Lovely modern room for 3. Friendly staff. Breakfast wasn’t loads of option some hot and cold things but it was enough for our stay. Lovely central location easy to get to a lot and not too far from the airport and tourist attractions. Would stay again.

Was supposed to stay here for NYE. Showed up to be told they did not have a room for us. Apparently they were having issues with a pipe. What was frustrating is we were told they new about this before hand but made no attempt to contact us to let us know. They tried to offer my fiancé and I a single bed, no way we would fit. I asked to be moved to another hotel. They had nothing lined up so this was going to take time. We had to go to make a dinner reservation but they said they would call and let us know where they moved us. They never called. Front desk associate at 2am when we returned had no idea what was going on. They did get us transferred but since they didn't call and arrange beforehand this lead us to dragging our suitcases (no cabs on NYE) through the streets at 2am 20 minutes to a new hotel. Honestly they whole experience ruined out NYE.

Easy to find, lovely welcome from David on reception and all staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Beautiful clean room with L’Occataine toiletries and fresh water daily. Breakfast well worth 14E. Bed was comfortable and we felt safe throughout our stay with our lovely comfy room to come back to. Nice places to eat locally but no so much with a fussy teenager!! We managed to travel around easily on foot and by Metro and had a wonderful trip many thanks to Brittany hotel!

Fabulous hotel. Easy to get to from Gare du Nord, walking distance to everything you need. Great restaurants and cafes nearby.
Staff incredibly helpful and welcoming.
We stayed in a “space” room - three adults. Was roomy by European standards. Great amenities, great bathroom. Super cofmortable beds. Pull out sofa was also very comfortable. Good coffee shop on the corner - Blondie.
Shame the cocktail bar attached appeared dysfunct.
We did not use the breakfast facilities.
Would recommend and would definitely stay again if i was lucky enough to be returning to Paris.

I was spending over an hour trying to figoure out how the WiFi/chromecast situation worked and followed all the instructions- only to find out that the network was not working. And as my French is not the best, I had no option - so it made the entire stay quite useless for me

I’ve booked many holidays through Expedia and have usually been very satisfied, but unfortunately our stay at Hotel Brittany Opéra in Paris was disappointing.

Breakfast was included in our booking, but when we arrived we were told it would not be provided at all due to building works. This was only communicated at check-in, despite breakfast being one of the reasons we booked. The refund for the breakfasts was processed by Expedia, not the hotel, who failed to take responsibility.

Our room on the 7th floor had scaffolding immediately outside the window, with workers present. We had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The building works caused loud hammering and drilling, starting as early as 8:30am and continuing until after 9:30pm. We complained to Reception, but the noise continued for another 20 minutes that night and resumed early the next morning.

The location is convenient and the room itself was fine (if a little cramped), but the lack of transparency about the scale and timing of works, plus the removal of breakfast without advance warning, made this stay very disappointing.

Disappointing Stay – No Warning About Major Constr

When we first arrived at the hotel, check-in was easy—we were able to drop off our suitcases since we arrived at 11 a.m. and check-in wasn’t until 3 p.m. That part went smoothly. However, I really needed to use the toilet downstairs and was told I couldn’t because it was under construction.

There was absolutely no mention on the website that the hotel would be undergoing renovations. The entire front of the building was covered in scaffolding, blocking all balconies. We couldn’t see anything outside, and when we got to our room later that day, we found dirty socks left on the balcony. The area was dusty and completely unusable due to the construction.

To add to the disappointment, the bar and bar area were also under construction, so we couldn’t use or enjoy any of those facilities either. Again, none of this was communicated beforehand—no warning on the website, no email, nothing.

On top of everything, the room itself was incredibly small—like, very, very small. It felt cramped and uncomfortable, especially considering we expected a relaxing stay. Had we known about the construction and the tiny room, we would have definitely chosen a different hotel. The lack of transparency really ruined the experience.

