Absolutely do not stay here. I checked in and checked out within the hour of seeing my room. Don’t let the lobby trick you into believing its nice, the rooms are not at all like the website displays. Moldy and rusted bathroom with tiles falling apart. The shower or tub you would say didnt even have a wall attachment so not sure how you could even shower without holding a shower head the whole time while spraying water everywhere. The sink and under were disgusting and not even clean. The whole ceiling and walls were discolored and looked like mold in corner moldings. The carpet was dirty and the bed looked disgusting. Truly unsure how this place has good reviews, I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. Ive seen nicer motels on the side of freeways.

The staff were incredibly rude, unhelpful, and arrogant. We had to check out two nights early because the room was infested with bedbugs. The elevator was out of order for most of our stay, and when we decided to leave, they didn't even try to remind us or show any concern about the bedbugs. It was a terrible experience.

I was initially disappointed in the size of the room but then decided it was okay. However, there were brown spots in the sheets that I didn't notice until morning. There was only one outlet more than 5 feet and 9 inches above the ground so I couldnt use more phone while charging. No shower. Do not recommend.

The hotel served its purpose; I wasn't expecting a 5-star experience, I knew it would be something simple, but what I didn't expect was the musty smell coming from the bathroom because they stored old things upstairs. The carpet was extremely old, to the point that there was practically no carpet left. The bed, although comfortable, was very saggy. The person who checked me in at reception wasn't friendly at all. Don't expect to be able to store your luggage if you need to; they won't help you. The hotel is in very good area, good transportation!

Beyond expectations! My room and bathroom were quite clean throughout my entire stay, which I absolutely liked - well, expect for the first day: two pillowcases were stained, but I took them off the pillows and the next day, I received clean ones and all was well.
Moreover, the receptionists were so very kind and friendly.

This was the worst experience i’ve ever had at a hotel. We checked into a room on arrival and walked into a room that clearly wasn’t cleaned. There were cigarettes under the bed, previous guest invoices on the desk, opened beer on the desk and hair in the bed. I spoke to reception and he gave us another room. Upon entering this room, we checked the bed and there were bed bugs. I asked if we could get a refund and he declined and told me to contact expedia as I booked this hotel through expedia. I contacted expedia and they contacted the hotel once again and they declined to refund me. I was forced to go book another hotel for 4 nights. I would not recommend staying at this place.

If I could I would give this hotel 0 stars because that’s what they deserve.

An unpretentious, no-frills hotel with clean rooms. Friendly staff.
The only massive inconvenience: the hotel does not accept luggage deposit on the day you check out! We were told to look for luggage storage somewhere else in the area. We ended up queueing for 45 mins at the luggage deposit at the Gare du Nord.

This was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. The level of filth on the carpet and walls in the room was something else. There were stains on the sheets and curtains. I wore my shoes the whole time. I didn’t want to even spend any time in the room. Very uncomfortable stay.

This room immediately smelled like cigarette smoke, the carpets are old and stained, and there was facial hair in the bathroom, like from someone shaving previously. The shower is not a proper mounted shower head, which we heard is common in Paris, but we wish it was better advertised, there was no shower curtain either.

Budget friendly and within walking distance of good food places, and 1+ hour walking distance to all the tourist sites, but definitely not the nicest place we’ve stayed.

Upside is the beds were very comfortable, but we just felt the room was not as clean as the pictures made it seem.

We had a pleasant family stay, 2 adults, 2 kids. The hotel room was very spacious and suitable for our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Things to note, there is no air conditioning. The hotel provided fans. There are only two electrical outlets for either charging your phones or using the fans. The temperature was in the 70's Fahrenheit during the day and cooler at night, so we just opened the windows.
There was a bathtub in the bathroom with a small handheld showerhead. It worked fine for us, but might be an issue for someone with mobility challenges.

