Hotel is close to train stations, however, the room did not have AC and was around 87 degrees Fahrenheit. Family had trouble falling asleep. The man at the front desk was nice. We got a triple room but it had one queen size bed and a couch which counted as the third bed. The couch was unstable and would wobble like a seesaw with every movement. We had to ask for sheets set up the couch for sleeping and had to set it up ourselves. Shower gets very hot and the bathroom door was very loud when closing.

Small, compact room with no where to sit other than the bed however it was clean. Tv remote did not work due to corroded batteries. Great location for immediate access to the metro and buses. Lots of places to eat in the surrounding area with reasonable prices.

A delightful quirky, little hotel, located in a buzzing and diverse area of Paris. Friendly welcome, our room was spacious, airy, lovely big window, excellent bathroom and impeccably clean. We also had a little kitchen, and a fan was provided because of the heat wave. What’s not to love?

Rude staff, old and smelly rooms, hotel was advertised as non smoking however our room smelled of smoke and there was an ash tray on the desk. This hotel does not have AC. An elevator is a death trap. All of this I could overlook however the hotel did not have hot water for two days. When asked the morning manager she said that the city cut off the gas and it’s not the hotel’s fault. Evening staff member told me that city was only cutting off gas in the morning, the reason they did not have hot water the night before is their boiler room flooded due to thunderstorm. Hotel refused to offer any kind of compensation and Expedia was not much help. Hotel staff was very rood about it stating that we should have taken the shower in the morning the day before. Will be filing a complaint with credit card. I was surprised when Expedia said there is nothing they can do since they transferred the money to hotel already.

There are several other reputable properties in the area - stay away from this one!!!!

I was only heading to Paris briefly so needed a value-for-money hotel as a base.

For a one-night stay it did the required job. Very much no-frills, but it was all I wanted.

It's easy to get to – a five-minute walk from Gare du Nord, and right outside the entrance and exit to Gare de L'Est metro station. Plenty of bus stops are very close by too.

My room was simple enough but spacious. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well equipped.

Negatives – when I got to my room there was a distinct smell of cigarettes, and when I opened the window I could see discarded cigarettes on the floor outside. Leaving the window open for a while helped.

A lot of the decor in my room and the common areas of the hotel could do with an update.

There was a lot of wooden flooring so footsteps could be heard, especially as my room wasn't soundproof. I could hear toilets flushing from other rooms.

When I checked in, it wasn't properly explained to me that to get back in late at night, I would need to press the buzzer on the intercom system at the front door. When I got back, a little while after 11.30pm, there was no obvious guidance – or buzzer – on the intercom. The security man who let me in after I knocked on the door and showed him my key card was very rude.

I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, and there are also plenty of other choices nearby.

I wouldn't recommend for a longer stay but for a brief visit the Hotel Little Regina did what I needed it to.

My usual hotels were fully booked so I thought that I’d give the Regina a try based on Hotels.com reviews.

A basic room, but clean with good bathroom, and street view, with great location near to Gare De Est.

My colleague and I were greeted by a very friendly receptionist whom asked whether we were ‘in or out’, of course referring to Brexit. Always a subject where I am happy to debate the benefits of being ‘in’😁

The simple (one serving) continental breakfast was a little disappointing, but is was functional and reasonably filling.

Amazing location right next to the Metro and East Station. The room is super clean and has everything you need from a single room. It was a small room, but served the purpose of a place to sleep and shower.

I think the theoretical idea if having the shower in an open bathroom is only good on paper, but in reality everything, including the tiolet and toilet paper, gets soaked if you dont watch your movements in the shower. The bed was a bit hard, hurting my back a bit, but nothing i could not totally deal with.

I think for what you are paying it is a decent value.

Don't waste your money!

Do not pay to stay here. Horrible place. The floors are uneven, walls are paper thin I could hear the guy next door coughing up a lung all night, the bed was uncomfortable we were suppose to get a room with two bed we only had one double. They didn't have any roll away beds either.

Rooms small but all we needed. Couldn't connect to wi-fi which was frustrating, no help offered at desk. Toilets didn't work and no cold water for 1 day, when it was fixed the toilet was constantly running water in it and cistern filling up which caused slit of noise all through the night.

The hotel was decent but that area was really bad just stay in there after a few days there was a reporting of a tourist getting stabbed the 10th District is not a safe place to walk around and people just urinating on the streets I do not recommend staying here if this is your first time visiting Paris I was very disappointed.

My room was nice. Good quality for the price. Carpet in corridors need to be changed, but it looks like the hotel is in the middle of refurbishing work... so I think it will happen soon. The 2 persons I saw at the reception were extremely nice. Breakfast for 7€ was also perfect for me.

