I booked a room an hour before with a picture of a double bed. When I arrived with my partner the receptionist who was very rude, barely said hello, told us she only had one room left with a twin bed. Of course that wouldn’t work for us, I asked to cancel, she mentioned she couldn’t do anything we had to contact Expedia. Expedia called her and she refused the refund. After confronting her on her lie she had the audacity to tell me she has her problems and I have mine…. OK. Disgusting, the lady should be fired. This is the worst service I’ve ever gotten in Paris.

Family of three, stayed one night for Paris marathon, good location close to Concord and start line for marathon. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The room was modern and tastefully designed. The room was bigger than expected, we were travelling with an 18 month old and the cot was made up in the room ready for our arrival which was very welcome! Nice bathroom and accommodating with our son.

Service Amazing after intial disappoint with room

Arrived late Friday evening, hotel is central near metro and off main street.

Unfortunately the room assigned was not as advertised ( i referrered to it as an attic/broom cupboard) and could not be swapped out as Front Desk is not 24/7

But this is where the hotel really stepped up next day, they made an arrangement for another single room and swapped me with no hassles.
The lady at the front (Christelle) followed up to ensure i was happy and apologized for any inconvenience. I will be back, wonderful place with clean modern rooms

Amazing location within Paris, but lots of flaws inside. Dust all over the rooms. Power went out on me multiple times per hour over a day, and rather than get me a real solution, the only employee there just kept walking up to my floor every time I'd run down and report it chalking it up to \"someone must be using a hairdryer\" despite it happening for 4 hours. You have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave which is fine, but sometimes the employee would be next door eating or the hotel front door may be locked delaying your ability to get in or out. The price was right for me, but I wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Good for a short city break

A great hotel for a short city break in Paris. Couldn’t fault the service & cleanliness from hotel staff. Only downside were that the hotel walls are thin so you can hear neighbouring guests and the pillows weren’t very firm at all. Other than that, we’d stay here again

1 night in Paris

i booked a single room at the very last minute. the room is small but as I am also a small woman, i have no problem with it. i arrived earlier than the check-in time and I am glad that I was accommodated immediately and given a room with a street view, which I love. the lift/elevator is 4/5 steps up, so if you have some heavy luggage be ready to carry it up a bit. I am thankful that I was assisted until the lift.
i enjoyed staying 1 night in this hotel, the bed was comfy and the toilet is really clean. only downside at that time was the a/c was not working even if I turned it on and it only started working around 3/4am, so I was not really able to get sleep much before that. i am also grateful to the lady reception as well as one of the staffs in the hotel who were really helpful during my check-in and check-out (i didnt get their names)

Rooms at £280p/n were broom cupboards
Niot very appropriate when sharing with another male.
On the Expedia site rooms looked fairly big.
Bathroom was just a piece of glass partition.
My wife and i have booked with Expedia for many years.
Lost faith now.. I feel that was conned .
As the saying gies you can only fool some people some of time......
I bet i will not even get a reply..

No surprises!

We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year. The staff is great and there are no disappointments. However, the price for the breakfast has gone up to 15 euros per person -- way too much. Found a nice coffee shop across the street. Less than 10 euros for pastry and coffee for two!

Hotel located in a good area for shopping and eats. 15-20 min walk to The museums. Decent hotel for the price you pay. Bathrooms are small and cramped. The air randomly shut off at night. However I found the beds to be very comfortable. But overall very friendly service and front desk. I would stay here again. Just have your expectations set ahead of time so you can fully enjoy your stay. But also, if you’re going to Paris for the hotel, you’re doing it wrong. The room is small, so go outside and enjoy the city. Then come back at night and sleep. Easy peasy.

A good place to stay.

I have stayed here many times and it is in a good location close to major attractions. Generally the staff is very pleasant, but this time they were a little standoffish. Not quite sure how to put it but they were not as pleasant or helpful as they generally are. Maybe they were having a bad day. The rooms are great and the Le Weekend at the end of the street is a great place to eat.

Location is very very good for shopping and touring around Paris, and the rooms are bigger than the hotels within this price range. We did find that the room furniture and walls (specially the carpets) appeared somewhat old. Staff was very nice and polite. Good breakfast and fast and free wifi

Just an overnight stay in Paris, but this is our favorite hotel. It's conveniently located in the 8th Arr. on a quiet street. The staff is great and the breakfast is very adequate and then some. The hotel is also a short walk to a Metro station.

Hotel Royal Opera

This quaint French hotel is in a great location. It's a short uber ride to all major attractions, and if you like to walk- you can. I walked to the Royal Opera - Opera Garnier- and I also walked in the other direction where the Royal Concord with the Obelisk, Louvre, etc, are located. I walked to the Eiffel Tour and Seine boat cruise to and from the hotel and all around.
The Hotel Royal Opera has a very helpful, friendly and professional staff. You can get your continental breakfast for 10 euro, which is much less expensive than the same breakfast at a café. The hotel has some great restaurants surrounding it, such as Malins British Fish and Chips and Noodle Restaurant where you can watch the chefs make the noodles from scratch. The quality of food is great.
The Hotel Royal Opera is a 3 star hotel, and you can Google the French hotel rating system to read what that entails. If you're looking for a convenient, safe, and smaller European hotel, this fits the bill. Thank you Staff of Hotel Royal Opera for being so congenial and helpful! Merci!!

