For the price, the suite was very small. Only bathroom amenities are hand and body soap. But the real issue was that the room was very hot and we could not control the air conditioning. They control the temperature down in the hotel office. It was 30 C in Paris and this made the room unbearable. For what we paid per might, I would expect to have good air conditioning.

The location is great in heart of Paris, the building status is fair giving being an old Parisian building. The bath was too short for me. Since they tried to include a bathtub, it reduces available hight. So when you take a shower you should perform a Japanese bow!!

Two items that concern me.
First, I tried to contact their reception when I was in the city to check something with them and I end up falling in an endless looping of answering machine and eventually no response!!!
Secondly, they tried to give us the room sooner which was nice but by mistake they give us incorrect room key!! Thanks GOD the guest was not in the room. Imagine you entered and see somebody else's stuff is in the room ...

This is a sign of poor management in general.

Just what you needed around the best part of Paris

For its location, this place is very appropriately priced and very good set up for a wonderful stay in Paris. Could it have been a 5-star hotel, No, but it was a wonderful place to stay in the best part of Paris. So stay here, buy some espresso pods from the Illy coffee store around the corner and some flowers at the Madeleine flower shops to make it your short term home.

The property is well situated minutes from the Opera House, Galaries Lafayette, Madeleine, Place de Concord, many Cafes, Brasseries and hop-on-hop-off bus stop.
hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Room was small but had everything we needed and felts like our own little place in Paris.

Two suggestions and points of weakness.
1. The bed which was originally combined to be one queen, and at our request, divided into two singles (great), kept sliding on the floor and we would constantly have to move it into place. Recommendation: apply anti-slip pads to the feet of the beds.
2. If you stay for less than one (1) week, noone cleans your room and you do not get new towels. If you stay for over 7 days, the ladies will come to clean your room and provide new towels.

Main focus being on the towels, we certainly could have used new towels every 2-3 days. Lots of walking, sweating and showing. New towels would have been much nicer.

Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay, would definitely return and would absolutely recommend to others.

If you are looking for affordable and central stay, this is your place. You are in the heart of Paris. And above that, you have a lot of ways of transportation at the palm of your hand in a radius of five minutes from the hotel: metro, train, bus, taxi, bike, etc.; which for me is the most important fact that you need to cover when visiting Paris: transportation. For the same reason, it can be a little noisy. We stayed at the first floor and you can feel and hear very far the trains early in the AM. For us, it was no trouble because of our commitments we had to get up early anyway. Close to shopping, pharmacy (even a hospital) and entertainment; dining and grocery stores in the same street. Very safe neighborhood at any hour.

Ive stayed in Adagio many times in the past and I am happy to note that they have renovated the rooms and the front desk looks more customer friendly.

There were issues re A/C but the Manager, and the staff including Mohammed, the very nice lady who handled my issues and the other French guy who is really sweet and kind handled all issues with kindness.

This property has many different public transportation exits. Rossy airport bus is just 3 minutes walk (across from Opera) with direct transportation to Charles De Galle airport for about 17 euro ( buy ticket at kiosk in front of bus stop). The property also has 3 coin operated washers (5 euros including laundry detergent) and 2 dryers ( 2.5 euros). Our room has stove and refrigerator/freezer with basic cooking utensils. Feel safe and has 24 hours on site staff who are always friendly and helpful. Would stay again in the future. Our bathroom is renovated.

If you are an American, this is not a 4 star property. It is definitely in the 3-star range. That being said, we stayed here with 2 teenagers (who used the pull out beds in the living room). It was clean and roomy enough (particularly for Europe). The location was great.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just don't expect 4 stars.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is its highly central location, especially for shoppers. Also, the cleanness level is very acceptable and the the staff is very friendly. On the other hand, the hotel is way overpriced compared to the services received. House keeping, replacement towels, all come at separate fees.

We had a great time staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English (because I do not know much French!). The area is very nice with restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy (if you require a covid test for traveling) right around the corner. Our room had a kitchen and microwave which we did not use but is super helpful if you wanted to pick up food to cook. It is just a few minutes walking to a few metro stations with the closest being Auber RER and we took the metro everything. Though we did walk to the Louvre which is only 15 minutes or so away.

The staff we're very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned to a good standard and the location was good for stations and eating places. Some of the decor in the room, especially bathroom/toilet needed refreshing. The area is very noisy, it is by the Opera, after all and that bleeds into the rooms.