The room was beautifully newly refurbished and refurbishment of the entire hotel was still in progress (looks like it will be completed very soon) and they have done an excellent job with the details. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

When we arrived we where informed that the hotel was under massive renovations and the bottom 2 floors where totally gutted and stuff layed about everywhere. Work started at about 8 in the morning so we didnt really get a sleep in as sanding and drilling started straight away. Couldnt open the window because of scaffolding outside with workers on and dust would get in. Hotel room was lovely but alot of dust about because works. Staff are lovely but we need to be informed beforehand that this was the case

- the toilet stinks so bad.. like a rotten mouse
- the breakfast isn't really a buffet/ unlimited
- the lift was so tiny.. can only fit two people or a person and a luggage

- only one good thing, the young receptionist who welcomed us was very polite and accommodating!

Potential to be a beautiful hotel, on e renovated.

Bit disappointed with our stay at the hotel to be honest.
I had received an email from the hotel to say that there was building works going on but I didn't realise what the extent of this would be.
We were in the 6th floor and every other floor was having a full renovation. Workmen were working through the night (quietly) and then the drilling started at 8am. We had scaffolding directly outside our bedroom windows so I was reluctant to open the windows through the night and our room was hot.
Also a strong smell of some sort of building products. Glue like.
The room itself was lovely and clean though. The reception staff were pleasant and I think once the hotel is complete it will be lovely. It is in a great location with lots of nice restaurants, cafes and patisseries on the doorstep.

I was not advised that this hotel would be under construction during my week long stay. The small hotel would be lovely under normal circumstances, but instead it was a full fledged construction zone. The daily noise was so loud with jack hammers and other equipment. The entire lobby was filled with white construction dust. The bar did not exist. There was no breakfast \"buffet\" -we were offered some options which included microwaved eggs and small fruit salad. The regular staff were very nice and they were apologetic about the situation. They felt it was unfair for the management to be selling rooms in a hotel that was unsafe and unhealthy. The managers were defensive and said that they had advised all of us about the construction - this was untrue. I asked for some compensation and they refused. One day I returned to the hotel to find the workman painting along the hall of the floor of my room. My room smelled like fresh paint. I opened the window and asked for a blanket, which the staff brought me - it was dirty. Then, they brought two sheets, which didn't help. I was moved up to a higher floor the next day after a freezing night in a hotel for which I paid a high daily rate. This is a warning to future guests to avoid this hotel. I am sure it will be wonderful when the remodeling is finished. But right now it is unsafe and unhealthy to stay there. Management should be ashamed that they are putting profits before the health and safety of guests. We desreved better!

Beautiful place to end our vacation

Lots of character in this hotel. The room is tight but my girlfriend loved its eccentric vibe. The toilet is tight against the shower, but otherwise the bathroom is great. There was a nice little balcony that was very nice as well. The only cons were the mattress was a little worn out and there was no fridge. The area around the hotel was amazing for restaurants - so many great options and each one a very unique cuisine and style.

Wow our stay here was incredible! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone in the hotel spoke English which was not expected but definitely a plus. The location was great, very close to metro. I forgot to book an extra day and they were expecting my room for someone else, they called me very politely to tell me my things were still there and helped me find a new room somewhere else because they were fully booked for the night. They even accommodated transportation offering various routes, helped me gather my items. The bartender Amelie was also so friendly and helpful during our stay, she got us a reservation to a restaurant that was fully booked. She gave us tips on places to visit and helped me figure out the metro (I had never used the metro before) all while serving delicious cocktails! I will definitely return to this hotel. 10/10 recommend!

The hotel is nice, it has been nicely decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is tasty, specially the scrambled eggs and the confit tomatoes. The beds are comfortable and clean.
The hotel is very well located, close to metro stations and to nice restaurants, cafes and shops.
My only negative comments refers to the cleanliness of the carpet and the bathroom. The carpet had stains, and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning.
It is evident that everyday cleaning happens, as the bathroom looks clean at a first glance, but more hours (than everyday cleaning) are needed to scrub corners of the shower cubicle and tiles.

