I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was ideal as a solo traveller, tidy room and very quiet. The bathroom was nice too. Reviews of other hotels complained a lot of walls being thin but this was not the case here, I hardly heard any of the other guests and no noise from outside. Getting around Paris was easy from here too but does involve the metro to see the sights. It was also only a 15 min walk to a RER A station which is an hour to Disney if you’re planning a daytrip there. The area was quite quiet which is definitely a perk but there didn’t seem to be a lot of food options/bakeries/supermarkets which I expected to be surrounded with in Paris - particularly bakeries! My only other downside was I had issues with charging electrical devices - I only managed to be able to charge my phone, none of the other devices would charge, which was okay as I was only there for 2 days but if I was there longer would have had to raise it to staff as a problem. I would definitely stay here again though and recommend it as a hotel.

This little hotel is a charm, tucked away 15 minutes walk from all the venues in the Old City. Extremely clean and very walkable. A very full breakfast up on a terrace overlooking the area.
Be aware that there is a significant amount of nightly sounds as you would expect in a city that never sleeps.

Loved my stay here!

My stay in Paris was only enhanced by choosing this location and hotel. After my brother recommended staying in the 8th arrondissement, we moved forward with this hotel, based on the good reviews. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and spoke great English for those of us who were not as strong with our French. The breakfast was definitely worth it, and our room was spacious for the three of us. Definitely consider this hotel!

We stayed at the Privilege room as we needed the additional space for our big bags to be opened up. The unit was nice and quiet however the floor boards are a little creaky, otherwise the room is well renovated. The air-conditioning is centrally controlled meaning, if one needed cooler air, the window has to be opened (for a Oct stay). Near Gare St Lazare which is a 10 min walk and 2 local Metro stations one of which will bring you direct to Gare Montparnese. We tried the trains, Uber and taxis all of which was very convenient. For our departure to the airport, the reception which was ran by nice people arranged a taxi in a fuss free manner for us.

Great stay

I booked this hotel as an emergency as I locked myself out of my apartment. The staff wasn’t the friendliest or the most welcoming but then when I got into the bedroom my perspective of the hotel changed, it was beautiful and clean. I also slept very well and had trouble leaving the room the next day as I wanted to stay in that bed forever.
It is in an excellent location in Paris.

Great location, service and setup need improvement

The hotel had a fire alarm when I arrived, so it took a while to sort out. The staff is very friendly, but because there was a single person at the desk and nobody else, the fact that this person was dealing with a client over the phone meant I waited almost ten minutes to get the key to my room.

The room is very small, but comfortable and clean. The problem is the shower, shich has a half door, probably on the assumption that no water will spill out through the other half. Not true. These cost-saving measures mean that what should be a small modern hotel comes across as a cheap \"TimHotel\" knock off (a local chain).

All that said, the location (150 yards from two metro stops, 300 yards from the Elysée and from St Augustin) makes it a good choice, especially in the eighth arrondissement, where average prices for one night are double the one charged here.

Bed was comfortable with good range of pillows.
Only issue was that the room was hot and had to open the windows to cool it down, air con was lacking / impossible to understand.

Over all recomended, but get a high floor rooom if you want to open the windows.

Nice hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Busy during the day but at night it was a ghost town. Which was a bit scary when traveling alone. I don’t think it was dangerous but I was hesitant to stay out too late. But the hotel itself was good. Rooms were small just a bed and small table, no real closet, and small shower. But I’m 5’1 so it wasn’t bad at all for me.

Great check in with a fantastic gentleman who looked after us very well. Upgraded one of the rooms which provided more space.
The other room was older however very clean with slight damp smell but otherwise comfortable.

I wasn’t too sure about this hotel being a 3 star but it exceeded our expectation and cleaner than some of our 4 star hotels we had on this trip in Europe.

