Location: Excellent – very central, close to Galeries Lafayette and L’Olympia, with plenty of Metro options nearby. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.
Hotel & Staff: The hotel is small but lovely. Staff were welcoming and efficient. We could drop off our luggage on arrival, and they even delivered it to our room once ready. There’s a small bar area; we didn’t use the breakfast room.
Room (202): Spacious enough for a short break. Refreshments provided. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers, TV, and bedside shelf, though no drawers for underwear.
Bathroom: Compact but clean, with plenty of towels, shampoo, and body gel. The shower is small but powerful and enjoyable.
Lift: Small and cozy; if you don’t like enclosed spaces, request a low floor.
Check-out: Smooth overall. We could leave our bags after checking out, which was convenient. Minor annoyance: housekeeping knocked at 10:15 am (check-out is 12:00), which felt unnecessary.
Verdict: Ideal for a short stay in Paris. Central, comfortable, and convenient — we would definitely stay here again.

Les seuls avantages de cet hôtel sont l’emplacement, et dans notre cas, une salle de bain neuve dans notre chambre (#106),d’où ma notation de 2 étoiles. Après... chambre soi-disant \"confort\" (donc plus chère) avec la climatisation en panne avec la ventilation ne marchant pas (un ventilateur portable était déjà présent dans la chambre à notre arrivée, signe que la climatisation était en panne depuis un moment).Impossible d'ouvrir entièrement les portes de la penderie touchant la tablette de nuit fixe. Impossible d'ouvrir entièrement la fenêtre, touchant le lit.Passage au 1er étage par une cage d'escalier extérieure avant d'accéder à un sas pour accéder à sa chambre….Chariots de matériel de nettoyage en permanence dans les couloirs déjà étroits, coffre-fort non fixé dans la penderie, désorganisation totale au petit déjeuner ou une jeune femme était incapable de remplir assez rapidement l’étalage, pourtant pas énorme, de nourriture ou de bouteilles de jus de fruits.A notre arrivée le premier jour, plusieurs personnes du personnel était en train de manger tranquillement leur déjeuner au bar de l’hôtel, repas dont l’odeur n’était pas des plus agréables.Il serait plus normal à mon avis que ces repas soient pris ailleurs, à l’écart de la clientèle.Pour finir, réponse de la réceptionniste sur ma question au sujet de la différence entre une chambre normale et une chambre confort « La confort est plus grande » !!! Je n’ose imaginer la superficie de chambres normales en voyant la nôtre.

The hotel literally is located in the center is Paris, 1 block and a half from the roissy bus stop from/to CDG airport, behind galeria Lafayette store, clean, safe and in good conditions, good price, ideally for 1 or 2 nights stopovers in Paris

Long weekend in Paris. Fantastic location just behind the Opera. Rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was also really good. Only downsides were that the room was overheated and access to go upstairs from the GF had to be via the lift as the card controlled door wasn't working.

Nice for short stay

Hotel is very central/easy to find.
Reception area and staff were very nice and welcoming.
Bedroom 301 was small but ideal
For out 24 hour stay. We had a twin room which was too warm (November) but AC didn’t work when room card wasn’t in. My bed squeezed every time I moved.
Bathroom very clean and spacious.
Breakfast wasn’t too great but there was enough choice. Woman serving the breakfast area only placed 4 slices of bread at a time at the buffet despite there being 8 people seated across 4 tables.
I’d stay here again and would recommend it.

Great location, this classic hotel is great for a Paris trip, rooms (classic) is OK given your only sleeping in it!, would prefer a little bigger but again typically European, comfy bed and quiet location even room at front. Only negative for me was size of the shower, they are quite small, so OK for a drip down wash. Staff are helpful, night porter on hand for nightcap drinks in a nice bar area. Would recommend for a city break

Staff was AMAZING! Everyone was truly helpful, friendly and accommodating! Check in was a breeze and after we checked out and wanted to store our luggage, not only did the allow us to store it all day, they gave us directions on how to get to CDG.

The location was just fantastic as it was close enough to walk or very central to busses and subway!

