It is decent if you want a cheap weekend, bed and kitchen are good. Bathroom is small and the pictures made it look bigger than what you get. But it not a deal breaker. I would recommend if solo.

There was a hiccup with my stay but the staff on checkout that day was very lovely and was able to help.

Our first time in Paris and I booked this based on such positive reviews and it worked in our favour! We arrived in Paris via EuroStar so this was only a 15 min taxi (in traffic) ride. A quieter area, but very close to grocery stores and little restaurants! The kitchenette was a game changer. We purchased meals including heat at home, eggs etc and it was fully stocked with utensils such as cutlery, knives, plates and bowls etc We did lay for room service for one day on our week long stay but they were quit prompt. I found the staff friendly, greeting us each and every morning and evening! The room itself was spacious and clean, the bathroom was small but it did the job! We stayed in Jan during Winter and it was well heated. I would stay here again!

The property was at a convenient location to walkable shops, groceries, cafes, and restaurants. It is also right down the street from both train stations Du Gard and L'Este. Staff at the front desk were awesome! Very friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. They spoke English and helped feel welcomed and at home. We had a great experience.

Lovely Stay.

Xavier at the Front Desk greeted us warmly. All the Staff was accommodating and informative. There is construction happening in the Neighborhood, but we weren’t bothered by it. Close to the Train Station (Gard d’Nord), easy to get to CDG. Also close to Metro Stops. Would recommend.

The bathroom was unclean and had a damaged bath tub, the shower head was unable to stand up! There was building work next door and the plug sockets were plug type c which would have been better communicated as we had to ask for a replacement. However the staff were very helpful

I’m a single mum and I lost my phone on one of my days out in Paris. The team and the front desk went above and beyond to help me from lending me a laptop until I checked out to communicate with my family to helping me get my phone back from a stranger in a way that didn’t put me or my son at risk! I can’t thank them enough. They made a stressful holiday as easy as possible for me and they really didn’t have to.

In terms of the hotel, it was great. Nice clean room, good location and good amenities. There is a construction site around the hotel which made it a little hard to find but once you find it, you’ll be fine :-)

We stayed for 8 nights. All employees on duty were very friendly, professional and helpful. We were in a 1-bedroom corner unit that can comfortably accommodate a family of 5. It was clean and spacious, with a small kitchen that was well equipped with small fridge, stove top, microwave, sink. Cabinets were filled with plates, glasses, utensils - great for cooking or warming up takeout. The living area also had a round table with 5 chairs, and 3 separate twin size sofa beds. These twin size sofa beds were amazing because my son and daughter had their own bed. The bathroom was a little small but didn’t bother us as we were there to make the most of Paris, not to spend a lot of time in a bathroom - LOL! We placed a chair right beside the tub as step stool for the kids so they could easily and safely get in and out of the tub as it was a bit high for them (unfortunately no step stool was available). It has AC - which is amazing especially on hot days! Location wise, it’s not really within walking distance to the main attractions (Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triomphe etc), but it’s conveniently close to Gare de l’Est where you can take the Metro, and we also walked to Gare du Nord to catch a train to London. It’s not on a busy street so noise level at night is minimal to moderate. Overall, I would recommend this aparthotel, especially to families with kids who want space, don’t want to spend a fortune to get a large room or multiple rooms, and willing to take the Metro to get around.

I had a really good experience staying here for three nights at the beginning of May. The room was exactly as pictured, and the hotel location was perfectly located, and less than a 15 minute walk from Gare du nord and Gare de l’est. Close proximity to multiple metro stations. But what really made the experience great for me is the staff - everyone was very friendly, no matter the time of day / night, and no matter which questions you had for them.

The place needs up keeping. The bathroom was leaking and the door lock broken and requires kicking of it to open or a hard pull. There was a huge crack on the side that looked like it was going to break off. The window can't be closed tight and when it gets windy, it blows it open. I woke up twice during the night because of the noise. I felt unsafe, when I went downstairs the first night, no one was at the front desk for the 20 mins I was waiting. Anyone could have walked in.

This is a nice place for families to stay. I was surprised with the size of the apartment, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, full bathroom and a common area to dine and rest.The location is excellent, 3 min walk to Gare d’l EST and 5 to Gare su Nord. I'm shocked it's a 3-star hotel, it's worse than motels in USA. The bathroom pictures shown online are completely false, the bathroom we got was so small (see pics). You have to sit crooked to fit on the toilet and I'm 5' 7 tall, bath tub was half the size shown! The sink and tub smell like raw eggs. Not clean and since there was no A/C we open windows of our room in the night, it got filled with full of smoke coz of so many smokers on the road. Please avoid unless you don't wanna use the bathroom during your stay!

i've never stayed an apartment hotel. It was ok. the front desk person who greeted us upon arrival was not friendly at all. The other front desk staff were super friendly and extremely helpful.

