Great location and very friendly staff who will speak French and English. Breakfast was provided and very good with cheese, fresh pastry selections, eggs, charcuterie and of course coffee. Recommendation is to Metro into Poissoniere (Line 7) or Bonne Nouvelle (Line 8 or 9). Balcony overlooks Sacre Coeur which lit up at night is beautiful.

We felt the location of Hotel Paradis was great for walking and getting to the metro stops and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was very small, especially if you’re traveling with luggage, and there were no usable outlets in the bathroom for curling irons or straighteners.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Paradis during my trip to Paris. One of the biggest pros: location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Gare du Nord, which made arriving by Eurostar easy. This hotel was also close to the metro station, which made it easy to get around the rest of the city very convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-in was smooth. My room was clean and had everything I needed. One thing is that the elevator was really small but that’s to expect with older Parisian buildings. Overall, solid stay and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel situated in an area with access to lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Metros a 5-10 min walk away.

We booked a Superior room with balcony and were given a room on 5th floor
Staff on reception always pleasant , friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately work was taking place at the hotel building opposite and building covered in tarpaulin , noise woke us early with banging each day . We were not aware of this prior to booking.
The room :
Bed was very comfortable, room serviced each day if you wish.
A little dark, Dingy and old fashioned, decor and very small. Room lighting was not good.
A tiny home made corner cupboard which you are unable to hang long items such as dresses etc , had to hang these on the wall hooks.
No draw space at all other than two shelves in wardrobe, a long narrow shelf for tea ( no coffee provided just two teabags for two of us , shame if you want a drink in the morning, and no milk or sugar provided!!)
Sockets what there were are not well placed 1 only on one side of bed nothing to other side , 1 socket for kettle and small lamp ! So you need to unplug to charge phones etc
Only other socket was outside bathroom on corridor part but no lights provided so very dark and no good for drying hair and getting dressed , you had to half open the bathroom door to see anything but couldn’t then see your whole self in the mirror , not ideal at all

The staff were lovely. Before arriving I spoke to two members of staff who could not have been more accommodating.
I needed an iron on arrival, and they immediately provided this along with an ironing board.
My son brought a pizza from a nearby eaterie and even asked if he would like a pizza cutter.
Would go back again.
Very near the Gard Du Nord.

We stayed here for 5 nights in late July 2024, the hotel and the staff were excellent! Very easy to get around the city but located in a cool neighborhood with great food, drink, and shopping options all around. We had 2 adults and 2 children and the room was snug with all of our luggage but very nice and functional. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff treated us like family the whole time! Very quick access to several different metro lines to be able to get anywhere in Paris quickly. We would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Nice place.

Nice hoyel close to a main train station only a 13 min walk. Booked 3 delux rooms with a queen bed and a pull out couch. 2 rooms were for 3 people one for 2 people. They wanted to charge an extra 60 euros a night to use the pull out couch for rhe room with 2 people although i had paid the same for each room. Else rooms were nice and clean great air-conditioning. The elevator broke for our checkout so had to carry lots of luggage down 3 flights of steps.

I don't really have any major complaints, but two changes would make this hotel much greater. There was nowhere to pull up and unload my luggage from the car. I wish there was a spot or two in front of the hotel to do so. Also, I spent almost 50 Euro on breakfast one morning for 4 people that consisted of purely the basics. There were no hot food options, and there was no wait staff. I could have sent the same or less on a hot breakfast somewhere else. Other than these two things, our stay was excellent.

Hotel in great location but seems that they’ve given a dingy old hotel a lick of paint and marketed it as ‘boutique’
Walls are paper thin. Could hear everything next door above and below. Some lights and plug sockets did not work. Bathroom door did not close, no anti slip mat in bath/shower ( quite dangerous ). All in all wouldn’t have paid more than 70 euros a night, so for 320 euros for 2 night stay it’s massively overpriced for what it is.

Lovely area, about a 5 minute walk to the metro where it’s only about 15 minutes to most main attractions. Didn’t seem to be very many varied restaurant choices in the area, mainly Italian, Asian, burgers or more upmarket but perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. Staff very efficient and helpful, able to look after our suitcases after we checked out and printed pages we needed to visit attractions etc. Room quite small, as expected and very comfortable and clean.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful they were really great & friendly. Hotel was clean & there were 2 sets of complementary toiletries provided - 1 for each of us - think it was shower gel, moisturiser and shampoo. There was also a bottle of water each in our room on arrival.
The room was small (only one person could walk around the beds at a time) but nicely decorated, warm and nice & quiet. There is a nightclub along the street but we didn’t hear any noise from it, although we visited mid week.
Location was ok it was within walking distance of Gare du Nord, the Louvre and Sacré Cœur (approx 25 mins to each). The nearest metro station was around 15 mins walk. We certainly covered some miles during our trip!