Overpriced. Hostile receptionist

In the middle of a heatwave, I was given a room where the air conditioning did not work. Calling reception did not help: the phone didnot work (receptionist told me later he was fully aware that it did not work). Went back downstairs, got receptionist to come back with me. He swore that the aircon was working, just slow to start. He put his hand in front of vent, reinforced that it was working. Left.
An hour later, I had to go back down as aircon definitely was never going to start.
I asked for another room. \"We haven’t got any\". I looked incredulous. Five minutes later: \"Let me see... yes we do have one. But the aircon doesn't work. There's nothing I can do about it! The boss doesn't want to invest in changing it!\"
\"So you mean to say, you knew full well the aircon was not working in the previous room? And you still told me it would?\"
\"Yes! There's nothing I can do about it!\"
Absolute nonsense from start to finish, with utterly unpleasant, flippant attitude from this receptionist.
This hotel is overpriced for very dated, tired rooms and carpets, and completely useless, almost hostile service.

Central Paris - great location!

Great \"little\" hotel tucked behind the Galeries Lafayette, hence great central location, also close to RATP bus to Roissy. Room was spacious for Paris (enough for , very comfortable bed, nice bathroom - overlooking a courtyard, hence very quiet (but no view - I did not care, I was there only for sleeping). Reception was friendly. Bar/Drinks and breakfast available for a fee, though I did not use these services. I will stay there again on my next visit to Paris!

Overall OK hotel but lacking quality for the price

Overall good hotel if all you want is to sleep there but still I find it a bit expensive for the service, room size and quality overall but I guess this is expected in Paris.
Location is great with walking distances to many places and also with several bus and metro stations around.
Room is very small so big persons will find it somehow annoying. Shower very small, I am a medium size male and was not able to fit well and take a comfortable shower so if you are a big person and taller than 1.80mts this will be a big problem.
Breakfast was OK, nothing special or spectacular, just bread, cheese, juice and coffee.
Would I stay again? Probably yes, but will look for another options if I happen to come back to Paris.

The was good. Clean and tidy. The housekeeper came in every day to tidy. The room was a good size. The only problem we found was the shower was far to small. Could not turn round and I burned my arm on the tap and left a burn mark. Besides that, we had a great time. The hotel is in a perfect location. We would stay again, but in a room with a bigger shower.

Misleading hotel page

Hotel is very small and not very clean. Not at all like the pictures taken. The pictures were actually quite misleading. There was barely room for two people to walk from bed to washroom in the room.

Elevator very small couldn't fit one person and two luggages.

No working wifi outside of lobby eventhough the staff insisted it should work...

I could not check in this hotel instead transferred to other hotel which I really did not want , because I choose the hotel d'Antin closed to city and shopping but the transferred hotel got par away from and and the d'Antin hotel staff said just mentioned my booked room had technical problem and can not connect me because They have a none information about me. me and My wife really disappointment. I checked that night we were transferred cheaper one , I can proof because I found it from Hotel.com.

Small, reasonably priced hotel in great location, in the midst of downtown shopping (Galeries Lafayette next door, Printemps 100m away, both shut sundays)), 5 minutes stroll from RATP (Roissy) CDG airport/city bus stop and Big Bus Hop On/Off stop at L'Opera/Palais Garnier (on Rue Scribe at corner with Rue Auber), etc. Loads of cafes and eateries, though most shut on sundays.

Very comfortable considering the fact that the rooms are rather small but they are very cozy. Located right behind Gallerie Lafayette. Unfortunately the restaurants in the immediate area close earlier than I would like that is some at 8 others at 9 and the latest at 10.

Located centrally, the Hotel Opera d'Antin was the ideal hotel for our 3 night stay. The staff were warm and acccomodating and the room was of a good size with both a shower and bath available. The free Wi-Fi was excellent and very easy to connect to.

Terrible service !!!

This is my first time staying in Best Western hotel chain. However, I have a very bad experience at this hotel that there is no workable air conditioning in the hotel during the summer time. There is no extra electric fan available for temporary use. The night receptionist only says the incoming fresh air for the air conditioner is not working well at top floor and tells me to open window to get cooler air. I will probably not to choose any hotel from this chain at more.