Believe it or not they charge you 8 euros (for each item) if you want to change your towels or the bed linen, because we stayed 4 nights they never changed the towels, only the persons that stay 7 days or more have ONE towel change, never cleaned the room or pick up garbage...air conditioning OFF, they said because it was already winter and the temp was 74 F ouside, we needed to open the windows....this was the first and last time that Paris saw me.....

Location of this hotel and spaciousness of the one-bedroom apartment were superb. Everything else was lousy. The place is shabby, furniture is uncomfortable and outdated. The service was non-existent. The hotel is rated as four-star but it is a joke or fraud. It is still a good place to stay but keep your expectations very-very low.

Convenient apartment next to Galleries Lafayette

The room was not ready when we arrived, so we waited in the lobby for an hour without any notice that the room is ready until I went to ask the reception again and realised that the room is ready to check-in. The price is not including breakfast, towels change and room cleaning service are not included, the extra charges required.
The location is perfect, it is convenient transportation from the airport by Roissybus and Lafayette is just in the corner.

Hotel has an excellent location near Opera Garnier. Unfortunately apartment I was staying in needs desperately updating, it looks worned out and dirty even after cleaning. Air conditioning did not work, it was switch-off for the season but because of the weather changes it was hot and stuffy when I checked-in. I was offered a fan but that did not help much anyway. For over $300/night you should be able to enjoy your stay and have all amenities they advertize.

We booked for 3 days and it was never made clear until after we had paid that, although the daily rate was reasonable for the first day it was almost doubled on the 2nd and 3rd days which made it EXTREMELY expensive even by Paris standards.

The room was clean but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable with synthetic pillows. There was a loud hotel AC unit outside our room which was another reason that it was difficult to sleep.

The hotel location is good, metro station is within 5 mins walking distance. The room is big and the staff is very nice.
We had a good stay and no complaint at all. The only complaint is to hotels.com because the description of the room is 2 double beds but the staff told me thier hotel only has 2 twin beds + 1 sofa bed in all rooms. The staff said it is te mistake of the website. Anyway, please correct it asap to avoid confusion

The hotel location is very close to the Opera, the Perfume Museum, The train station, The Metro,The Louvre
The breakfast was great and ok priced Not included with cost of your room
The air conditioner did not work We had to get some one to fix it The toilet was upstairs and shower down stairs There was no soap or toilet paper or garbage
At night the area is very noisy and especially because you had to leave the window open to get the room cool
It was hard to sleep

Family of four stayed for three nights. Suite with four beds accommodated us fine. Hotel location is within three blocks of Metro. Nice area to walk. Didn't have breakfast at hotel, but smelled good on our way out. Loved the mix of old and new (new interior with classic exterior).

Paris is such a hard place to review properties because depending on price, the standards are all-over the place. The staff firstly were great. The facilities great. The location excellent. The room could do with a freshen up but in comparison to other properties we have stayed in, it was good, just could be better, that's all. At the right price, this is a good property with a good supermarket just 150 metres away.

It's NOT a Studio - just a Very Small Hotel Room!

The studio was not a studio, just a small hotel room where the bed folds up into the wall. See photos. I couldn't get it down, then when I finally got someone to help me I couldn't undo the knot that had been tied because the buckle was broken.
There was no tea, no coffee, no milk, no anything - and the desk couldn't supply any of it - so good luck finding a grocery store at 11PM in Paris. Actually, any time. Can't think why they bothered having a coffee machine, as far as I could work out it had never been used. Likewise the 'kitchen' (corridor with small sink)
There was no service on the second day, so the room had an unmade bed taking up all the space, very inconvenient. The cupboards had no door, so you had to look at the vacuum cleaner and other cleaning stuff. The ceiling panels were coming down (see photo)
There was no help - for instance to help you with luggage - there only ever seemed to be one staff member on so they couldn't leave the desk - but they were very friendly.
The location is brilliant, but this 'apartment hotel' was - for me - a very expensive mistake. The other hotel I stayed in the week before was lovely - wish I had stayed there again!

