This is a very good place to stay in the centre of Paris. Thank you to all the hotel staff who helped to make our short stay very relaxed and hassle free. Our room was very quiet and comfortable and there was a great variety of cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. The area felt safe to walk around in the evening (we had our young grandson with us) and access by walking or metro to the museums, galleries and many other attractions was easy and straightforward. We would be very pleased to stay here again. Thank you.

Great location. Room was very very small and mattress was extremely soft and very short for tall people so was not a great sleep.
The breakfast area is small and was not cleared and refreshed promptly after guests left so you would come down later in the morning and most of the tables were unusable and guests had to wait for them to clean and reset the tables.
Great to have the coffee machine available all day.

My wife and I absolutely loved our five day stay Hotel Gramont. Our room was elegantly decorated, and the breakfast each morning was superb. The various staff members were helpful. One of the best aspects, though, was the location. It's a 15-minute walk down to the Seine (near the Louvre) and 15-minutes in the other direction to Montmartre. There is much to see in the immediate area, and many places to dine. In many ways, we felt the location was perfect for visiting Paris.

The location of this property was on a quiet street and yet close to many things to enjoy on foot including the Opera Metro. All of the staff was very kind and spoke English, French to help us practice and other languages. Our VP status entitled us to a complementary bottle of Prosecco all of the reception staff was eager to remind us we had available to us, and when we did decide to enjoy it, it was delivered to us with two champagne flutes immediately. We enjoyed having the balcony. We enjoyed the details from the hotel room, cleaning staff like decorating the tissue paper and placing our makeup items into glasses to organize the sink area The beds & bedsheets were extremely comfortable. Breakfast included hot and cold items and was just right. Umbrellas were offered to us & lots of heating inside. the complementary Lavazza espresso, coffee, latte machine in the Lobby was invaluable and high-quality.
We also had a Nespresso machine in our room and a carafe of filtered water filled daily.
Our two story room had the small lounge/ closet / dressing area downstairs & bedroom, second balcony, shower & WC on upper level.

We had a nice stay. The location was great. They have a nice breakfast each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but nice. My only negative was the fire alarm went off in the morning and it scared us. We hurried to get down the stairs but it was a false alarm. Apparently this is not the first time it happened. I felt like they should have a way of announcing that it was a false alarm before heading down. Even a phone call to the room to help avoid the stress and confusion would have been nice. They didn’t seem very apologetic and it was unnerving being in another country and not knowing what it was.
Other than that incident the staff were great!

Like many rooms in Paris, expect small elevators, cramped rooms. Note if you are staying on the sixth floor be aware a walk up small stairs will be needed to get to the floor from the fifth and to reach your bed at night in room.

Area was very walkable and safe.

For the price was expecting more elbow room.

This is a fantastic hotel that gives you access to all of Paris without the traffic and noise. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and the service is exceptional. I was traveling with my wife and 2 children and we greatly enjoyed the room layout (Junior Suite) and had a wonderful time. I’m very picky about hotels, but I will continue to stay at Hotel Gramont whenever possible when in Paris.

Friendly staff with fantastic service

All the staff were really helpful and internal communication between staff was fantastic. My train tickets were cancelled suddenly by Rail Ninja without any reasons one night before our departure. Staff, a male staff on night shift on 13 Jun 2022 (sorry that i didn't get the name as I was frantically looking for alternatives) was very kind to help me send request to Rail Ninja and advising that I should book with Thalys.

I also left a gift at the reception to hand it to my colleague whom I couldn't meet due to some unforseen circumstances. The next morning when I checked with the reception, the staff were all aware of the gift arrangement. A very cohesive team with good internal communication on guest's needs.

Kudos to all the staff at Gramont Hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Paris next time.

Bad experience they where doing renovations on the building in every floor and had a lot of noise very early in the wall of my room.
The internet only worked well in lobby.
I understand they have to renovate but they should let us know.

A terrible hotel

This hotel is terrible. I booked the a triple room 2 months before the trip and when I arrived at the hotel to check in, the front desk told me the room was under renovation and the hotel was not available. They arranged us to change to another hotel which was totally terrible. The room was very small for three people, the window was broken, the floor was dirty. How can a hotel treat the customers in this way? I will never try this hotel again.

Hotel in excellent location. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is a 3* hotel and was perfect for our needs. We even tried the small Italian restaurant next door - very good homemade pasta. Top of the lane had a clear view to the Sacre Coeur, probably walkable but temperatures in the 30's so took the bus!

A second time around in Paris....and at Gramont!

This has been my second trip to Paris and the second time to this hotel! The staff was wonderful! Just like the first time around. We were welcomed by Souraya and then Seine who gave us plenty of great advice to get around the city. Thank you Souraya and Seine! Damien was a gem who guided us to our visit to Versailles and a “shortcut” into the Louvre. Just like Aurelie did when we first fell in love with Paris... Thanks Damien for the advice! And of course our friend Flor, with whom we’ve met and became acquainted the first time we’ve visited the hotel... Flor is an night owl who has wonderful stories and advice about the beautiful city of Paris... Thank you again Flor for welcoming us back! Hope to see you soon!

Great hotel in a wonderful location!

This hotel is situated near 3 metro stops which makes getting around very easy. Close enough to walk to the Louvre (15 min), etc. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Hotel staff were great! We arrived early in the day from our flight and our room was ready which was so nice! They also kept our bags on the last day so we could see more of Paris until our flight left in evening. The room itself was great! Comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of hotel was really good to take the Paris' public transportation. There are many metro lines and buses that stop near the hotel. Also, airport bus (between CDG and Opera) would be good for people who arr from/to the airport. The staff were kind. The room was large enough. I stayed a small single room but very comfortable bed. Walkable to the city centre, takes 10 to 15 minutes. I walked from the Gare Du Nord to the hotel took me 20 to 25 minutes theat was interesting. The amenities dissapointed me slightly. The kitchen staff offer fried or scrumble eggs as a complimentary menu of the breakfast.depending on your staying plan, you may need to pay. Overall, Good, did serve my needs.

