a lot to do to improve services
they could take our credit card at their system and charge us breakfast automatically since they dont want to include it at thier rom price instead of treating you like a theif yelling at me to pay he could've spoken nicely
no fridges at the room
no air-conditioning

The staff were helpful and friendly. However, the lift was not working when I checked in so a staff had to help me lug my heavy suitcase up to the 4th floor, and then I had to carry it down when I checked out. I have arthritis.

Excellent, central location, near the large department stores, with good transport links. It's great for walking to lots of parts of the city centre. The staff members we spoke to were efficient and friendly.
Our room had comfortable beds and a clean bathroom, but was extremely hot, as it was on the top floor and had no air conditioning. There were fans, which were effective to some extent, but really it felt like we had no respite from the Paris heat. I would not stay here again in the summer, but would definitely consider it in the winter.
I also think it's time for the hotel to upgrade its awful, ineffective, old hairdryers - it was pretty annoying to be unable to dry or style my hair.
Overall, not a bad place to stay.

overpriced for a very average experience-

The room a/c was not possible to control. The room was cramped. And they charged e5 for storing luggage. The photos online were a lot nicer than the room I stayed in. The staff were good but the hotel was overpriced for what it is- I thought I was paying more that I normally would for a better experience . I’d choose a chain /ibis etc over this next time , or choose better for an independent hotel

Can't beat the location. Cozy place. Extra small though, but that's the standard for downtown Paris (you will not get bigger). Breakfast decent, does the job. Very friendly staff and again can't beat the location. You can do the whole France country (even in Europe) by affordable metro and trains.

The room was ok, the bathroom did smell damp. But overall it was clean. The bedroom itself wasn't massive and you can hear a lot of noise from the corridor but pass 11ish it seem pretty quiet. I was able to get a good nights sleep. I would probably be back mainly because of the location and the facilities are ok.

Extremely pleased for a city weekend

The hotel is located very conveniently next to metro stations in a central part of the city and it is very easy to find. It is a simple, clean and (for Paris standards) spacious room. It is an extra safe hotel with a tight control of who goes in and out. Nothing luxurious but everything else is there.

Tiny rooms and no AC

Staff OK but several things were not working. First no AC and a tiny fan that didn't do anything to reduce the heat. Volume on TV couldn't go up a certain level (may be on purpose?). Bedside table lamp was not working. Hairdryer was broken which obliged me to hold it tightly while blowing my hair dry and almost burnt my hand. Wifi did not work during our two days stay. Rooms and corridors terribly hot. The good thing is this hotel location, just behind the Galeries Lafayette.

No air-condition in the room

No air-con in the room! Cannot stay during summer. Went late June, weather not so hot so bearable but sun rise at 6am so can't sleep longer. Had stayed on 4th floor. As there is no air-con, we have to open window. Although fan was provided, it was noisy! After open window, outside also very noisy. 6+am can hear garbage truck. And houseflies flew in as well!

The hotel WiFi is constantly down...there’s basically no wift at all during the two times I stayed there. They require u to leave the room card key at the front desk when going out...the problem is when I checked in, the gentlemen mistakenly gave me a room which already had other guest staying inside (but the guest was out), so I had to run down stairs again and he said he made a mistake. So I just didn’t feel safe about leaving my key with them when I go out. I could have easily stolen things from that room (but I didn’t of course). What if they make the same mistake and ppl steal my stuff?
But I have to say the hotel is located in a very convenient location for eats and shopping.

Smelt of sewerage outside and was hoping it wasn't travelled through but the bedroom smelled bad too. The bedroom was very loud, next to the road and assuming it was single glazed windows. The wifi was shocking, not good at all. The room was clean but the bed wasn't very comfortable. Receptionist was the only staff we interacted with and was fine.

