This is the perfect hotel for a short stay and really well located being so close to a metro so if you really want to spend your time in Paris getting out and about then this is the ideal place to stay to lay your head, the staff were very nice and friendly as well

Very clean room, comfortable bed and a good shower. Rooms are basic, but functional and warm. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic, but fresh and a good start to the day.

Neighbouring rooms are easily heard, which isn’t ideal. Fortunately I had earplugs, but my wife did not. Tables in the breakfast area are a little cramped.

Overall good value stay, despite the negatives I would recommend.

Cute dinky hotel, as it says in the name!! We needed to spend one night in Paris, and this hotel offers exactly what one needs for a night. Nice shower, clean room and clean comfortable beds. Very basic but perfect if you’re not fussed about glitz and glamour! Staff were friendly and the location is great!

Check in went well, staff is friendly. Let us leave our luggage after checking out, free of charge. The room was okay but there were a few hairs on the bed and the pillows weren’t great. What actually bothered me was the weird smell, which we eventually figured out was coming from the toilet ?

Reception could be friendlier. But check in was fast and easy. Tiny one person elevator present. Which is unique and handy. Rooms and hotel are clean. Small but good value for money. Water pressure is very good. Noise from the hall way travels through very loud. Location wise is very convenient. Close to many dining places and only half hour walk from the Louvre. Around the corner next door is an extremely good bakery. Would recommend.

This property was ideal for me. Functional, comfortable, compact and clean, also a 15 minute walk from where I needed to be for the few days I was in Paris. There is only one inconvenience and that is the lift is really only for one person and a small bag. If you have something a bit larger, you have to put the bag in the lift and you follow using the stairs. It's not really a negative, rather than a minor inconvenience but it's workable. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend. I would stay there again when visiting Paris!

Great location, close to the Metro and buses. Easy to get anywhere around Paris. On the bus route between Gare de Lyon and Gare du Nord if your coming into France by train. Great local restaurants. The accommodation is basic but very adequate. I'll definitely stay again.

Easy check in, nice breakfast and friendly staff. This is a family owned hotel so I felt good about supporting them. Easy access to everywhere in paris by metro, bus or walking - it was perfect for me as I was traveling alone! Great Lebanese restaurant right across the street!

This hotel is very small. The elevator only fits 1 person with small luggage. Our room was on the top floor as soon as we opened the door to our room we had to walk up a flight of stairs which is inconvenient if you have suitcases.
The bathroom was very small and the ceiling was slanted meaning we hit our heads when in the bath/shower and when standing at the sink. The shower was hand held and there is no shower curtain meaning water went everywhere. The bathroom window is also completely see through meaning anyone in the neighbouring properties can see into the bathroom.
The bedroom had a nice balcony type double door which let in lots of fresh air and light.
The other window in our room was inconvenient as the curtains don’t shut properly and therefore let too much light in when trying to sleep.
There was only one mirror in our room which was the bathroom mirror. There was minimal storage, could only hang around 6 items of clothing.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Only provided two pillows which were both UNBELIEVABLY hard and left us with neck pains.
The hotel is close to metro stations and therefore gave us easy access to Disney, Eiffel Tower etc.
quite a few food places and shops nearby which is handy.
The lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful and kept our bags stored on the day of checkout until our flight.

As the name suggests, the hotel is little in all things but if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Paris then this ticks all the boxes.
There is a Metro station within 100 yards, lots of restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep.
The hotel rooms are small, clean and the en-suite looked pretty new and in very good condition.
If you're claustrophobic, you might have a problem with the 'two person' lift which realistically is a one-person lift. If you won't go in the lift and your room is on the third floor or above, it's quite a hike up the stairs. However, I write this as a 60 , overweight, unfit person. For you, this may not be a problem.
The staff answered any queries we had and were pleasant. The booking in and out was very easy and quick, literally seconds.
As we used the Metro to get to the more famous landmarks, I couldn't say how far the walk would have been but I'd say that this Hotel is well situated for people who want to explore Paris

Great location next to Metro station and close to République, which is a major hub to go anywhere in Paris. Close to bakeries, cafes, restaurants, stores, shopping. Hotel was renovated, friendly staff. Rooms are clean. My room had a bathroom issue so I asked to change. Manager was very accommodating. Free Wifi, cable TV. Breakfast was included. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. A little gem for a reasonable price.

