Good location and comfortable stay. Convenient and walkable to many central locations of interest, as well as the Roissy Bus from Opera just a few minutes walk.

The hotel staff are very friendly and you can reserve the sauna for private use, which is a real plus.

Very convenient with bus and subway minutes away. Felt safe walking at night, very close to shopping including designer stores. Great Vietnamese restaurant downstairs, and a awesome Chinese noodle place around the corner. Walkable to the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower. Our family of 4 had 2 adjacent rooms with extra door for privacy which is nice. The rooms are very clean. Very quiet. The receptionists were very friendly and spoke good English. The only thing that bothered us was the receptionist confirmed us that the breakfast was included in our room after asking multiple times so we went for breakfast almost every day. Then on the last day they showed us the bill and it had $360 on breakfast. They charged 88 Euros each time we had breakfast. What a shock!! I wouldn't think it's an issue with English or communication because they all speak English very well. I was misinformed either purposely or mistakenly. We would not eat breakfast there if we knew it costs us extra money. To be honest, the breakfast was ok but not great, definitely not worth the money they charged. We could get a nice breakfast for half the price steps away at any cafe! No wonder almost no one other than us was having breakfast there on the days we went! So make sure what your bookings include and stay away from their lame breakfast. For this reason, I would not stay there again.

The property was beautiful and our room was spacious for Paris standards. We particularly enjoyed the huge rainforest shower head and handheld option, as well as the towel warmer. One suggestion would be to get slightly larger nightstands with a drawer or shelf or some storage.

My wife and I stayed in Le Relais Madeleine for five nights in April 2024. We absolutely loved this wonderful Hotel! Everything was perfect, from the beautiful room, to the wonderful Staff, fantastic breakfast with fresh ingredients, and the location. We will always check this Hotel first when we visit Paris.

This is a little gem of a hotel! There’s no grand entrance, but filled with charm once inside. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed was wonderful with luxurious linens. The bathroom was a good size, with nice towels and amenities. The only thing I would change is the black shower head - it was a weird weak spray and difficult to get the shampoo out of my hair. Other than that everything was perfect!

once we decided which area of Paris we wanted to stay in, we went online and picked a hotel with a 4 or 5 star rating. We chose the Le Relais Madeleine. It was a blind choice, but we really picked a winner.
The staff - every one- over our 10 day staw were FANTASTIC!! Our room was quiet, clean adequate size and well updated.
We definitely will stay here again when we go to Paris in the future.

The staff were exceptional —very friendly, helped us with many of our travel plans of the city. The hotel was conveniently located. Easy to get to the metro. Nice restaurants in close proximity. The food at breakfast was very good. would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant property with reasonably large rooms good location, froendly staff and comfortable bed. . My only real complaint was the shower which was small fir a bigger guy amd had a half-glass panel that makes potent floor flooding possible. It is a mist spray shower which takes some getting used to. It would also be nice to have complimentary bottled water in the room, especially at check in. We didnt donthe breakfast which looked fairky standard for $20. We preferred to try the myriad local cafes.

Le Relais Madeleine is in a fantastic location, easy to walk to Opera, Place de la Concorde, metro's, buses, main shopping streets and restaurants. The room was small but very clean, comfortable and stylish. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included lots of fresh options the only downside was the breakfast room was in the basement - so it felt a bit dark and cramped, however the rest of the hotel was perfect and typically Parisian. Top marks for the location and front of house staff.

Good service; convenient location.

This was my ideal hotel: convenient, clean and comfortable, but also unpretentious with good service. One of the concierges was very helpful when I discovered I had come to Paris from London without the right adapter. Another one commiserated when I recounted how I had been ripped off by a cabbie upon arrival at the Gare du Nord. This hotel helped me stay in a good mood when the strikers and train delays conspired to sabotage my two day visit to Paris. I will return for a longer stay.