-no safe in the room
-no a/c in the room (we knew when we booked, but realized that we need ac when we travel)
-doesn't feel safe in the evenings
-neighborhood smells of urine due to a lot of public urination

The apartment is ok for 4 people but for sure you can get a better place with the same value, there was no air conditioning with temeperatures of 32 C° at night, and the hotel page in hotels.com doesn't say anything about it, fortunately they were doing the installation of the air conditioning and we can sleep well the second and third night. The WiFi signal is not good, even tough we were at the first floor just beside the reception the signal was really poor. The personal was good, always trying to help.

Lovely property which was made even better by the nice lady working at reception, she was lovely, warm and welcoming. She even upgraded our room for us. Our room was nice and large with many amenities. However, what we were not advised was that there is very limited hot water which was very upsetting as we had to shower with ice cold water most times. The housekeeping only came around once despite saying that would be done 3 times. Clean room and bedding and very comfortable! The area, however, was very dodgy and smelly as there are people lurking about always.

The location was ok. We could walk to the several parts of the city. The Eiffel Tour wasn’t very close but we took the metro back to the hotel as we took the boat to it.
The apartment was small but well equipped. The room needed an facelift and I was told they were going to renovate them soon. Overall the experience was good and the people who managed the property were very nice and helpful.

Thoroughly disappointed with the overall experience at this hotel. Pictures DO NOT give a true representation of the room. Felt unsafe in the property due to no locks on fully opening windows, no covers on lightbulbs and having the bathroom sink unit not being attached to the wall (and therefore rocking every time it was touched). Would therefore definitely not recommend here if planning stay with children. As soon as my partner told the staff we had an issue, their first response was that a refund was not possible... no concern what our issues were, or offering a different room at the time. Would also not recommend purchasing breakfast as it consisted of just croissants which had been left out all day (we arrived at 2pm).

Good apartment in Paris for Eurostar

Only a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and a 10 minute walk to La République, with easy access to local busses to eg the Eiffel Tower, the location is a good base. The immediate surroundings might not be as tidy as some of the other parts of paris, but nothing dangerous nor concerning.
The room itself had a kitchenette with microwave, hobs and fridge, as well as cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
There was enough room even with a cot set up, and the beds and cot were all comfy enough for a good night's sleep.
The heating element was fine, as was the lighting.
The only downside was the size of the bathroom. I am only around 180cm tall, but could only sit on the toilet at an angle. Although the bathroom has very little floorspace, we managed with a toddler as well without much of an issue. The sink, shower and hot water all worked well, and if you have a plug, the rim of the shower is high enough for giving a toddler a bath.
The service was very friendly, always eager to help and always available in the reception area.
As long as you are okay with a small bathroom, I would recommend this place for your visit to Paris at a reasonable price.

Antione, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is nearby the Metropolitan which a very good plus. We enjoyed our stay, the had the basics which includes clean and comfortable bedding, good working washroom/bathroom, kitchen utensils microwave and fridge and good internet. The hotel was also nearby tons of grocery stores and restaurants which made it convenient.

We rented an apartment for 4 days which meant that they weren’t going to clean in between. I expected this going into by booking. They were nice to take the garbage in between and change out towels which we appreciated.

Geraldine, Alphonso and Antoine made us feel at home in this fabulous studio apartment building. Due to the building's close proximity to Gare du Nord, it was easy for us to get in/out of Paris, get on the hop on, hop off bus and also walk to a number of key attractions (eg, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Pere Lachaise Cemetry, etc) without any problems. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who has a few days to spare and wants to visit key Parisian attractions knowing that a comfortable place awaits for them at the end of the day.

Very nice and pleasant staff, all who speak decent English. Manager was very nice and helpful.
DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. Due to the record high temps in the area for the week that we stayed, we had to keep the windows open at night or suffocate. This made us feel uncomfortable, but nonetheless we had to keep them open. On our last night in the hotel, someone climbed the fence and came in through the window and stole my daughter's iPhone. Being on the 1st floor, or to Americans the 2nd floor, you would think they would have been deterred due to the spikes on the fence surrounding the hotel. However, they still came into the room while my kids were sleeping in there alone. The hotel could do more with preventative measures so windows can be left open. Not once did the receptionist offer to call the police for us so that we could file a police report. Being it was such a shocking experience, not once did we think to do this. Now that we have left the country and returned home, we cannot file the police report. We have to go through a much harder experience of writing a letter to the prosecutor’s office and requesting a formal investigation.

