Our overall experience at the hotel was great. The location is very central, close to the Metro, walkable to many attractions, lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptional, went above and beyond to assist us and were extremely helpful. The balcony view from our room was beautiful with plenty of space to enjoy a drink. The room was small for two guests, but we were expecting that and were not bothered as we were out most of the time but unfortunately, the layout of the room was not functional and a bit dangerous. The one step going into the room was not noticeable whatsoever and we fell off the step the first few times upon entering the room. If the bed had not been so close to the entry to break our fall, we would have gotten hurt. Again, the step by the entry door was also close to the washroom door, which caused us to trip when exiting the toilet. There was no step going up to the balcony and it was difficult going in and out of the room without tripping on the door frame. The one cabinet in the bathroom vanity was loose, not mounted on any hinges, and fell every time we bumped into it. We enjoyed our stay and would return if a better laid out room was available next time.

A gem of a hotel in a great location. Very easy to navigate into the main attractions from the metro station right outside the door. The rooms were spotless and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice to set you up for the day ahead. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Hotel Les Theatres is the perfect pieds-a-terre to explore Paris. Our room was comfortable and well cared for. The staff.are delightful and extremely helpful. We arrived well ahead of early check-in so they had our room prepared quickly and allowed us to access the brakfast buffet while waiting.
The breakfast was always excellent, including delicious homemade breads and pastries, lovely charcuterie items and made to order eggs among the list of offerings.
On our last night the desk staff arranged a taxi for our return to the airport. As the taxi was late arriving in the morning the new concierge established contact with the company to determine their arrival.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Théâtres and would go back.

The rooms were very small, and the shower was incredibly hard to get in and out of since the door opened inward to the shower. Their were two blow dryers in room and neither one would stay on long enough to actually dry hair and considering it was extremely cold during our stay, that was very inconvenient. Housecleaning staff was fine except there were water bottles in room that were never refilled, nor was the coffee. Front desk staff was just okay, not rude but not helpful either.

Hotel staff allowed others access to our room to take “photos” of it and test for “acoustics”.
The shower overflows after 2 minutes of use. The toilet is loud after flushing for hours sometimes. There were smears of dirtiness on the walls.

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff was supper nice and helpful, the rooms were super clean and very inviting. The hotel is also really well located close to transit, restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay there again.

Location is excellent. The bed is comfortable, and it’s quiet, so I had a good night’s sleep. There was an issue with the flushing mechanism in the bathroom, and the receptionist advised me to remove the main panel to resolve it. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of delicious pastries, loose-leaf tea, seasonal fruit, yoghurt, and nicely made scrambled eggs.
As the hotel wasn't busy, we were allowed an early check in and late check out free of charge.

Overall, I’d rate it 3 rather than 4 stars. Also, be mindful of the tourist tax — for a 4-star hotel, it’s €8.40 per person per day, which is quite high (though not the hotel’s fault, as they’re required to charge it).

Our second visit was just as nice as the first one two years ago. The room was very small but cozy. We had a balcony which honestly was amazing. The location is slightly away from the main tourist area, which gives you a better glimpse into Parisienne living. I truly loved the area itself. Alexine Boulangerie just around the corner is the kind of bakery you will never, ever forget. Updated bathroom was nice. We walked almost everywhere from this hotel, including the Louvre, but we like walking.

The receptionist is friendly, convenient location is nearby metro. The air conditioning is too noisy and not cool at all. The shower room is very tiny and the room height is under 6 ‘ . If you are tall guy over 5’9” that you should watch out hit the ceiling!

So good I extended my stay twice.

Incredibly comfortable bed and fun theatrical decor. The rooms are clean and larger than expected for Paris. The hotel is well located for public transport, restaurants and walking distance to a range of interesting areas. A bit out of the usual tourist crush which I enjoyed but still very accessible. A safe and colourful neighborhood. I ended up extending my stay twice and would definitely stay here again.

Staff was great building it's self a little tired, the AC could not keep up with 28-32c days. slow elevator, our shower door struggles to keep water in the shower. Nothing that would say don't go here but to be aware of. Perfectly fine for the price.

The hotel is not much from the outside, but inside is quite lovely. The room was small but very comfortable, and we had a patio which was nice to sit out on. The shower head wouldn't stay up (it was broken), which was a little annoying, and it took a little while to drain. I feel that these are minor details that could easily be corrected. The hotel is very conveniently located next to the metro. The breakfast was very good and the staff were good.

