Excellent stay in Paris

We came for the Olympics. The hotel is older but seems to be fully renovated recently. There is a charm to it with the open court in the middle. Very romantic. It's conveniently located close to groceries, many bakeries around to chose from and 3min walk to Miromesnil station (which take you to Montparnasse train station). During the olympics we were about 20min walk to the first venue at la Concorde but also 15-20 min walk to Opera or Printemps for shopping.

My family stayed two nights in communicating rooms. We loved this cute, little boutique hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and the location is convenient. Lots of eateries in the area and a Monoprix (kinda like a Target) is close which is a bonus. The rooms are small, but its expected in Europe. The decor and atmosphere make up for it.

There was construction going on in the hotel to upgrade their AC, but it did not affect our stay.

We would recommend this hotel to others and definitely stay again.

This is a really comfortable location and the rooms, while small, still really offer everything needed. It was really nice that this hotel offered a connecting room for families, which was why I chose this location. It was in a nice area, it was quiet and still very charming. Wonderful short stay

Delighted with my stay for a couple of nights in Hotel Arioso. Booked for its proximity to a venue I was attending it far exceeded my expectations. Lovely friendly and efficient welcome, the room was extremely large for a Parisian hotel, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and a well stocked and pleasantly designed bathroom. Windows blocked any extraneous noise but since it is on a side street, am guessing that there wasn't much to block anyway, so was entirely undisturbed during my stay. Easy for public transport with two metro stations within a few minutes walk. All in all I couldn't have been happier with my choice.

We were greeted with “Yay! You’re here!!” when we first walked in and that is how our entire stay went. Friendly staff, comfortable common areas, perks like free croissants, candies and coffees/teas and charming rooms were some of the many amenities of this adorable hotel. We were traveling with our two grown children and had two rooms, each with their own bathroom, connected by a little alcove hallway. We could keep our bedroom doors open and close the hall door for a cozy home-like atmosphere. Everything was perfect!

The hotel could use some updates. The paint was peeling in multiple places and the toliet lid fell off when we opened it. The place has a unique smell and on our second night we figured out what it was, there were someone else's poo stained boxers under our bed.

The hotel staff were very friendly and overall the property seemed clean by Europe standards. The AC didn't work very well so. The room could use a fan of sorts to help circulate the air.

Perfect location for a couple of days in Paris. Pleasant staff and spotlessly clean room. Nice touch to have the robes and slippers in the rooms. Only downfall was a rather poor hairdryer and a sink that seemed to be dripping slightly underneath on our last morning. As these were very minor points, I would 100% choose Hotel Arioso for our next trip to Paris.

The room was way smaller than expected and although we were obviously a room of 3 people, we only received towels for 2 people every day except the first and last day of our 7 day trip. They also did not provide toilet paper and I had to request every day. However, the staff was always willing to help and they were very polite and courteous. The hotel was cozy and felt very homey.

A beautiful quaint hotel, we were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is so charming and small (in a good way!). It really felt like home for our short stay. The room was an OK size, bed was huge and comfortable. Our only let down was that directly around it there was not a lot to see, but a 15 minute walk or short subway ride away was all the action.

This is a great little hotel with a charming atmosphere that is very conveniently located to use to the metro or walk around. It is on a quiet street, which we liked, and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and well decorated. We would have liked to have the option for a continental breakfast at the hotel for less, as we found the cost for what was offered a bit high at 17 euros per person for essentially bread, eggs, juice and fruit, but this was not a deal breaker since there are plenty of places around where you can go enjoy a similar breakfast for much less. Overall however, it was a great experience and we would certainly stay here again.

It was a small room, but that was to be expected. Everything was neat and clean. It does say that you have your own air conditioning, but ours didn’t work as we thought. Our room never cooled down. We had to keep the window open to cool off BUT the traffic was loud. Other than that, it was a good location and I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Good value for downtown Paris, although the location might not be ideal for location-minded tourists, as it's a couple of kilometers from the exact center of the city, even though in a fashionable district. Within walking distance are the Louvre museum and Place de la Concorde. Rooms are small, although again, that's typical for Paris. The air conditioning was very welcome during the heat wave. The breakfast was minimal, but adequate. I would recommend this hotel for an extended stay because of its affordability; just be prepared to travel a bit to reach the city's big attractions, such as Seine river boat tours and Notre Dame Cathedral. The fashionable Latin Quarter and St-Germain areas, and the Luxembourg gardens and Musée d'Orsay and Cluny Museum are on the opposite side of the river, about 5 km (3 miles) away from the hotel, but easily accessible by Metro, or on foot after a scenic half-hour or so. Not all of Paris' best attractions are clustered together, so there is no single, ideal location for a hotel. If location is your No. 1 consideration, try Hôtel Michelet Odeon.

Would never stay again, unsafe and unreliable

Went downstairs to have breakfast but since I had all my valuables lying out I put the \"do not disturb\" sign on my door. I came upstairs 45 minutes later to find the maid and another staff member in my room whispering to each other. They jumped when they saw me and started scrambling to get out. When I asked why they were in my room when the sign clearly said do not disturb they pretended not to speak any English, when I had spoken to them both in English in the days before. I went to the front desk asking for an explanation and they basically said they go into rooms with the do not disturb sign on often and could not offer an explanation. The staff just made me feel really uncomfortable. Definitely not staying here again.