Very honest review of this hotel.

Although the hotel resides in an unbeatable location, the room looks nothing like the room on the photograph. I believe the staff told me that photo was taken at one room which had been renovated, but the other rooms were not. The condition of the hotel was very very old and needed an upgrade (from hallways to room interiors). the room had a very terrible smell once I entered the room..like a very damp humid smell..so I had to leave the window open at all times to get rid of the smell, but it was -2 at night so I was freezing. The bathroom not only is super tiny even for European bathrooms, but also had a funny smell, and there were cracks on the tiles on the floor. Also, there were what seemed like molds on the floor tiles of the shower, but lucky it was on the side so i try not to move when I shower. All in all, the condition of the hotel was really bad and I would not stay here again. BUT!!! The staff was sooooo friendly!! The night shift gentleman pointed me to many good eats around there, and the lady during the day was so sweet to have helped me with my many luggages~I enjoyed their friendliness a lot!

Visit for the Paris marathon for me, the runner, and my family, the supporters.

We'd do it again.

This was our second stay, the first being 11 months go. The hotel is convenient for our needs in Paris and close to the train station we arrive at. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced and ample breakfast. There was a train strike going on and we feared that we'd not be able to get away from Paris as planned and might need the room for another, non-reserved night. No problem, they said, just let us know as soon as you know. Can't ask for any more than that!

I stayed at the Royal Opera for one night.
The room was small, but clean, modern, and comfortable enough. The Wifi was very fast. The receptionnist was not the friendliest or most efficient, though.
Breakfast was ok, but overpriced at 10€ in my opinion.

It was my second stay in this hotel. The first time it was in 2007. We had a big room and bathroom overlooking the lovely street. and the rate had breakfast, but it was booked through the travel agent. I have to admit my disappointment as the room that we were given this time was so small and overlooking some ugly building. It had double bad, very small bathroom, grayish towels. It should be suitable only for single occupant. Hotel is in need of renovation. Reception staff were friendly and gave us directions. The location of this hotel is great . We walked everywhere . Metro station is around the corner, close to department stores and many cafes.

Inizialmente avevamo ricevuto una camera un po’ fatiscente, che non rispecchiava minimamente le foto sul sito. Quindi siamo subito andati ad esporre il problema e in reception si sono dimostrati super disponibili, cambiandoci la camera in poco tempo.
La camera ricevuta era molto più grande e spaziosa, completamente un’altra storia. Per il resto la posizione fantastica, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci sono ben tre metro che puoi raggiungere in 2/3min, un sacco di localini e ristoranti subito sotto l’hotel e più in generale molta attività nei dintorni. Consigliato!!

Excellent accueil au petit déjeuner qui est sympathique mais cher pour ce qui est proposé (21€).
Chambre plutôt exiguë et salle d’eau particulièrement petite.
Ménage pas fait en hauteur, traces de rouille sur les bords des vitres en fer , calcaire hyper présent sur mobilier de douche et douchette. Wc collé à la vasque de la salle d’eau très peu pratique pour les grands …

Mon séjour est donc mitigé…
J’ai déjà bénéficié de bien mieux dans le même quartier aussi bien termes de qualité que de tarifs.
Mais gros plus pour le serveur adorable du petit déjeuner !

Sehr coole Lage! Umgeben von ÖV-Stationen und diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten in direkter Laufnähe.
Die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht und die Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen - Preis/Leistung ist wirklich top!
Das Frühstück ist ok - ich persönlich würde bei einem weiteren Besuch in einem der unzähligen Café's oder Boulangerien frühstücken.

Schlimmstes Hotel indem ich jemals in Paris war! Zimmer (63) alt und abgeranzt. Badezimmer, eher Nasszelle: Toilette und Waschbecken kollidieren miteinander, so das man nur schräg (und eingepfercht) auf dem Klo sitzen kann. Es sieht nicht so aus wie auf den Bildern (auf Hochglanz überarbeitet).
Absolut hellhörig. Mitten in der Nacht kamen andere Gäste in ihr Zimmer: ich bin aus dem Schlaf aufgeschreckt weil ich dachte, jetzt kommt jemand in unser Zimmer! Und ich bin wirklich nicht empfindlich.
Check-in: wir waren bereits gegen 13:00 Uhr da und direkt kam die Aussage „ins Zimmer können Sie noch nicht“. Uns war bewusst, dass der Check-in um 15:00 Uhr ist, uns ging es nur darum das Gepäck schon mal abzustellen. War dann auch möglich.
Auch hat uns gar nicht gefallen, dass man immer den Zimmerschlüssel abgeben muss, wenn man das Hotel verlässt.
Frühstück: war in Ordnung. Kleine Auswahl aber ausreichend für eine Stärkung in den Tag.
Personal eher unfreundlich.
Check-out: Wir wollten unser Gepäck noch abstellen, weil der Zug erst nachmittags abfuhr. Das war aber nicht möglich, weil kein Platz mehr war! Bzw. hätten wir es in der „Lobby“ im Flur abstellen dürfen. Das haben wir aber nicht gemacht weil uns das zu unsicher war.
Positiv anführen möchte ich die Lage: in diesem Arrondissement waren wir schon öfters und es ist eine sehr gute Ausgangslage um Paris zu erkunden (das hat nur nichts mit der Ausstattung des Hotels zu tun). Viel zu teuer!

