The hotel is well located to restaurants, shops and transport networks placing most Paris attractions in easy reach. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The studio was small, comfortable enough for one person but a squeeze for two particularly if staying more than a couple of days. The room and kitchenette were well appointed to allow for simple self-catering. The general décor was serviceable but nothing fancy. A negative was the plastic cover placed over the mattress, under the bottom sheet. It made for an uncomfortably sweaty and noisy sleep. At my request staff kindly removed the plastic mattress cover. All hotel information is accessed by a QR code, convenient for the hotel but not necessarily the guest who might what to quickly access simple information without having to resort to ones phone etc.

Great location and a well equipped appartment for three friends to spend the weekend together. Room was clean, we had a small problem with smell one day but that was resolved quickly. The entrance is a bit shabby but overall it was a good stay.

FYI to any future traveller this venue does not clean their rooms for the duration of your stay and although the room is clean it does not warrant the significant premium paid. In hindsight I should have paid $200 more to stay at the Marriott on the champs elysees

I found out Orbitz in association with the Hotel, transformed my NOT cancellable reservation in one the Hotel profited selling it twice. I arrived very late, and the room had been selled to someone else. A NON CANCELLABLE PREPAID RESERVATION can NOT be resold under any circumstances. The hotel did, because Orbitz aothorized it. I will like someone at Orbitz to explain this to me. I arrived late and had to sit 5 hours in a lobby, with the Hotel having collected from me and from someone else. And possibly Orbitz getting two comissions. I figure you may not like to publish this: but it is what it is. I arrived within the time of the prepaid NONCANCELABLE reservation, and Orbitz and the hotel sold it to someone else. Please reply

I booked this hotel thinking I had the room in the photo. But it was much smaller. For 3 nights it was too small. The bed was as hard as a piece of plywood. That being said, the location was perfect, within 2 minutes of a metro. The area was very safe.

What made our stay at this lovely hotel was the very kind and lovely front desk receptionist, Jasmala Stanslaus! Her greeting was so personal and truly expressed a desire to assist in anyway. She could tell that we were in our early 70's. She told us our room is ready, but tomorrow she was moving us to a room that is more accommodating. Because we had a tour early the following morning, we broungt our luggage down to the front desk. She made sure that our luggage was in the room upon our return that late evening! The other personnel at this beautiful hotel are also very friendly!

I loved this property because 1. They were kid to my grandbabies. 2. We had three little apartments with separate bedrooms from living area so kids could sleep. 3. My husband and I were coming from different time zones so having a separate area to sit while they other slept was convenient. 4. The kitchenette’s were lovely so we could have food for the grandbabies. I loved it. I love Paris and this made traveling with our children and grandchild super easy and pleasant.

There was construction onsight that was Happening throughout our entire stay that started as early as 6 am. We had to bring up our own towels and blankets upstairs and take out our own garbage- no room service was provided . The room that we booked was not the room they were going to give us they told us they had multiple variations of that type and was planning to downgrade us until I had showed them that hotel.ca and their website shows the same room type with the stairs then only they gave us the right room

All in all my stay here was great, the only isse was the smell of our bathroom. No matter what spray of how we cleaned it, it had this smell. But not to sound rude, visiting France my family and I noticed how most of their bathrooms were not very clean so I guess having a smell was not the worst thing we bumped into. At least the floor and toilet area in our room was clean.

The positive to this hotel is the location it is very convenient for the Metro and we were able to see all of the Paris sights easily. The area nearby has some nice restaurants and it is close to The Louvre to walk. Unfortunately our room was very noisy which is not great for 6 nights sleep. Overlooking a bar that stopped serving at 22.30 but people continue to chat until much later. Also next to the stairwell so door banging in the night.

My sister and I were going to both London and Paris. I was looking for a hotel with a kitchenette. I found the Citadines in Trafalger Square and looked for same company in Paris. Unfortunately, when I looked, all the locations did not come up, or I would not have chosen the Citadines Oprea House. I would have chosen one more centrally located. Having said that, the staff was friendly and check in was easy. The room was big enough and had the conveniences we were looking for. At first glance the room looked clean enough, but when I knocked a glass of water off the nightstand and swiped it up, the floor under the bed was dirty. Overall our stay was fine.

No air conditioning even tho the website says they do. They said there is no air conditioning during cold season in Europe so I wish this was transparent at the website. Be careful trying to work the thermostat as we accidentally turned on the heater for both nights.

Very disappointing. I had to change rooms twice. The first was claustrophobically small & not the double studio I booked & had a loud buzzing sound. The second one had cigarette smoke fumes in the separate tiny toilet & it got worse overnight. I have asthma & I was coughing when I went into the room. You need to accept cigarette smoke in Paris but not in a smoke free hotel. The 3rd room was better but didn’t get cleaned when requested after nearly a week. I had to go to reception to get clean towels. Overall an unpleasant stay. Such a shame it cost so much yet delivered so little. The 4 star rating isn’t warranted & I was very happy to leave in the end. Not a relaxing stay.