Where to begin with this awful place...the walls are paper thin between rooms, I heard every word of conversation each night from my neighbors, and they weren't talking at an unreasonable level. I reserved two rooms for me and my friend, we both had our 'do not disturb' placards on our doors, we were travelling abroad and didnt want someone in our rooms with access to our things - the hotel ignored the signs and cleaned the rooms anyways, and hid the dnd placards. When I called the front desk to ask why they ignored their own signs, she stated they checked to see if we were sleeping first and they didnt see the problem since we werent there, I then read them the language that is on their dnd door signs which states 'i do not want my room cleaned' - she said sorry and hung up. Then there's the 'room service' - after decades of travel, I've never seen anything so awful. I ordered a beef dish with potato salad and a soda, which costed about $40 US - what I received was some rolled up cold lunch meat and potato salad so vinegary it was inedible, it was in a plastic container as if they got the meal from a convenience store take out, this was bad food for the US, let alone Paris, maybe the worst food I've ever had anywhere, and for an outrageous price. The a/c in my room would shut off for no reason intermittenly and the unit made some horrendous noises as if it was leaking water. While the location is great, this was my worst hotel stay of all time

The hotel is very cozy, the rooms have enough space considering you are in Paris. They are exactly has you see in the pictures. Breakfast was good. Staff was really polite and helpful when we asked to leave our bags for the day as our flight was just in the evening.
Very central, close to the Opera and Madeleine. You can walk anywhere.

Great location for a quick stay

They are remodeling so it's hard to judge but the lobby so far looks good. So many ways to get to the museums and monuments from there. A few good restaurants and a monoprix close by for toiletries. Small but comfortable rooms with a breakfast bar downstairs. I would love to stay again.

While the hotel was nice, good location and staff seemed friendly and accomodating...I wouldn't reccomend anyone stay here as all of my cash was stolen out of my wallet. The staff memember who did this had to go through my bag, find my wallet, open it and take out my money...then put it back. It was all of my cash

We stayed here for 3 nights, small hotel on side street. staff were fantastic and room was lovely and clean. We had a triple room so space was not an issue. Loads of places to eat right round the corner (Chinese food).10 minute walk to the champs élysées. Metro station is around the corner and is a few stops from champs élysées, Eiffel Tower and louvre.

My stay in Paris was extended by a day due to a cancelled flight. The Hotel I was staying in was booked so I had to make other arrangements. I scoured the internet and based upon reviews and pricing chose the Haussmann. Upon arrival I was told to take the elevator to 5 and then I would have to carry my large bag up the spiral staircase to 6....NOT IDEAL! I got to the room which was pleasant enough and settled in to get some work done. I logged into the WIFI on my phone first then sat down at the computer. In order to use the WIFI on my computer i had to disconnect from the phone, not only a nuisance but just ridiculous!! I would not pick this hotel for a business trip or personal, it's a bit too far off the beaten path for me.

For the price this hotel was great. As for most of paris the room was small but clean and it did the job. The maid and the pillows were the major issues. The pillows are lumpy and hard. The maid is very aggressive she knocked and entered despite us telling her we were still in the room. She also deliberately left the heat on and shorted us a towel because we had not left a tip that day.

Stayed in the Superior room for one night and changed to Privilege room for another 2 nights. Superior room is a bit small so we request to change to their Privilege room which is much spacious. Both rooms are cleaned. Reception is very helpful and friendly. Will stay again if I have chance to visit Paris.

Cons : Don't be surprised when you see the lift, it's super small. Can only fit 1 person with luggage or max. 3 persons without luggage.

The hotel was clean. Room was nice. Hotel staff were incredible helpful, polite and available. Surrounding neighborhood is bustling during the day but quiet and serene at night. Lots of cafes and restaurants within in a few minutes walk. Hotel is located close by to many sites and attractions in Paris. Easy access to metro station, cabs and all major tourist locations are within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend the hotel.

Great bang for the buck

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was a pretty good experience. It doesn't have a large lobby and I never ate anything there (so I can comment to their cooking skills). All I can tell you is that for the location (a few blocks from Champs Élysées in the 8th Arrondissement) you can't beat that price. Rooms were super clean and bathrooms are modern, nice-looking. The receptionist was always very helpful in giving us directions. Overall, I would recommend it to my friends/family.

I was very happy with this hotel having read negative reviews on Tripadvisor. My room was on the top floor which gave it a particular Parisian feel. It was small like other hotel rooms in Paris, but clean and looked newly renovated. TV small but I didn't use it, free WiFi in the lobby and I think they had free soft drinks there too but I didn't use that either. Location is great and staff was helpful. All in all very happy.

