Do Not Stay Here -worst hotel experience in 40 yr

I stayed for no more than 10 mins. The state of this place, the condition of the room, ablutions and bed we awful.

The hotel was shabby with dust and paint splatters everywhere. It smelt of smoke. The hallway lights only swicthed on for seconds leaving me you use my phone torch to find the room.

The room was tiny with a very small double bed (1 & 3/4 size at best). The bed was made with blankets and sheets and no real pillows, the blankets were dirty and covered in hair.

The shower and toilet dark, dank and not clean.

This was hugely disappointing and resulted in me paying for an alternative hotel for the night.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY EVER. We got in around midnight. I should have known when there was a flight of steps to the \"reception\" area. The place was stinky and the noise from inside & out was horrible. We got up at 6:30am grabbed our luggage and wandered the city with 4 suitcases rather than stay another minute.

Hostel standards

For the price I didn't have high hopes, but as a single female traveller I would never recommend staying here. The location is good for the train stations but apart from that I felt very unsafe walking around.

It is better than a hostel since at least you have a toilet and a shower head off the sink in your room. For a back packer it would be fine but would never recommend for business or vacation.

This did not look like a hotel when u go inside, it's like a cheap urban Turkish room. there was no toilet inside. A man in the reception charged me twice, there was no internet, a remote tiny t.v in the room which was for show only, not just room but the building looked isolated and need good refurbishment.

The hotel to be honest is in a good location and had hot water for a shower, and to be honest that is enough for me, but i paid £40 for nights stay in a tiny hotel room that only had one toilet for about 8 rooms, the decor i dont think had been changed since the 1930s, the windows would not shut and i have seen better conditioned carpets in boot sales. For me these things are not too important but i do think the hotel is overpriced and should be a one or two star not rated as a three. But like i say it had a shower with hot water, the staff were very helpful and the location is only ten minutes walk from Gar de Nord.

Cheap (very) and convenient (very).

Look, if you're paying these kind of prices, and right next to Gare de l'Est too, you can't expect miracles. The Lorraine provides a basic room, with TV, and WiFi in the lobby. Desk staff are nice. Shower water is warm, hot even. And your bed is made during the day. There's no way you'd find anything, short of a hostel bed in a shared dorm, in London for rates like this. If you're after more comfort, more facilities, more service, fine, pay for them and stay elsewhere. For the budget traveller with few demands, and perhaps an early/late train to/from Paris, you won't find better.

Don't Stay Here.

We booked online, got a room and thought we had paid online via Hotels.com. We arrived, checked-in, the clerk barely spoke English but what can you expect, you're in their country. We went up to our room and the place was disgusting. The beds were maybe washed recently, hard to tell. The room was dirty. There wasn't a toilet in the room, it is down the hall. We decided that we didn't want to stay in that room so we decided to get a refund and get another hotel (there are a lot nearby, go to them). The hotel clerk said we weren't able to check out, we were in there for 5 minutes! He hid behind the language barrier between us, so we whipped out our French-English phrasebooks and rhymed off a few phrases. He quickly got the hint and called the owner. The owner too claimed he didn't know any English, although halfway through the conversation he was responding in proper sentences, so I don't know. He refused to give us our money back. We ended up staying across the street at a hotel for the same price that was 100 times better. Don't go here. Spare yourself.

Avoid at all costs

Didn't get what we payed for or what was advertised (no safe, and a double bed rather than 2 singles). The 'bathroom' was a broom cupboard with a shower you had stoop in to get under the water and had no lock. Worst the hotel insisted on keeping our key when we went out - something I was not pleased with and have never experienced before

Lovely breakfast (coffee, juice, croissant, bread made especially). Bed was comfortable but room didnt seem clean or hygienic, there was a stale smell, the shower and toilet too small. Fine for one night, right outside gare de l'est and close to gare du nord so good location. Noisy at night, no air con, no fresh air. Staff seemed nice tho

It is right next to Gare Du Elest (it's right outside your window) which is a main train hub and can get you anywhere. It is also the train line to get to Germany. Other than that convenience it has a nice staff who did speak English and were nice. The Wifi is only in the main area and it's not very large. Elevator, and rooms are beyond small. It also has a stale smell and the bed looked questionable.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The neighborhood is scary and the people are rude. The room itself was awful. The bed was lumpy and the bathroom was like a public bathroom. Someone knocked at my door for 10min at 2am for god knows what reason. Felt unsafe the entire time. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Please don't stay here!