The studio was more spacious than we expected. It was nice to have a small kitchenette to store our leftovers from the day. We especially enjoyed the coffee/espresso/hot chocolate machine that we used every evening after a long day of being out and about in Paris. Housekeeping only came once that week. We had to bring our dirty towels downstairs to get new ones because there's no on site house keeping. Because of this, the small garbage cans in the bathroom filled up very quickly. Otherwise, our room was very clean and the use of space was very efficient. It was quiet, and beds were comfortable. On our first day out, we asked the concierge about the use of the subway. He was not very helpful even when he knew we were frustrated with learning how the transit system worked. He kept telling us to go to the transit attendant but the station near the hotel did not have a service attendant on site. We eventually had to figure out on our own without any help from the front desk person that was there.

As expected 4 star apartment hotel. Our bathroom plague was not working and my daughter is not able to have a bath. After speaking to reception, the lady came up to inspect immediately and offer us the apartment next door. However we already unpacked and found it easier to stay with the apartment given. Services have been great and very responsive. Possibly things to improve is to have a manual in the room and also housekeeping check everything.

We had two bed room apartments- one could not cool and smelled like sewer ( we constantly tried airing it out and running water down the drains to knock down the smell). The entry side walk thru the plaza had standing water after the rains. ( someone should take of of that or the side walk should slope to not pool up). The second apartment had no issues.

The pictures of the hotel are completely misleading! They were taken the day they had new floors new walls and new furniture. Today this place is not in the same condition and very run down, especially the rooms. The hotel was also under major construction, you could not open your blinds or windows as workers were right in your windowsill. My room smelled like sewage and they could not move me as they were sold out. I was up super late trying to find another hotel. They only gave me a 50% discount just for that night, even the staff thought it would not be safe for me to stay with that smell:( the bathrooms were very dirty I asked them to clean it and it was not cleaned properly, I have so many pictures I showed the manager. The one thing that saved our trip was that the beds were super comfortable.

We had an amazing time in Paris and the Citadines Opera is a fabulous hotel. The team were great and very helpful well versed in English if you struggle a bit with French. The room was easy to access, was very well appointed, clean, and a good size for a couple. The air conditioning was rather warm and difficult to adjust (but being picky). Tea and coffee facilities in the foyer was a nice touch. The team readily looked after our bags as we had a late evening flight. The location is great with an easy walk to the Opera House, Galleries Lafayette, shopping and restaurants with easy multiple access points to the Metro system. We would happily recommend this hotel as a great location and property to anyone visiting Paris.

Citadines Opera is in a lively area off a busy boulevard. We stayed 5 nights in a very quiet, clean, spacious, two storey, one bedroom apartment on the top floor with lots of storage space and large windows facing inner courtyards. Connecting spiral staircase is very tight. Good basic kitchen (no coffee maker but free coffee in lobby) with a patisserie next door. Monoprix and other grocery stores nearby. Helpful front desk staff who speak English. Strong wifi. Great central location for 20 walk to the Louvre or shopping at Galerie Lafayette. Be sure to eat at the fabulous Le Mesturet, 77 rue de Richelieu– an easy walk. Subway easy to use – Richelieu Drouot stop very close. We took the Roissey Bus in from Charles DQ and walked up from the Opera Palais Garnier drop off spot with our luggage. Alert – you pick up this bus at another location around the corner for return to CDG airport.

Very Disappointed and would not suggest anyone to stay there. The staff check us in has no clue what he was doing. First, there is a long form to fill. They charge you €25/ night for parking which was fine for me, but only to find out the next day, they forgot to give me the parking access card. I was looking for a two twin beds room, and the staff told me they don‘t have Studio room that has two twins beds as listed unless I upgraded to a more expensive apartment option. Only they were able to provide a Studio room with twins bed the next day, which end up my 65+ years old end up sleeping on the floor the first night. I would not stay in there ever again.

Whilst being close to everything the hotel was peaceful with no noise from nearby. Our room was lovely and clean, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

1 Bedroom apartment was huge for Paris, seperate living room, bedroom, plus a kitchenette. Mattress was only full size, but extra long and actually quite comfortable. Location was fantastic, near Metro, walking distance to most everything, and a number of places to eat nearby. Room was also very quiet, couldn't hear other units or much of anything from outside. After a little glitch where I asked for two twin beds and received a double instead (which they immediately fixed) it was a fantastic experience. The staff did a great job handling my travel companion who was quite difficult and handled him with professionalism and courtesy. He spoke very little French and the staff was able to communicate with him in English. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. It is only one block from the Metro so getting around Paris was a breeze.

Smells like a truck stop - No Service
As long as you know it’s an apartment with absolutely no service (they don’t take out your trash - there are 2 tiny trash cans that you will fill up in 5 minutes) , the towels are paper thin and not changed out unless you stay for 5 nights, one person on staff at anytime sitting behind a 6’ x 30” table who is very congenial but can’t really help you with anything (your air conditioner that doesn’t work properly, your microwave and dishwasher that are impossible to figure out and a toilet that smells like a truck stop - where they send someone up to clean it but doesn’t), then it’s ok. The location is good. I can’t recommend.