Very well located. The kitchen allows you to save money on restaurants and have a healthier diet; It would be convenient to have a toaster. Also the maintenance a little better care: the guides of the closet doors made it very difficult to open the doors, the curtain was partially off the hook and could not be closed ...
The staff is friendly and helpful with what you ask. I hope it also does with the coat that I forgot, although I have been three days already without knowing if it is sent home, and they don't answer my emails...

To sum up: good value for money, good attention from the staff, very well located, you need to urgently improve the maintenance. I will return on my next trip to Paris and I recommend it.

Service at this hotel is poor. There was a bedbug issue in room 303. They changed my room but getting help to do the room change was challenging. No wake up call on 2 occasions. 2 requests to clean the room were not done without reminder. Some reception staff were rude and unhelpful although some were polite and helpful. Conveniently located. It has become my little home it Paris, I stay here every year as I can walk to everywhere. The kitchen is small and utilities spares, but it's just enough to get by to cook your own meals, and with plenty of supermarkets around I can have dinner in my pj's instead of having to go out for every meal, which is what you want after a long day of meetings!

Fine, but wouldn't book again

My fiance and I used this hotel for a 6 night trip to Paris. We've stayed in an Aparthotel before and were pleasantly surprised, so were expecting a similar standard. However we were a little disappointed with the service; on the first night we asked for an extra pillow (there was one in the wardrobe but we both sleep with two pillows so needed another) and were told there were none... We were a little surprised, but not the end of the world.. Generally the service was just lacking though, and for a 4 star hotel I expected more.

The room we stayed in was small but adequate. The wifi was down the whole week we were there, which was a pain when trying to plan our day's activities.

The gym was a very small cave-like room and had no air con. 2 out of the 4 machines weren't working and the TV didn't tune in to any channels. On the plus side I had the whole room to myself (Y)

The location was good and the Roissybus (€11) was very convenient for getting from and to CDG airport. On our last day we were able to leave our luggage for a couple of hours once we had checked out.

Overall, if you're not going for a long trip, fine hotel, but we probably wouldn't go back.

Great location

Clean, well located, friendly staff with acceptable breakfast. During our stay, wifi was down due to construction workers destroying the cable just outside the hotel. Staff was very comprehensive but still unable to provide some during the 72 hours we were there.

Review for Aparthotel Adagio Paris Opera

I love the location of this hotel, for it is a very short block or two walk to Printemps Department store, Galeries Lafayette, Opera, and so much more..there are 3 stations all around for the Metro and RER..Auber, Harve Caumartin, and Madeline...pick the one for the rail line where you are going.

Wonderful experience

The Adagio is very close to the Opera and Galeries Lafayette. Excellent shops, site-seeing, central location, restaurants. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. But I have to say the the person who really stands out is DELA what a wonderful, happy, helpful and friendly person. Everything she does is as if it is no problem at all--Adagio give her a raise, promotion and keep her!
The only thing that needs improvement is to fix some torn wallpaper and repaint a little in the rooms.

Nice Hotel close to metro and RER stations\n

Very convenient location,close to bakeries and large department stores.
Two Metro stations and RER station within 5 min walk.
Very clean and well equipped apartment .

great stay and friendly staff

Stayed for Paris marathon. Wanted somewhere in good location, with kitchenette and a bathtub! This ticked all the boxes. Half an hour walk to champs elysee, 20 mins to the seine, 3 mins to supermarket, and 3 mins to metro stops. Secure and safe area, close to upmarket shops if that's what you want!

Weak water pressure in the shower

Everything was good except the water pressure at the shower. Hotel technician did come and try to fix but still cannot improve.

Hope this is only an isolated case.

Super location at a reasonable price!

Location is fantastic just round the corner from the Paris Opera! Room is overall clean and very comfortable to sleep in with good space. Compared to the rest of the hotels in this neighbourhood, this is definitely one of the most reasonably priced hotel offering great value for money.

Large and Comfy

We were in Paris for a conference at a larger very expensive 5 star hotel around the corner from the Adagio. The conference rate was not available the last night of our stay. We saw the Adagio on hotels.com and booked it. We should have stayed here the entire conference. We had a one bedroom two story apartment on the 5th floor. Everything you could need was in the apartment. The only down side the hotel had a limited number of adapters for the electrical outlets. So please bring your own. Other than that the staff and facilities rock ! The price can't be beat...for a total of $289 a night, we could have comfortable got 4 people in the apartment. Since it's near the opera its in the epicenter of everything !
