Love this hotel! Staff are unbelievably helpful, the lady on reception was particularly awesome. Room is comfortable and a great size (Paris rooms are always small), immaculately clean and well appointed.
Shower is large with great pressure.
Only thing I’d suggest was bigger towels! This is my sixth or seventh time staying here as it’s brilliant value and a great location. THANKS!

Nice comfy bed. Staff was good. Well located for hoping around and getting in and out to other locations. Just be preparwd as you can hear every train(next to a couple major stations), not loud but you can hear them. They start around 5am.

Came home after a night out and no one was at reception. I had no way of getting in and I was outside, a young girl, by myself. I was catcalled and felt very unsafe. I tried getting help from strangers who didn’t know English, and I was all by myself, cold, scared, and very upset. After a while reception came out after “prepping breakfast”. Very very disappointing and will not be coming back.

Our room was awesome BUT... the fridge didn't work and even though we asked twice it was never fixed so we couldn't keep food in the room. otherwise we loved the place. The location suited us really well and it was super easy to come and go. Will definitely book again for our next trip!

Water would not go down in my bathroom sink at all! Toilet did not look properly cleaned. Window was open when I arrived so room was freezing and even turning on the heat did not help throughout my stay. You can hear the metro/trains but it’s not awful. I appreciated the staff coming up to close the window (couldnt figure it out) and letting me store my baggage for a few hours after checkout, and the location is super convenient.

Delta lost my luggage. The wonderful lady at the front desk was so kind and gave excellent directions to shopping to buy a few clothes. The hotel staff was wonderful, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. It is across the street from Gare d'Est which made it very convenient to access the Metro.

My entire stay was amazing. The staff was excellent, friendly and always helpful. Whether it was calling a cab for you or giving restaurant recommendations.
The location is close to every type of transportation so getting around was very easy and hassle free.

The \"cozy\" rooms are really very small, even by Paris standards. But the bathroom is actually fairly spacious.

I was undercharged upon check-in but it was caught at checkout and I paid the difference then. Strange error, never happened to me before.

It looked like a convenient location close to train station at a cheap price. Staff was indifferent to grumpy at check-in. Room was an interior location and quiet when I entered, but noticed within 15 mins the hotel is located above a metro train line. Every 12-15 mins was a rumble of the train. I'd prepaid to get cheap rate, so in went the ear plugs for the night. Location around train station was predictably sketchy.

If you’re traveling out of Gare d’Lest train station, this hotel is across the street from the station so very conveniently located. A few patisseries in the area is a nice perk. But there are patisseries EVERYWHERE in Paris. Otherwise, this is a typical, way overpriced Parisian hotel with few if any amenities. The rooms, at least my overpriced room, was very small room and nothing special at all. Yawn!!! 3 3 star hotel if that!

There was road construction immiediately in front of the building. We were on the second floor and could hear the noise starting at 7am. The bed was comfy, room was clean. We did wake up too late for housekeeping one day and requested it while we were out and was told it was too late even though they were still on our floor. Directly across from the train station, be aware there’s another train station a few blocks away, we came into the wrong one but the walk was very easy. Plenty of dining, and super close to metro access.

This hotel was very clean, with very nice staff even if it was for 1 encounter. The room was kept clean however one downside would be that it was a little small. But other than that it was a brilliant experience in this hotel with many modes of transport available just on the doorstep. I would recommend this hotel however opt for a bigger room.

Lovely hotel with easy access to both Gare de Nord station (excellent if travelling to Paris on the Eurostar and it's about a 12 minute walk to the hotel).
The rooms are reasonably sized and comfortable with coffee pod machine and kettle (bring your own Nespresso pods as you only get 2 for the duration of your stay).

Staff were friendly and helpful, special shout out to Fallon on reception for her help answering some questions we had.

Gare de es't station is right across the road which made out onward journey to Luxembourg and eventually Budapest easy.
This station also has access to the metro and with one change and about 20 minutes or so you will be at the Arc de Triomphe which gives easy access to other main areas of Paris.

Husbands 60th birthday. 30 minutes delayed check in. Room was clean, comfy and we would return. Kettle and tv provided. Small mini-mart on ground level next door.
checked in at 2:30pm. We walked to the Louvre for tickets 4pm and made that nicely.

Great location for the railway stations

This was our second stay at the hotel. We were transferring between the nearby railway stations and spending an extra night to see some of Paris. The location was great for that, even though the area around the stations isn't that nice. We got a room on the top floor which was nice. Unfortunately there was a very strong smell of damp in the room which wouldn't go away with even with ventilating the room. There was also a lot of marks on the carpet. Perhaps related to the damp smell. They weren't able to move us that night but did move us the next morning. The next room was very nice and had no odour.

We had some issues with one of the lifts. The door wouldn't always open if we were in the lift on the ground floor. We had to go back up to the first floor to get out. Not ideal.

