I stayed her for a week and it was really wonderful. The perfect location with so much at your fingertips, and easy to get the metro to go anywhere else. The room was really comfortable and quiet. It was a heat wave when I was in Paris so it was also so great to have AC. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast left a little to be desired and the showers were a bit strange, so those are the only reasons for docking one star!

The great service and helpful staff. Room was cozy, clean, and a comfort bed for a good night sleep. I definetely will be back. I stayed 7 nights, when I checked in, they resolved my room needs, since the one I got had little room to walk around and wasxkibd of dark, I got the same category but much better for a long stay.

Very handy location, 15 minute walk from Gard Du Nard Station. Walking distance to some of the sights and museums.
Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants close by.
Accommodation was good, however mattress cover and sheet on bed could be larger as they dont tuck properly over matress and move about when you sleep.
Had breakfast at hotel which was good and with a nice variety on offer.
Staff nice and friendly. Would stay there again.

Lovely hotel in a great location for small local bistros, bars and independent shops.Considered minimalist design with quality fittings and super comfortable bed. The only thing to flag is breakfast. We were told when we checked in that breakfast was included. We also checked again the following morning and a different member of staff confirmed it was. However when we checked out we were told it wasn’t included. The staff were very nice and it didn’t end up being a problem, but do just check.

Really enjoyed our stay, there is one thing we would like to change and that is the sliding doors in the bathroom, unfortunately when someone on the toilet you can smell the odour through the door. Maybe provide a room spray? Besides from that the staff was wonderful, very convenient for local transport. And there was plenty of choice of excellent bakeries around the area.

Good day-
I was originally to stay left bank but decided to discover right bank, this was my second trip to Paris.
This hotel seems like a quiet gem just off a main rue, the entrance in one of those little side streets.
In Paris, a little getting around-I only go by foot- goes far. You could be in a quiet area and next thing you could be nearing that tourist mention you want to see. So many outdoor cafes.
But mainly, my favorite Bakeshop,Mamiche,
Opened another location right around the corner.
I’ll be staying at 9Republic next time and already looking forward.

The room was just dirty…
The floors had dirt all over them, there was dust everywhere, it was a mess.
My first morning there I had the “do not disturb” sign on the door so that I could sleep and housekeeping came right in until I woke up panicked and had them leave. They didn’t come back at all that day even when asked, and when I asked the front desk for more towels they gave me a hand towel to use for my shower.
When housekeeping came my second full day there, they packed everything into my suitcases and zipped them up without being asked to do so even though I had another day there.
Had I not paid upfront for the hotel, I would not have stayed.

We chose this hotel due to the location as we needed to be near Place de la Republique. We booked the biggest room available as we were looking for a room that was at least 200+ sqft. We definitely had a great stay at the Executive room. Everything was nice, clean and of course comfortable as it was spacious.

Nice hotel in an interesting sector of the Marais! Breakfast very ok.
Only hiccup could be that some bathrooms (especially the shower) are not suitable for seniors. Difficult access into bathtub and nothing to hold from. If you are a senior, , make sure that you ask for a senior friendly bathroom.

The hotel is easy to miss in the little alley it's in, but once you see it, there's no mistaking that it's a nice hotel! The staff are friendly and helpful and check-in was quick and easy. The lobby is chic and simple, and there are two elevators that take you up to the rooms (note that one elevator is smaller than the other, but the staff will direct you to the larger one.)

I was feeling a little under the weather my entire stay so unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the hotel and the room itself, which I regret, but the hotel was very clean. (The hotel's rating is posted on the building, 4-stars.) The bathroom has a sliding door that does leave some gaps, but otherwise is a lovely bathroom. The shower is amazing and has great pressure, which is always something I look for. One of my travel companions tried the breakfast buffet during our stay there and only had great things to say about it.

I recommend staying at this hotel because, I hesitate to call any place safe, but it was quiet, the door to the lobby locks after hours and you can only get in with a keycard, and there are many things you can walk to close by. There's a pharmacy nearby as well as a metro line and some restaurants. Again, the staff was very attentive and quick to answer questions. They speak English and were very kind when I used my broken French to establish some rapport, haha!

