Very helpful staff. Was visiting using a rollator and the elevator was almost too small to fit me and it at the same time. Corridors are very small as well but the stay as a whole was very pleasant. My second time here. On the same street as Gare du Nord. The 43 bus runs by the hotel and goes direct to the train station.

I really liked this hotel and found it good value for money (for Paris at least). The room was comfortable, if a bit dated, but the bed was really comfortable and I slept really well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was very good (for my business purposes) - some great restaurants nearby, metro stop, etc. I’m certainly going to come back!

I really enjoyed my stay as the room was more spacious than i was expecting and cleaned to a high standard. The downside was the noise from the metro (i was on the 1st floor) and i had to go and find a staff member to unlock the front door in the morning (once) - this could be resolved by adding a bell to reception. Other than that it was a nice stay.

My daughter and I spent 5 nights here on a recent trip. The staff at the 24-hour desk were always helpful. This is a good location, not too far from bus and metro stops, although we ended up using taxis, which were more convenient for us. The elevator is quite small, but serviceable. We did not request daily housekeeping. The room is small but very comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood, but close to some good bistros and cafes. I would stay there again, no hesitation.

Our overall stay was good, the service by the staff was excellent! Breakfast had variety of options and was fresh. The room we were put in was the only one on the main level and was behind a curtain (which is also by a front door to the building that was closed off). There were two large, frosted windows on one side of the room that were literally next to the road (long blackout curtains are there). We could hear people talking, walking, cars going by, etc. It was fairly disruptive but there weren’t any other rooms available and we survived :) There was also the rumbling of the metro underneath, so if you’re a light sleeper, perhaps verify you won’t be in that particular room. The location was near a few metro options and was in a great location. There was a small fridge which was helpful and a small safe. Room temp was a tad hard to control and the ventilation left the room smelling musty after showers, but that’s how a lot of the rooms are from our experience. I’d say that overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Good room for the price and a 3 star hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception. Comfortable bed, good aircon and the windows kept most of the noise out of the room from the busy street outside. A light in the mirror frame kept flickering after turning out the lights was the biggest downside of the room, which caused me to not have the best sleep in the world. Overall would recommend.

We could hear and feel the metro under us. The concierge told us that we could change rooms the next day, just not our first night. But we slept really well so we just stayed in the room the whole time. We were the only room on the first floor so I can’t say if the rooms above had the same issue.

While not the busiest area (which helped it be quiet), there were plenty of eating places close, and within 3 blocks were entrances to 2 metro lines which made getting anywhere in Paris a breeze! The staff was awesome, everyone was friendly and helpful. Their breakfast (which we had to buy separately) was really nice and perfect for our needs, and reasonable (for Paris…). The best part was as temperatures climbed, the air conditioning was excellent, way better than other name brand hotels we’d previously stayed at this trip. The room was “cozy”, but we managed and the bathroom was a nice size. We feel we got an excellent value, and with so many choices, we made an excellent one!

24 hour front desk and baggage storage, staffed with nice, helpful people. L'Occitane products in the bathroom. Big, soft, fluffy towels. Daily housekeeping. Quiet room (could hear the Metro, but not overly loud.) Great dining options all within a block. Huge breakfast with pretty much anything one could ask for (eggs, sausage, beans, waffles, brown bread for toast, croissants, butter, jam, yogurt, cold ham slices, cheese slices, all kinds of coffees--and this is just what I remember. It seemed expensive, but I spent the same at a cafe, so this was a great value.) This hotel was a great deal in a great area in the great city of Paris!

The hotel staff were lovely and very accommodating.
The location is excellent in terms of being close to attractions like Montmartre but it does take around 15-30mins via subway etc to reach the more touristy areas (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, etc.). Otherwise as two female travellers we felt very safe.
We didn’t use the breakfast service or anything but it was offered which was nice.
The rooms were a little tight but clean.
We enjoyed our stay a lot!

The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The rooms are a good size with good amenities and we had a nice Juliet balcony. You can hear the metro running regularly (we could hear it even on the 3rd floor) but you get used to it.

Hotel staff was great and friendly. Was not expecting for the hotel to be on the smaller side. Elevator to get to the hotel room was small, could only fit 1 - 2 persons. Hotel room was a bit on the smaller side as well. Location of the hotel was just a little bit far from all the main attractions. Hotel conditions were a bit older but otherwise our stay there was pleasant.

got a ground floor room - until midnight I could feel the metro, and the room was next to the bus lane and the windows were just a double gazing - so I had to sleep with headphones on, ideal when you’re on a business trip.
Breakfast was below average, coffee was horrendous and pastries were undercooked the first day.