It was an overall great stay, close to the metro, right out front by the market & plenty of food places nearby! The facility itself is visibly older & less refine but I’m not complaining about that, as long as it felt safe. Which it did, they had 24hrs desk person. I did feel that it was peculiar that you had to leave your room key at the desk every single time you left the building. This was the first I heard of that. Additionally, there was one instance that a cleaning staff opened the door as I was changing & did not shut it right away after I responded with shock. It was the day before we were checking out- I can tell she did not mean anything bad about it but I felt she should have shut the door quickly and not stand there for a few more seconds lol

Starting with the bad, this hotel lacks air conditioning, and one of the staff members is often lounging around, sometimes even on the phone during working hours. These two notes aside, the hotel is in an excellent location in a safe, walkable neighborhood, and sits directly on line 12 of the metro, making it incredibly convenient for travel. The hotel always seemed very clean (although I didn't black light check or anything). and the staff (aside from the one person) was always very professional, helpful, and even funny at times. Given the price, the room is of decent size, and the lack of air conditioning just encourages travelers to get out of the room and explore the city.

It is an old style building hasn’t been updated to current lifestyle. The ceiling is very low. The room is small. The bathroom is separate from shower. The is no space to wash hand in the bathroom. The shower room doesn’t have curtains to stop water to leak to the floor. It is a tiny shower room. The towels smile( poor quality laundry service). It is extremely hot. There is no air conditioning. They have a poor quality fan. You cannot regulate normal temperature in the room. It is a small bedroom. They offer 2 tv canals. The carpet in the rooms extremely old. The staff are master to say know anything you ask or request. They don’t understand what does it mean of service. They have no service. They are interested only on your money. They violate your privacy. They have the smallest elevator. You cannot breath when is full. The Expedia should not list this hotel in the website. They are experts to destroy your vocation or they make you to suffer on vacation with the money you paid.

This place is advertised as a two star hotel but should be zero stars. To sum up:
-no air conditioning and a decrepit old fan
-absolutely tiny room, no place to open luggage. 2 outlets for the entire room (including 1 to plug in the fan) and 1 of them is hidden behind the bed
-the tub has no curtain and the shower head is located wait too low
-room was not clean; found someone else’s water bottle under the bed
-all this for $150/night? What a sick joke

I’m sorry I never checked the hotel had no air conditioning. Toilet was on one side of the room and shower on other. Carpets and curtains old. Had to sleep with windows open. The worst for us on the last day we wanted to eat as a family and one had to stay to watch bags cause they don’t have storage room. I will not go back. Property itself was clean, staff were excellent helpful and spoke good English 24 hour desk was wonderful.
Room had everything we needed but limited on plug sockets and shower head was inconvenient as was attached to the wall.
Bath plug seal was loose so water drained.

Area was great lots of restaurants, (unfortunately very hard to find space in them) metro was close. Only problem was noise. Buses run late street cleaners operate all day and motorcycles are loud. No fault of the hotel but something to consider if you stay.

The property lobby was adequate. The room was awful. It wad described as \"superior room, 1 queen bed, 140 square feet.\" Actually it was a garret room--in the attic, slanted walls. The floor space wad probably 140 sq ft, but the \"stand-up-straight\" space was only 84 sq ft. The carpet was old and stained, the dust was visible in the air. The bathroom ceiling was covered with mold. The tub was below the slanted wall, requiring crouching to get in and out. My friend slipped and fell getting into the tub, and needed assistance to get out. Both of us had asthma all night. I had already paid in advance for a 4 night stay, and it was not refundable! $554.96 wasted! I made a reservation at the Hilton, La Defense, for the next three nights for another $900. We had a lousy breakfast buffet at the Antin before checking out the morning after the first night. Only raw eggs were available, so we had to boil our own eggs at that buffet.
I took numerous photos of the room, but I don't know how to upload them. I pressed the \"add a photo\" button several times, but no instructions or connections to my camera appeared. I am old and I am not tech savvy.

Stayed here because all other hotels in my price range were full. Room was dingy, very outdated, tiny, and dirty. On a hot day and night, the lack of air conditioning in this small, dirty room made it challenging to relax/sleep. There was a fan in the room; the remote control for the fan had a gross layer of dust on it. This is one of those hotels where they keep the room key when you leave. To give you an idea about the quality of the hotel, our plastic card room key was cracked right down the middle, and dirty. On the bright side, the staff was nice and the location is good--there's a metro stop about a 30-second walk away.

Disappointing. I know Parisian rooms are small, but this was ridiculous. Worse still, there were holes in the floor under the stained carpet, no aircon or soundproofing and a basic double bed, so we got very little sleep. Overall, not as advertised, and absolutely overpriced. The staff were fine, but couldn't mitigate any of the issues.