Ideal location to Paris Est Station

This hotel provides an ideal location to Paris Est Station while this is not a luxurious one.
To be honest, I was scared when I saw the glass of the entrance door of the hotel was broken. (Later I realised there were many buildings whose windows were broken in Paris.)
However, the room was clean and the staffs were kind and helpful.
If you don't need the reraxation or the refreshness for a stay, this hotel would be able to provide at least necessity for a stay.
Moreover, many outlests for charging were very helpful for me.
Overall, this hotel is one of the reasonable and convenient hotels in Paris.

Very close to train station, bus stops are the the front of the hotel, surronded by local restaurants and stores. Although its only 2 star and small they maintain the cleanliness of the hotel. I booked for 8 people, 3 tripple rooms but they gave us 1 triple. 2 double and 1 single which were perfect for us. They are more concerned for our privacy. And they allocated us on the same floor.

Toilet are superb, very clean and strong pressure of water.

The only downside was, it's a smoking hotel. Strong smells of smoke in one of our rooms but apart from that, everything were perfect.

Good basic hotel for quick stays

Hotel Little Regina is a very basic hotel, but gets the job done. I needed a place close to the Gare du Nord (about an 8-minute walk) so I could catch an early flight the next day. It's very simple, and my room was tiny, but at the price, I can't complain. Everything was clean and check in was easy. Good for a quick one night stay, but would have been a little cramped if I was there for longer. There is also a Metro literally right when you walk outside, which was very conveinent.

Choose a safer area to stay as this hotel is noisy and in an unsafe, dirty area. We walked from Gare De Nord station to the hotel and we're surrounded by men wanting to sell cigarettes, alcohol and people begging on the streets. The local convenience store even has 2 security guards. Paris on a whole was dirty, disappointing and some French were rude and unwelcoming.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!! STAY AWAY!!!
To start with, the bed had bed bugs which were very painful and left bite marks all over my body. There was mould on the floor of the room, in the corners, in the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting. The shower the blocked so we couldn't even have a proper shower and the towels had blood stains on them. The bed sheets was dirty. There was bird droppings on the balcony.
The receptionist lady was stubborn, rude, arrogant and didn't help us switch rooms, change sheets or even let us change the sheets. We checked out after 1 night as it was appalling.
The rooms were also very small and extremely hot.

Missed opportunity

When I arrived at the hotel, the reception could not find my reservation. Two people searched their data base, but my name was not to be found. (I had with me my phone with the emailed confirmation of my reservation.) A computer glitch! One of the staff made a reservation for me at a similar hotel down the street where I had a spotless room, comfortable bed and a good breakfast the following morning.
Staff was as accommodating as possible but in the end I could not stay at the hotel which I had booked because of the location.

It was a total dissapointment!
Location: terrible... homeless people all around, a dirty area, in general. The hotel: it smells bad from the moment you enter. Creepy stairs to the room. They don't change the towels daily; brown towels with spots of bleach; when extra pillows were requested, they said they only had 3 extra, and they were wet, and the dryer was not working; \"you have to deal without them\" that was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Surrounding restaurants: even the fast-food McDonalds and Burger King (customer service and the food were terrible as well). The East End Restaurant was equally as bad.
Unless some of the above facts change, I cannot recommend this hotel and it's surrounding establishments at all.

The only advantage to this hotel is that it is very close to the Gare du Nord and faces a metro. Other than that, the neighbourhood is very run down. The hotel staff (receptionist) was curt at best. Not friendly or welcoming at all. The room was supposed to be for three people, the folded out the sofa for the third and it was uncomfortable and much too small. Luckily, it was only one night and we took the train the next day but I would never stay there again.

Great Hotel close to Gare de L'est stations (Metro,RER, bus). There plenty of options for dinnig close to the Hotel (Fast-Food, Restaurants, Bakery) also there are a Convinience Store and a SuperMarket across the corner. The room was ok, clean and confortable. The Bathroom was clean and works ok. The elevator is small, but that is common in Europe. We haven't take the breakfast, but they offer the service. We have no complaints at all, we surely would stay here again. The staff was friendly and willing to help. We don't speak french fluently and they don´t speak english fluently either, but we don't face any communication issues.

A Rat-Hole.