Definitely NOT 4 star!

The hotel was adequate, but certainly not what was expected from an advertised 4 star hotel. The room was small but did have all the essentials. The bathroom was out dated, with chips in the bath and a shower-head that didn't want to stay in its holder! Breakfast was poor, mostly continental, which was fine, but no fresh tea or coffee - you had to make this yourself with hot water left on the side. Everything was just a bit poor quality, 2 star rather than 4. The breakfast staff barely communicated with us. Tables weren't cleared. As a coeliac I need a gluten free diet, but there was no gluten free alternatives for cereal or bread - again now what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Now I understand why it seemed such a good deal when I booked it.

Rooms were not upkept. My shower head was broken and the stink kept clogging. But the housekeeper already knew about these things since I saw the shower head just laying in the tub. The carpet in the room was dirty, so were the towels and sheets, all stained. The hotel concierge couldn't even recommend a restaurant for dinner.

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Room was typical European size (for Americans, on the small size) bathroom was large and clean. Staff was excellent and very helpful in planning our excursions, etc. Location was excellent. 10-15 min walk to Champs-Elysee and 5 minute walk to Metro. The quad room was a blessing for my family of four with two separate rooms and two bathrooms!

Total lack of privacy and a staff who doesn't care

Zero privacy in room 304 and a staff that does not care. If you stay in this room, prepare to keep your black out curtains closed the entire time or share your room with anyone who decides to go on the balcony that is outside the room. All the staff needed to do was put up signage saying that the balcony door in the hallway was an emergency exit only - instead they just say \"oh sorry, people don the normally use it\". So much for that when there were people there 3 times in only a 2 night stay. The staff didn't do anything to help and made no offers to try and compensate for the total invasion of privacy. An absolute sham for a 4 star hotel.

This was a very nice hotel. The location is great. Next to the metro and could walk almost everywhere. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Pomze right around the corner. The room was nice and clean. A bit on the small size but everything in Paris is. The wi-fi wasn't that good but workable. Breakfast was good but if you are like me and like to start your day with a great coffee instead I highly recommend walking to illy cafe (look it up on google maps). All hotel staff spoke English and was very helpful and courteous.

We stayed for 5 days here. The location is great and staff are very helpful. It's a 15 min walk from Place de Concorde and very close to the metro. However, the rooms are small (may be a paris thing - every tour spoke to the high cost) which is also ok. The one thing that we didn't like was the breakfast - Only cold items (all hot items are charged extra, including omlettes) and they were all sweet. There was nothing savoury on the entire menu. Felt cheated paying 200+ euros per night and getting this every morning

central and safe location

The doors on the corridors outside of room is heavy and slammed many times by other guests waking up us early mornings. It was quite annoying. Also people smoke cigarettes on the corridor causing quite bad smell and irritation of throat.

Hotel was a little hard to find in a side street and the hotel sign was not very visible, but we were pleasantly surprised when we finally found it. We had reserved a room for us and one for our daughter and her husband and they put us on the same floor which was very convenient. Rooms were decent size, well appointed and NOT noisy. All the staff were friendly. Guilaine, who checked us in, was especially helpful with map guides and places to go eat. She got us a taxi for the early morning ride to the airport (the kids had left earlier than us and had taken a combination of bus and train to CDG). A lot of the tourist attractions were within fairly easy walking distance or easily accessible by bus or metro. A very good hotel for a visit to Paris.

We only stayed for one night before heading home from Paris. But, the staff was very pleasant and helped us by storing our bags before check-in and with local information. The bed was small for our standards as we normally sleep in a king bed, but, the pillows, linens, towels, etc were all clean and comfortable. while the room was quiet small, everything in it was nice and it was very quiet which i value.

This is my hotel of choice

I come to Paris a lot for work. This is my favorite hotel and definitely my hotel of choice. Why? The staff. They are very dear and treat me like an old friend. They are extremely helpful and kind. Second: Value for money. I have tried other hotels in the area. They are priced more and the rooms are not as nice nor the service from staff. Third: I love small hotels, not the big chains. This is the essence of a small hotel. Bravo!

Great location

This is my go to hotel in the 8th. The location is great, the staff are caring and professional and the room is pleasant. I believe it is a great price point, true value for money.

Hotel Arioso

This is a sweet place to stay for a short break in Paris. You can walk to some main sites, but the area itself isn't the liveliest, with few decent dining and drinking options nearby unless you head into Marais or towards the river. The hotel was quaint and clean, but rooms were typically small. Some staff were a little unhelpful, which may put me off booking the room again. But overall good value for money if you would like to stay in this location.

Love this boutique hotel. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is a gem, centrally located n close to the metro. It has a cute lobby n breakfast area, very comfy bed, n spotless bathroom,. The toiletry set included nice bath salts - a good excuse to take some time-out to enjoy a relaxing bath. The only bad thing was the traffic noise if u left the windows open. But for my personal safety, i always close the windows when i sleep. So the noise was not an issue as the closed windows block the noise out completely.
I normally like to hotel-hop n try out other hotels. But if I return to Paris again, I'm pretty tempted to stay at this place again. It has indeed been a nice experience n good value in comparison to many of Paris's overpriced hotels.