We stayed here for one night as we were arriving at the nearby Gare Du Nord and catching a train the next day from Gare de l'Est. It was great for this. We didn't have far to walk and the hotel looks right on to Gare de l'Est. The room was quite small and there was some noise at night from the street. I think this has to be expected in such a central location and wasn't a problem. The room had everything we needed and I slept well.

We stayed in the hotel while going to a concert at the stade de france. The hotel is ideal for this purpose, it is within a 10min walk to the gare de nord, which is the station that the train from the (CDG) airport arrives (RER B) and also goes to the stadium (TER B or D). There are numerous restaurants & fast food places (mcd's, kfc & bk) very close, theres also a mini market in close proximity as well & a metro station. The hotel itself was clean, secure & adequate without any frills (although our room was quite small). The noise from the traffic outside wasnt bad, but we were on the 6th floor. You could feel the vibrations of the subway trains passing underground but it wasnt bad enough to be a nuisance imo. The surrounding area isnt as nice as some of the other areas in the city, but you get what you pay for as the saying goes. I would have no problem going back again for the same purpose, but if i was going to specifically see the city, enjoy the hotel facilies etc. I would prob find another hotel.

The room was extremely hot when I got to there. There’s a heatwave and I believe the aircon should have been on before I got there.
Besides the safe was not working. Impossible to leave my valuables in the room. The receptionist told me nothing could be done as there was no technician onsite. Yet we were on a Monday. This said this should have been checked when the room was prepared.

Look for a better place.

The pictures were deceiving. The room was so much smaller than what it showed on the website when we got there the room was very hot. We turned the air conditioner on, and no air was coming out and looking closer. In to the ducts they were all dirty and had lots of cobwebs and dust we took pictures went down and spoke to the person at the counter. They told us that they were the night person and they had no saying that we have to wait till the morning to speak to a Manager. Also, the air conditioner will not stay on the whole time only 43 hours at a time even if you’re in the room it automatically turns off and you have to turn it right back on that was annoying at night when we were trying to sleep and all of a sudden woken up because it was so hot. The next day, I did speak to the manager and she told me there was nothing she can do, but that’s the way they kept the rooms when I told her I was gonna give her a bad review an hour later she miraculously found another room for us and a fully booked hotel. It was a little bit bigger, but still the same problems with the AC. The other problem we had was when we would go out at night when you came back in after midnight there was nobody at the front desk and had to ring the doorbell, but nobody answered. We would have to knock, knock, knock finally somebody came from the back and open the door.

The property was well maintained with touches of luxury that made our trip feel more special. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. The bedroom was compact, but we were delighted with the balcony which had a Parisian feel, and the view of Gare de l'Est and the street were fascinating to watch. We had read reviews that there was noise from the street, as would be expected in such a central area, but the double balcony doors blocked the noise well, we could only really hear sirens.
The opaque wall and sliding door to the ensuite could be awkward if you are travelling as friends, but for me and my daughter it was fine, causing us a giggle when we arrived but it does actually give sufficient privacy.

Brilliant hotel, have returned to this hotel a few times due to its value and great service.
Room’s in central Paris are generally very small, and these are not huge but clean and comfortable.
Staff polite and friendly.
Beside the metro (great for travel connections/small amount of noise) and a shop for water and supplies are eight new door.
Coffee machine and fridge in room also.

Breakfast was okay, nothing particularly remarkable. Please note the subway runs directly underneath, which can be heard and felt until around midnight.

I had a ‘cozy’ single and this is indeed cozy. It was ideal for a couple of nights when all I needed was a bed. The room was clean and modern and I lucked out with a top floor room with balcony and view over Gare de L’Est.

The only thing that affected the score was the air conditioning. It gave up and the room was stifling on a hot day. The large windows opened to let in air but also let in the substantial 24 hour noise.

The staff were unable to solve the problem but they were so nice it was hard to get angry.

The location is ideal if you are travelling by train but this is not the prettiest part of Paris. Metro station entrance is 50m away from the hotel

Recommended? Yes if you want a basic, clean small room in the perfect place for transport

Stayed here because I needed easy, early morning proximity to Gare du Nord. It's a quick walk to there, and in fact even closer to Gare de l'Est.

The location was good, the neighborhood was fine. I always felt safe. The hotel was clean.

I live in NYC. I thought I was immune to street noise.

HOWEVER. My hotel was on the first floor (in the US that = 2nd floor). I looked directly onto the street, and as it turns out onto a bus stop. At all hours of the night, people walking by and waiting at the bus stop might as well have been standing in my room. It was that loud with the windows closed. If that isn't bad enough, on the lower level of the hotel the metro running directly under the hotel can be heard (at felt) at 5-minute intervals between 5 am and 1 am. Noise cancelling headphones help, but sleep will be difficult until 1 am.

Otherwise... Room is comfortable. Has a safe, shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

Would not stay here again.