Elevator down for several days - no information

The elevator in the property was undergoing replacement/long term repair and this was not informed to us when we booked or anytime between booking and checking-in. We were told at 11pm when checking-in. When asked if we could have a lower floor, the request was declined and we were assigned a room on the 4th floor. The person checking us in said he was a temp and I should speak to the management in the morning. He offered to help carry any \"one\" of our three bags to the room. We were left to carry 2 bags up 4 floors.

The next morning, when I brought it up with the front desk, they flatly refused to compensate us in any way other than to help with all our bags upon check-out. They said they had put this information up on hotels.com 2 months prior to our check-in. This was obviously much after we had booked the hotel. Other than the lack of pro-active communication, they didn't mention it to me when I called them a couple of days prior to our arrival to let them know we'd be arriving late. Including breakfast or at least a bottle of wine would have gone a long way to show empathy for the situation.

I've stayed at the hotel in the past, but this will definitely be our last visit here. We felt cheated as they withheld information about the elevator and refused to take responsibility for it.

Brilliant find in the heart ofParis

Perfect location in a quiet side street off Place de la Madeleine the hotel and ALL its staff oozed discrete charm from first to last. One minor deficiency (a non slip bath mat) was instantly rectified with good grace - a real mark of good customer service!
Easy access on foot to many of the big attractions, restaurants and retail outlets as well as transport to/from the airport.
We look forward to returning soon!

Well located, with a characteristic Parisienne feel. Due to the architectural layout , the rooms can be noisy with internal courtyards echoing the sound made by other guests, but a very effective air conditioning means it is comfortable to sleep with the windows closed, addressing the problem.

Significant security issue

There were the significant security issues on this hotel. There was the clear evidence that someone came to our room and opened the suitcase when we were out. Although the issue was reported to the reception and they promised that they would keep us updated after investigation, we have never heard anything from the hotel at all. It is very disappointed.

A nice home away from home.

Wonderful little hotel in a perfect location near Opera, Madeleine and the big department stores but in a very quiet street. The staff at front desk is extremely helpful and ready to help. My suitcase was late and they sent me an email as soon as it reached the hotel the following day. I highly recommend this hotel. Nice clean rooms with Nespresso coffee machine. I will come again.

Great location friendly staff however felt they could have organised things better in regards to use/access to sauna as was told ok to use in second morning, booked a time then told not available three times after that. When told it would be available after 10am was in fact not available to use at all. Difficult to plan your day/evening when you time in a sauna only to find it not available for use. Unfortunately getting access to sauna was not possible for majority of stay due to not being cleaned. Is a pity as hotel having sauna was reason why we choose to book hotel for 3 nights to aid husbands sore back.

Nice petit hotel in great location

Although small but very comfortable and nicely decorated room. Great location. Close to Eglise Madeleine, only 3 minutes away from metro line 8,12,14.
Hotel staffs are very kind and helpful plus give you a big hearty smile all the time.
The cleanliness of the room could be better. There were quite a bit of dust on the bedside table, but this is very minor.
We like this hotel very much and definitely would go back next time.

Amazing Hotel near Le Madeleine

What a joy it was to stay here. The rooms were comfortable and inviting. The staff was beyond wonderful and super helpful in recommending routes and places to see and restaurants. The proximity of the hotel to everything one needs to see in Paris was a treat. The Metro is within a couple of blocks and restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance -- at the most one or two blocks. Loved this place.

Boutique hotel with okay service

Staff were friendly but service was okay. There was only one maid and she was kind of rude. She didn't really say hello and was not friendly. Other Staff are nice but not so helpful. Area is okay, not super nice and has some adult stores nearby but not so dangerous. Close to madeleine station.
They provided slippers bathrobes lotion which was nice but breakfast was okay, eggs were cold and the maid took away the food before 10:30. Croissant was good. Very basic food nothing special.

