Whilst my room was small, it had everything I needed. Good sized bathroom and a small desk and chair. I'm in Paris to be out and about seeing the beautiful city, not staying indoors! The staff here are very helpful and professional. There is an onsite cafe for breakfast. Good location within walking distance of some of the best shopping, museums and cafes.

I’ve stayed at the property before, and because I like the area for transportation, dining and convenience, I returned. The room is small, as I expected, but comfortable. Since I’m mostly out during the day, the size is fine.
While reception gladly accommodated my requests for water to made evening tea, it would have been nice to able to make hot water in the room.
I’d definitely return on a future visit to Paris.

I like the area the hotel is in. The rooms are small. Good enough for 2 people. I didnt think I need anything bigger than that. They keep the hotel clean but our shower stall despite it being enclosed in glass doors/walls water seem to still splash out of it making the bathroom floor wet. Staff is friendly and corteous. I’d stay here again.

Don't be fooled by the picture on the website of this hotel, the facility is dirty. Our first room smelled of dried vomit, by the 2nd night I had to ask to be moved to a different room because even our clothes are smelling like dried vomit. The room had 1 garbage can, no amenities at all whatsoever. I will never stay on an Ibis Hotel again.

The staff and location was great. We had a very pleasant stay. Not the biggest rooms but very cozy with great fixtures that take advantage of the small space. The elevator helped as well. We will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Paris.

Ótima localização, café da manhã muito bom (acordavamos de madrugada com o cheiro do croissant no forno 😋), staff mto atencioso, nos ajudou em tudo, cama extremamente confortável e tudo muito limpo. Fiquei 4 noites em um quarto pequeno mas me ofereceram trocar para um maior no dia seguinte. Wi-fi mto bom para trabalhar. Recomendo para poucas noites pela falta de utensílios como copo ou pratos e frigobar.

Good little hotel in Republique

Great location, easy access to metro and only a short walk to much of the cities sights and interesting areas.
Plenty of good places to eat and a good night scene.
Room was small but functional, clean and a lovely comfy bed.
I travelled alone for a work trip and an ideal choice. Would not recommend for double occupancy and space is at a premium.

Just want to say that this is a terrible hotel chain. The cleaning person broke our luggage and stole money from it. The manager didn't want to take responsibility and I we had to go to the police by ourselves with no help whatsoever from the hotel staff. The manager (Gregoire) mentioned that I had to deal with their insurance because the cleaning services are outsourced. There wasn’t a safe in the room and nobody informed us about the option of using the hotel safe. The fact the hotel clean their house while we got rob from their staff is unacceptable. Please do not ever stay in any of the ibis as they don’t care about their guests. This happen at the beginning of our trip and to lose money, ruined our vacation.

Bijou characterful hotel close to transport

The hotel is bijou and friendly, close to metro and major stations. The rooms are compact, with character and charm. If you want a base from which you can explore the French capital city, but don't want to pay for acres of hotel room, this is a good choice to start with.

Chose this hotel because of the location and the Ibis brand. The location is great - close to Republic Square but rooms were small and the hotel feel so not as good as other Ibis hotels I have seen in Munich, New Delhi and Bangalore.

Nice hotel, in a nice location. Close to tube and walking distance to the Louvre. If you get a room facing the main road, you may hear a bit of noise, however it did not bother us. A fantastic bakery is right around the corner as well.

Small but nice, clean, and convenient

The location was good; there were TONS of restaurants and shops within walking distance and it was only a couple blocks to the metro station, and 2 or 3 metro stops to the Gare de Nord station. The room was nice enough but very small for 2 people with full luggage. The bed was comfortable, queen sized. The bathroom was nice and the shower had a full door which seems to be a rare thing in Europe. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. They assisted with directions and accommodated our requests for extra towels and an extra pillow. We did not eat breakfast, so I can not rate it, but we had the complimentary coffee. They had a machine with several different types - expresso, cafe a laít, cappuccino, etc. There was free WiFi and it worked well.

A gem in La République

Great budget hotel in Paris

Close to metro station with multiple lines, nicely off from the tourism centre, a bit tight but clean and well-organized room, msny shops and esting options... what else can I ask for, considering what I paid? Also, the big squate of Republique statiue is another fun place to hang out. I will definitely go back without hestitation.

Boutique Hotel Feel with Brand Confidence

I booked this hotel for it's central location combined with a low price. I have been told about and have experienced the high standards of French hotels (a 2 star French hotel can be more akin to a 3.5 star UK hotel) but was still pleasantly surprised by the Ibis Ave de la Republique. It has the boutique feel of some of the independent hotels around Paris, but you have the brand confidence of Ibis and Accor Hotels. This allows you to earn loyalty points and achieve rewards for your stay. The room me and my partner had was on the top floor (4) and was best described as 'cozy'. However for a 3 night stay, this wasn't a problem. The bed was confortable and clean. The decor was tasteful and modern, but with a rustic feel offered by the exposed beams on the ceiling. The bathroom was modern and clean and everything worked well. There was everything one would expect from a hotel room in Paris but without the mod cons a more expensive room would offer (it is an Ibis after all). As for location, it was great for the price. You are about 5 minutes walk from Republique square, which has much to offer in its own right, and also has one if the best-connected metro stops on the network, meaning the rest of the city is within easy reach.

Good value; mostly very friendly staff (except one night worker); breakfast fresh and good value; hotel looks recently renovated; tiny cute room; reasonably clean; good 'earth friendly' policies. We asked for a room away from Avenue de la Republique and so our room was protected from street noise (good double glazing). The only discomfort was the very dry heating system which made it hard to breathe! We opted for leaving the heat off and cuddling up!

Economical option.

It was a last minute booking and in that regards the hotel was sufficient and economical. The location was central as it was walking distance from 3 metro lines. Other than that the hotel itself was disappointing. The breakfast was below par. The only lift was under maintenance for 8 hrs on the only day that we were there. The staff was helpful and courteous. Overall a decent stay, however, I wouldn't like to book it again unless under similar emergency circumstances.

Comfortable stay in a modern design room

It was a small room but enough for a solo traveller like me, well designed and decorated. There is a website showing some other old design room which is not true. Their croissant is best. Only dissatisfaction is there is no safe & water kettle in the room.

Un accueil sans sourire par une personne qui vous renifle au nez … désagréable. Chambre correcte mais trop cher pour ce que c est . Traces d usure sur le mur . Éclairage froid et agressif . Contrairement à ce qui est dit sur la fiche hotel, non, il n’y a pas de parking. Ils vont vous proposer un parking « partenaire » à 15 minutes de marche pour 35€… la blague. A 40€, vous en trouverez un à 20m de l’hotel et avec possibilité de recharger une voiture électrique.

L'hôtel est bien placé à proximité de la Place de la République ce qui permet un accès rapide à plusieurs ligne de bus et de métros (Bus 91 quasiment direct de la gare de Lyon). De nombreux commerces et bars-restaurants dans le quartier qui est agréable. Chambre et salle de bain de tailles correctes dans un état impeccable. Insonorisation entre chambre plutôt bonne. Literie moyenne. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est complet ce qui permet de bien démarrer la journée.

Tout s'est bien passé, juste j'ai du écourter mon sejour et bien que je sois parti a 13h (au lieu de 12h...) la 2nde nuit m'a été comptée...dommage...
