We had the family room, with a large king bed and a twin, which was perfect for 3 ladies. Two large windows that we could open was also convenient. The only thing was that the mirror on top of small table should be much larger in height .. for 3 people to prepare themselves. Thks

Made my stay in Paris so amazing! Rooms are super clean and the air conditioning isn’t very strong but it’s there. Front desk and all staff are friendly and always very helpful. The location is very convenient as well with the Miromesnil station being a 2-3 minute walk away! Plenty of food options, a Franprix, and other great places around the area. Definitely hoping to stay here again during a future trip to Paris!

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights to explore the city. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location—it's incredibly convenient. Just steps away from shopping centers, a variety of dining options, and easy access to public transportation, which made getting around the city hassle-free.

However, the room itself was underwhelming. It felt quite small for two adults, and we were disappointed by the limited amenities. There was no space to really relax or unpack comfortably, and it lacked some of the extras you’d expect at this price point.

If you're prioritizing location over comfort, this place might suit your needs. But for travelers looking for a bit more space and convenience in-room, you may want to explore other options.

“This hotel had very small rooms, and the bathroom and toilet were so tiny that even one person could barely fit. There was a lot of noise coming from outside, and even when the neighboring room flushed the toilet, we could hear it in our room. I definitely wouldn’t give this hotel 4 stars.”

Beautiful hotel- rooms quite roomy and comfortable- odd to leave your key to your room each and every time you leave but one less thing to worry about I guess. Elevator is very Parisian and if your on top for the best view you have the stairs to walk up- definitely a taste of paris for sure!! I 10 minutes one way your at galleries Lafayette and Printemps or 10 min the other direction your on champs Elysee- beautiful and close to several metro stations

Good hotel, can walk to many sights

A nice budget hotel in central locations with good transport connections.

We came early for our check-in and were told by the pleasant man at the reception that our room would be ready at 3pm. We went for a walk, came back at 3pm, and he told us that we have got a room upgrade from a comfort room to a family room.

The room was huge for Parisian standards, there was even a table with 4 chairs. It had a period (non-functioning) fireplace, high ceilings and other original features. There was a painting/picture with the Eiffel tower on the wall which we could admire from bed.
There was a kettle with tea, coffee and milk. The storage space was good. The soundproofing was good, there were two double-glazed windows with a space between them.
The lightning was the only thing for which we recommend some improve as it was not quite adequate for working on a computer.

The bathroom was good size with 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel for 2 people.

Very recommended: Good value for money, good service, many sights and shopping destinations within walking distance.

I was in the hotel in december and the room heating was excellent. And of course the hotel's location is in one of the best places in Paris. Reception is good and helpful.

The room and the bathroom are extremely small, ok if you are staying 2 nights and spend most of your time outside your room. The most disappointing thing is that the room as not been cleaned well, even the mug I have used for coffee has been left with leftover coffee in it as well as tea/coffee/milk have not been replaced (so couldn't make myself another hot drink on my second day). The room was also extremely humid, in fact the curtains were completely soaked in the morning which is not really ideal. On the positive side, the hotel is dog friendly.

Gorgeous rooms with gorgeous views

Beautiful views and gorgeous hotel with Parisian ceilings and a fireplace in our room! Choose the 5th floor for the best views if you don’t mind stairs. Walking distance (sub-20 minutes) from Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. Staff very friendly and accommodating, would book again!

Dog owners: stay here!

D’Argenson would be a good choice for a 2 star stay in Paris in any circumstance, but add the fact that they do not charge pet fees (!!!), and it becomes the best choice in Paris.

Lovely hotel, super clean and convenient. Very helpful staff. A lot of people wrote about the construction but I did not here anything. Located in a very nice quaint neighborhood just the right distance from the touristy areas. So much better than what I expected, the rooms and bathrooms are trendy and freshly updated. Definitely more than a 3 star hotel! Stations are very close. I would look no where else to stay again.

Location was good, 5 min walk to subway station and close to other shops and restaurants. Breakfast (served in room) was good. However, cleanliness and condition of hotel were unacceptable. Thick dust on the walls, black mold on shower head and all around the bathroom, smelly bathroom floor with dirty shower carpet. Floor, bedding and towels were clean. Would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

..but the room could not have been much smaller. Quite shabby and dark as the window opened on to an inner blank wall.
The lobby was attractive but the room was in need of updating. We could hear the plumbing from every room around us, loos flushing, basins filling, showers running.
However , it was adequate for the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Lovely hotel central to all the sights!

We arrived off the eurostar at about 10.30pm and were welcomed warmly by our host - his English was not great but he was super patient and explained everything in slow basic French for me to understand!

On Saturday morning we awoke to breakfast in bed which was lovely, a continental of croissants and baguette with tea/coffee and fruit juice, as well as fruit preserves, nutella, cheese, and apricot fruit salad.

During the day we were able to visit the Louvre, Notre Dame, Rue Mouffetard and the Eiffel Tower easily, and then managed to get to the Arc De Triomphe and down the shopping street of the Champs Elysees before watching the Rugby in a pub nearby.

We slept well and had a great checkout time of 12pm, and they were kind enough to hold our bags until we were ready to head to the Eurostar

Location is very near to the metro station, around 5 minutes walking distance, near Champs Elysees street region.

Very small lift I've ever met, only one lady with a check-in luggage is very crowded inside. Everything is clean and comfortable, having one window, no air conditioner, no coffee/tea maker, very smaller bathroom. Breakfast is sent to the room as your mentioned time one day before, bread with coffee and milk.

I've booked from hotels.com website, cost S$250 for two nights with tax, around euro 81 per night with tax. No city tax is charged when I check out.

