While the Opera is not my neighborhood of choice for Paris (unlike Marais or Saint Germain des Pres, it feels less local etc), this hotel may have changed my mind. The rooms are very small, but modern, well designed, and super clean. The gym is probably the best I've seen in Paris so far, and it has a spa with a sauna.
The staff was incredibly kind. The location of the hotel makes it convenient to get pretty much ANYWHERE in paris, and the hotel was super clean and the AC worked well. Everything during our stay was fantastic.

Great choice of hotel

First visit to Paris so being near the train station was a great location. Its a big city! Hotel room not huge but its Paris and room was big enough. Really clean and excellent decoration. Stayed four nights and breakfast fantastic with a wide choice and they make your eggs fresh on order. Staff very helpful. Its modern and offers excellent service. Will stay again on my next visit.

Rooms were smaller than I expected so opening the door was a bit of a shock, but the rooms are nice, clean and staff are very friendly. Would recommend the location, but considering I was in the top floor, defo would've been nice to have a slightly bigger room considering the price. Also they don't honour anything on Expedia Gold so there's that.

Loved this hotel stayed there before. The room was really cosy. It was very small but that didnt bother us. The only issue was the plumbing in the toilet. Every flush the toilet filled up. We used the reception loo most of the time.

Our keys for the first common door did not work after the first day. We all had to make an extra trip to reception to get our keys updated

We were extremely disappointed with the service and staff at the property. We called a day ahead to confirm the room, and confirm the names of who would be arriving. The lady that answered the phone took down the names and said everything was set. The following day, upon arrival, they suddenly couldn't find the reservation, told us we arrived a day late, and said the wrong people had arrived. They had apparently given the room away, so they finally put us into a small room after an hour of going back and forth on the reservation. Very unhelpful and unprofessional service, despite us trying to make it as clear and simple in advance. Very dissapointed.

The room was significantly smaller than depicted in the photos, catching us off guard. Being tall myself and with my partner on the larger side, the cramped quarters were a real disappointment. Adding to the frustration, the room's location proved to be unbearably noisy, with constant honking and blaring sirens disturbing our sleep.

Upon expressing our concerns, the staff offered to store our luggage to free up some space, which felt like a temporary fix for a larger problem. Later, when we craved some wine, we waited patiently for service, but after around 10 minutes without any sign of assistance, we decided to abandon the wait and head across the street to the bar instead. Definitely will not be returning

Hotel has a very convenient location, walking distance to opera, shops, metro station, hop on hop off. Rooms are small the chair and the stool took pretty much space needed and non use of them. Staff was very friendly the only thing we didn’t like is that even when putting the non disturbing sign housekeeping kept on coming in to clean the room other than that it was perfect, I highly recommend the hotel.

Check-in was easy. The location was superb because it was right around the train station, metro, and the biggest shopping mall. Also there were plenty of restaurants and cafes to go to. I had the room facing the street and I could hear the noise but it wasn’t annoyingly loud. The noise died down around midnight but I didn’t have any problems sleeping on the days I slept before 12am. The bed was very comfortable. The best part of the stay was how clean this hotel was. It was spotlessly clean (the entire room including the bed and bathroom). The housekeeping staff should receive a bonus ~ they don’t cut corners but do an immaculate job helping the hotel maintain a positive and clean image. I don’t care how small a room is as long as it’s very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was what I expected. Nothing grand but also not bad. However, I. Super disappointed in hotels.com. I specifically booked a room with multiple beds for two people. When’s we arrived we got the smallest room possible and the hotel kindly informed us that was advertised to me doesn’t even exist. This is not the first time they have done this. Overall the hotel is not bad. Good location, friendly staff and okay room. You get what you pay for but I was just very disappointed in how hotels.com messed this up once more.

This place was the worst experience of my travel to Paris. There was no internet for the entire 4 days of my Paris visit. In return, they offered me a free welcome drink during my check out!!! It wasn't a very clean hotel and had to ask them to change the sheets after I found a bloodstain on my arrival on the bedsheet. overall my worst hotel experience with rude staff

We wanted to stay somewhere Central and make use of our benefits as Accor Advantage plus members. The check in process was really smooth and efficient. There was no traditional check in desk, just someone waiting at a desk with a tablet. We were checked in within minutes and give our room number. Just a bit dissapointed there .is compact but very clean and comfortable. We had some problems with the room thermostat. The brochure said we could adjust it ourselves but turns out we have to ring reception to get them to change the temperature for us. We love the fact that the hotel is located close (within 5-10 minutes) of a couple of Metro and is within walking distance (5-8 minutes) to the shopping precinct - Galleries Lafayette, Printemps. Lots of choice of restaurants nearby.
A little dissapointed with the Room service. We were supposed to be able to order anything from the menu till 10 pm but was told the kitchen was closed when we wanted to order some light meals at 9 pm one night and when we ring down for some breakfast, no one answered the phone and so no room service breakfast.
Overall a comfortable stay and very friendly reception staff but not very becoming of a 4 star hotel when it comes to food or concierge service.

