Unfortunately, my stay at Hôtel Mansart was significantly impacted by persistent noise disruptions that resulted in a lack of sleep throughout my visit. The noise began on my first night and continued for the duration of my stay, consisting of what sounded like furniture being moved and heavy objects rolling across the floor above my room.

I requested a room change, but the hotel was unable to accommodate this. While staff did make attempts to address the issue, these efforts were unsuccessful, and the explanation provided was speculative, suggesting the noise may have originated from nearby restaurants. In addition, the room’s thin walls and doors offered little sound insulation, making hallway noise in the mornings clearly audible.

During my stay, I also experienced unexplained physical discomfort. I noticed itching on my ankles and feet at night, and on the second morning I awoke with three large, itchy bumps on my shoulder, the origin of which remains unknown. This was both concerning and unpleasant, and further detracted from my sense of comfort in the room.

While the hotel is centrally located near many attractions, this is also true of numerous other hotels in Paris. Overall, given the sleep disruption and comfort issues, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff were all great, friendly and amenable but the hotel desperately needs refurbishment. The room was very disappointing with a grubby bathroom, despite upgrading to a superior room. We found a previous guest’s clothing and underwear in a drawer, the towels were removed and not replaced and elevator was out of action, so had to carry our cases 5 floors down. Great location though.

Great location shame about the hotel

Prior to my arrival the hotel ask me to check in online a choose what type of accommodation I’d like . I choose a high floor with bath and a city view. I got a first floor room with ensuite shower and a internal court yard view. The carpet on the stairs is thread-bare and there were holes in my bedroom carpet. The hot water was not working properly-ie luke warm for the last 24hrs uncomfortable to a shower in . When I said it to the receptionist she just said oh sorry!

Beautiful Hotel in Paris

This is an adorable hotel quaint with easy access to other areas. The room is quite spacious and the bed is comfortable. The pillows were okay but a little lumpy. The television is small compared to other places I've stayed and the channel selection seems very limited for an international hotel. The rooms are quiet and the staff are excellent and very friendly.

We Liked Hôtel Mansart when we stayed there a few years ago. This time (July 13 - July17, 2025) we found the bathroom not ready when we checked in and during the subsequent days. Examples: On our arrival, the Shower floor was very slippery without a non-slip pad, the body-soap bottle was almost empty, I was not supplied with bathroom slippers, and the spare toilet paper roll was not replaced during next morning's cleaning. (I had to make 3 separate phone calls to get this corrected.) Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was as sumptuous as we loved it a few years ago.

HORRIFIC OLD Smelly AWFUL property; AVOID

This hotel is so OLD it doesn't even have an elevator to upper floor. The stairs SMELL, the carpet is torn up. The bathroom is NOT ensuite; its a 19th century add-on with idiotic slippery tiles up to an open shower/bath that has NO door, so it floods the entire bathroom. I slipped & BROKE MY PELVIS & these idiots wanted to charge for an extra night! Their room phones do NOT work so I couldn't call for help! APPALLING experience, this place is disgusting & should be shut down as a serious safety hazard.

This is a great hotel surrounded by high end shopping and delicious restaurants and it’s only a short walk to the Louvre, the Tulieres Gardens, and several subway stations. It is in a safe, easily walkable, and family friendly neighborhood that my family and I enjoyed exploring.

This hotel was recommended by a Parisian we know in the States. We loved the size of the junior room, we included breakfast daily which was delicious & convenient. It was a great location & quiet & gave us the ability to walk to lots of the sights. We were also near subway lines that were safe and convenient. Great staff support & help! Loved the historic room & terrace, but the closet was foul, the elevator broke on our second day until our last & we were on the 5th floor, and we were very upset that our supposed “ included breakfast” ended-up as 44 euro per day! That was a total (checkout) scam. Booked through Expedia. Have since traveled with historic hotels to Venice, Florence & Rome. This Paris hotel was a let-down though the private terrace was lovely.

Our stay was horrible.
First the air conditioning in the room didn't work, but this was manageable given the weather in Paris.