Good location and friendly neighbourhood with some great food options. Very easy to walk to the centre attractions and very close to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. However a major negative point is being unable to leave your luggage prior to check in or post check out. As Paris is a city break destination time is of the essence and we always maximise by booking early and late travel to make the most of the day . Not being able to leave luggage was a major issue and was not publicised at the time of booking. I know this is a 2 star hotel but it is highly unusual.

When we arrived the man at the front desk asked for my family name, I gave him my first name not knowing exactly what he needed. It took a couple seconds for us to figure it out and when he we did finally he very obviously rolled his eyes..
after being informed that we needed to leave the room key at reception (which we are not used to in any country we have visited so far) I was hesitant to say I understood and he gave us a bit of attitude in telling us it was management rules (which is fine we just didn’t know) so I then asked for him to explain that rule for clarification for us and he responded again with attitude saying that we are travelling and don’t know the rules of different countries (we were in France 4 days prior and didn’t have this policy) aside from that, the room walls and floors were covered in stains, the doors to the bathtub and sink room and closet didn’t close properly and overall did not give the feeling of a clean room. Also the walls are very thin and there was no safe or lock box in the room to keep valuables. I would definitely NOT stay here again. The only nice thing was being so close to the metro station.

The smell inside the room was terrible, we complaint about it on multiple times and asked for another room and they just said we are fully booked. Not even sorry, or let me see how can help, nothing!

In the family room there is no shower. Only a tub. They claim there is a shower because there is a shower head in the tub not on the wall.

Manager of property was not friendly and unwilling to work with us on switching rooms. We even offered to purchase 2 standard rooms if they would refund the family room. Manager didn’t respond.

I had a generally good stay at this hotel, but there were a few things to note. The room I booked was meant for three people, and the photos online showed two separate rooms with beds, which was quite misleading. In reality, I was given a small room with one double bed and one single bed all in the same space. I would definitely recommend checking directly with the hotel before booking to confirm exactly what you’re getting.

The hotel itself looks quite nice in the photos, but it does appear older in person. That said, the room was clean and comfortable, and I still enjoyed my stay overall.

This was by far the worst hotel room experience of my life. The room was so small you literally had to jump over the bed to get to the other side. There was no room to open 2 carry on cases. And let’s not talk about the floor carpet. It looked like it had never been cleaned since the hotel opened. The shower had no curtains, that means water kept on splashing onto the floor. The only reason i give it a 2 start and not one, because the staff seemed nice and and helpful.

I would only stay in this hotel if it was an emergency and i was stranded around the area. Just pay the extra and stay somewhere more descent. I don’t know if hotel rooms in Paris are like this since it was my first time visiting, but don’t let yourself get fool by the nice lobby in the picture and definitely check the room dimensions in the description.

They keep your room key you are not allowed to take it out with you which personally made me feel unsafe as all my belongings are in there and when you’re coming in you just ask for the room number with no safety questions so anyone could take the key and say it’s their room, also you’re stuck outside if the receptionist is doing something or not there.

The holding money when booking is kept till after you leave and you will still need to pay full price even though they have taken already half.

Bed is very uncomfortable room is fallen apart, no essentials just some soap.

Only good thing is the hotel is convenient area and also very nice area, night receptionist was so lovely and caring I didn’t manage to get his name but super lovely young boy.

Otherwise would never go again, if it was more than 2 days I would have left the hotel and picked a different one.

Friendly staff, small dirty rooms

Our stay was very mid. The staff were all very friendly, but the room was extremely small and the room and bathroom were quite dirty… the rug had stains all over, as did the walls. You can just FEEL the grime.

The information and pictures do not match the current state of the hotel. This is in an unsafe area. The mattress are like sleeping on wood planks, the shower is just an attachment on a tub and hangs you cant stand to shower. The elevator feels like it will break any moment. Walls are dirty the ceilings have open spaces and looks like there are cameras in areas like the bathroom over bath.

The rooms are tiny, but this is not unusual in Paris from my experience. Location is close to the train and walking distance to Moulin Rouge. Breakfast is extra, but really nice breakfast for the price.
