The hotel was great. The staff is very friendly. Always greeting you in the lobby. We were very thankful for a King Bed option and the very small elevator. The most trouble we had was not being able to get the air conditioning to work (even though it was cold outside) so we slept with the windows open during our stay. We were only able to find 1 English Channel on the tv, wishing we would've brought a streaming device. The hotel is near the metro station which makes accessibility to the city easy. Expect to get your steps in while your in Paris!

Our room and bathroom were small but clean and comfortable. Beds were good, air con worked but was a tad noisy. Shower a good size but floor got slippery once body wash was used. The breakfast room is very appealing and the food was fine. The lift worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the location, close to Strasbourg-St Denis and Republique metros and a number of eateries. Also a supermarket a short walk away. We felt safe in the area but weren't out late at night. We would stay at this hotel again.

We had a good stay over the New Year period at Hotel Moris. Good but pretty basic, what you would expect for the cost so we were happy. We liked the area actually as lots of options to eat out, cafes etc and walkable to things we wanted to see. Not in a super touristy area which was nice, as during December, Paris is extremely busy. Rooms are basic but nice. Bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom spacious. Little wardrobe to hang bigger items like jackets. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is an easy 15-minute walk from Gare du Nord and is close to several metro stops which makes it very easy to navigate to. The front desk staff were very nice and were accommodating to me when I had a mix-up with my travel schedule. The room was very nice and had air conditioning which was great in the hot summer weather. I had a great stay here overall.

Hotel Moris was a treat. We experienced ups and downs with politeness in Paris but Hotel Moris felt comfortable from day 1. Great restaurants right on the street, especially if jet lagged and rainy-yes,please. Decor and amenities were wonderful.Shower is great and has a hand wand and anti-fog mirror at the sink. Bed was comfortable and rooms were a good size. Treats and help were at the ready. I would stay again. Can’t comment on breakfast as was jet lagged and didn’t partake. My only hesitation to recommend is if you have mobility issues. There is a tiny elevator. Never waited long but if you need more room in the lift, this might be a limitation for you. We used the stairs often and had no issues.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely parisian feel full of beautiful, unique decor with lovely attention to detail. It sits in a great location surrounded by cute restaurants and a 4 minute walk to the metro. The room was quiet, clean and comfy with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again! Lovely little hotel. Very friendly staff and no fuss check in and check out. Situated in nice area, close to the metro. Our rooms faced out onto the quiet street where you enter the hotel. Great night’s sleep! Lots of nice cafes and restaurants only a few minutes walk. If travelling by car, check out the best parking options. Parking generally in Paris city center is of course not cheap. So balance cost versus location. Enjoy!

Lovely hotel in good location walking distance to two metro stops or a 20-25 min walk into the centre. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants near by.

The breakfast was fabulous! Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, gluten free bread/ crackers, lots of pastries cakes and breads , fruit, yoghurts, meats and cheese.

The only downsides were our bedroom was very small, perfectly fine if you’re not spending much time there but cramped with luggage and coats, shoes etc.
there was also some building noise we could hear in the mornings although not sure where this came from.

Nice short stay in hotel Moris

Picked this hotel from reading reviews and I was not disappointed. Was warmly welcomed by the receptionist who kindly upgraded my room. The room was well decorated and furnished, the bed was big and comfy. Although there are a couple of bars nearby, it wasn't too noisy, and I fell asleep easily. The location is nice and easy to get around the city.

Came for family 3 day stay. Location was great. Front staff very friendly. Looks modern and nice in lobby. Now-I know rooms in Paris tend to be small...and ive been to Paris a few times BUT...this was the tiniest room that id ever been in..rooms deceivingly tiny...barely room to move around . Although bathroom is ok, forget anything elsem miserable due to tiny room. I could not get an upgrade to a larger room unfortunately :( I left Paris and feel like i can breathe again.

Great location, close to many restaurants and shops. Lots of metro options as well. Reception staff very friendly. There is a lift/elevator which is a plus in Paris. The room decor was nice although the room itself was quite small /bathroom also quite tight. Kettle and teabags provided. There was a fridge /mini bar. Shower pressure was good. USB ports provided by the bed. Hairdryer available in bathroom. Didn’t try to breakfast so can’t comment on that. Quite expensive for a 3 star/other similar properties - paid around £150/night but it seemed like many hotels were booked out the week we visited so May have affected prices.

We have stayed at the Moris for some years, but have not for 3 years ( Covid). there has been a complete refurbishment of the rooms, and reception area, and it looks great. For a Paris centre hotel at its rating I do not think many could better. Recommended.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival I had to do a couple of zoom calls and it was seem less. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was nicely appointed with a lovely view of the courtyard. Breakfast in the cellar is lovely, simple but perfect to start your day. The location is superb, quite street with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and a quick walk to the subway. Pharmacie around the corner made getting a quick antigen test effortless before our afternoon flight.