What was disastrous was that my wife and I were stuck in the elevator for over 25 minutes and the only solution the hotel staff could offer was \"we'll call a technician\" if it hadn't been for the fact that we pushed the elevator door and it miraculously opened we would have stayed there. However, the elevator didn't work for 3 days and both me and my wife had to go up and down 6 floors of stairs every time we wanted to look at our room. The hotel's solution was a simple \"I'm sorry.\"

The Mansart is ideally placed for a stay in the Opera district being within three blocks of the Opera House and about the same distance from the Seine. This is an old but very well maintained property. The cost room is perfect for one, or for two if they like each other. The staff, especially Sanjay, were helpful and engaging. The front desk was very helpful in mailing a package back to me of gifts that I had left at a nearby restaurant - thank you! The only complaint I have is that the floors in the bathroom are slippery when they become wet from the open shower. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Loved our stay they helped us alot with getting a cab to the airport, pointed to us to using the guest PC to check in our flight. Staff very attentive and avoided using the only elevator when guests wanted to use it. Small things like that are noticed. Super convenient and central to many landmarks.

My family stayed in the deluxe family suite with connecting room. Each suite had its own bathroom. It was quite spacious and decorated in old vintage style which we appreciated as it felt very European. While some have called the decor tired and needing updating we thought it added to the charm of the place.

The bathrooms were adequate but could use some better design additions such as shampoo bottle holders in the shower. They were just propped on a safety bar and tended to fall often while in the shower. One of the bathrooms had no toilet paper holder.

However these were minor inconveniences and overall the hotel itself is in a good location with bakeries, cafe and restaurants annd subway trains all close by.

I do note that there are a couple of bars just below and across from the hotel so you do get some late night noise from these bars. But we were so exhausted from our sightseeing that this did not bother us.

The staff were always helpful and assisted with directions and recommendations for restaurants. At checkout we were pressed for time and did not have time for any breakfast. I mentioned this and asked whether we could purchase a couple of croissants and the Asian lady from Bangkok (I have forgotten her name - apologies) kindly went to the breakfast room and grabbed a few croissants for us. She was also helpful in arranging taxi pickup to the airport and did her best to help us get to the airport on time. We enjoyed.

All in all a good stay in Paris.

Our stop in Paris was the last of a 17 day vacation. We had been in several hotels in Scotland and London and this hotel, by far, outshone them all! The room was huge, as was the bathroom. My husband is very tall and the fact that the shower head was in the ceiling and had amazing water pressure kept a smile on his face. The staff was so helpful with helping us get around on the metro/buses/trains, that I couldn’t brag enough about them! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Modern building from the outside and reception. Bedroom was vintage, quaint and beautifully decorated. Really comfy bed. Clean bathroom with separate toilet.
Breakfast offered a lot of choice but small room with very close tables. Male staff were helpful but the lady wasn’t. We didn’t want to sit where she wanted us to but after tutting and talking under her breath obliged.
Receptionists were helpful and it was a delight to have a cup of coffee and piece of cake away from the bedroom.

This was a beautiful additon to my vacation and made my whole time in Paris a very memorable happy experience. I've been to Paris quite a lot, but I've never stayed in a hotel as wonderful as the Mansart. The room was gorgeous and well-appointed with high ceilings, beautiful natural light, and amazing decorations; the amenities were extensive and pleasing; and above all, the staff are all so warm, friendly, kind, helpful, professional, and courteous, explaining all their services in clear detail right at check-in and providing help wherever necessary for the rest of our trip. Special shout-out to their concierge service, which went above and beyond to help us not only with restaurant reservations but also with rental car services and more. Thank you, Francesca, Svetlana, Alexandra, and Maria!!!! At any time of day or evening they were around to help us out, always with a smile. I sincerely looked forward to getting back to my room every night so I could relax in pure luxury. This absolutely felt like the royal treatment for a full week. Plus, the location is INCREDIBLE--literally 15 seconds away from Place Vendome, with access to all the shopping, food, and sightseeing we could stand and then some. I can't recommend the Mansart highly enough, and my partner and I would absolutely choose to stay here again on a future trip to Paris.

Romantic Steal in Paris

We had originally booked a different hotel that was a nightmare, so this was a place we booked in an emergency. It was absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived. The lobby felt bright and clean, staff was warm and inviting, the room was absolutely stunning! It felt very old-school, romantic, Paris. It had a chandelier, fireplace, balcony, huge modern bathroom… it was everything that we possibly could have asked for in Paris, and the price was except reasonable. We actually had friends staying in a much “fancier” hotel and they tried to cancel that reservation to come stay in this one.

I have just checked out this morning from this lovely boutique hotel after an 8 night stay. As always, it is a beautifully well run establishment that caterers to their guests and makes them feel pampered. The location can't be beat being next to Place de Vendome and all area attractions. It is a quiet hotel and has a wonderful, private feel to it. The breakfast is great and all the staff, from the dining room, bedrooms, and front desk, are top drawer. This is a classic Parisienne hotel with many art deco touches. The roons are beautiful and you won't regret staying here!