Excellent stay. I loved the USB ports next to the bed, the rain shower in the modern bathroom, the hardwood floors in the Alpine room, lots of power outlets and bottled water. The only thing I didn't like was the pillow was too soft.

What sold me initially was that the #10 tram stopped directly in front of the hotel from the airport. The Leoneck's location was great for both that tram in front of the hotel and walking to all key parts of the city.

You could get can get a 10CHF credit for the restaurant by skipping housekeeping.

The entire combination of location, service, room and amenities make the Leoneck a really solid choice. I often stay at more chain hotels so I know what I'm getting, but was very impressed and would not hesitate to return or suggest the Leoneck to friends and colleagues.

Flew into Paris and we’re leaving from the Gare du Nord the next morning. This hotel was conveniently located for a quick walk to the train station in the morning. It is an old building with sloping floors. Our room was on the 6th floor and had sloping ceilings with large beams and eclectic decor. It was a large room with separate bedroom and a foldout couch if needed. The shower was great. Bed was comfortable with nice quality linens. Very quiet room. Breakfast was a nice assortment of breads, cheeses, meats, fruits, yogurt, etc. The elevator is quite tiny and the wallpaper camouflages the door numbers. Quirky in a fun way.

The hotel on the hole was ok, but it was very noisy! You could here the lift door being slammed shut most the night, people walking down the stairs and in the court yard outside building work was going on and they were making lots of noise. The shower was pretty poor also. The staff were good and it’s a great looking hotel

Wonderful boutique hotel

The staff were absolutely wonderful and the hotel is simple but with plenty of character and charm. It was only a short walk to a metro station so would happily stay in the area again. The only drawback was that the old building carried the sound of creaky floorboards in the early morning - but I'm a particularly light sleeper and ear plugs solved the issue.

The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were tremendous. However, the hotel was situated right near a night club, so we could hear partygoers from our room. I'm a heavy sleeper so I was okay, but just keep that in mind when booking. Additionally is sounded like the water mains were running through our floorboards or something because everytime the room next to us turned on their tap or shower, we could here a really loud noise running through our room. However, all that being said, it was a great hotel.

All the staff were very friendly and went out their way to make our stay more comfortable.

Room was clean, bright and well equipped. Rooms cleaned every day. There is 24hr reception.

We enjoyed a night after arriving on an overnight flight. Walking from Gare du Nord isn’t fabulous, but walking in other directions is nice. The hotel was very clean and had both AC and an elevator. The bed was very comfortable after our long journey.

We had a nice stay at the Paradis. The staff were amazing and bent over backwards to please us. Nothing was ever too hard or a problem. Our room was small but we loved every moment. It was a safe neighbourhood, friendly and easy to access all the landmarks we wished to see. Great food and shops in the local area too. So much choice.

This was a nice hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful; however, there was one thing that I didn't like. The lighting!!!! The lighting was so low, you could barely see.

They need more lights! The low lighting is ridiculous. I wasn't there on a romantic trip so I found it very annoying.

Also, the bathroom floor kept getting wet up because the glass did not block the water from the shower.

Worst Hotel In The World I arrived & I had no room

I arrived to the Hotel and I had no booking, the hotel had cancelled it without contacting me. I have stayed in this hotel before because it is cheap. But the Hotel Staff is really rude and they don't care about anything because it is Paris and they think they will always have guest to treat them bad. The rooms are small and are not comfy at all and the internet doesn't works properly. And if you will not like to have an experience like mine: arriving at midnight and no having a room when you Pre-Paid the hotel one month before. Please don't stay in this hotel.
The manager was really rude her name is Amel Dunker, she did nothing but nothing to help us, she just said Im sorry but you have no room in this hotel because I cancelled it. How can someone cancelled a pre-paid booking?

