We enjoyed an excellent three night stay. The room wasn't huge but had everything we needed including a fridge. We were pleased that there was a proper wardrobe with hanging space, something which so many budget hotels lack. The big advantage of this hotel for us was that the metro station entrance was literally outside the door. From here (Republique) we were able to criss cross Paris by metro to whichever destination we wished. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful, including looking after our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Also there are any number of places to have breakfast or other meals and drinks just a stone's throw from the hotel.

Lovely hotel, room smallish but all I needed. Metro access out the front door, supermarket up the road. Easy to get to sights and halfway between Gare du nord and Gare du Lyon. A few restaurants close by. Would stay again.

The staff were both delightful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable, but the walls were thin and I could hear a neighbour's snores. On my final morning there was no hot water in the bathroom. Finally, it was very noisy with street sounds and Police sirens. This is not the hotel's fault, but the location next to a busy square prevented a good night's sleep.

This place was great. It is beautiful on the inside and our room was very clean and nice. Great value for what we paid and the room had everything we needed. The hotel reception clerk was awesome! Super nice man. He told us about local spots to eat and helped us find the closest laundromat. Super friendly and courteous. I wish I got his name, but his good nature made the stay all the better. Thank you so much! We will stay here again next time we are in Paris.

The room was always kept clean, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about our questions regarding how we could find our best way to get around to where we needed to go. The location of this Hotel was ideal as we were using the metro extensively to get around the city of Paris. We would recommend the Hotel based on these features.

Loved this hotel with a Metro subway stop 10 feet from the front door. Super convenient and well situated for tourists. Our TV would never turn on but we were so busy we never had time to ask the front desk about it. Room 603 was spacious with a comfy double bed plus a twin bed for our son.

Let me start by saying the service by the front office staff was top-notch

Everything after that was a disaster. We heard sirens all night. The walls were so paper thin we could hear, ordinary conversations, people, sneezing people flushing the toilet. And the metro ran right below us. Which shook the room.

This was a for the great value for the money. The metro station was literally two steps from the front door of the hotel and there were plenty of options for dining, shopping and anything you might need. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were small but the beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was loud outside you would find in most cities.

I stayed here with my daughter for four nights. The location is excellent with a metro stop right outside and numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. We had a room on the sixth floor with excellent views of Paris. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious.

Location was good, plenty of restaurants and metro stations close by,reasonably priced, Hotel outdated, thin walls, toilet filled to the brim when flushed, shower temperature fluctuates, staff were pleasant, the lift broke down for one day the stairs are difficult to climb.

Great location, walkable to touristy places, can literally come out and walk in any direction to see the city. The Metro station was right there, although we used Uber to go places. The room was very cozy with nice view of the street. The front of the hotel faces nice street, and it is a good neighborhood, felt very safe to walk around at night time. The pictures sometimes show the street in the back of the hotel with some gratify, don't be alarmed, it's out of the way, just tell your driver to drop you off at the front, they get confused by the directions in the map. Nice place right next to the hotel to get very French breakfast with good coffee.

Overall, the hotel was nearby to where we needed to be. However, the walls seemed paper-thin as we could overhear conversation in an adjacent room throughout our stay. Not the best place if you are looking to get sufficient rest, particularly as one is on a busy road, the walls are thin and the subway rumbles below...

Fridge wasn’t working when we arrived, had to for it to be fixed, which they did. Air con not good, couldn’t set it below 20c. When the room was over 22c had to manually switch it on and once it got back to 20c air con switched off. Never automatically switched on once the temp got above 20c so had to keep getting up during the night to switch on again and this only lasted for an hour. So was up several times during to night to be able to sleep comfortably. Never known an air con like it. Told reception about it but nothing was ever changed.
Two people in a room and only had one bath towel left after the first day.
Expensive for what we got as breakfast was not included.

Although the hotel is dated, it is in a great location. The Metro is just outside the door. The staff were super friendly. the rooms were clean and value is great.
Very centrally located. Notre Dame is a 20 minutes walk. Republic Square were the hotel is located is a very lively area with many good value restaurants around. Don't expect a 5 star hotel but you will definitely feel welcome. We will definitely go back next time we are in Paris

We stayed here in early June and had a deeply unsettling experience. On our first night, I woke up to hear two men speaking inside our hotel room—specifically, in our bathroom. I was shocked to find that it was the hotel manager and another staff member doing maintenance inside the room without knocking or notifying us. They claimed they didn’t know the room was occupied, despite us checking in earlier that afternoon and following the hotel’s key return process.

I reported this at the front desk and was met with indifference. The receptionist questioned why I was telling him and made no effort to acknowledge what had happened. I raised the issue again before check-out, but nothing was done. No apology. No follow-up. No accountability.

I would not recommend this hotel based on no regard whatsoever for basics guest privacy and the lack of professionalism in handling it.

The hotel rooms were large and clean, and staff were very helpful. There are plenty of dining options around the area (would recomend the walk to the canal St Martin). Also the travel options from Republique metro are vast (can get to Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame on one line).

The probable downside would be the area can be very loud at night, but it is part of staying in this area. It is I believe where most Parisians visit.

In the middle of the city, walking distance to restaurants, metro station nearby. However! The hotel room we got is small, very narrow doorway to the bathway door, 24\" wheelchair barely fit through. But very clean and helpful staff. There is step to elevator so wheelchair person must able to walk a few steps if you plan to stay in this hotel and make sure your wheelchair is 24\" or less in width.

Unfortunately our time in Paris had many challenges navigating the city but the hotel stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is very conveniently located steps from metro stations. Please be mindful this hotel is in the Republique area and this metro station has 10 different exits. The entrance directly in front of the hotel is exit 6 but when you are getting off of the metro, it is incredibly difficult to find the exits based on what line you were on.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel. The best part of our travel!