We were put in a room that was on the sidewalk level. The room was musty and the carpet needed to be replaced badly. You couldn't open the window to get fresh air, and if you had the curtains open, everyone walking by could see right in. The staff was nice and we should have requested a different room.

Great choice for family of 4 short trip.

So never have been to Paris before and was going to be a quick family trip. Based on other reviews selected this hotel and upon arriving I couldn't have been happier. The flight from US arrived very early so unbelievably they had my room ready when I got there at 9 am and they let me check in so we could rest. I think I just got lucky but they were very accommodating. I knew then that it was going to be a good hotel. Room was great for family of 4 plenty of room. Room had 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was included and was okay. Location is good walking distance to the Louvre and other sights used cabs for further. If you are from US almost all the hotels are like a boutique hotel and maybe not what your are used to
This one was a good choice for me and I felt they were very polite with any request I made. I would stay again for sure. Plenty of places to eat right around the hotel and down the street.

Wonderful little gem in a great area!

I adore this hotel and would stay here again for sure! The staff was superb and the whole experience was just wonderful. My room was perfect for one person (with just enough room for my travel yoga mat), decorated beautifully and extremely clean. I was concerned it was a \"commercial\" area after I booked it - but it's actually a great location. It's very close to so many sites and cafes while being on a quiet and peaceful street. Can't say enough good things about it!

I had the worst stay in Paris in a long time.
I had a room on the 1st floor on the street for 3 nights... it was so noisy I couldn't sleep more than 2 hrs a night.. the last night I asked the reception if they had ear plugs cause staying in the room was like sleeping outside on the street and they laughed at me... I went out to buy some but still, noise was so loud, I slept from 3 to 5 am..
I came home exhausted after 3 nights at hotel gramont and slept 12 hrs in a row to recover..

We selected this hotel based on the central location to the sights we wanted to see as well as the reviews. This hotel was absolutely adorable- perfectly French. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the location was just perfect. We were able to walk throughout the city very easily- only taking the metro once. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend this hotel!

Very good location for a tourist. Staff was pleasant but not always well informed. Told that we should leave 20 minutes before our train left for London. Obviously, staff did not know that you must go through UK customs. It took 50 minutes for this process. Requested wakeup call was 45 minutes late. Night worker looked like he had just woke up. Our room did not look like the pictures. A room for 4 was one queen bed and sofa hide a bed... not too comfortable for 5 nights of sleeping.

VERY GOOD LOCATION-STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL

The hotel has a good location that is 1/2 block from a major boulevard that has many restaurants, several cinema theatres, ect. All of the hop on and off buses go down that street and stop a quarter mile away in front of the opera house. The underground was close by. The staff could not have been more cooperative.

My room was small but that is what I was expecting. However, it was not so small as to make me not being able to move around. The room could not have been cleaner. The bed was comfortable. I never heard any noise from the adjoining room but did hear people in their room when I was in the hallway by the elevator. The room has a safe and a very small refrigerator and color TV.

Bottom: There is nothing negative regarding this hotel that I experienced. I would consider staying there again.

The above information pertains to my rental of a room for 2 nights for one person. I have not seen the rooms for 2 or more persons.

Ideal hotel fo visiting Paris

We stayed for two nights and would be happy to stay here again. The receptionist was welcoming and very helpful and upgraded us. The hotel is well situated - close to the Garnier Opera House and the major department stores. There is a metro station within 3 minutes walk. I cannot speak for the other bedrooms but ours was clean and spacious with a separate bathroom and toilet. There is free room wi-fi, a minibar and safe and almost all the usual accessories though we would have appreciated a tea/coffee maker or a kettle. Checkout at noon gave us plenty of time and they stored our cases until we collected them later. There are breakfast facilities available but we did not use them.

We are both senior citizens and was given a room on the 6th floor. Little did we know that the elevator only goes to the 5th floor and the steps going to our floor was narrow and not easy to maneuver. Somebody helped bring up our luggage though. The staff at the reception desk was very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is centrally located but the room is small with very minimal amenities.

Beware lift does not go to to floor.

Top floor room (6th floor) required navigation of a tight winding staircase from the 5th floor, a difficult task lugging bags with limited mobility. We chose the Hotel due to the lift, and ended up needing to negotiate difficult stairs.

Hotel Gramont Opera, Paris.

Very welcoming & friendly, small hotel in an excellent position near Opera with 3 Metro stations nearby. Our room was upgraded to a larger one with a big bed - very good, clean and attractive but slightly let down by hard pillows. There is a lift, 24 hour lobby staffing and a lobby bar. Breakfast was good quality - mostly cold buffet but scrambled / fried eggs available on request. Would use it again next time.

The front desk people were awesome. They all spoke English really well and were super helpful. They gave great directions, suggestions, and tips on best places to go.

At the Center

The hotel is great especially Aurelie at the reception, always very pleasant and helpful with our daily needs as tourists. The hotel Gramont us at the center of tourist attractions and shopping areas.

Hotel was great. Only thing I wish I had known is if you are on the 6th floor you have to walk up one flight of stairs. The elevator only goes to the fifth floor and then there is a tiny staircase to drag your suitcase up. Not an issue if you are a light packer!

Small lovely typical Parisian hotel

We had a room at the top floor. The room was quite small but very confortable. We like the room decoration (typical French) and the cleaness. We had access to a large balcony so that was more than lovely to have few drinks there. The staff was professional and friendly.