Cool design hotel on a budget

Got a great rate on a cool design hotel. Hotel itself is in excellent condition, well-kept, clean room and a bit more spacious than I expected for a Parisian hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. The immediate neighborhood was fine, and had two great restaurant/bars right next door. But the neighborhood surrounding the nearest Metro stop was a bit seedier, and it's almost a 10 minute walk to that closest stop. Wish transit was a bit more convenient.

WiFi worked in the lobby, but was wholly lacking in our room.

Overall, it's a great hotel, cool design inside, and the price was right when we booked.

Only stayed one night as catching Eurostar to London. Great location for train station. Area is 'up and coming' and very 'arty' but has lots of trendy cafes and bars within walking distance. Room was bigger than usual for a European city centre and very comfortable. Did not have breakfast so unable to comment but looked like there was a standard continental buffet available for purchase.

This is my second stay at this hotel - we came back because the location was so convenient - just a 10 minute walk from Gare Du Nord, close to good restaurants and not far from the Metro.

I always make a fair attempt at French but the check in staff all speak good English so they save me any indiscretions, the check in was quick and all of the staff are friendly and polite.

The breakfast is basic but nice, although I do feel it's very overpriced for what it is.

The rooms are clean and well presented.

My only complaint on this occasion was the A/C, which didn't appear to be working - I only found this out when I was sweltering in bed and tried to turn it down, I tried to open the window but because it opens on the inside it meant having the curtains open, which made the room too bright to sleep, my colleague had the same problem so I would say make sure you check this before you go to bed.

First time to Paris

From the website, I thought I booked a three star hotel close to train station. It urned out to be a very small B&B. It's my first trip to Paris and I do not read nor speak nor understand French and this area makes me feel very uncomfortable. I do not feel safe walking on the street after dark since people hanging out on the street staring at you when you walked by. I do not feel safe and I just want to go back to my room and lock the door. Quite some resturants in this area and you heard all kinds of noises late in the night till day light. I heard people next door arguing at 4:00am though I do not understand what they said. The elevator is so small, it takes only one person and his luggage, no more. Basically, I used the stairs which is also very narrow. The staff are very friendly and helpful but overall speaking, I can not say I like the hotel room. I will not stay in this area next time when I visit Paris. BTW, I was not able to adjust the temperature in the room even they do have a airconditioner inside the room. I sweat a lot the first night and I did not sleep much second night as well. I paid USD 190 per night (including tax) and it's totally not worth it.

Very disappointing

Not the best, considering I paid 180€ per night for the room. Receptionist was very gruff at the entrance. He couldn't have cared less that someone was checking in. I don't think he even said hello. I was not informed, when I booked, that the room that I was staying in was on a floor above the last floor that wasn't accessible by elevator. Luckily I am a strong & capable woman, but if I wasn't, it would have been difficult hauling my large suitcase up the last staircase. The windows to my room were covered in loose plastic sheeting meaning that the room was dark and you couldnt see outside. Really, quite a disappointing stay and a place I really would not recommend.

Room had issues when we arrived:
Curtain askew and broken (partly disconnected from wall)
Bathroom circular mirror missing
Thin walls
Uneven floors
Water in toilet would get sucked in/reflushed if another toilet in the building flushed as well

Day 2, our keycard couldn't turn on the power in the room and had to be fixed

Housekeeping was not great. Took them 3 days to take action on the curtain, showing lack of attention to detail despite the trendy interiors.

Fancy toiletries not refilled
Had to personally ask for water heater and cups for the room
Welcome bottled water only on first night
The cleaner even left his/her cleaning schedule in the room with our towels during the last day

Elevator was tiny, the climb can be difficult on a tiring day.
Odd rule of having to deposit the keycard every time (ours was also chipped for some reason)

Overall could have been better if they had focused on service, cleanliness and housekeeping instead of superficial decor.

Great location, good sized room and bathroom, real boutique feel. However very dark!! And some lights didn't work which was really frustrating. There were renovations being done at the time and therefore scaffolding in place around the building. Didn't really impact the stay as the view out of the window would have been sort of rubbish regardless. Good value for money and overall a good stay. Would have rated higher but the lights were really an issue.

The lobby and the breakfast were fine. The room had tape around the window, I assume to keep out the cold air. The lights didn't work - we used a desk lamp to see.

Very charming hotel in a convenient location

Very charming hotel. Close to our concert venue and in a quiet neighborhood. From our room we could not hear any street noise. We slept on very comfortable bed. The room was smallish but cozy .We were very satisfied with our stay.