If you want to feel like you are in a terrorist prison cell, then this is the place for you. It was sooooo tiny. They stuck in a second bed adjacent to the window, so access to the closet and shelves could only be gained by climbing up on the bed.The WC was at another end of the unit, so to get to it, you would have to negotiate around a night stand, then a corner, IN THE DARK!(I had to buy a flashlight for my Mother so she wouldn't stub her toes in the night).The oscillating fan could only be used from the corner, so no fresh air.In the double-bed, since my husband slept in the \"Aisle\" spot, I was up against the wall. Nice on a hot August night with the fan blowing hot air on you because you can't open the window because the person sleeping next to it will be kept awake by the street noise traffic.Even the Wi-Fi didn't work, had to go to the lobby to use when doing pre-checkin for airport.Charged for an extra day of VAT even though we left early.The best part of the Hotel Little Regina was leaving. So if you want a really small squashed rat-hole, with a maze-like configuration, this this is the place for you.
TIP: Check out the online sites. There are sooooo many other places around there that they will treat you nice, value you business, give you a little respect, and, not as expensive. 10th time in Paris, worst hotel Ever! Stay Away from this place.

Don't trust the photos!

The room was completely different than what they shown in the photos it was so much smaller and darker! The room was so small and stuffy with no air conditioner at all so I guess it's fine in the winter but certainly a no no in summer. The bathroom wasn't quite clean the sink looked like it'll fall off the table or wall soon. The bedding got stains on it and the mattress was so uncomfortable we stayed there for 4 nights didn't have a good night sleep at all. Definitely the worst hotel I've ever been to! I think this is a hotel for someone who's on budget considering hotels in Paris are quite dear. The hotel is next to the metro station so it's quite convenient to travel around if you rely on transportation. It's a bit far from the tourist attractions but still within walking distance I'd say around 35 - 40 mins walk to the centre.

Service was very good, but the room's walls, windows and lampshades looked dirty. One of the two rooms smelled very strongly of smoke even after airing it out. It was pretty noisy at night- located at a busy intersection with people hanging out on the street below and talking late into the night.

It was a very small room and I would rate the cleanliness on the low side but at least the place has a tiny elevator so you don't have to walk up the stairs with your luggage. The walls are paper thin and there were quite a few boisterous guests while we were there. Access to anywhere in Paris is extremely easy as there is a metro stop right there on corner and the Gare du l'Est is across the street. Given the price we paid in February it is a good deal, just don't spend any time in your room, after all, you're in Paris!

Quiet hotel near to metro

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and the room was very clean. I had lots of lovely sleep and there is a lift which is useful if you have very heavy cases like I did. Restaurant next door was great too - cheap but good traditional food. Best thing about hotel was proximity to metro gare de L'est - literally about 30 paces from the entrance. Very convenient!

Extremely noisy inside and outside. My room was above the bus stop, a 24h open shop attracting all sorts of people. The window was filthy with pigeon poo and I did not dare to close the blinds. I could hear my neighboor's phone conversation and TV show. The bed linen was dirty and the mattress ultra soft. The staff was friendly enough but I would not recommend this hotel.

Small, independent hotel near Paris Station

Hotel was fine and clean. Good value for money and short walk from the Paris Eurostar train station. Not much in the way of spare space or views from the room windows but didn't expect such for the price.

The hotel close to Gare de nor & gare de est train station, bakeries, 3 bus lines & 1 metro line out front of hotel. The area a little rough but very safe, to walk at night. People at hotel very nice, helpful, all speak English. Hotel very clean modern rooms, with full size bath towels, lobby small, but clean.
Beds very comfortable, clean, lighting very good, very quiet room with noise proof windows.
I will re-book this hotel on my next trip to Paris. The price was a good value and a nice size room.

Fantastic value for money

Stayed in this hotel with 2 friends on a short city break, and was really pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Very clean, quite modern, and having stayed in Paris on a budget before I was expecting much. Location is very close to the metro, although not the nicest area. It did the job. Room had everything we needed including a TV, only issue was that the shower head wouldn't stay up due to the great shower pressure. I would really recommend staying here.

Oh that smell

We wanted a hotel close to the train station and it was ideal for that, staff were very welcoming. Lobby is very dated but room was spacious and clean. Big downside was a strange smell, something like petrol, wouldn't stay again because of this, pity as many +'s

Tiny hotel with super small rooms. I am only a small adult & barely fitted in the shower !! However modern & clean room, adequate for a quick stay.

don't recommend

Couldnt sleep at all due to noisy neighbourhood with vehickes running at night and people on the street shouting and screaming, bad neighourhood indeed.

Clean but too small

My room was clean and presentable but very small. The shower space is seriously small. Another thing is the lack of internet connection - not good if on business.

A bit pricey for what you get

Overall it sufficed, however WiFi in my room didn't work which was important to me. I felt like it was overpriced as the facilities weren't up to scratch.
Of you need somewhere to stay and can maybe get a good rate it might be worth it.