Positives:
1) Great location - bars/restaurants/shops/tourist sites/metro station all a short walk away
2) Decent free WiFi
3) Comfortable bed
4) Front desk very responsive to queries regarding food/transport/sites/etc
5) All the front desk members spoke fluent english

Negatives:
1) Poor house keeping - tea bags/milk powder not replenished on 2 occasions, bathroom toiletries (esp the moisturiser/cream) not replenished on multiple occasions, received a 50cl bottle of water when we checked in but not on subsequent days, found dust in corners and less used areas of the room.
2) The room size was adequate by Paris standards but not sure it was 238q ft as advertised.
3) The room layout with a separate room for the WC and a separate room for the showers and sink a little awkward.

However, given the price and location, I might consider it on a future stay

Great location, minutes of walk to Louvre, Musee d'orsay, Musee l'orange, shopping district etc.

Rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed, shower and bath facilities are all very clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, I had to wait for a long time for checking out because there was a queue but staff did their best to accommodate and even gave me a drink so I could sit down and drink while waiting. Quite thoughtful and good customer service overall.

Although in the heart of Paris, the Hotel gives a warm cozy feeling and is very neat. The little basement restaurant is very cool and authentic, do give it a try if you are feeling lazy of wandering out for food.

Charming hotel in an excellent central location

The hotel is a stone's throw from Place de la Madeleine. It is a small boutique hotel that has been recently renovated to a high standard of decoration and the rooms were a good size - there was plenty of space to walk around in the room (sometimes the bed fills the entire space but this wasn't the case). The bathrooms were compact but well appointed and the toilet was separate though you had to go through the bathroom to get to it. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a good breakfast both mornings - with a good selection of fresh fruit salad, cold meats, cheese, eggs, yoghurt and delicious mini pain au chocolats and croissants. If street noise bothers you at night and early morning - ask for a room that does not overlook the street if you like to sleep with the window open! It was a little noisy but not a huge issue for us.

We felt very lucky in finding the Relais Madeleine

We found the Relais Madeleine to be comfortable, the staff incredibly kind and helpful with our I phones' adjustments to European perimeters, and the location convenient for our purposes. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone needing to be in the area of the Garnier and the Madeleine. It was central to both landmarks, and convenient to the Metro. In short, we considered ourselves most fortunate in finding the Relais Madeleine.

the staff was quite attentive and spoke english well. we recieved excellent recommendation for a nearby restaurant, selected by our preferences, other than the highly rated and recognized places withing walking distance. we arrived a bit early for checking in, but our room was ready as scheduled.
they placed incoming calls promptly and announced visitors without delay.

only one comment for an unusual practice: bed had no top sheet. the eredon was it. not used to that.

we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back there in our next visit and will recommend it without reservations.

I've stayed in several areas of Paris in the past and in 3 - 5 star hotels for work and for personal travel so I know what's out there. I was hugely impressed by this this hotel's attention to detail and staff friendliness. I was in town for a ballet at the Garnier and some shopping and couldn't have picked a better spot.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were particularly helpful and gave excellent advice on all sorts of things. The room was very pleasant; can't find fault with the hotel. The street wasn't perhaps the nicest we've stayed in but the location was great- right near the metro, very short walk to Roissy bus to get back to CDG airport and an easy walk to many of the attractions and some lovely dinner places. Overall, a winner!

Lovely hotel, but no kitchen

Having no kitchen lets this hotel down. Lovely hotel but limited room service and breakfast choices. A shame as I was away on business and needed to work and could not go out for dinner.

Highly recommend!

The newly decorated rooms were spotless and comfortable! The staff were all friendly and spoke English perfectly. It was a perfect stay in the middle of an exciting neighborhood.

Lovely boutique hotel

Lovely little hotel on a quiet street. Good service. English speaking friendly staff. Allowed me to check in 2 hrs early. Helpful with directions. Conveniently located for Galaries Lafayette, Printemps. Not far to get to Concorde as well on foot. All in all a very pleasant hotel. I would use it again

Wonderful stay

Check in was very simple. The hotel was elegant. It was very quiet and well maintained. It was in a very nice part in Paris!