Overall the property was good. It was clean and the staff was kind & helpful. The decor is very nice. It was pretty quiet which I also enjoyed. There is a cocktail bar downstairs but I did not get to try it.

My dislikes were that the only food they have is breakfast and I did not enjoy it at all. It was very limited and bland. They don’t even have snacks for guests to purchase. So that was very inconvenient. The hotel only has 1 iron which was a bit inconvenient seeing that my clothes had been bunched up in luggage and I had to give the iron to another guest. Other than this my stay was pretty good. I would recommend this hotel but just keep those things in mind.

We found this place unexpectedly, and what a treat!!! The staff is so kind, we felt very welcome. It is definitely worth buying the breakfast buffet!!! The TV only has French options mostly but who is in Paris to watch TV!?

The decor was beautiful and the new bar was lovely. The area was very alive, great for those looking for some good nights out. Try the Chinese food place Qiao Jiang Nan, about a 10 minute walk :)

Fantastic small boutique hotel in a great location. 1 minute to Notre-Dame-de-Lorette metro station. Great range of cafes and restaurants around the immediate area. The room was a reasonable sized double. You're are only there to sleep etc, so this was fine with me. I would definitely stay here again.

For a short, inexpensive stay in Paris this is a good hotel. The cleanliness could have been better and this is a budget hotel; it is a bit rough around the edges. Our bed was very firm but comfortable enough. They provided a fan which was needed during an unseasonal heatwave.
The location is good but a bit noisy if you’re on the street side of the hotel as there’s a few restaurants opposite. It’s an hours walk down to the river and main attractions but right by a metro station which was handy.
The lady on reception is wonderful, incredibly helpful and speaks excellent English which was great as our French is lacking! She is very knowledgeable and gave great guidance for a few queries we had.
We enjoyed our stay and felt we had good value for money.

And bonus was the great location - very close to two different metro station and walking distance from Gare du Nord plus some of the major sightseeing areas like Palais Royale and Opera. I loved everything about the hotel! I like the very parisian character of the room and the lobby! I also loved that we had a real balcony! The staff was always nice and helpful! They even let us deposit our luggages since we arrived too early for check-in. Our stuff stayed safe in the room. The hotel was in a really convenient location, close to the metro and there’s a lot of food options around the area. Montmartre is just within reach too!

The hotel and rooms have been recently renovated and are fantastic - we stayed in a family room for 3 people. The elevator is small, it can only carry 2-3 persons at a time, definitely an interesting experience but it worked nonetheless. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to assist any of our needs during our visit to Paris.

A boutique-like hotel. The hotel was clean and in a nice neighborhood. Not quite as touristy as other areas so not as many English speakers. It has about 7 floors and one very small elevator, so it would not be good for anyone with mobility restrictions. The hotel advertises a bar, however it is no longer open. There are many cafes/restaurants which are very walkable. Bedrooms are small but adequate and bed was comfortable. Rooms were cleaned every day.

Like all Paris hotels, the space was small. The bathroom was a bit tricky too as the toilet was right by the door so we had to sit at an angle. Aside from these minor inconveniences, our 9 day stay was great. The staff were all so helpful and even went above and beyond to decorate our room on the day of our anniversary! That was super sweet of them and it really made the trip memorable for us.

Great little hotel in the middle of the Opera district, 1 block from the metro and great little restaurants in easy few minutes walk. Room is small and the elevator is tiny but room was cleaned every day with fresh linen. Have breakfast here - at 12 euro it’s a steal, eggs, sausage, bacon, cold meats, cheese, cereal, pastries, best buffet ever. Front desk were wonderful as were all the staff. Will definitely be back.

Rooms very small and basic but I was fully aware of this when booking.

Hairs left in shower but I always wear flip flops in the showers when I travel. Hairdryer isn’t even with bothering with as you would be there all day and still be left with wet hair.