Decent option, with a few quirks

This was a great middle-ground hotel for a quick stop in Paris. While the size was typical of Parisian hotels, fixtures were all updated and bed was very comfortable - despite staying in a \"single\" the bed seemed to be a size between a twin and double, which was a nice surprise. The location was decent - any hotel in central Paris is going to be well-located; this one was not immediately next to any of the top tourist sites but was just a 5-10-minute walk to either La Madeleine or the Champs-Elysees. Only two points of caution: one, it's next to a public preschool so during the day with the windows open, you hear a lot of children's voices; two, the AC was not sufficient overnight for even my late May stay - there's a nice breeze if you open the window but then you get street noise and will be woken by early-morning garbage trucks. All in all I would consider staying here again, but could certainly find better options with a little bit of work.

The hotel is in a great location, 2 minutes from a central area and very quiet.

The only issue, the room was very small. Take the size of the queen bed and add 18-20 inches on each side.

Might be normal for Paris, but as a Canadian, I felt a bit tight. That being said, how much time do you actually spend in your room when you are in Paris?

Down a quiet street, close to Rue du Rivoli and Place de la Concorde. Rooms on the small side for such a price. I went during Paris couture week, so the price was exhorbitant for such a small hotel. Breakfast was dire: cramped conditions, cold hard mini baguettes and hard croissants, although the coffee was good. I recommend the Express breakfast at Euros 8, rather than the 'buffet' at Euros 18! Or go out to a local café. The 'Bar' is non-existant and there is nowhere downstairs to really relax. But the staff were particularly nice and helpful, and the rooms (although small, especially the doubles) were spotless with very comfy beds and pillows. If you have heavy luggage and have a room on the 6th floor, the very 'cosy' lift only goes to the 5th! Don't pay extra for the 'privilege' room, it isn't much roomier.

Great location. Small but just perfect for a weekend in Paris. Bathrooms are nice and the beds are decent. Good location, 5 min walk to champs élysées and great shopping near by. It's just hard to find taxis in Paris and the hotel is on small streets so a little hard to walk back to.

Good value.

The rooms were excellent. The staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The 'common areas' wer scant and the overall impression of the foyer was disappointing. The hotel facilities were very good and of a high standard but a bit lacking in charm. Not the best location but convenient and within easy walking distance of all key tourist attractions except Montmartre.

Not Quite Midnight in Paris

Anything other than the \"Privilege Suite\" will be a disappointment. We upgraded to the second level and the room was a huge disappointment. The air conditioner didn't work and we had arrived at 11:30 PM. However, the gentleman at the desk provided us with an upgrade to the \"Privilege Suite\" which was the type of accommodations we had initially thought we were getting based on the website.

Okay for a very basic hotel.

This hotel is truly very average--a bed, a clean bathroom, fair shower. Not very big for two adults but manageable if you are organized and don't have much luggage. I would not stay here in summer or hot weather! The room was very warm when I arrived. The wall mounted \"air conditioner\" blew warm air even when the A/C choice was pushed. When I told the front desk clerk, he shrugged his shoulders and gave us an electric fan to use for the rest of our stay. We did get a bit of cool air when we opened the windows, but we had to shut them at night to deafen the noise of the motorbikes that went right under our windows well until midnight and after!
The hotel is a bit far from the major sights so be prepared to walk or use the Metro. The Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful, as well as a few of the front desk staff. However, when we checked out on a rainy morning and asked the desk clerk to get us a taxi, he pretended to call one and then said, \"No taxi.\" We ended up walking almost 1 kilometer to the Roissy Bus for Charles de Gaulle airport. NOT FUN! I will not stay at this hotel again.
One more thing--do not eat breakfast here! VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

Very bad experience

The double rooms are VERY SMALL and hardly enough for one person. Uncomfortable beds. No guest areas. Small lobby with a tiny area for breakfast. No restaurant or bar. The pictures do not show the real picture of this hotel. Though, the staff is helpful and very polite. Location of hotel is okey. Not even close of being a four star hotel. Ask for privilege room or superior double room, other wise book another hotel.
