The staff cannot do enough for you. They’re fluent in several languages, and will gladly do anything they can to help. For example, I
Lost my eyeglasses at the ballet, and Antoine called the theatre, tracked down lost and found, and located my glasses for me. We needed a shoe repair shop, and again, front desk staff helped out by finding one for us. The hallmark of this hotel is outstanding and friendly staff.

Entrance to the hotel is through a filthy corridor, then an unkept Garden area which is in need of repair and cleaning.
The reception stuff is rude as well as uniform in series in need of dry cleaning, the presentation does not be fit a four star hotel.
The room has got scuffs and scratches on every single wall, management should inspect the condition of the rooms on a more regular basis.
Unless this issues are addressed, I would not recommend anyone to stay there considering the rate that they charge for hotel which would not in my opinion be above two stars.
I travel extensively through the year and it would be one of the worst condition Hotels I’ve ever seen

We enjoyed staying at this property and really liked our room and the staff. We had everything we needed with an extra bed for our daughter, and the kitchenette was wonderful. Nice to have an extra sink and the refrigerator. The exterior of the property before you walk into the main entrance needs a lot of cleaning and updating. It didn't look like anyone had made any effort to make it look nice for guests, but the interior was very nice.

Lovely staff, well equipped room. Nice to have the option of specific housekeeping - we just wanted the bins emptied but didn't want to waste towels etc. Very quiet room too, even though it was on the ground floor. We had concerns about the basement nightclub a few floors below but you would never know it was there! Would definitely stay again. Location was fantastic.

Staff were exceptional with our early arrival and help to get around. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bedrooms and it also had a lounge downstairs with fold out couch. There was a lounge room and a kitchen water was provided
Balcony was beautiful to get a quiet moment
Property is ina. Great space to walk everywhere. Our party was 2 adults and 4 children (14,13,10,4) the stairs were sometimes challenging but we made it work. The bottom lounge was downstairs and did provide our eldest with some privacy we left our luggage down there to avoid carrying upstairs.

Fantastic Family Friendly Stay

Spent 5 days in London, then arrived in Paris to stay here for 2.5 days. Fantastic apartment property for a family of 6 (2 parents) and 4 boys. Two bedrooms and a pullout couch full kitchen, excellent condition. Check in was easy and very friendly, even walked us to our apartment to make sure we were happy. Quiet location one block from Palais Garnier, excellent location right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in Paris. Front desk always staffed. Would quickly stay here again with a large family group if the opportunity arises.

You will love this hotel. We reserved the two bedroom suite and it was a two level room with a separate sitting room on the main floor with the bedrooms, kitchen & deck on the 2nd floor. The rooms were nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed! The location is great within walking distance to a few shopping areas, restaurants, cafes & tourists sites. The entrance is on a side street near a few bars but we did not hear any noise from them. We enjoyed our stay there!

This is the perfect location when you're in Paris.
We walked everywhere and you're literally in the heart of Paris.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception team is very nice and helpful. The hotel doesn't really have any amenities as lounge, gym, etc but when you're in this location you need nothing else.
We will be definitely back when we next visit Paris.

Secret Garden in Paris

This wonderful place, hidden behind a nearly unmarked door, is a find! We had an uber-gigantic room -- not just by Paris standards. Nice bathroom, great big bed, separate living room with sofa and two sitting chairs, kitchenette. All looking onto a nice garden space with minimal street sounds. Front Desk was always super friendly and very helpful. Shopping, restaurants and metro all within blocks. A real find -- don't tell anyone.

Our room was very very nice. We also had a terrace but the weather was too cold to enjoy it. The bed was comfortable and the room was very modern. Location was central to the Louvre and gardens. The Hop On Hop off bus was also nearby.

Picked Le Rayz Vendôme primarily because of location, amenities and good review - and it met all our expectations. New/Modern surrounded by historical buildings. Clean and spacious room with extra big super comfortable bed with very fluffy comforter (Tempting to stay in too long). Lots of hot water, kitchen amenities and high end coffee/expresso maker. Perfectly situated. Walk to all the luxury flagship stores, Louvre, Notre Dame, Gallaries Lafayette, Montmatre etc. Super helpful front desk team

PS: No laundry facility on site, which Expedia has failed to update. Not showing on hotel site or other booking sites.

We were able to get a great discount on the app, and amazingly surprised at the unit we were given! This is was a lovely block of apartments with a kitchenette included in the room. The staff were amazing and helped with recommendations for places to go and advice on transport. Room was always cleaned and fresh towels left for use every day. There was however, a night club next to the block but this had little impact on our stay. This is only mentioned because some people may find this annoying during a stay. Overall, it was excellent stay, highly recommend it.

We didn’t sleep the first night due to a very hot room set at 81 and however we lower down the temp, aircon not working. Got transferred to another room which was also so hot. We were perspiring. Pls think twice and ask details for check in ( very difficult if arriving after their office hours). Pls ask every detail before staying.