Overall, it is a good location but small budget hotel, recommended for city sightseeing purpose, not recommended for business purpose.

This hotel is in a great location. The room we stayed in was rather small, had stains on the floor, and had a tiny bathroom. But because we used the hotel merely to sleep in and shower, the size wasn't a major inconvenience. The staff was mostly very friendly (the woman at the front desk was wonderful). The continental breakfast was simple but delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a solo traveler or a couple that will mainly be out and about, but not for anyone looking for luxury in Paris.

Clean, staff very helpful. Breakfast is brought to your room. No tea /coffee making in your room. Rooms are far too small for a double bed, no room for luggage. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything..!! When another guest above you flushes their toilet you think it's raining in your room.

Nice hotel close to Paris' main sites. This hotel has an authentic ambiance of old France, but lacks the comfort most people expect today. The lack of air conditioning makes the room quite hot in the summer despite the provided fan, especially since we felt a little unsafe leaving the balcony door open. The bathroom is very small and difficult to move around in.

The hotel is much older than what is shown in the pictures and website. The carpet is quiet old and the lift is too small even for one person. The surprising part was related to the information of this lift which was indicated, suitable for four persons. Breakfast was only served on the bed and is always similar. The mattress are too hard.

The rooms are big and the location is good and very close to Champs-Elyeese. street.

Enjoyed the stay of 8 nights very much. Atmosphere of hotel very cool, definitely felt like you were in France, not in one of those hotels that could be anywhere
Breakfast in the room was very nice. Staff were uniformly pleasant, intelligent and extremely helpful. Definitely would stay there again and recommend it to a friend.
Only negatives (and very minor ones) were the street noise from Baron Haussmann Boulevard, a main drag, and the small size of the room. Bed was very comfy (firm mattress).
Very glad.we stayed there. Really enhanced the Paris experience.

I like hotels with good-sized lobbies, sitting and eating areas. This had none of the three.
The room was a lovely size with large windows and comfy bed and giant wardrobe which
I appreciated. And the great location!
Carpet needed serious vacuuming.
Breakfast was delivered to your room which was novel but everything except bread
was packaged including way too sweet canned fruit.

This hotel is a typical French hotel. Front desk persons are very good and helpful. Hotel is very close to metro and bus stops. Lots of restaurants, attractions and shopping malls are with in walking distance. Bed is very comfortable. But washroom is too small and not convenient to use, door is just in front of your nose. Tiny elevator, good for hardly 2 persons. No coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. Overall good for budget stay in Paris.

The photos allude to a more modern-looking hotel. It was, in fact, quite old. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything happening in your neighbor's room. The bed itself was comfortable, though the bedding seemed quite ancient. The towels definitely need to be restocked as they were very stiff from having been washed repeatedly. There's no safe for your belongings, and you have to leave your key with the front desk when you leave.

The people who work at the hotel are really nice, and the hotel's proximity to the Metro station is very convenient. Even if you don't want to take the metro, you're about a 20-minute walk to Concorde in one direction and Arc de Triomphe in another.

Convenient location near miromesnil metro station. Typical French style, quite nice. Bathroom was newly refurbished, tiny but decent. Asked for a twin room as I was staying with my 16 year old son but they charged more for this, was told my double room had a large bed anyway...it was a standard double not large in my opinion! Breakfast was served to the room which was a nice touch :) Would defo recommend!

We spent 5 nights at the hotel. The breakfast was very honest with chocolate, bread, croissants, butter and jam. It used to be offered in the bedroom, always on time we choose. The lift is a little bit small and can be kind of claustrophobic: it seemed extracted from the film \"Being John Malkovich\". The bathroom, sometimes, didn't have enough flow. Nevertheless the real problem was the staff: excluding the congenial and friendly lady, the other members were always rude or without patience. The hotel is a good pick if you are looking for good location (very central, near Champs-Elysees, Opèra, Galerie Lafayette, etc), but don´t expect kindness and modern furniture.

Charming property with tons of character. Rooms are a great size and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was great keeping down the costs. Staff was always helpful and friendly making our stay very enjoyable. Will be back if I get the opportunity!

Passable in Paris

All you need for your stay - you don't book a hotel in Paris to stay there all day! Breakfast every morning was a nice touch. Not all the staff spoke English well and we had a hard time with one staff member specifically. Overall: Over-priced but passable.

Budget hotel

Budget hotel for a place like Paris. Free breakfast is just for namesake. You have to submit your room keys at reception before going out. Good Indian restaurant tandoori Punjab nearby.

Ok hotel for the money

I will start with the positives - this hotel has very helpful staff and includes breakfast in the room. The rooms have big windows which let in lots of sunlight. The hotel was clean with a vintage feel to it.

We originally had a reservation for 4 nights at this hotel but ended up only staying for one night and going to a different hotel for a few reasons.

The entry lobby to the hotel is very cramped and has lots of knick knacks in it (which makes it feel a bit more cramped). There is a lift, big enough for 1 person without luggage (or luggage and no people). The rooms are located down very tight hallways (not enough room for 2 people to pass each other with luggage). The hallway lights are on motion sensors, which can be disconcerting at first, as you think that the lights are off (however you just need to walk a bit to set off the sensors and turn on the lights). The walls of the rooms are very thin, which can make for a noisy night. Our bed was a fine size but the mattress wasn't great and had a plastic cover on it, which made lots of noise as we tried to sleep. There were 2 decorative pillows on the bed and one long, very thin pillow, but for all intents and purposes there wasn't a pillow.

Due to a horrible night of sleep, we opted to check out and up our budget for a different hotel for the rest of the stay.
