We upgraded to a comfort room after our first night definitely worth it. The room was much larger. Staff was super friendly! Amazing location you could pretty much walk to every attraction. So many restaurants around the hotel. The Galleria was a short walk away. The metro was around the corner. The breakfast was disappointing mostly prepackaged items.

Further out from main attractions but the metro was 5 minute walk away so not too bad, not too many restaurants or convenient stores around later in the night. AC did not work well, we would wake up drenched in sweat every night. Definitely would not say 4 stars, more like 3 and our room was right at the entrance and could smell smoke from outside our room on the first floor.

Overall, this hotel was a decent value for the price. Pros- i found the opera neighborhood to be more locals rather than tourists; the hotel was close to the printemps and galerie lafayette department stores.
Cons - some of the outlets didn’t work; room was quite small.

The front desk people were wonderful. Room was clean, air conditioning worked perfectly. Shower and bed very good. We were disappointed that our espresso machine didn’t work but the people at the front desk were great to make us our morning coffee. We would have also liked our refrigerator to work but it didn’t.

Tess was just wonderful from the moment she checked me in to the moment she handed me my boarding pass. Kooba in housekeeping was so so sweet when I asked for more coffee pods and bottle of Evian water. 3 min from Madeleine metro station and 5 min from Hermes on Saint Honore and also close to Palais Garnier. Just wonderful

Very small rooms! Shower is messy with water splashing everywhere. Coffee cups not washed properly, previous guest lipstick mark was found on my room coffee cup. I would say a 3 stars hotel definitely not 4 stars.

I LOVED this place! I would love to go back to Paris and stay here again! The people are super nice! Any questions prior to coming would be answered promptly. The bed was so comfortable, super clean and was actually quite roomy with a fridge! We booked a suite that a little patio, actually 3 little patios! With seats. In the 6th floor. 😍. The location was excellent. Only 10 min walk to the Louvre. And the area is very clean and well lit at night full of restaurants and little markets when the restaurants close. I’m so glad I picked this place for my family thru expedia. Oh and there’s breakfast included which I did not realize so it was a nice surprise. Only one drawback: in the morning around breakfast time, the cleaning service team uses the elevator and you cannot go back to ur room with the elevator around that time, you have to take the stairs. The elevator is small. But that’s only a small little unexpected annoyance that I could handle if I knew ahead of time. So yes, stay here and you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing location. Clean and tidy. Staff were polite, albeit not very helpful. It didn’t feel like a 4 * hotel. Some basic amenities were missing or unavailable, such as extra pillows and shampoo! The 2 pillows in the room were paper thin and did not provide sufficient comfort. When I asked for more, I was told that they did not have anymore. It definitely wasn’t the worst hotel, but it definitely did not reflect the price I paid nor the pictures.

Loved the hotel, its location near madeline station. and the staff. You can catch trains really easily. It was such a good apartment and really loved the fact that the hotel wasnt huge so it felt like home but in paris. If you want something comfortable, private and homie then chose this hotel.

Rénovation without notice , I was ill and the director was so money minded , not willing to do anything to help. Breathing glue all day and night , not even an apology. Only one staff during the afternoon and two in the morning including one at the buffet.

First day we arrived they gave us a room in the lobby! Ridiculous!! Smelled like cigarettes and we had noise from the street and the lobby. After complaining to the manager he was rude and told me we could leave if we wanted to (I already paid in advance so that wasn’t an option for us) the next morning I woke up with a red eye and sore throat from the strong cigarette smell. I spoke to the manager again and this time he was helpful and gave us a different room upstairs.

Hotel is located close to the metro!

This is a boutique hotel located close to the Madeline. It’s also close to the metro so it’s easy to get to places from this location. We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and breakfast was offered in the morning for $19.00 which was kind of pricey for what you get. The customer service was good. The rooms were a bit small but you really don’t spend much time in them except to sleep. It was a bit noisy while we were there. The rooms are clean and nice.

Upgraded to a balcony for 30 euros per night. Was not told about street construction with upgrade a week before stay! To loud to use first 2 days very hard to climb up to balcony. Hurt foot climbing back inside not worth the extra to upgrade and no response when told of dissatisfaction.

The staff is absolutely stellar! Polite, charming, and all about going out of their way to make your experience as comfortable and harmonic as possible. The hotel is quaint, adequate, very clean, with all the basic amenities, well priced for an area of town that usually runs higher. Very well situated within walking distance of the Madeleine, and Gare Saint Lazarre train station, with several restaurant selections within a blocks walking distance and an amazing bolangerie practically on the corner. Also two drug stores within a 2/3 block radius. Willing to walk a little further? Of course you are, it’s Paris! You can easily get to Place de la Concorde, and cross the Pont de La Concorde beyond within 15 minutes time on foot. Great little place to stay with the nicest friendliest staff ever!