Best Western Hotel Opera D'Antin is typical of a budget to mid-price hotel in Paris. The staff at the front desk are
always pleasant and friendly. They have free internet which is also nice. The rooms are \"tiny\", and the shower even smaller. if you are over 5'8\" you will not be comfortable in the standard room. A standard room does have a small double bed. Would advise an upgraded room for travelers with 2 people. What the hotel does have is a fantastic location if you want to shop Galleries Lafayette and the opera district. Hands down the location is perfect. The staff is accommodating in storing parcels in the lobby closet.

Friendly staff and close to the Grand Magasins

I stayed at the Opera d'Antin already four times because I worked at Bvd Haussmann, right between Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. The hotel was conviently right around the corner and I was always delighted by its friendly staff and the small extras like a free bottle of mineral water. The rooms are clean and I have already stayed at hotels with much smaller rooms. The rooms' style is basic and there is no mini bar, but otherwise I can recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.

I will stay here again.

The location is very good. The room was not too small ( I have experienced tiny rooms in Paris before). The shower was good and even had a bath tub. The curtain is thick enough not to get the sunlight in the morning, which is excellent. There is no 'wow' effect, but very nice and comfortable.

Compact Friendly hotel near Bvd Haussman

I stayed for a 2 night business trip working with an office on Bvd Haussman. The location is superb, just behind Galeries Lafayette. The staff are friendly and helpful but the room was Tiny! ... even for Paris...Fortunately I was alone and I was out most of the time but as a double this room would have been a struggle.

So for my purposes it works but I would not have wanted to spend too much time in the room purely because of the size

A fine place to stay

A comfortable, friendly and efficient hotel. I would stay there again. Outside it was cold and raining, so we asked for a recommendation for a good local restaurant. The receptionist directed us an excellent and reasonably priced local restaurant, even giving us a voucher offering free glasses of champagne.

I only stayed one night but the hotel is located in a central area near to main stations and the metro plus there is a small bar in the lobby.The room was a 'Classic double' which was a moderate size but was well equiped and clean . The hotel offers free wi-fi through an external provider . I chose the hotel as a 10 minute walk to St Lazare station.

Overall this is a good little hotel. You're not gonna get a big room in paris unless you pay a high price so don't expect much space in these rooms. The room was always clean as well as the hotel. Its an old little building/hotel with the basic amenities as needed. Did really enjoy rthe WiFi, made communication with home a lot easier. The hotel staff were pleasant. Not out of this world customer service, but also not rude or anything, just average. Overall I would recommend this hotel for someone who is not looking to spend a lot of time in the room like us (we were out over 12 hours every day) and just needs a decent, clean, comfortable place to stay while touring paris.

very good location

the hotel is in a very good location. restaurants, shops, monoprix, pharmacies, cafes are just within the area. specifically i want to mention the lady at the front desk who was always very cordial and very helpful. she helped us with all our questions. i will stay here again the next time i'm in paris.

Stay here if you want to be near Galaries

Very small room. We stayed for 5 nites, so we had big luggages. it was impossible to place 2 open luggage in the room and still have space to walk around

Upside was the good location, near Galaries and Printemps. Near to various Metro lines and RER A.

I find the hotel so-so, a little disappointing. The toilet was big

Small rooms, like most hotels in Paris.
Really great location, 5min walk to Opera, and 15min to Concord Sq. 10min to Moulin Rouge. 3min to nearest metro station.
Good service, nice staff.
A bit slow elevator though.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Don't be put off, as I initially was, by the appearance of the hotel frontage as it does tend to resemble the entrance to a warehouse.
Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel is in a very convenient location for shopping and is 3 minutes from a Metro station but it's only a 20 minute stroll to the centre of Paris . We would definitely stay there again.

Great location,Great hotel

The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. It was in a great location and not far from the metro. A safe area and in close proximity to an array of shops.

Quiet,clean et triste

Very clean and quiet. Very small room. I asked for a bigger room and it is hard to believe that in a 15 day stay that one could not be found.

Room was quiet, which is great , but as it was an inside room, there was no sun evr. So it made it a very sad place after a while.

Location next to big stores is a bit of a nuisance if you can't stand crowds, but a plus for getting food at Lafayette Gourmet. It's also an easy walk to place de La Concorde with theaters near by. Lots of subways around hotel. It's also very convenient for the bus to and from the airport- a deal at 10Euros!

I would stay again if a larger room was available and I was staying only for a few days.