Great location, lovely little hotel

I've stayed in quite a few three star hotels in Paris, usually for business, and this is one of the nicest.
The location was great - 10 minutes' walk from Gare Du Nord, and 5 minutes from the nearest Metro.
It's situated next to a great restaurant, and across the road from a lovely cafe / bar, so you don't have to go far for lunch, drinks and dinner.
The staff were helpful and spoke English so I didn't have to torture them with my rather limited Francais.
The room was clean, with nice toiletries in the bathroom (although shower cap would have been a welcome addition).
My colleague and I would both stay at this hotel again.

Half Term Treat

My son, myself and my 6 year old grandson have just got back after spending two nights in the Hotel Paradis, and what a lovely time we have had! It is a typical French hotel, we had a large twin room with sofa bed on the very top floor, and had a superb view of Paris out of the skylight window, the room was pristine and the beds were lovely and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Chairs a hit

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on business. Room ok and bed comfortable. Trying to fit in the lift with luggage was somethuing of a challenge. Covering the doors in to each floor with the same wall paper as the walls was rather dissorientating and somewhat intriguing as a design concept.
The neighbourhood is fairly close to the Gare Du Nord and an interesting mix of shops and bars and cultures. A good location.
Great bar/restaurant opposite and the lively bar next door was very popular with a young cool crowd.
My colleague was very delighted with the chairs in the breakfast room. Still not quite sure why...
A fairly standard hotel that was relatively good value when booking via Expedia.

Horrible hotel!

I am from America and my friend and I picked this hotel for our trip to Paris. When we got to the hotel the guy at the front desk said that I only booked a one bedroom hotel and on my expidea booking I clearly paid for a two bedroom hotel. We where going to stay for 4 nights but he said because there was 2 of us he needed to charge us extra 76€ a night so we decided we would only stay one night. The hotel was 7 floor and the elevator only went to the 6th floors and the front desk man put us on the 7th floor. So we had to drag our huge suitcases us a flight of stairs. they treated us really badly and tried to scam us just because we where foreigners. It was in a great location but that wasn't worth the terrible service we received.

Great Boutique Hotel

Great boutique hotel with friendly and attentive staff. We stayed in room 703 which had a view of the Eiffel Tower, was a good size and very comfortable. The whole hotel has a great look and feel to it. Excellent central location with two Metro stations within short walking distance making it easy to get around the city.

Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Review of Paradis

I felt the room & hotel to be basic. The walls were thin, the hotel noisy at times when most guests want to sleep...especially when the doors slammed. The doors slam very loudly! Also, there was a night club or pub very close that; on the three weekday nights I stayed there..2 of those nights was very loud that could be easily heard in my room and I was on the third floor.

Near to eurostar station

On arrival we have very good welcome from staff and impressed by cleanness.But we had bad experience as there was no hot water in the hotel on arrival day in the evening.We reported to reception and informed it would be sorted out by morning.Next day again in the morning there was no hot water for wash.We rang expedia and they would speak to manager about it.We have to check out to go to our next destination in spain, without any shower/bath during our stay for one day as there was no hot water in hotel.Athough Manager was apologetic and promised we would have 30% bill reduction and this would pass on to expedia.To date no refund has been passed on to me.

Good enough. Room comfortable and reception area nice. Lift v claustrophobic; room for one! Good location just a 10 minute walk fom Gare du Nord and in a trendy area of cafés and bars. Worked out well for a one night stopover. Overall decent vfm.

A bar opposite the hotel and close to room window was alive till dawn and the noise from the bar disturbed our sleep. Window glazing was too inferior to prevent noise ftom outside.

Reasonably sized and very clean. Quite basic, there are no tea or coffee making facilities, but guests are provided with bottles of water and some toiletries.

Well positioned: the hotel is within walking distance of both the Gare du Nord and all major sights.

Paris hotel

Wonderful location we were able to walk all over Paris. Close to a variety of shops and restaurants. The only drawback was having to pay to park which I imagine you would have to do no matter where you stay in Paris. The staff was helpful and the entire hotel was spotless. Is definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Paradis. The hotel is close to the metro and the staff speaks English and they were very helpful. As expected for Paris the elevator is tiny but functional. Our room was clean. Overall I will stay there again.

In a good area but on the edge of a sketchy area of town which as two females we had to be a little careful in the area.