What you see is what you get

I stay in Paris regularly for business and I always choose the Moris if they have availability. It's a 3 star hotel and it isn't pretending to be anything else. The staff are friendly enough, the breakfast is acceptable, the rooms are ok. The location is fine, with some bistros just around the corner and a metro station 2 minutes away.

Everything about the hotel so far has been consistently average or better than average, which for my purposes makes it excellent.

Awesome location. Awesome that we had three beds. Clean, friendly, and wonderful room. Easy access to Metro. Great shops and restaurant near by. Hard for taxi and Uber’s to find cause of street. Which helps cut down on the traffic so not a complaint. WiFi was down for two days in room. They did provide access to WiFi in lobby.

We went on a vacation to Paris and booked this hotel last minute because of a canceled reservation in another hotel. Glad we did. They were great. Miquel was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and the maid service cleans everyday. Room is small but we were hardly ever there. I would only ask that they change a small amount of money for guests.

We stayed at the Hotel Moris for 3 nights and would definately go back. Plus points - very clean; extremely comfortable beds; friendly staff; quiet during the night even though there were a few cafes close by; close to two metro stations. On the minus side (not much) - no kettle or free refreshments that we could see (this may be common in Paris) - there was a mini bar but we didnt use this; had to be careful with angle of shower as the screen wasnt big enough and the floor became wet easily; and I dont think our air conditioning was working (but we opened the windows). Overall it was a very good place. We liked it anyway!

Simple and convenient hotel north of le Marais

A small, charming and comfortable hotel facing a narrow street is conveniently located close to three metro stations and bus lines. The area Porte St Denis is full of good restaurants and also within a walking distance from Centre Pompidou. Canal Saint Martin, Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise, and Belleville are also reachable by foot. Hotel Moris is a simple and clean place and perfect for budget conscious travelers. Helpful and friendly staff make guests feel welcomed. The room and the entire facility is sparkling clean and well maintained. I would certainly consider staying this hotel again.

Positives: Great staff, everyone was extremely friendly at the hotel and eager to help if needed assistance. The room was cleaned regularly, etc. location of the hotel was awesome, can't beat it, tons of bars theatres, cafes nearby. Metro also extremely close as well.

The main issues we had was the terrible wifi, I mean it was bad. I could only stay online for 5 mins at a time with an extremely slow connection before being disconnected. Keep in mind that I also got no service connection through my portable wifi. There was also one outlet for electronics, which for some reason would not properly charge our phones or portable wifi. So we would wake up and find that our phones or portable wifi were not charged, which would make things difficult because we rely on our phones and wifi for navigation. Be warned that the rooms were a lot smaller than advertised, however I have no issues with it.

Overall would I come back? Yes and no for the location and price, absolutely. However, the hotel needs to address the single outlet issue in the room. If I could find a hotel that offers better amenities for slightly more money I would go for that hotel.

Worth a look

I can't complain about this hotel - it is close to walking distance to some worthwhile sites, and the Metro is two blocks away that has 3 lines going through - can get just about anywhere using them. Staff is good - always a person on duty - and they do speak English.Not sure if the breakfast is worth it (14 Euros)...but convenient. Right out the door there are quite a few choices to eat - nice little tapas bistro right there as well as more typical brasserie. There are also some mini-marts near, so you can pick up some wine & snacks. The wi-fi works fine - but you need to make sure you go into your browser and try to visit a site - it will then bring up the log in page. If you don't do that it will look like your wi-fi is connected, but not working for things like getting email. So log in! My only concern with this place is that the tub (that also has a shower) is very high - kind of a hurdle to get into it. Could be an issue for some. But overall is a decent place.

A well-appointed room in a good location

The rooms in this hotel are a good size - certainly bigger than some in Paris. Our room included a small table and two chairs, as well as as small desk and a small refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom appealing and functional.The location, in the Marais, is good - many attractions are within walking distance, and there a number of Metro stations nearby. The only downside to this hotel is the breakfast - it is in a noisy, unappealing, room in the basement, and offers a fairly limited selection of rather ordinary food for the price. Overall, however, this is a very good hotel at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay but it was a little further than walking distance to many tourist attractions which got expensive. Also, the wifi needs to be greatly improved, we were hardly able to maintain a connection and ended up going to a cafe to use our laptop. Other than that we enjoyed our time.

Value for money

Hotel is centrally located. 15 mins walk away from Gare Nord. Place is close to a subway station and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Hotel is very clean. Room is reasonably sized. They cleaned and provided new towels everyday.

Will stay here again soon.