A+ location, clean but small, no shower in room

Staff were really nice, the hotel was very clean and tidy, excellent location right beside a Metro station with all necessary amenities within 2mins walk (huge supermarket opposite the hotel, an artisanal bakery, reasonably price bistros and a pharmacy).

Our room was smaller than we expected as we are both tall, but I can’t fault the hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and fitted two people with plenty of space. Heated mirror with a window in the bathroom was very convenient, however the shower was more like a bath with glass partition and a shower head - which was our only issue with the room.

I’d suggest this room was better for a single person doing a work trip or short stay in Paris, but overall we would recommend to friends and family.

Hotel is in a great area, really easy to walk everywhere and close to multiple metro stops. Room as clean and bed was comfy but it is small. Also unless you knew each other well bathroom provides no privacy! No lock on the door, it slides closed but doesn’t properly shut. You wouldn’t want to stay here on a first date! Also only provided one robe/ one towel/ one pair of slippers even though it was clear we were a couple staying in the room. We had to ask twice and eventually got a second towel and slippers but still no robe! Breakfast was generous and refilled until it finished at 11.

Booked a room in this hotel thinking it was 4 stars. Apart from the location there is no 4 stars about it, we stayed 3 nights, we had to call reception every day asking why there was no towels, the staff did not refill the shower gel and shampoo for three days we ended up buying our own. There was no fridge, no hair dryer, the receptionist was rude to my wife when she asked about the towels. I am not sure how they decided this hotel is 4 stars.

Charming Boutique with Affordable Large Rooms

Second time staying at this hotel! Loved it the first time - very good location near the Canal and Republique, 10 minute walk to the Marais. Really friendly staff, lovely boutique hotel that is very clean and comfortable. Free coffee in the lobby. Lovely breakfast in the basement - worth pay the extra amount to get this.

I always book the Executive Room - and got the same exact room I had last time (206) which was very big and lots of space to stretch out (300+ Square Feet).

At this point, I'd say a few things needed to improve the experience even more, these are simple and not deal breakers:
1) No bar of soap by the sinks in the bathroom - only bottles of shower gel in the shower
2) No face cloths, but they did have hand towels
3) Fridge in my room wasn't working - I didn't bother with this til the end to tell them
4) Cleaning lady was a bit aggravated when I said I'd be ready to leave the room at 2pm, and when I left she kind of stormed into my room (she banged on my door all morning as I forgot to put the do not disturb up) - but besides her all the other staff were AMAZING

Otherwise, great price, great location and sort of a quiet area after dark which was nice.

I'd definitely stay here again and recommend you do too!

Very clean and in a good location. Can get to most desired tourist areas in a 20-30 minute walk. I walked everywhere from here. Very nice staff, great shower, clean room and bathroom. Wifi is spotty so careful if you need to do serious work. Blackout curtains are nice. Overall would definitely recommend.

9Hotel Republique is in a good, and quite location. You can find a bakery, restaurant, cafeteria close by. No need for you to drive. You can also go shopping at walking distances. The hotel's staff are very professional and friendly. All of them speak English very well. I have no complains. I will most likely book this hotel again when I visit Paris again. The hotel is great, service from the reception was nice, the room is huge (Executive room 408), the shower is big and the whole thing is like a small perfect apartment. the location is right next to republique square, and city center isn't far. same is the train station.
The only thing that i didn't give a\"10\" is that despite I put the \"do not disturb\" sign outside the door, the cleaner entered the room when I wasn't there. otherwise, everything was perfect.

The hotel and staff are wonderful!!! We went for a week at the beginning of February 2020 and had a wonderful time !!! The staff is most helpful, the breakfast bar is extremely nice, hotel is very clean and in a great location!!! The metro station is right outside the hotel which was a great bonus . The little bar on the corner across from the hotel is quaint and nice to relax in before heading across the street to the hotel . Add the breakfast plan to your hotel stay . Yummy deliciousness at a great price .

When we arrived the hotel was completely boarded up with minimal signs that it was open. The check-in was fine and we went up to our room. The space was pretty tight for our luggage (we had carry-on bags) only. Refreshments in the lobby were fairly expensive. The location is near a metro stop and good restaurants.
