The room is nice and clean, and they do it everyday. Always have a bottle of water in the room when we come back. The staff are very accommodating and always have a warm gesture. Location is ideal as it is not noisy, but very well surrounded by restaurants, shops and services. It is walking distance to a lot of tourist spots. Including breakfast in the package would have made the stay even better.

This was my favorite hotel. The room, although small, was clean. What made it special was the staff. Rachel was/is the best. I like pastries and Rachel took the time to tell us about some of the top pastry places. Every time we saw her, she made us feel at home. The other staff were great too. The other thing that stood out, was the diversity of the staff. All were great, even the cleaning people. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and again. So glad I picked Hotel Madeleine Haussmann.

We had the smallest room with absolutely no walking space the cups in the room were dirty with prior occupant lipstick things the hairdryer did not work. The hotel does not have a luggage scale walls are very thin. You can hear everybody in the hallway terrible experience.

A little Parisian gem. The property is lovely with such a central location, easy reach of the metro, Louvre and Galleries Lafayette. The air con was very welcome this weekend with temperatures in the 30’s. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

No complaints. Centrally located with access to multiple metro lines. Air conditioning worked well (on a hot week in Paris). Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Beds were comfortable - the entire family slept well. Good value for the price.

I am highly allergic to mold, and when we open the closet, there was mold, covering the bottom of the closet, where the refrigerator sat black mold everywhere and they refuse to give me a refund, but had no other rooms available

I recently stayed at Hôtel Madeleine Haussmann and was thoroughly impressed. The location is superb, nestled in a charming area with easy access to wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby. Despite the central location, the rooms are beautifully soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which allowed me to get some much-needed rest. The staff’s attentiveness, friendliness, and responsiveness made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe and unforgettable experience in Paris.

The property was conveniently located with some wonderful restaurants and shipping nearby. Our room was beautiful and sound proof. They also have the most comfortable beds! Which allowed us to get some needed rest. I loved the attentiveness, friendliness and responsiveness of their staff. Upon coming back from Marseilles we wished to book again but our room of choice was not available so we booked somewhere else which was a grave mistake!
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to have a safe and unforgettable time in Paris

Location can't be beat. Staff very accommodating. Bed and bed linens are GREAT quality. The air conditioning works very well, you can get it like a refrigerator in there if needed (my husband loves a cold room). It's well soundproofed. It's a Paris hotel room so it is small, you need to get creative how to store your clothes and suitcases in the room, it's like a puzzle. One small shelf in the bathroom would be a huge help, no room to put cosmetics. Overall a great stay.

Very small room, though nice bathroom. Building under construction with scaffolding outside window (as of April 2024)-- got notice from hotel to that effect day after check-in. Area near hotel is safe and convenient to tourist attractions but rather dull-- much better to stay in Marais.

Hotel getting work done, so noisy, hotel did inform us of this a wk before they cancel our original room and gave us 2 on same floor but our sons room was very hot and fridge didn’t work to open the window/doors was on a back stair well which lead to the ground. Doors didn’t have a lock so was fully open or completely closed.

Room are very small does not match what’s in the photo. Check in was terrible , had to Waite hours for my room since we got in early after a 7:30 hrs flight , even though it says online there were open available rooms . Location was great close to metro and everything else .

Overpriced hotel with poor structure, extremely hot and not enough space in the wardrobe to hang your clothes. Worst of all wi-fi did not reach my room, so I couldn't work from my room. Also, the description mentions a co-working space and there is none.

Wrong information on Hotels.com and bad experience

Besides the room being tiny (and I stayed in a superior room, which was not the basic), the room was hot, and the window looked at a grotty fire escape stair between the buildings, so I couldn't leave the window open without feeling that someone could be looking or that some pest could get in.

We were two people staying for four nights, and there wasn't enough wardrobe space to fit all the clothes. The frigobar was inside the wardrobe, which would make the whole place even warmer, and inside the frigobar it wasn't cold.

I asked if they could turn the air con on in the room, but they said no. I also asked for an extra key as and my wife and I were in different schedules at night events (there was only one key), and they said no.