Since our last visit, the hotel has been refurbished and streamlined, giving it a more 'business' feel. Overall, a good value and safe bet: Rooms are small, but nice. Breakfast is fine, but a bit limited. Many places to eat and drink in the neighborhood, but no bar or restaurant in the hotel itself (although some service in lobby in the evening).

The hotel is very close to the shopping area (only 3 mins walk to Printemps) and next door to the metro.
Cozy room which is clean. The only problem is the air-conditioning was set to 25 degree and it was hot in the mid of the night (the air-conditioning seemed to be switched off automatically for some time).
I particularly like the lobby area which is very spacious and well-designed.
The hotel also offers choice of express breakfast (apart from the buffet breakfast) at reasonable price and the right selection of food for people who do not want to eat a lot.

The hotel offers clean, well-maintained rooms in an amazing location at excellent prices. While the rooms are very small, chances are you're not visiting Paris to spend your time in the hotel room. The balcony was actually fantastic and had it not been raining for the better part of our stay we would have loved sharing a bottle of wine out there in the evening, overlooking the Gare St. Lazare area. We were in walking distance of the grands magasins, the Opéra, and many other attractions in the heart of Paris - would definitely stay in this one or another Mercure property next time!

Rooms are small, beds are short for tall people, bathrooms are tiny, may be this is the standard in Paris. There is road noise from restaurants and bars in the night if your room faces the road. If your room is near the elevator you might hear elevator noise during the night.

A Fantastic Place To Be Based To Enjoy Paris

Well maintained hotel with some great local eateries literally on the same street. They have both smoking and non smoking rooms, its is France after all, so non smokers make sure to request the non smoking or take a scented candle with you.
Our advise is to try and secure a Courtyard view room as they are absolutely quiet whereas the other rooms will have the hustle and bustle of the roads and bars ebbing their way to your ears although how much I can't tell you.

Upgrade for the extra to a Prestige room and the space is perfect. Its paris rooms are small as standard so don't complain if you book a standard room in the middle of this City and then expect a lot of space! The location is outstanding for shopping, food and sightseeing.

Staff are very helpful, if they seem 'rude' as many American reviews state on TripAdvisor etc its probably because you're not being pleasant - try smiling a bit more and you will get the same in return! You're not at a tip fuelled iHop anymore!

Would 100% use this Hotel again.

Very welcoming hotel, close to major shops, excellent connections via Metro and buses. Quick taxi ride from Gare du Nord. Great if you like walking - not far from Champs-Elysees. I walked to the Louvre and across to St Germain des Pres (although you need comfortable shoes as it's a fairly long walk).
The staff were great-very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was quite good. Room service menu adequate. Near to lots of bars and restaurants. The only disappointment was that the room was rather small, but I'd nevertheless recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, clean, very, very close to large metro / rail station, You can go to all the major sites on two trains or less. Lots of restaurants, mall in station and lots of shops around hotel. After an initial difficulty about the room booked prior to my arrival, I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff kindly offered me the opportunity to upgrade my room which I did and the priviledge room was lovely and spacious with a great bathroom and comfortable faciliites. Throughout my stay, the staff were extremely helpful and kind especially when some other travel arrangements were complicated through other agents mistakes. This hotel is perfectly placed for access to trains and taxis and is close to everything so taxi fares are very reasonable to get wherever you want in the city if you are tired of the underground and climbing stairs.

Great place for a weekend in Paris

We stayed here for New Year's eve. The hotel is located just steps away from Blvd. Haussmann with all its major stores and the Opéra. It is in excellent shape as it seems that it has had a complete make-over recently. The rooms are 'Paris size' but have all the comfort you would expect. Douglas, the gentleman who checked us in was confident enough to say that we would be back ... I think he's right.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel and enjoyed the stay a lot. We had the rooms with two single beds, so we were able to sleep soundly on our own bed. The bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. What I like most about this hotel is that it is located in a central location with three metro stations within 5 minutes walk. These three metro stations serve at least 10 different lines of subway metros and RER, so it only takes one ride to get to pretty much everywhere in Paris. It is also within 5-10 minutes walk to the Printemp and the Galleries La Fayette. You can spend the day shopping in these two prime department stores and rest your feet at this hotel at night. The hotel is located on a side street, so there wasn't much street noise that interfered with sleep. The room also had windows that could be open for some fresh air in the morning. Overall, I would rate this an excellent hotel stay.

We arrived at 9am from an overnight flight from Bangkok and allowed into our room without extra charge. The room was small so we upgraded the next day to a Privilege room which was much better. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. The free wifi at this budget hotel is something more expensive hotels who charge should be ashamed of.

Opera--hotel has a great central location.

The hotel is in walking distance of the Opera, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Especially liked morning coffee at Paul's. The room was charming and the hotel staff very helpful. Lobby was inviting and perfect for a glass of wine in the afternoon. I would come again!!!

Cozy and convenient

I stayed at this hotel four nights. It was narrow but clean room. Maintained clean every day. This hotel is located near st. Lazare station, Opera subway station.and Paris north station. So, very convenient to go everywhere.
