Beautiful hotel,superb lounge,room was perfect,with a great view of the Eiffel Tower as a bonus!

Shower leaked everywhere in the bathroom, staff was unhelpful in remedying and could not offer a different room. Multiple hairs of other people found on the towels. Breakfast not free. $700 deposit for incidentals?! Had to leave early and although it was pre-booked through expedia the staff did not offer any sort of credit for the remaining nights.

It is more in a residential area so it is quieter, but an easy taxi or walk to major attractions. The staff are very friendly! The hotel rooms are very large for French standards and extremely clean. When traveling I’m a big water drinker, but you never had to buy water, the staff left more than enough for family daily. Highly recommend!

As was evident at the hotel, outstanding management conduces to outstanding service from its employees, who are genuinely responsive, proactive, and kind, Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Overall service was good. Specially it was very kind to give all mini bar items complimently for 1st day. However, I can not understand the policy to charge additional money for additionally one adult for the room allowed upto 4 persons. Once the customer chose premium room or suite room upto 4 persons, they shoud not charge upto 4 persons additionally. Otherwise, when the customer stay alone, hotel should reduce the price. It is not fair to charge two persons' price for one person, but charge more if three people stay.

The service we received was amazing especially the buffet breakfast staff. They even remembered my favorite drink the second day. The reception was super helpful. He managed to get in touch with a doctor very fast for our daughters on Bastille Day. The service you get in this hotel is far better than other 5 star hotels. However we were pretty disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The room had a stale and moldy smell and was very dusty.

The rooms are surprisingly large, unusual for Paris.
Amenities are nice, the spa and gym area could be updated but it has the minimum needed to stay in shape.
The staff is very helpful and professional. This hotel is definitely one to have on your list.

Stay was great in every way except we booked a room with view and we got a first floor room just facing the street , this was the only disappointment, I wouldn’t have paid for a room with view if I knew they will tell me at our arrival that all higher floor rooms are taken so this is what we get ! Service was great and hotel was really good in general though . They should have done much better with giving us a higher floor room with some view since that’s what we paid for though .

Eccellent service, especislly from Victor the bellboy who was so helpful, kind amd considerate. He helped us so much with the bags and getting a taxi snd was so warm and welcoming. Also a bif shout out to the lady st breakfast, i think her name was Shrw shrw, she was lively, helping my mom pracyoce her french, friendly and hempgul towards mt baby and my childs needs. Overall, stagg were superb, coulsnr ask for better service , only downside was it was a little pricey for a small hotel but the staff made the trip memorable and comfortable. Also victoria, the housekeeping lady was excellent, so thorough in her job, excellent cleanliness and so sweet.

The staff are very nice and professional. Upon arriving, we were greeted and offer drinks. When we entered our room, they had a small dessert, wine, sweets, and kids journal book prepared for us as a welcome gesture. Our suite is spacious, my children (7 & 9 years old) enjoyed the comfortable sofa bed. Our bed is soft and comfortable. The pillows were perfect. I have spine issues and I didn’t have any pain after sleeping on the bed. The room is clean and the air conditioning is great kept us cool during the heat wave in July when we went. They clean everyday and provide bottled water. Also the air is clean and smells really good when we enter our room. The hotel is beautiful and is near to a lot places to eat. We enjoyed our stay for my husband’s birthday. I wish we were in the higher floors or have a view of the Eiffel Tower hopefully next time they can accommodate that request. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Paris Madeleine! Thank you!

We were so impressed by everyone at the hotel, they went above and beyond to help us and with two very small children it was SO appreciated! Allowing us to rest in a room before our actual room was ready for check-in was a lifesaver after the red eye from NYC. The wine and festive chocolate for the kids for Christmas in our room was such a lovely and generous surprise. The food, the drinks, the service was impeccable and our room was spacious, warm, comfortable, clean and quiet. Just what we were looking for, and more! thank-you!

