Great stay! As a solo traveler, I felt safe, and the room was spacious for Paris. The shower is strong, bed very comfortable, with free mini bar water/juice and a nice coffee/snack bar in the lobby. Convenient location near restaurants and metro (though a short hill walk), and the front desk was very accommodating with room placement.

The hotel desk clerk was warm, friendly, and made us feel welcome right away. The location was easy to find, and the breakfast was excellent, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There are a few stairs in the hallway leading to the rooms, so guests with mobility issues may want to plan accordingly. Overall, it was a lovely and comfortable stay!

There are several excellent restaurants located near the hotel. Metro, cleaners, small grocery shops, and a pharmacy are all nearby. It is an easy walk to the Moulin Rouge, which is surrounded by tourist shops and many other stores.

Breakfast is basic with the hot dish (scrambled egg vs. omlet and then two sides) repeats every other day but we all found something to eat each day. They have fruit as well.

In the evening they have a snack bar with sodas and water. The snacks were impressive and really helped us during our tours. There is also a small tabletop ice machine.

The promised gift/tour was a business card, and you had to go to another location to exchange the card for the gift/tour. Our card was for a gift. We didn't have the time or the desire to go. We did not know if it would end up as one of those upsale things or worse so not worth our effort.

Upon check in at 1am I was assigned room 202. Upon entering room, 2 guests were in bed. After awakening guests I immediately closed door, returned to front desk to notify them of their mistake. I was then assigned room 222. Having 4 suitcases I realized that to get to my room the elevator goes up 1 floor, exit the elevator, walk down the hall towards room 114 then go up the spiral stairs to 222. After traveling for over 15 hours all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. NO HOT WATER. I notified front desk after getting a few hours sleep only to be told that the entire building was without hot water and that this should have been brought to my attention upon check in. After returning from visiting attractions and over 2 days without a shower I was happy to hear that we now had hot water. The last night of my 4 nights stay I turned on the hot water pot which resulted in a blown fuse that affected that also affected the TV and the lamp. This issue was corrected in an hour. The room was very small but clean and comfortable. Other than the issue mentioned above my stay at the Hotel George was OK. With the issues I experienced with no hot water, no elevator to room and blown fuse, the amount spent for this 4 nights stay was definitely not worth it. Again, professional customer service and housekeeping staff.

Great hotel in Paris!

This is fantastic 3 star hotel in Paris.
It’s located near Monmart but also with walking distance to major city attractions. Around hotel there are few amazing bakeries and also some good restaurants.
It’s part of Astotel group allowing you to use facilities of other Astotel hotels around Paris, where you can find free coffee and snacks.
All employees are very friendly and always there to help.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and definitely will book it again on our next Paris visit.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel George Astotel and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. 2 minutes walk to St George \"Green line\" train station, 5 minutes walk to Moulin Rouge and shopping. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Breakfast in the hotel was very good! Highly recommending this boutique hotel to anyone.

The property was clean. The staff were helpful. I liked the idea of the free water and juice/soft drink that was replenished daily. Although the room was quite small it was big enough for our needs as we spent most of the day sight seeing. I would definitely stay here again.

I love our room, clean, big and spacious at the first floor, so convenient and comfortable! I also love the fact that they provide beverages for free, those that are inside the room, plus the wall heater inside the big bathroom allows me to do wash/dry lingeries so quick! This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in France throughout my 2-weeks vacation in trrs of functionality! This hotel is the most economical and beats the 4-stars hotel that I have stayed in. Excellent customer service with quality and professionalism.

Great Hotel, Great Location.

If you want a nice but affordable hotel away from all the tourist traps and in a nice neighborhood, this is the place for you! It is easily connected to the rest of the city by train with 3-4 stations within a 5-10minute walk. The staff is fantastic and were very friendly and helpful, the housekeeping was top notch filling our FREE mini bar everyday and making sure we always had what we needed. The room was small but just what we needed and had a small balcony with a great view of the local neighborhood. The shower was also small but got the job done, my one complaint about the room is the lack of temp control, I couldn't cool the room down at all because the AC was centrally controlled so we left the windows open almost the whole time. Also be warned the only lift is enough for a person and a small suitcase or two people pressed against each other with no bags.
There are plenty of restaurants, pastry shops, coffee shops and grocery stores around. Moulin Rouge is with in walking distance and with the metro you can get anywhere in about 15-20 minutes. We loved the area so much that its are go to area from now on when we visit Paris.