My 'Home' in Paris

I return to the Antin Trinite time after time because it suits my needs .. The +s: centrally located, affordable, comfortable enough, clean room with daily towel change, great staff. The -s: small room, minimal storage space, expensive breakfast.
The 'single' rooms are small and there is not enough shelf / drawer storage. However, I travel solo so it is not a great problem for me. I do not take the breakfast at 15 euros - there are numerous alternatives nearby. Lastly, but not least, the reception staff are very good. I am recognised and warmly welcomed by name even after several month's gap.
I shall return in February 2017.

You have to leave the key in the reception desk if you go out. What worry me is that the desk never asked for identification/verification when you ask for room key when you return to room, means anyone can ask (or wrongly ask) for a key of your room. So don't leave anything expensive/your shopping/ passport in the room

Bad hotel, very expensive for what it offers. It should be maximum 2 stars. Room very small and not well designed, staff are amicable but there's no service. No air condition, no tissue boxes, no place to put a medium suitcase...
I only recommend it if you are in paris just for shopping at lafayette, it is very close to it.

The hotel interior is new and all work well. There is no air conditioning but it's fine for me even it's July.

For shopacholic, the location is unbeatable and it's great for sight seeing too. Really at city centre.

Convenient Location and Nice Stay

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The staff were nice and helpful, which I appreciated. There was one gentleman who even briefed me about how to be careful when traveling alone in the city, which I thought was very kind of him. It is a safe, affordable, and clean place to stay. I only wish there was some centralized air conditioning, as on my last day in the morning I got mosquito bitten from leaving the windows open. I was very happy otherwise. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Improvement needed from Concierge

Due to the convenient location, I picked this hotel while 2 days staying in Paris.

Very bad experince while doing my check-in on Concierge after landed.
Staff was very rude attitude. While paying city tax, he did not accept for cents and only notes are accepted.

He also required every guest to keep room key at concierge and mentioned that it was not very safe to take the room key out.
I completely understand his concern but this policy should not be MUST.
(even I stayed at other hotels and this is only a suggestion)
While asking him whether the hotel has any cameras at corridor but his answer was \"NO\". As room does not have safety box, properties at room once lose, this responsibility still belongs to guest even keeping the room key at concierge.
Really unexpected asnwer from concierge and hope to see improvement to be made in the future.

I stayed here on my way back from a long trip to Japan. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a window opening to the street. However, there was not too much noise for this didn't bother me.

The bathroom was a little small. But for one person on a short getaway, this is adequate.

For the price and location, I would highly recommend.

Location is perfect !!! It is very close to metro station and just right behind the Lafayette Department Store. There are also many cafes and restaurants nearby. Warning: no Internet included and is very expensi.

Today, your average muffin shop has fee Wi Fi, but not this hotel. You must pay by the hour or about 15 bucks to use it each day.

This is 2016 and Wi Fi is as necessary as phones and toilets. Should the hotel disconnect he phone line and have pay toilets too?

But the hotel is nice, clean, and well located. It just seems so inappropriate about the Wi Fi for a 3 Star.

We loved the hotel. The rooms are small and the shower even smaller and the walls are thin but it was quaint, cozy and typical french. I would stay there again. The neighborhood was busy with hundreds of shops and a mall within 2 blocks. Metro also just a few blocks away. Staff are friendly. Breakfast option in the hotel.

This is a good hotel, rooms albeit small but great value for the price. My only problem with it was the owner charges for wifi. Wifi is free at every other hotel I stay at in either in Paris or anywhere around the world so personally I think it should be complimentary. Other than that, It's a great little on the cheap boutiquey hotel, the rooms are cute.

My 'home' in Paris.

The Antin Trinite is my 'home' in Paris ... it meets all my needs. A few minutes walk from the CDG airport bus terminus. Recently refurbished to a very good standard. The rooms are small but this is Paris. Scrupulously clean with daily linen changes. Superb staff on first name terms. A few minutes walk to major shopping outlets. Easy Metro links to all parts of the city. These are the reasons I come back.

