This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The cups in the bathroom had toothpaste on them from the previous occupant. There was mould on the ceiling and had a general uncleanliness feel about the room. The bed was uncomfortable. They advertise that they have EV charging, which was a complete lie. They do not have charging, nor do they have parking! They have \"a deal\" with a backstreet car park down the road who will charge you half price (€30 reduced from €60) if you show them your hotel keycard. To charge an EV, they wanted €30 an hour which is extortionate, and they insisted I had to give them the key for the car. We found a secure underground car park behind the hotel (Indigo car park), which was a little more expensive (€47), and had EV chargers, but it was secure. I would never stay here again, and if I was to drive again, I would stay further out, maybe somewhere around Saint-Deniz

I like the close location to the Gare du Nord. I didn’t like layout of the toilet, it was too close the wall. My room was located with another room, that both cannot be accessed without the hotel key card to unlock an extra unnecessary door, also the lift needed the hotel key card. I needed to use the key card three times to reach my room! The hotel should tell the customers that there are 3 ibis hotels on the same street. The tax should be charged during chek in, not while your checking out.

Yes, this property is convenient to metro and 2 gares, and the price competitive, but the area isn’t quaint or nice. You don’t feel like lingering or soaking in the atmosphere at all. Room didn’t have certain standard amenities, like a tissue box, which is handy in the winter. I checked in quickly very late at night, but my check-in person never explained that the room key operated the elevator and the lighting in my room. It was a hassle to fumble around figuring this out on the fly with my hands full of luggage, especially at night in a dark room. Should be a standard spiel at check in. €12 breakfast good.

Less than 1 star by North American standards but judging by other positive comments, European standards are way low! I stayed at Ibis in Rome and it was great. But in Paris, it was “the worst”. No temperature control in room. Very very cold. You cannot fit on the toilet, you should sit side ways in 90 degree. Broken toilet seat bites your skin. No shower door. Shower water pours all over bathroom and flows to the room’s carpet. The double bed has a huge dent in the middle as much is 3 inch deep. The mattress is foam! If you have back problem that needs a flat bed, run away. The top mattress is not attached to the foam mattress and it runs as you move! No shampoo or conditioner, just soap. No hand or face towel, Just one bath towel. No telephone in room. No tissue paper in room. Toilet paper is rationed. No tea bag for breakfast, just loose leaf tea. But you can buy your own shampoo and paper towel and etc from a nearby supermarket.The only nice thing is kind staff, specially the girl with very long hair- she is excellent. Yes The location is near metro but in Paris EVERYWHERE you stay is near a metro station. If you are from north America and can afford it, choose a 5 star hotel in the west and preferably in the suburbs. This hotel is 3 star but is not worth even 1 star and certainly not worth 300 Canadian dollar a night price tag! It reminds me of the run down inn owned by the Thenardiers in The Miserables. Victor Hugo did not write a “story”, it was “real”.

Well what can I say. I would have hadore room if they had given us the broom cupboard. The bathroom had mould and there was five hangers for the two of us for three nights. The hotel advertised draught beer by didn't have any.... Really disappointed with the room and the hotel... The staff were lovely though...

Lovely little hotel with a cute outside area

Such a good location for getting around Paris. Next to the hotel there are some really cute resturaunts and also a gorgeous bakery just up the road. The room was clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful, if there was anything you needed they were great. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and had a really comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Well located for the Gard du Nord and within easy walking distance of many decent bars and restaurants. You can walk to most of the major sights in under an hour too.
The room was small but bigger than some I’ve stayed in at this price in a city centre.
Breakfast was better than expected.
All the staff were helpful and friendly with good English (putting my poor French to shame!).

We stayed for 2 nights during second week of March 2022. Well to start off the room wasn’t anything like the pictures! Very cramped, we had paid for an extra bed and it was a sofabed which is normal but you could feel the metal structure underneath! So we and our 8 year old son had to squeeze in into one bed. We asked to get the bed taken away but they didn’t. The carpet was sticky to walk on and we found a pair of random socks under the table! Tells you about the level of cleaning. No kettle, we got one access card so if someone had to nip out they would need the receptionist to open to lift for you! wasn’t expecting complimentary water but even the basics were missing! Add to the fact that we returned to couple of large wheelie bin standing right in front of the hotel entrance after a day out! Not pleasant! Wished we booked somewhere else!

Okayish place. Best part is the location.

The room was very small and bed was not very comfortable. Air con was kind of okay but it wasn't maintaining the temp you want it to do. When I first entered the bathroom, it was not very clean Coz I was able to see the spots on the basin.
There was no hot water kettle or tea etc in the room. Even to get some hot water, you need to go to the ground floor.

There isn't very much to comment about ibis hotels themselves, an ibis is an ibis. The things to comment on regarding ibis hotels are the location and the service.

The service: The lady at the reception could not find my booking even though I spelled my name phonetically and slowly. Then she wanted to see a printout of my booking. I told her that I do not have the printout with me. Then she was able to find it after all with the help of my passport.
On a positive note, we did manage to have an early check-in at 12noon.

The location: Practical for Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, both within 5 to 7 minutes walk.

Generally excellent. Extremely good staff, charming and helpful. Hotel within a few minutes' walk of Gare du Nord. Very basic room without kettle or room safe but nice apart from that. The only issue was that the water in the shower (which in itself was very good) took a long time to get hotter and, as I had turned it up became too hot, then went cold. judging the temperature was very difficult.

We are glad we found this hotel. It’s a gem. Very close to the Gare de Nord station. Which means easy access to the Metro. The area around the hotel is surrounded by many restaurant, shops, fast food outlets and tourist type shops + a big indoor market just a short walk away. We will definitely use this hotel again. The staff are really friendly that mostly speak English. We were very impressed with they security. You can’t go any where. Inside the building without your room swipe card. It controls all the doors and the lift. We would recommend this hotel to any traveller to Paris. Enjoy

The location of this hotel for Gare du Nord was excellent. There was an offer for Ibis so if I found the same offer again I would book this hotel as it was clean with a nice sitting area for tea and snacks. Also the staff were very nice and helpful. The bus tours stopped nearby so this was convenient too.

Extremely rude and unprofessional front desk staff. They denied us a baby crib even-though the request was made more than a week before arrival date. They even denied an extra blanket!!! where does the infant supposed to sleep? They could simply deny the request and I would have booked another hotel. Stay far away from this hotel.

Practical hotel near Gare du Nord

Practical. Near Gare du Nord and a small supermarket. Stayed for 1 night and did the job. Cleaners don’t hoover under the bed though.
We had a street-side room, no noise from outside whatsoever, but you could hear some noise from other rooms.
Night reception takes care of bar too, and had no idea of what was on the menu, we dropped it after 3 attempts at ordering and went outside instead.
Very efficient and secure luggage storage if you plan to walk around after check-in!

Check in and out was good, and the hotel is in a really good place in terms of traveling to different places in Paris. The room was just a bit run down, paint flaking off doors. Things looking aged. The floor and curtains weren't clean either. The lights near the side of the bed my partner used nearly gave him a shock.

The shower had no door or curtain to stop the water from going all over the bathroom; the toilet was dirty, having some blue fluid around the seating and the wall, it was showing that the cleaning lady \"tried\" to clean; no closet; very small and not well organised room; a small kettle would have been extreme to find in the room; very uncomfortable bed mattress.

Good convenient hotel.

Convenient for both Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and Gare d'Est with associated Metro stations. Clean comfortable hotel. Some nearby Asian restuarants (Bangladesh and Pakistan) offered excellent meals for €5.00.