This is a great little hotel, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The bed was super comfortable. A few little FYIs: (1) The first room they put us in had a ceiling that was about 6 feet tall. I'm 6'4\" and couldn't stand up fully. They moved us to a room (the one with the angled ceiling in many of their pics) on the 7th floor (703), which is the top floor. We saw into another room at one point, and the ceiling in it was pretty low as well. (2) The elevator goes only to the 6th floor, and the 7th is accessed via a spiral staircase. (3) My only real complaint is that the AC didn't really work, and they admitted that it didn't. If we hadn't been in the top floor room, which had windows to get a cross breeze going, and if it had been any hotter (high was in the mid-80s), we might have been miserable. They did provide a fan, though. Despite this, I would stay there again for sure... as long as room 703 is available! :)

The hotel’s location is excellent — close to everything and ideal for exploring the area. However, the room itself was disappointing. We had booked a balcony room, which turned out to be the best part of the stay. The balcony was a great size and made the experience better than it otherwise would have been.
The ceiling in both the bedroom and bathroom was extremely low — just above 6ft — making it uncomfortable to move around. We found it difficult to get dressed or even brush our hair without hitting the ceiling. The bathroom was poor quality, with a strange smell coming from the shower and noticeable black mould. The shower head wouldn’t stay up on the pole, so we had to hold it while showering, which was especially inconvenient in the cramped space. The air conditioning barely worked and made little difference to the room temperature.
On a positive note, the staff were fantastic — friendly, polite, and helpful. When we requested an iron, it was delivered within five minutes. Unfortunately, the iron tripped the electrics twice. The first time it happened, we were told no one could fix it until the morning, leaving us without power for a while. Thankfully, it resolved itself by the time we returned from dinner. It happened again on our last day, but we were checking out early, so it didn’t affect us.

Walked in the room to find the ceiling was 5 inches above my head, there was black mould in the shower and the corners of the bathroom which was very disappointing. The coffee machine in our room was broken and hadn’t been emptied from the previous stay.

Very poor natural light into the room (I know that’s picky but when the room is painted dark blue the lack of light adds to the darkness)

The staff seemed very nice & willing to help, the hotel was just bad.

The bed was the best part as it was very comfy. Overall I was really let down by this hotel, the only saving grace was the big balcony & the fact we weren’t in it very long.

The property is nothing what it looks like on the photos in expedia. The ceilings are very low and the condition is deteriorating. I guess I was charged for price based on the location of the hotel in the city center area.

The property was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. As we arrived the fire alarm was going off due to someone smoking in their room. As we settled in the room the fire alarm went off again, we were on the third floor so it was down a very narrow staircase. During the night the emergency vehicle sirens were non-stop. I personally wouldn't stay again

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. It was in the perfect location with easy access to many major tourist locations while also giving us the feeling of a quiet neighborhood. The staff was extremely kind and helpful from the time of booking until our departure. The hotel is small but was perfect for our needs. We had a beautiful room with a huge balcony and access to a private sauna that was prepared just for us with a simple phone call to the front desk. I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Paris.

My only issue with the grounds.for our stay in mid December was excessive heat. It was diffic ult to get ready without sweating. It was a very warm period during our stay.

The location is a bit.outside of the most tourist.oriented part.of the city. It was nit unsafe, but it was noticavly rougher area than along the seine. There are some colorful people in the area, prostitutes homeless, etc, in December.

For myself and my wife it was an enjoyable area, one that provided a variety of experiences. Easy walking distance of the Lourve 20 minutes, and several famous streets. We strolled from the hotel down a wonderful street for.shopping and.rwstaurants, to the Lourve, along the Seine.to the Eiffel tower, to the arc de Triumph, down Champs Ellyses, and back to the hotel in an afternoon hike (about 8 miles).

All in all, a very real Paris experience, not a whitewashed tourist experience, which i would find boring.

Fine but won’t return

Doable as a place to stay but not good for the price we paid. Drain really stunk. Bed and room felt clean though. Husband couldn’t fully stand in room. Rust and grime in shower. Maybe this is in keeping with price when the price was lower but, during the rugby World Cup, the price was unusually high. I wouldn’t complain if I got it for a low price as then it would meet my expectation. As it happens I won’t stay again and would spend more for a nicer place

Large balcony had a great view of the city and was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Good location- super walkable to anything you need. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, but it felt more like a solid three-star rather than a four-star establishment. I appreciated the hotel's decor, and my room had all the necessary amenities. However, it was exceptionally small (I studied in Paris and I am well aware that this is common in Parisian hotels), with a small window and limited natural light. The room was situated on the seventh floor (bearing in mind that the elevator only goes up to the sixth floor), and the stairs were quite daunting. The surrounding area of the hotel is average, but it lacks safety and cleanliness. Additionally, although there are numerous dining options available, most of them tend to offer unhealthy fast food. It was challenging to find anything of decent quality.