But the most annoying thing was that the wifi wasn't working. They managed to fix it on day 2, but in my room (105) the signal wasn't strong enough and kept cutting the whole time, so we had to hire a WeWork space to work from there during the day.

On Hotels.com it says that they have co-working spaces but there is none.

All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! They went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible. Two things to note: there is no on-site laundry, it is a service that sends your clothes out to be laundered. That’s fine but the description made me think there were facilities on site. And two, we asked if we could drop our bags off ahead of time, which we could, but it was essentially just in the lobby. Not a separate secure area. There is someone always at the desk to make sure that no one takes your bags.

This is a fine little hotel in a convenient location. Very (very!) clean, nice sheets and towels, great water pressure and lovely staff. Room was small but quite adequate and the daily bottle of water was a nice touch. The only issue was noise - you can practically hear the person in the next room breathing - and don’t try to sleep past 8:30am! It’s a tiny hotel so the housekeeping cart will be outside your room regardless of the room actually being cleaned. All that said, it was a fine, well-priced hotel for a couple of nights and I would recommend if that’s what you’re looking for.

The rooms were comfortable, not very big but the size differs per room. Bathroom was very small.
Pre-arrival I communicated with the hotel on my preference for a room, away from elevators and a room with much daylight.
Guess what the room was NEXT to the elevator and one tiny window so darker than imaginable.
After requesting a room change I received a better room, away from the elevator, still dark as it was located on the backside, not streetside
The bed was fabulous, we slept really well and because we were on the backside of the hotel it is was very quite

Cosy, quiet hotel near Place Vendôme, Garnier Palace, the shopping malls and many great restaurants. Good to know: tiny elevator for the first six floors, if on the 7th, you need to walk up 1 staircase. Would go back to this hotel anytime.

A perfect place to stay in Paris!

Beautiful boutique hotel on a quiet street in the 8th arr. Cozy room. Perfect for seeing all of the attractions along the Seine from the Eiffel Tour to Notre Dame. The room was a bit warm for sleeping (AC did not cool the space as much as we would have preferred); with this exception, the room, hotel staff, and location met all of our needs and contributed to a wonderful weekend in Paris.

The Madeline Haussmann is an ideal place to stay for a visit to Paris! The location is safe, quiet, and convenient to shopping, restaurants, and sight-seeing. There is a convenient parking garage nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the front desk is staffed 24/7. Our room had a small footprint, but as we were mostly using it for sleeping and showering, that was not an issue at all. Everything was sparkling clean, the linens were great, and the coffee making in the room made decent coffee. Highly recommend this hotel! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I like the location as it is near to whatever I want. However, The room is very small that I hardly have space to put my luggage and other things. The people at the reception and Resto are helpful and accomodating though but the foods for breakdast are just fair enough. Each room maybe 12 sq. m. but this includes the Toilet, bathroom, the cabinet and the small table and chair.

Avoid at all cost room 02. It is not quite a room, it is a service room adjacent to the reception. Very noisy all day and all night. The hotel must be refurnished as acoustic insulation is null. The room smells of cigarette and has no natural light. Not Worth the price charged. The breakfast is very basic, at 08.00am juice was gone, cheese too. Again an underground small room with no windows.

Nice little hotel in great area

Very good location between Madeline and Opéra, close to everything. Beds are very comfortable, room is very small( be careful if you have a lot of luggage, we fit just 2 carry on). Room has Safe deposit box ( which is very important). Breakfast is good( scrambled eggs, juices, cereal, croissants, jam, cheeses, sausages).please note elevator goes to 6 floor so if you are in 7th you will need to walk 1 flight.

Security concerns & very thin walls.

I have no idea why other reviews don't talk about this: you are required to leave your key at the front desk any time you leave the hotel. And all someone has to do to get a room key is walk up to the desk and say a room number. No questions asked, no verification of identity.

The walls are very thin. You can very clearly hear conversations that other guests are having in their rooms. Not to mention all the noise from people passing by on the street. Thankfully we stayed in room 101, which faces an alley, so there was almost no noise from outside the hotel. Overall, we are unlikely to stay here again.