Staff was nice and the room was good and the free snacks in the lobby were awesome. But the WiFi went in and out all the time. One of the amazing staff tried to help but I know it was out of her control. This place is not bad but if you are needing good WiFi like we did I would pick somewhere else.

Also the listing on Expedia says this place has laundry but it does not!

We had to walk to a laundromat which was fine but it was a reason I picked this place so be aware.

I’m a hotel snob and I gave this 5* rating.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It’s is conveniently located close to bars, food outlets, moulin rouge, metro, buses and the hop on hop off bus.
We felt very safe walking around the area at night.
The hotel it self is very clean and the free soft drink mini bar in the room is a plus. Along with the snacks between 2pm-2am. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable stay in Paris

Really lovely stay at George Hotel. Great location, between metro Pigalle (line 2) and metro Saint George (line 12). Lots of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Staff at hotel very friendly. They have storage for luggage if you arrive early/leave late. They also have a complimentary snack bar with coffee, cold drinks, and little snacks (cookies, pastries etc). Each room has a mini fridge with complimentary water and jus, which was also very much appreciated. AC in room worked very well. Rooms were clean, shower didn’t leak and bed was comfortable. Would recommend and would stay again!

Hotel George is in a great location, it is within walking distance of the Saint George train stop and entertainment. As a black female solo traveler, I felt completely safe travelling around at night. The restaurant A La Place St. George is less than a 10-minute walk and has delicious food. The hotel also has snacks out in the afternoon that are convenient if going out or wanting something to pass by.

The staff was great! The concierge was friendly and gave good advice on local food and things to see around Paris. They held our bags before and after check out. The room was very clean. They provided free snacks and drinks downstairs. Also the drinks in the room mini bar were complimentary. The beds were a little stiff but not uncomfortable. The rooms and hallways were a bit narrow but they did a great job of using the space. My only complaint would be the shower. It was very small and a bit difficult to use. But, everything else was great. Would recommend!

If you have trouble with stairs, contact when booking. Some rooms, even though there’s a lift, has stairs to access rooms, but otherwise a great hotel. Room is small, but you don’t go to Paris to stay in the room!

Where do i start!? This is such a fantastic hotel, could be happier with our stay,

We stayed 2 nights,

Personal me and my girlfriend love the busyness and noise of the city streets, so noise was bo problem especially once your closed the windows

Everything is in walking distance (if u like walking that is) shops, sites, restaurants....

There have been alot of negitive reviews on the size of the room and lift......honestly dont know what they are on about, room room was perfect size to accommodate for the weekend (you are not moving on permanently)
And the lift fitted us and our suitaces in perfectly fine!!
The room is clean, well facilitated, with a decent stocked mini bar
At the hotel reception, is \"The Bar\" sticked with drinks and goodies everday which was most convenient,

And the staff...well....absolutly amamzing i cannot thank Sarah enough for how she looked after us, with making our romantic weekend in Paris extra special with decorating our room with balloons and flowers, my girlfriend was so suprised and happy,
Also the late check out did wonders as our train wasnt til later in the evening,

Overall FANTASIC hotel, and will definitely stay again

The hotel is in a good location and the front desk staff were welcoming. I like that we can access the chain’s other hotels to use their facilities. Would have given the overall rating a 5 star but the lack of cleaning of the toilet one time hindered that. Plus the one time the garbage can was not emptied out. Will stay at the hotel again in the future.

When I checked in I mentioned I needed a quiet room on a high floor because I needed good sleep and wasn’t feeling well. They put me in the worst room possible, right by the stairs on the first floor. I could hear the people laughing above me until 2am, and the guests dragging their suitcases down the stairs in the morning. When I asked the front desk if the lift was broken, she said, “no.” Zero apologies. She said there was no other room to move me to after I complained about my noisy room. A few hours later I saw a couple checking in, so there was clearly another room, later that day I saw another couple checking in, so clearly they were lying to me. I also found a black hair in my bed, and I am blonde. Overall my stay was horrible and I moved hotels and decided not to extend because of the lack of sleep due to noise. I would not suggest this hotel if you are American, it did not meet a 3 star standard.

Worth it

Easy walk to two major metro stations and access to multiple buss routes.
Moulin Rouge, Wall of Love, Sacre Coer and several other must see locations.

Avoid room 103, there is a loud water flushing/draining sound above your head. Apart from that, nice cosy space with unlimited snacks, coffee and tea available around 1300 until midnight or later.

Also, you have access to all Astotel properties for a quick tea or bathroom break while you explore.

Definitely going back.