Location is good and very central. Right next to a metro and bus access. Metro is great for getting around and travelling to the tourist spots.

Would I stay at this hotel again? Yes!

Overall super stay.
Location was good, approx 10 mins from Montmartre area snd 20 mins from Sacre Cour cathedrale.
Room's we're decent, excellently decorated and a comfy bed.

I like that it was close to many places, subways, restaurant, stores and tourist attractions.
I didn't liked, no good ac, no fridge and no iron in the room.

The hotel location was excellent, close to all amenities, 30 second walk to metro and 4 stops from Champs-Elysées!!
Small room but very clean and served our purpose. Staff very friendly and helpful. Female receptionist was superb with her knowledge and got us to our pick up point to come home on foot 😀👍
Great break would definitely recommend The Brittany Opera Hotel Paris

THE BAR WAS NOT OPEN DURING OUR STAY , THE AIR CONDITIONING DIDN'T WORK IN OUR ROOM AND WAS TOLD IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE RENOVATIONS BEING DONE TO OTHER FLOORS. THE PREFERRED DOUBLE ROOM WHICH I BOOKED WAS VERY SMALL ALONG WITH THE BATHROOM. HOTEL WAS IN A NICE LOCATION .

It was one of our worst experiences ever, we payed for a service that we didn't receive and faced inappropriate situations and on top of this the staff didn't show interest in solving any of our problems, I also wrote a letter to the director explaining everything with all the details and 10 days later I still didn't hear from anyone, very disappointing !!!

Below is the letter delivered to the managing crew and director of the hotel that sums up the major issues that we faced to which we didn't get any reply,

\" En tant qu'occupante de la chambre 318, nous avons envisagé plusieurs probleme des notre arrivé a l'hotel le 24 février et je pense que c'est de notre obligation de vous mettre au coutant,

Alors des notre arrive le processus du check in n'as pas été correcte et as pris plus de temps qu'il ne le fallait.
Deuxièmement le chauffage n'as pas été mis dans notre chambre la premiere nuit alors qu'on l'avait demandé.
De plus un de nos chargeur de telephone a ete pris de notre chambre sans qu'on le sache ce qui n'est pas du tout professionnelle et n'as pas été rendu qu'après deux jours.
En addition, le telephone dans notre chambre ne marche pas.
Et finalement, on a quitter a midi le chambre aujourd'hui, il est 8h du soir et la chambre n'as toujours pas été faite.
L'hotel était recommandé par un membre de la famille et vue les bonne remarque mise sur expédia on est vraiment choqué de cette experience, on paye pour un service qu'on ne reçoit pas ! \"

The street in front of the hotel was torn up workers arrived early morning very noisy
When I arrived they said my room was ready but it was not cleaned. Man at front desk said on Tuesday the day I arrived that he would make a rate adjustment for all my inconvenience but the next morning he said that the manager was on holiday and he could do nothing. I’m very unhappy and I’m going to dispute the charge to my credit card company.

Cozy and great!

Had a great time here! Charming residential area that is quiet with lots of small markets and restaurants. Cozy room that fit two people and two backpacks with a decent amount of space to move around. Shower was a little finicky (would blast very hot water out of nowhere and cold water out of nowhere once). Elevator fits two people just barely. Would definitely come back as it is a fantastic value!

It was a lovely hotel it was just a shame there was work being down on the road outside hotel , they started drilling between 7 -7.30 Which wasn’t the hotels fault , the other thing was it should say on their website that the bar is not always open .

Room was extremely small. So called comfort room was dearly, dreary and miserable. No view. The receptionist claimed the bed was king, them when asked the second time, he claimed it was queen size then finally he admitted that the bed was a double.

Lovely French neighborhood!

Hotel was located in a beautiful neighborhood area with easy access to the metro. There were plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. The only curious thing about the room was that it had a tub and a hand shower but no shower. It worked for a couple of days but I’m not sure I would’ve liked it for a longer stay.