Great location to experience Paris

We came in on the train from London and it was about a 15 minute walk from Gare du N'ord to the hotel. We were greeted by Geraldine who is fantastic- as are all of the staff here. They are so welcoming, warm and helpful. Apartment was well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes as well as a fridge and stove. We made daily runs to the grocery store (one within a 5 minute walk either direction) for fresh eggs to cook for breakfast before heading out for the day. We walked about 10 minutes to the local metro station (Republique) to get around Paris. Room was very clean and comfortable. There is a mobile air con if you want it and free wireless. Place was quiet at night for sleeping because it faces the back side of the main road which is nice. While some reviews have said the neighborhood is shady, I didn't feel unsafe once. Would definitely stay here again.

We didn't know how to work the microwave even after the lady came up what she showed us was how to defrost. so I think it would be a good idea to have some instructions up on the wall next to it. The view isn't brilliant just a dirty wall opposite. I think it was Harry on the desk when we got there and he was great.

Great hotel, even greater staff!

In the city with postage stamp size rooms, the Staycity hotel was a pleasant surprise. When traveling with my crew of tall Texans, we look for a few specific things in a hotel: close to public transportation, everyone getting their own bed, no road noise, and the ability to cook if we wish. This hotel fit the bill perfectly! We are not overly picky about neighborhoods, as we usually travel in a pack; but some may have issue on this location so close to the train station.
From the moment we checked in , we felt welcomed by their staff. Our rooms were really apartments, with a main room (2 twin beds, TV, table and 4 chairs, and WELL stocked kitchenette), bathroom with a bathtub, and a bedroom with 2 twin beds that can become one large bed. The rooms all face a “passage”, instead of a street, which is a HUGE bonus (no street noise!). The entire place is fairly modern in furnishings, mostly IKEA.
The kitchen had a small fridge, 2 burner cooktop, hot pot, toaster, pans, utensils, dishes and silverware. There were even containers that had coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, salt and pepper. Instead of paying for breakfast, we headed to the local stores to get fresh bread and pastries every morning. There are also 2 supermarkets literally around the corner from the hotel.
I cannot say enough about the staff- they all spoke English well, and were helpful in directing us to sites, as well as recommending places to eat. One of the staff members went above the call of duty for us-We were there

If you arrive before check in you can deposit your luggage free of charge and explore the city until you can check in.
I woukd stay here again

The hotel is located at very convenient location and close to Notre Dame, Louvre, Luxembourg garden if you like walking for a mile or so. The kitchenette is a plus. The Stuff (Harry and Antone) are very friendly and helpful in printing tickets several times, and offer changing room for us when we thought our room might be noisy. The only drawback is the wifi gets slow in the room sometimes, maybe during period of heavy use.

Pretty good but room could be freshened up

Stayed a couple of days with 3yo and baby. Despite it being a very busy neighbourhood the location is really quiet and tranquil. Staff really friendly and helpful. Apartment had main room with double bed, side room with two singles and that led off to the bathroom. Microwave in kitchen, which took a bit of trial and error to work out how to use, fridge and good stock of cooking stuff. Beds were all comfy and wifi good enough on the whole. The rooms were a little bit shabby; peeling paint, fittings not quite working properly and no working extractor fan in bathroom which had a faint sewery smell. However, overall a good place to stay.

Comfortable hotel near Gare du Nord

We found the reception very friendly and welcoming, and they were really helpful with a couple minor issues with our room. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay. We look forward to staying with you again.

Great staff!

The staff go out of their way to help. The location is convenient to access trains. There is a lift so you don’t have to carry luggage upstairs. Rooms are spacious for a family of 4.

CONVENIENT AND CLEAN

The staff were friendly and helpful, the only thing that bothered me was the mattress on the doouble bed in room 209 was awfull....it sank in when I laid on it and it made my back ache.....so PLEASE sort the bed out.
Other than that it was a pleasant stay and I definitely will recommend it to my friends.

Stayed only one night, in a comfortable room. Would certainly consider staying here when returning to Paris for a longer stay. Carlos at reception was especially helpful and friendly.