パリならではの建物ではありますが、内装は最近リフォームされたようでとても綺麗で快適でした。立地もよく出掛けるのも便利で、ホテルスタッフのみなさんはとても親切でした。また機会があればぜひ利用したいと思います。

Udmærket hotel men !!!

Hotellet ligger centralt men er noget slidt. Personalet er venlige og hjælpsomme. Desværre er rengøringen så dårligt planlagt at det er nødvendigt at være ude af værelset fra tidlig morgen til sen eftermiddag for at være sikker på at værelset er gjort rent.
Desuden fandt vi krybende insekter på værelset.

Both on day 1 and day 2 a cleaner (different ones) opened the door to my room without knocking, stepping right in, then seeing me there and getting out. I could have been naked or sleeping. I filed a written complaint with the reception. Otherwise the staff was very kind and helpful.

ルーブル近くの3つ星ホテル

ルーブル美術館から歩いて15分ほどなので行かれる方はとても便利です。受付の方は親切でお部屋のチェックインも適宜午前中でも行ってくれます。辺りにはブラッスリーが多いので(少し高めですが)ご飯にも不便しないと思います。
お部屋も綺麗で、掃除も行き届いてました。
ただ、部屋の凹みが時々あり、仕方ないのかなと思いました。
禁煙のお部屋でしたが(おそらくホテル全体が禁煙)全くタバコの感じはしませんでした。

飯店地點非常好，離百貨公司很近，飯店對面有中式麵食館(熱湯麵)，飯店巷口旁邊還有服飾店COS，喜歡COS的人剛好可以方便購物

Die Zimmer sind klein und süss. Jedoch nicht wirklich sauber geputzt. Im Bad hatte es keine möglichkeit abzudunkeln und es war deswegen hell
im zimmer. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht freundlich bei ankunft. Man hat uns nicht gesagt das wir das frühstück inbegriffen hätten.
Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig.
Alles in allem, naja..

パリでは、三ツ星でも、ポットや冷蔵庫が部屋にはいのが常識のようです。ここは、ポットはないのですが、冷蔵庫は(冷えは良くなく
、冷凍室はない)あったので、良い方だとおもか。フロントの方が、英語で会話でき、親切です。マドレーヌ駅は、オペラ地区やサンラザールに近く、街並も、おしゃれで、庶民的で、治安もよく女性のひとり旅でも、安心して宿泊できました。

깔끔하고 위치 좋고 친절하나 구두쇠 같은 호텔

아주 깔끔하고 지하철 종류로 여러개 다니는 정말 위치와 청결이 좋은 호텔이었어요! 방이 크지는 않지만 저와 친구에게 충분했고 침대로 편안해서 너무 좋았어요
하지만 방음이 제대로 되지 않아 옆 방에서 들어오고 나가고 혹은 드라이기 소리가 들려서 가끔 놀라곤했습니다ㅜ ㅜ
그리고 어메니티를 너무 아끼셔서 샴푸가 조금이라도 남으면 전혀 갈아주지 않거나 없는데도 안줘서 있는 샴푸 털어서 머리를 애매하게 감고는 했습니다...
그래도 보통을 준 이유는 항상 24시간 키운터에 사람이 있으며 밤에 일하시는 분이 매우 친절하셔서 입니다. 샴푸만 제대로 준다는 전제 아래 다음에 또 묶을 의사 있습니다

매우 만족 하는 호텔입니다.

굉장히 마음에 들고 조용했습니다. 저는 5층을 썼었는데 아침마다 창문 열어서 보이는 밖이 너무 이뻤습니다 프론트도 너무 친절 하셨고 집옆에 마트도 있고 마트아저씨도 친절하십니다. 주변음식점도 많고 가까이 환승 지하철 버스도 많습니다. 마들렌성당은 매일 시간맞춰서 미사도 참관햇엇어요 매우 만족합니다.

とても清潔で心地良く過ごせました！
メトロも周辺に沢山あり、行動しやすかったです。
デメリットは壁が薄いのか、隣の部屋の音が少し気になったくらいです。

フロントの人もとても優しく、良いホテルです。

It was nice and well located. The room lacked several things like a full length mirror, a safe, and the thing you hang in your door when you dont want to be disturbed or want cleaning service. The bed was very comfortable and the design of the hotel is nice. It wasn’t as clean as I expected and I think the staff could be a little bit more welcoming. But for the price, it was an amazing stay.

Prima hotel op perfecte locatie

Prima hotel in het 8e arrondissement. Veel horeca in de buurt.
Metro (Madeleine) op 2 minuten lopen.
De kamers zijn compact, heel sfeervol en modern ingericht.
Badkamer was aan de kleine kant (je kunt op het toilet nauwelijks zitten)