This hotel was an excellent option for those who want a modern hotel stay, extremely friendly staff, excellent breakfast options, walkable to shops, bars and restaurants. I had a balcony to see the city. There is a grocery store walking distance and very accessible for Uber and taxi pick ups. I would HIGHLY recommend the stay here. There is lobby staff 24 hours… and they accommodate all your needs

We had an enjoyable 3 nights here. Great location - very close to the metro and there is a poké restaurant just across the street. Very friendly and helpful staffs. House-keeper did an impeccable job everyday! The only thing that can be improved is the wifi connection. We stayed at the 6th floor and the connection in the room was not great, but it was good at the lobby. We will stay there again next time we go visiting Paris. Recommend!

For the price of a cab, you don't get a limo service! This is a very little tiny hotel, I mean very small. My room was like an attic. Staff specially Rabiha and Benoit were super friendly and welcoming. Hotel is really clean. What makes it superb is, its LOCATION. From this hotel to all point of interests just walk. The area is very well animated full of of good spots.

The location of this hotel is amazing, perfect for a few nights in Paris. I just wish there were a few more amenities for a longer stay, like a dresser and microwave, either in the room or at least in a common area. You're just getting a comfy bed and bathroom, which may be enough for people that plan to be out all day.

No soap in the shower. Coffee maker was not working two of the days we were there. Charged for breakfast although we only ate there two days. Very small elevator. Bathroom was not very fresh, and a big step in and out of the shower. Not set up for older people.

The staff is the kindest and most amazing ! They were very flexible and supportive with an early check in and luggage storage. We heard the train but it wasn’t an issue at all for our sleep. The room was small but with a very lovely balcony. The bathroom was very spacious but a bit outdated. For the price and value I would stay here again.

The service was very good, unfortunately, I don't speak French or English and it would be helpful if you had someone at the reception who speaks Spanish to provide better assistance.

Regarding the room, I was unlucky that the air conditioning didn't work. They gave me a fan to try to alleviate the heat generated in the room at night while sleeping.

Service and cleanliness were excellent!!

It would easily be a 10/10, but because of the A/C issue and since I'm a fan of the cold, I will give you 8/10.

We had a family suite at Hôtel Châteaudun Opéra for 6 nights over New Years' Eve. There are plenty of good dining options available, laundry facilities, and public transport stops within easy walking distance. The staff were very good and spoke enough English for our needs.
It's a little far out of the centre of Paris but it's easily walkable as we proved most days of our stay.
Rooms were comfortable and possibly above \"average Parisian\" in size. A few minor inexplicably broken items (e.g. the foot lever on the pedal bin) were bemusing rather than problematic. We also found it a little hot to sleep with only a quilt/doona provided for bed covering - overkill given the efficiency of heating in the room and a simple sheet would likely have been sufficient and more comfortable.
Handing the room key to the front desk whenever we left the premises was a bit old school but in some ways it added to the charm.
All up, a pleasant stay that facilitated our enjoyment of Paris.

I absolutely LOVED my stay

What a lovely hotel! I so enjoyed my stay and EVERYONE was so kind and were gracious enough to speak English for me since my French is so rudimentary to say the least. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily with fresh towels given. The neighborhood is nice with plenty of restaurants close by and in walking distance. Easy walk to Galeries Lafayette Haussmann and Garnier Opera. The staff even assisted me in getting transportation since I’m intimidated by the Metro (there are Metro stations nearby as well). Luggage storage is available if you should arrive earlier than check in time. My next trip to Paris I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again!

The location is great. Near the center of Paris but at the same time it gives you the neighborhood vibe. Great restaurants, bakery’s and cafes near the hotel, Sacre-Coeur at walking distance. The hotel is good, clean, elevator, gym and 24 hour reception.

Good value in great location

We loved the location of the hotel, and it was great value for the time of year we traveled. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the room and common spaces were clean and tidy. The two downsides were that we were sometimes woken when other guests went in and out of their rooms late night/early morning - the doors in the hallway slam quite loud and hallway noise traveled very easily into our room (though thankfully we couldn't hear other guests once they were inside their own rooms). I wondered if this could be improved if they put soft close mechanisms on the doors? The second downside was that the TV had only French broadcast TV, we couldn't find stations in other languages. What would be really useful would be updating the TVs to smart TVs so you can log in to your own apps (Netflix, etc). As I'm 8 months pregnant we had early nights on this trip and planned to watch some films before sleeping, which we couldn't do (but I'm guessing most people don't come to Paris to watch TV so perhaps this wouldn't be an issue for most!)

All in all I'd stay here again.