Very welcoming and accommodating front desk staff! Our overnight flight arrived at 8a and we were exhausted. While check-in was not technically until after 3p they were able to accommodate us with a room by 1p and prior to that, provided us with coffee/juice and offered use the fitness facilities to freshen up in the meantime. They were very helpful with making reservations on our behalf at restaurants and securing museum passes. This Hyatt is a quiet boutique hotel located in a high end shopping district. The subway is an easy 10 minute walk away and the area felt very safe. We will definitely stay again on our next trip!

A Great location with large comfort updated room. Also great air conditioning if you are fearful of the Paris summer heat. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and even surprised us with balloons, champagne, and dessert in our room for our wedding anniversary. The spa and fitness area was very nice, but lacking a pool (which is likely not an important feature for most trips to Paris). There was some construction adjacent to the property, but they were mindful of appropriate start and finish times. The restaurant was also under renovation, but food was available in their beautiful lobby atrium area. Overall, a great stay!

The people that work at this hotel are the finest and nicest people you’ll encounter anywhere in the world. Warm, friendly, very gracious. I loved everything about this hotel. My only comment is that they had the morning buffet in their beautiful lobby the first few mornings I was there - which was absolutely magnificent. Then, during the rest of my stay, the buffet was moved into a depressing, dark, and smaller room with a rather unappealing view of the street. Not at all sensational like the lobby - which was a fantastic spot for breakfast - beautifully decorated and very bright - a great way to start the day and much higher end. I found the staff to be very helpful and they did everything possible to make my stay terrific. Also, when I checked in, I was told that my room would be very beautiful - which it was not at all. No art on the walls, practically no furniture - very spartan. Hardly “beautiful”!

I warn the future tourists to be very careful about the fraudulent activities of 2 receptionists of this hotel which on August 6 gave me and my family the worst hard time and racist experience we have ever had in our life. The aforementioned staff first asked us to pay 2500 euro as a deposit for incidents despite this issue that we have already paid all fees at the time of reservation. Then when I did not agree to pay that fee another lady who introduced herself also as a manager asked me to pay 750 euro and mentioned that her colleague did a mistake in calculating. I paid the 750 euro for deposit by my credit card and then they kept me and my family ( a 9 year old child and and my wife and my older daughter) waiting in the lobby for about 4 hours and did not let us to get in the room because the check in time is 3:00pm and we got there soon. When we finally got inside the room I received a call from my bank that the hotel had tried to charge my credit card 2 more times. They had tied to charged me about 1200 dollars for the second time and immediately after that charged my credit card for about $30000 (thirty thousand dollars). I did not approve those fraudulent transactions and immediately informed the Expedia customer service but those ladies denied this issue. I had to put my whole credit on hold because of these rude and racist ladies and all of our plans to enjoy this trip was ruined at the onset as we did not feel safe anymore.

We stayed here our last night in Paris and the room exceeded my expectation. The superior room was large for Paris standards and the bathroom seemed fairly newly renovated and was clean and spacious. The service was excellent as well- the pullout bed was made for our daughter when we arrived after a long day of travel from Provence, much to our delight. We also were brought up pastries and coffee earlier than the restaurant was planning to open so we could have fuel for our trip back to California. All in all this was a great hotel!

Hi -

Property was fine. Issue was that my booking was screwed up. I recall booking this for Feb 9-10, rather than the dates on which I was booked. When I arrived, hotel refused to correct the mistake and instead made me pay both the cancellation fee and a fee for the new room. Not sure if this happened on the hotel's side or Expedia's side, but I would appreciate it if you could resolve it.

A good hotel but nothing outstanding about it.
For a decent room ,junior suite, I had to pay 150 euros extras as the standard one was very small and basic. The complimentary coffee at the reception it was below average,the staff is kind and helpful. The location is good but I would say a bit too quiet,10 mins walk from the Madeleine metro station. The hotel is nice but a bit pricey for what it offers.