This hotel is located directly behind the Galeries Lafayette and a street away from the Roissy bus drop off and pick up. The bathroom is, for France, just great, you can move around in the shower. No view of anything except a building across the (tiny) street, but if you want a view, go outside, after all it is Paris, and look at everything. However it is the staff who makes this hotel, the nicest, most knowledgeable staff I have ever seen, whatever you needed such as going to Montmartre on a \"no vehicle\" day to tape for my boxes to ship back, they were there and always a smile. Real good breakfast, I should have asked what type of juice was offered besides the orange juice because it was delicious. About the only negative I can have are the lack of internet, even when paid, could not get thru and those steps, going up to the elevator or up one step and down one step after getting off. But exercise is good for you.

Really disappointing experience

With the price range I accept, originally didn't expect too much from the hotel condition. But still, it managed to lower by bar by its really disappointing behavior. The hotel's location is not bad, to be true. Though after my arriving, it arranged to another whole new different location, only telling me it's due to some technique mistakes. The new hotel's condition is totally far from satisfactory, and to make things worse, the new location is very inconvenient and not as half good as the original one. The hotel staff never mentioned things like they were sorry for what happened at all, and they didn't arrange any kind of transportation for my trip from the original one to the new one. You have to drag your own luggages and won't get any refund for the extra transportation fee paid. There was not even one glass cup in the new room. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any visitors to Fance if you want to maintain a cheerful impression about this city.

When I visited the hotel, the temperature was 32 degrees Celsius. I was surprised that there was an air conditioner in the room. It was terrible experience. I don't recommend this hotel in summer. However it was really comfortable to stay the there apart from that.

Position wise it is excellent if you want to go shopping etc. Only downsides for me were that the rooms got excessively warm and you couldn't open the windows due to the noise that was relentless in the night from the usual i.e. bin men, delivery men, car alarms etc. Life in the city I guess. Staff were great, beds a bit hard, but clean and bathroom was great.

Must leave key at front desk when leaving the room

I didn't like that when leaving the room they ask you to leave the key at the frot desk. When coming back in the room you must ask for the key again, and they don't verify with Id or anything whether you are actually staying there! Dangerous when leaving your shopping bags inside!

i booked this hotel 3 months before my visit to paris based on review that is central and close to major attractions. when i arrived i was shocked by the size of the rooms, im aware of the typical small hotel rooms in paris but this was way too small for a couple. the ceiling height is very low and im not a very tall person, no wardrobe, literally no room for anything. even when i complained at the reception, they weren't helpful and wouldn't do anything to upgrade to a bigger room. bed sheets weren't clean when i asked to change it they kept huffing and puffing. in addition they charge you for water, wifi, breakfast.....avoid it

Good Value for a Great Location

Location, Location, Location. Situated in the heart of Grand Department Stores LaFayette and Printemps and steps away from the Opera, the metro is a quick trip to anywhere. Although we found it an easy walk to the Christmas Market on the Champs Elysees. This is a tidy little two star that is recently renovated. The elevator was handy for our luggage, but the steps were easy to manage. The room was snug but clean. Not unusual for a Paris 2 star hotel. There was a lot of hall noise, but that quieted after hours and our courtyard facing room was quiet at night. There were loads of cafes steps away from the hotel from breakfast and lots of easy dinner options at night. I would stay here again.

My 'home' in Paris!

I have stayed here many times (16 at the last count) because The Antin Trinite meets my needs .. Centrally located, a few minutes walk from the airport bus terminus and shops. Spotlessly clean and comfortable (if you exclude people who cannot shut a room door quietly) with daily service and within a few minute's walk of Metro links to all parts of the city. The hotel's refurbishment continues, I'm told. Sadly, visitors are leaving their mark on the upgraded rooms already. It's not 5* accommodation and you get what you pay for yet it's still very good e.g. on arrival - a warm welcome with a friendly handshake and my room key produced without asking thereafter. That is why I'll be back. It's already booked!!