I enjoyed my stay here. Close to train/subway, and easy to get into downtown. It is not fancy or large but perfect if you out exploring all day and just need a place to rest. I use earplugs so noise was not a problem, even without earplugs it was reasonably quiet. I would stay again.

This hotel was a huge disappointment.

The room was filthy, there is NO WIFI even though they advertise there is. Once you arrive they tell you WIFI is expensive, and they have limited connectivity if you stand near their reception desk. It does NOT go to rooms, and is so slow, if they are using it, or one other person it will not connect. The bedding is tattered, stained and the mattresses have been soiled and not cleaned.

The hotel was ideally situated for Gare De L'Est and the staff were friendly and accomodating. The lift was just about big enough for one person with luggage. and the room was clean and adequate. The most overiding feature was the pungent, stale smell which stayed even with the windows open. The breakfast was a croissant, an orange juice and coffee.

I had a 3 night stay in Paris before flying back home, the hotel's location is superb, as you can get to Gare du Nord on foot and you can also catch bus 350 from Gare De'l Est which takes you straight into Charles De Gaulle airport for only €6, which makes the location and connections great, however, the hotel's management are extremely unfriendly, there's no breakfast offered, and the rooms are tiny and dirty. My room had dirty bed sheets and the duvet had cigarette burns, also there was a bathroom in my room, but it was extremely tiny and quite awful. It's ok if you are travelling alone, but don't bring your wife, partner and kids to this hotel as it will be extremely uncomfortable for them.

A bed, but not much more. Decent location and very affordable considering how close it is to Gare de L'Est. Other than that, the bedroom was small, somewhat dirty and the walls were very thin. I just needed a place to sleep and was not too concerned about luxury or comfort. However, I probably wouldn't stay here again.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in

Absolutely horrible. The room was an 8x8 cube without a window or even a single power outlet. The hallways were about 2 feet wide and were pitch black - I couldn't even see the room number on the door. I moved to another room that had a shower and there was not shower curtain so the water flowed out on to the horrible warped floor. Of the three light bulbs in the room, only one actually worked. The only towel in the room measured 1 foot by 2 feet. Try drying off and mopping the soaking floor with that! The WIFI did not work. The walls we so incredible thin that I got to listen to my neighbors talk until 5 AM! The worst hotel I have ever been in.

Hotel Lorraine has a really friendly personel. None are great at english but you can make yourself understandable with a few phrases in french and handgestures. Rooms are a decent size and bath was fine. The location is great since its directly oppersite of gare d'lest and really close to gare du nord. We had shower in the room and toilets in the hall. The shower was really fine and the toilets were tolerable. All in all, it is a good choice for a couple who is out and about all the time and just need a place to sleep. The location is great and the price is low. Recommended.

Worst hotel experience in my whole life.

We had booked a room for two nights, when we get there they speak next to no English and try to tell us that we can't get a room until 6:30 the next morning but we can sleep on the floor in the lobby. After some arguing they give us a room that someone else has been sleeping in, they haven't even made the bed after them. And then at 6:30 we had to switch rooms. When it was time to check out they refused top give us any kind of discount for our trouble and terrible reception. It was also very hard to speak to any one working there because no one knew more then a few words of English. So overall the service was terrible, the rooms were discusting and the area it was in was fairly scetchy. I would recomend everyone to stay away from this place, easily one of the worst hotels you can imagine.

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Mais son manque d'entretien et l'état d'hygiène et de vétusté des lieux ne force pas à la recommandation.
La télécommande était tellement sale que je l'ai nettoyer moi-même avant de la toucher.
La douche avec des traces de moisissures...le papier toilette mouillé...pas de serviette ou même de tapis de sol.
Bref... trop cher pour ça.