The lovely room and bathroom were unfortunately spoilt by the heavily cracked glass table, cracked basin and toilet roll holder hanging off the wall.
Our first morning, whilst my husband was showering the bathroom flooded into the bedroom. Fortunately I was in the room, grabbed towels to stem the flow. Needed more towels, quickly dressed to go to reception for help (no phone in room), en route to lift found a towel cupboard. The shower cubicle was flushed with the bathroom floor therefore the water seeped beneath the shower door. Reception said they’d look at the problem but the only solution was to leave us with a stack of towels so each day we placed a towel defense by the shower door. If alone this wouldn’t have been possible. We did not receive an apology. Otherwise this would have been a delightful hotel. Great position. If the flooding problem is sorted we would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is just wonderful. Very clean, quiet, modern and 'bougie\". There is also the most adorable kitty-cat to welcome you! They were very kind, helpful, spoke wonderful English, and helped us with our bags both arriving and departing.
We did order the Continental breakfast and while a fun treat, and on cute trays delivered each morning, it was a bit overpriced we felt and there wasn't the ability to mix the items.

The location was amazing. About 10 minute walk to The Louve museum. The airport bus stops in Opera and around 6 mins to this hotel. The down side, area was regenerating so lots of building work. The hand wash was empty upon arrival, the toilet basin wasn’t cleaned to high standards. It was brown! The room was good size for 3 people.

Had a lovely time at Rayz, the beds were comfortable, the room was large. Loved the location- accessible to metro/bus or walking distance to a lot of the things I wanted to see/do. El apartamento amplio, limpio y la ubicación excelente. Teníamos la reservación para 4 mujeres, llegamos un lunes a las 3:00 am, nosotras nos sabíamos que compartían la entrada con una discoteca. Nos sentimos inseguras, porque la foto que tienen del hotel no coincide con la entrada. Pero el taxista consultó al personal de seguridad que había de la discoteca y ellos nos confirmaron que era la misma entrada. El apartamento y la ubicación excelentes.

this is a modern, very tastefully made small hotel with every comfort you might wish for when in Paris. unlike small walk ups in old buildings with no AC this place gives the tourists the accommodations where you can feel like you are in a comfy studio apartment. it was 3 of us and we did not feel cramped in a small room with no place to put our belongings. we included breakfast in our stay and those fresh baguettes and croissants were to die for every morning fresh and warm! it’s not a 5 star plaza but if you want something clean, somewhat spacious and in the center this is the hotel for you. and don’t forget the staff that is helpful, polite and happy to see you. amazing cleaning staff. can’t be happier with our stay…

Pros: Hotel was well-situated and the staff was extremely friendly. We had a good sized room and the pastries for breakfast were delicious!

This was our second stay at Rayz Vendome. The first was when I was pregnant and we returned now that my son is 6yo for his first visit to Paris. It was just as good this time as it was back in 2016. The location is ideal for those that like to do luxury shopping, the rooms are spacious and clean (comparatively to other hotels we've stayed in Paris), and the breakfast is excellent. I look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

Likes: great apartment setting for my sisters and I. Nice to have a kitchen/living/balcony to hang around, without having to crowd into someone's room. Great location - 5-10 minutes walk to all the shopping. Local markets on every corner for all your snacking and drinking needs. Front desk is very responsive and accommodating.

Dislikes: carpet needs to be cleaned - very strong odor once you get in the door of the apartment. Motion-activated lights in the hallway are not sensitive enough - pitch black when the elevator doors open, and you have to be standing within the hallway before they turn on - unsafe feeling.

Le Rayz is a charming property with an Art Deco vibe. It's located on a short, quiet street (Rue Daunou) that offers easy walking access to the Metro station, shops, and cafes on Ave de l'Opera. It's less than a mile from the Louvre. Our only recommended improvement (room 25 on the 2nd floor) is the addition of a window treatment on the kitchen window that would allow for total blackout conditions in the room at night, which is most noticeable at sunrise.

Hotel is relatively new and in a great location. Biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning in the hot room. They did their best by putting in a portable unit, but it was very noisy and you had to open a window for the exhaust pipe, which sort if defeated the intention, as hot air came in through the open window.
On arrival, there was no one at the reception desk and no bell or buzzer. We sat there for 10 minutes unable to contact anyone. The shower is tiny and our shower door didn’t close properly, resulting in the bathroom flooding every time we had a shower.
On the plus side, the rooms are big, there’s a small kitchen, free wifi, very comfortable bed and a nice view into a garden.

We were charged extra fees and the property was listed at a higher price on VRBO than other sites. Be aware they are listing this property on multiple websites and cancel the \"cheaper\" rentals. They said their appartments/suites had air conditioning.... Complete lie! They only have few portable units and not for every client. The suite needs maintenance and it looks like the owner doesn't care. It's unfortunate because the location is awesome; in our favorite \"arrondissement\" close to Opera, Rivoli and easy access via \"metro\". We tried on couple occasions to ask the receptionist to reach the manager/owner... she said she can call her. We tried via the VRBO app.... nobody ever answered our messages. They charged the big $$$ and don't provide what the listing said it is.... STAY AWAY!

A lovely stay in the heart of Paris

We came for a wedding that was taking place in the Opera area. The hotel was right there. Everything we needed was nearby. And we slept soundly because the hotel is in a quiet courtyard.
