Very friendly staff!
Hotel is ideally located in between two main shopping high streets with two of the major department stores. It’s very close to the opera Garnier and close to the metro and train station.

The staff were wonderful. We had to extend for two days because of a hurricane at home and the staff were very accommodating, letting us stay in the same room. Breakfast was delicious. The location is walkable to most tourist attractions.

Well, the fire alarm went off as a guest was smoking in his room. There is only one fire alarm and it is on the ground floor so I did not hear it on the fourth floor. The night manager had no clue on what to do. He did not report the event, so the general manager did not know what occurred!!!! Incredibly Bad.

The hotel is really good, clean, friendly and very helpful staff. However, when I booked the hotel, expedia mentioned its only 9 mins away walking to Champs Elysee, whereas it needs minimum 25 mins. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay!

Our \"standard double room\" was small but well designed. (Most European hotel rooms are small compared with American hotels.) The staff was great and fluent in English, which was useful, because my French is marginal. The breakfast buffet is a good deal -- we couldn't find a better feast anywhere else for the same price. Best of all, this hotel is convenient to the Paris Metro subway, regional train systems, and city buses. Day trips to Normandy and Versailles were easy. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The en-suite bathroom was nice, although no tub. The shower was unique. A small room was perfect for just me. The breakfast was in the cellar and very impressive. My only complaint is the hall light was motion activated.

Nice surprise for family trip

Came across this as a last minute option. Rooms and bed comfortable and in very good condition. Bathroom well laid out to provide shower even if small. The adjoining rooms worked great especially as only one was ready when checking in at 9:00 am which was really needed after taking long red eye flight.

The bed and pillows were amazing I haven’t slept so comfortable in a hotel ever! I highly recommend it here! Plus the staff were so nice! I booked this hotel last minute because I didn’t like the area of our previous hotel and even though check in was at 2pm they were kind enough to let us check in early as they could tell we were super exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Thanks! Super friendly and accommodating

The,staff makes my stay enjoyable

Had a very enjoyable stay at a modern clean hotel with excellent breakfast. But what makes the Vendome Opera Hotel standout is it’s excellent staff who were extremely helpful offering,recommendations and when I arrived I was shocked to find my Credit Cards missing. I was assured not to worry and given great compassionate advice on how to handle the situation. Truly a 5 star staff.

Perfectly located hotel for shopping

It is a perfectly located hotel for shopping but not so much for sight-seeing. The St Honore shopping area and the Galleries Lafayette are about 10 minutes walk away. At least the Louvre is a walking distance.
The street is a quite one with not much traffic. A pastry shop is close by . A few restaurants in the area. I would stay there again!

The hotel has just been redone. They might not be finished, but instructions on how to call to the front desk (no notes on or around the phone and \"0\", or \"1\" doesn't work. The shower is great, but leaks all over the bathroom floor requiring the use of towels to dry up. Also instructions for using the safe aren't easily found. The locale is great ---- easy to walk all over from there with convenient metro access as well. Front desk attendants were really lovely.

Clean hotel close to everything. Small room

I only used the hotel as a base to sleep during a friend's wedding so for that purpose it was perfect. It's close to the Opera and Galleries Lafayette, great location and yet on a quiet street. My room was very small and I could barely open the shower door (if stretched enough it would expand into the room area). The staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast. All in all, it was good value for money and it's possible my discounted rate meant I had to put up with their smallest room. I would return for practicality reasons. Room not suitable for a couple (really no space to move).

Great Hotel close to everything

Vendome du L'arcade is a great hotel in the 8th, close to just about all the tourist sites in Paris. Quicj cab ride from Gare du Lyon, many good restaurants, shops, food markets in the neighborhood - The entire hotel was recently renovated- the design is awesome, rooms comfortable, clean and new - especially the bathrooms- Bed very comfortable, climate control perfect. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a lot of questions how to use Metro, etc and they really took the time to help-front desk manager Biba was wonderful - so helpful and patient with us.
Breakfast downstairs was very good- buffet 15 euros pp. We walked or took Metro to Eiffel tower, Louve, Arc di Triomph, Place du Concorde. We will definitely stay there again!!

Overall a very nice hotel (clean, modern, well insulated from noise, great location, friendly staff), but there were a couple of issues that prevents me from giving a 5 star rating:

1) the room and bathroom were amongst the smallest I have seen in my 30+ years travelling the world. The rate of EUR 175 for such a small room was a bit low on the 'value' scale.

2) the glass shower leaked badly, so there was a huge puddle in the bathroom after every shower.

The staff is small but helpful. They allowed us to stow our luggage at the hotel before checkin and again after checkout. We were a little disappointed when our checkin time got moved back an hour, but they gave us a late check out on the back end. Overall the experience met our expectations and we'd be happy to return.

Fantastic newly remodel Hotell!!

I red many reviews about this hotel, but more likely they were old reviews, not good ones, luckily a colleague of mine was staying there and told me that the hotel has been renewed. Everything in this hotel is new. Fantastic room, great service, super central orotund the corner from La Madelen, restaurants, shopping, etc. I will definetly stay again in my next visit to Paris.

Struttura scarsa, la camera è stata consegnata la sera perché qualcuno aveva vomitato sul pavimento e hanno lavato la moquette che è rimasta bagnata e con l’odore di vomito tutto il week end.
L’albergo è piccolo e non ha un ristoro solo 4 tavoli per fare colazione.