Vraiment je sais pas comment je vais commencer mais on va commencer comment ça se passer et du coup ça commence avec des manques de respect qui le mec il a pas trouvé Ma réservation et que je devais appeler Hotel.com pour que le un Rappels et comme ça le mec il prend la pelle la peine de chercher ma réservation Breff on arrivons bien sur l’accueil ça a été tellement chaleureux vraiment le mec on dirait des réceptions on dirait que il m’accueille chez lui genre il me parle de où il prend les gens de haut Breff et je voulais inviter un peu un ami à moi il est j’ai dit je suis allé le voir je lui dis et je vais inviter un ami à moi et du coup MEHDI OK on arrivant il m’a dit bah non t’as pas le droit j’ai dit tu m’as dit OK elle m’a dit non c’est ma loi qu’il marche comme ça ici lui OK Eau je voulais aller manger je lui ai dit il m’a dit oh écoute à partir de deux heures la porte est fermée et on est pas en prison de toutes les cages laisser la clé je suis parti je revenu à 6h du matin ensuite on rentrant à la chambre j’ai trouvé toutes mes affaires sans fouiller dedans vraiment c’est la honte on est en 2022 on voit des trucs comme ça vraiment et alors là je vous raconte pas vraiment la saleté là Luder le vraiment la catastrophe la catastrophe vraiment

예상치 못한 사고로 급히 잡은 호텔로 어둡고 좁은 복도를 지나 문을 열고 들어가면 기울어진듯한 바닦의 방이 나오고 들어서면 걷는 발걸음마다 삐걱거리는 소리가 들립니다. 침대 매트는 오래된듯 가운데가 푹 꺼져있고 화장실은 비좁고 세면대는 세면을 할 수 없을 정도로 작았습니다. 호텔닷컴의 예약 가격보다 호텔에서 영수증 처리하는 가격의 차이가 많이 납니다.
다만 파리 동역과 시가지가 보이는 뷰는 괜찮습니다.

Problème de train. Arrivé trop tôt à Paris. Nuit contrainte.

La personne à la réception était \"plutôt\" agréable mais il m'a fallu 20 minutes pour la convaincre que j'avais effectivement réservé. Il m'a cru lorsqu'il s'est aperçu que j'étais passé par vos services. Or, il nous pouvait vérifier ma réservation parce qu'il n'avait plus le mot de passe de son compte \"hébergeur\" chez vous...

Le reste est indicible...

Vétusté, porte en bois brisée, bruits... Prises électriques dégradées. Probablement pas aux normes... Donc dangereux. Je n'ai pas pu fermer l’œil.

Certes, j'ai payé 45 euros. Certes, nous sommes à Paris et je réserve le jour même.

Mais, en tout état de cause, cela reste indécent voire scandaleux.

Evidemment, je déconseille. Et je n'en dirai pas plus.

J'avais fait une réservation de deux jours...j'ai du quitter l'hôtel et me reloger ailleurs en perdant la somme que j'avais versée.Très sonore, une chambre qui sentait le tabac et un voisin qui a hurlé et juré une partie de la nuit !
Il n'y avait qu'une prise pour la télévision, pratique pour recharger son téléphone et son ordinateur de travail
Le personnel, de bonne volonté, n'a rien pu faire !! J'ai pu échangé avec eux sur les raisons de mon départ.
Je ne comprends pas que vous recommandiez cet hôtel sur votre site sans en avoir fait l'expérience vous-même.
Comment assurez-vous les dédommagements ?

Une chambre , pas super propre, des cheveux dans la serviette , dans le lit , pas d'oreillers, carrelage cassé devant la douche,une fenêtre sans poignée qui ne se ferme pas du coup, une prise de courant cassé derrière la porte, et la seule autre prise est derrière la télé dans un renfoncement en hauteur. enfin pour 75 euros la nuit c'est quand même relativement très cher pour la qualité général de l'hotel.