We had gone out to Bayeux the night before to visit Normandy. Unfortunately due to a rail strike our train was canceled we could not find transportation back to Paris until the following day. We called and explained what happened and I had Hotels.com call and explain. The hotel still kept our money and didn't offer even a partial refund.

We then got to Paris the following day and I decided to go see this hotel. I am glad we didn't stay there. Questionable area, not a lot of food options and the hotel lobby was dirty.

There are a million hotels in Paris, pick any other and you should be good.

Attention to detail lacking

Hotel was fairly underwhelming due to the lack of attention to detail in some crucial areas:
Mold in the shower
Beauty mirror light not working
Only one of the two in-mirror lights not working
Towels old and holed.
Shower design poor: count on a soggy floor in the bathroom area (outside of shower alcove) as there is nowhere for water to run.
No English TV channels, not even the basics such as CNN and BBC World.

Amazingly friendly lady at the front desk. Spoke great English and was eager to help. Room was nice and spacious. Unfortunately I could hear people walking up and down the stairs at night. Despite having only one elevator, I had no issue at all. Hotel is situated at the perfect location as it’s close to metro and shopping areas!

Very quiet considering the busy neighbourhood. The room had everything you needed except an iron and could do with more comfy pillows but otherwise it was very perfect! I do not recommend this hotel at all. We arrived to find that the wrong room was allocated to us. After a long argument they gave us the room we booked to begin with but I literally had to carry the bedding from one room to the next and make up the beds myself. There was no cleaning while we there, I had to beg the night receptionists for some toilet paper and some coffee sachets. The daytime receptionist was rude and arrogant.

Easy access to Metro & Paris attractions

The rooms are efficiently laid out in a small space. Our room was on the front of the hotel over looking Rue de L' Arcade but the modern windows kept out the noise and the blackout curtains kept out the light. Those features and a comfortable bed led to two good night's sleep. We chose a brief stay in Paris after a Mediterranean cruise and picked this hotel due to its location compared to the Arc, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre, etc. and we were more than pleased as we had a short walk to the metro and the hop-on hop-off bus. The desk clerk, Marine, was excellent throughout our short stay from greeting us on our first day to talking with us and asking if we needed help with anything every time we walked through the lobby. Marine was particularly helpful when I had to navigate the French language computer and print process to check us into our flight and print the boarding passes. We would recommend this hotel to any Paris visitor.

Everything about this place was satisfactory, except that I couldn't figure out how to get the heater/AC/fan working. It wasn't a major issue, due to the weather, but it didn't seem to respond to what I set it to. I would say the likelihood of this being my fault is maybe 10%, since I rarely have trouble with electronics. I didn't ask for assistance. Also, the walls seemed to be a little thin.

The room and bathroom were clean, spacious (for Europe), and looked pretty classy. I did not eat breakfast there.

Comfortable and quiet location in central Paris

We stayed at this hotel in mid-Feb. Superior room was of ample size for 2, doubt s regular room would be sufficient. Pros: rather extended layout, separate computer desk, good free WiFi service, new bath and tabs, good bath toiletries. A kettle and a coffee machine (we did not use the latter) and some tea and coffee bags for free. Cons: room goes around the inner round staircase, the insulation could have been better, although at night it was not an issue. Also, the bath space (unlike the toilet) is not separated from the room itself, so all the shower steam is on the windows which have to be opened to refresh the air. No air con (heating by the radiator in the bath zone). . No cupboard or even the drawers. Overall: location bits it all, as it is next door to Madelene Church and on a quiet side street, and the price was adequate. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice place to crash before heading to airport

I booked this hotel because it said it offered an airport transfer. Unfortunately, it costs 59 Euro. Fortunately, it is located within 10 min walk of a Roissy bus station (20 euro pp). We made this walk in 20 min despite having 80+ lbs of luggage per person, and arrived at the airport 30 min later.

Hotel is located in a good quiet neighborhood near opera house. There's a safe in the room along with tea/coffee. The wifi was so slow I had to use my phone. The hotel did not offer to help with our luggage.

Room is small by American standards, normal by Paris standards.

The bathroom could have been cleaned better - some yellow along the bottom part of the shower, and some black underneath the toilet rim. The shower got the entire bathroom wet because there is no door on the shower stall, despite the fact I put a towel at the opening. The bathroom has a door itself although it is a sliding door and was well worn (a minor eyesore).

close to everything

Had front corner room next to construction early morning drilling can shock you out of sleep. Room was too small, small bathroom with no shower door caused us to use towels to sap up water spiiling out of shower. Some mildew build up in between shower tiles slight odor to rug.