パリ東駅の真ん前でTGVなど使う場合、とても便利です。
ホテル入口からフロントまでの１階分はエレベーターがなく階段を登らなければならない。
私の使った部屋は、部屋の中にトイレはなく、ワンフロアーに１つ男女共有のトイレがありました。

パリ東駅徒歩1分、向かいにはスーパーやマクドナルドなど抜群の立地条件。朝起きて窓を開けたらパリの街並みが眼下に見受けられます。非常に歴史を感じるエレベーターは定員2名、トイレは各階に共用が1つ、WiFi・テレビ完備。受付の方は親切でした。

Basic hotel, op loopafstand van Gare du Nord

Heel eenvoudig hotel met bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. De kamer stelt niet veel voor, maar je betaalt ook niet veel. Bed was slecht, badkamer (met uitstekende douche) zit in de kledingkast en elke trein die Gare de l'Est binnenrijdt, hoor je.

N'y allez surtout pas

Quand nous sommes arrivés, le personnel de l'hôtel était au téléphone. Il a pris tout son temps pour terminer sa conversation avant d'enfin nous recevoir pour au final finir dans une salle d'attente parce qu'il fallait nous \"trouver\" une chambre, il était 23h15, nous avions qu'une hâte de nous coucher ! Nous sommes montés dans notre chambre au moins 20min plus tard.
Dans la chambre, je crois que nous avons eu la chance d'avoir des draps propres sinon tout le reste était affreux ! Les câbles de la tv et du décodeur pendaient partout, nous n'avons même pas osé l'allumé de peur de faire disjoncter l'hôtel. Et grosse surprise : il n'y avait aucune douche ! Les toilettes sont communes, mais pour se laver .... Et puis le petit coin \"salle de bain\", ne comportait donc qu'un lavabo sans possibilité d'avoir de l'eau chaude.
Et ne parlons pas de l'isolation qui est totalement médiocre. On aurait pu participer à la conversation de la chambre d'à côté.
Vraiment, je déconseille fortement cet hôtel.

il sent de tabac ,on entend touts ce que les voisins disent à cause des mures super fines, il n' y a pas de rideau pour la douche et le toilette n'est pas dans la chambre . c'est dégelasse et il ne desserve même pas 20 euros

Séjour moyen, chambre abîmée: trous dans la porte de la salle de bains, cette dernière ne ferme pas complètement, on sent des trous lorsque l'on marche sur la moquette et ce dans toute la chambre ce qui rend le bureau et la chaise PRESQUE INSTABLE, poignée de la porte très mal fixée, trous dans le couvre-lit probablement dû à des cigarettes et toilettes communes pour l'étage. Service assez bien et personnel agréable. Je trouve que payer 55 euros, même pour un l'hôtel localisé à Paris Gare de l'Est, c'est trop cher quand on reçoit une chambre dans cet état là. Je ne le recommanderais pas.

Malgré un bon accueil, l'établissement m'a laissé perplexe (vomis dans la montée d'escalier, pas de lumière dans les toilettes commun, douche sans eau chaude, pas de lumière dans la salle de bain de la chambre et dès cloisons très minces car nous avons eu le droit aux ébats sexuel d'une chambre qui ce trouvais 2 chambres plus loin) je sais que 47€ c'est pas le luxe mais un minimum

la wifi déconne ( pratiquement impossible de regarder un film).
Toute petite chambre.

Slidt hotel, god placering

Hotellet var ok til prisen. Det var meget slidt, men service var god og hotellet var placeret dejlig centralt. Wc er ude på gangen om man deler det med alle som er på den etage, det er dermed ikke privat som de skriver i opslaget.

It was ok

It was okay, clean and decent if all you need is a place to stay and dont expect anything fancy. Wifi could have worked better but it reached into room even though the receptionist told me it worked only at the room behind the reception. You also hear pretty much everything people do in the room around.

Per chi ha poche pretese ed ha voglia di spendere poco può andare,la posizione è davvero comoda per chi vuole spostarsi in metro. Personale cordiale. Le camere sono piccolissime e le condizioni igieniche non molto alte. Un consiglio: prenotate solamente la camera con bagno privato(INTERNO).