Nice, charming, smaller hotel on a quiet street. Very attentive staff. If you like to walk and discover Paris, The Louvre, Notre-Dame and Montmartre are less than 30 minutes away. We stayed there for 4 days and never once took the Metro. We also walked to La Gare du Nord (20 minutes) and took the train from there to the Airport. The room was compact, but very comfortable with a very nice bathroom The Buffet breakfast (included in our package) was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. I recommend Hotel Little for your next stay in Paris.

This is the hotel that we spent our honeymoon at in 1972. It is basic. The place has in the meantime been redone and the en suite shower rooms are very modern and much roomier than they used to be, However the restraints of the building mean it lives up to its name. There is not much room. The quirky two person lift up the centre of the spiral staircase will not allow two to take a suitcase upstairs! We did not rise early enough ti take benefit from the in hotel breakfast but there are many cafes bars and bistros to provide breakfast and a large supermarket and two artisinal boulangeries in the vicinity to provide one’s needs. The district has many good restaurants and opposite is an exquisite and welcoming Lebanese restaurant the we visited twice during our five day stay: for dinner on our first night and lunch on our last day. The staff are informed Andrew helpful and spoke very good english. The domestic staff make a visible effort to keep the building sanitised.

We have now visited three times and have not been disappointed. The location is walking distance from Gare du Nord, Gare de l’est and many many attractions, even for us, in our seventies.

I had a nice stay. The picture of the room on Hotels.com showed a shower, however, it had a tub with a small shower attachment with no shower curtain so water went everywhere. I asked for another room due to no shower and was given a handicapped room that had a shower and appreciated the accomodation. Metro was very close, when exiting the hotel, turn left, keep straight, once at the corner, turn right and it's there. The house keeper was friendly and assisted me down many stairs with my suitcase in room 504. Cozy, clean and comfortable.

It is close to many facilities in Paris, including Metro station. It is clean and with a good shower. However, there is refrigerator, there is always a huge noise coming in from the street, because there is a store with many delivery boys chatting all the time just under the Hotel~s windows. Another inconvenience is that there is no condit. air nor a fan to refresh during the hot summer of Paris. of course, the price is is a good deal, so its your choice!

Being alone the room as fine, two people NO way. My husband could not even have gotten in the shower. Good stay at an Ideal location for tourists

We had a good stay at this hotel the staff were over helpful and very clued up with the tourist areas as well as the metro lines,restaurants and were able to give advise on a number of tourist attractions etc .The location is excellent as the tour bus line,metro rail ,buses and eating places are very close.It was definitely ideal for our stay and no doubt will recommended to family and friends -haven't downloaded photos as yet

The hotel was located near the train station which is good. However, that neighbourhood has nothing much. Need to walk further down to other stations for more food and shop options.

Hotel has no fridge nor kettle. Otherwise would be good. Receptionist helped to provide hot water in a metal cup upon request. Good service.

It charges for WiFi and breakfast despite being included in the package I bought.

Excellent location, great price considering the Marche des Fiertés (Gay Pride March) was taking place that evening just a short walk away.
I would have given a higher score for comfort if there was air conditioning - the room was a bit too warm.
The tiny old fashioned lift and spiral staircase are quaint and full of character, but not great for heavy luggage.

Staff was rude. I was charged for breakfast that I already paid for and had confirmation. There was mold. No air conditioning. The elevator is a closet. The shower is an even smaller closet and the doors slide off. It reeks of cigarettes in nonsmoking rooms. Be prepared to pay 7 euros for an ounce of diluted \"orange juice\" and stale bread for the breakfast. Oh and forget wifi. You have to manually connect and put in a alphanumeric password every time you turn your screen off. Not coming back.

A friendly, functional base for inner city Paris

This is not a 5 star luxury hotel, but for a traveler on a budget seeking to spend a few days exploring Paris, there is nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. We forgot to bring our European plugs converters with us and the receptionist lent us his cell phone charger until we were able to buy a converter. On the first night we checked in after 12pm. We enjoyed the very simple continental breakfasts. They were filling and tasty enough. On the evening before we left we were asked to pay a mandatory room tax of approximately a Euro per person per day. This was not included when we originally paid. The receptionist spent a long time helping us to work out the best route to travel to our onward destination which had the potential to be complicated because we needed to leave just at the time that the Paris Metro had to open.

Avoid in any case-The worst hotel experience ever

Old dirty hotel. Smell of cigarettes in the room despite that we had booked a non-smoking room. When asked to change, the reception told us that all rooms are smoking rooms (despite expedia.co.uk showing that we booked a non-smoking room). Rude reception. Hearing women having night fun, we realised that this might be a short stay hotel for pairs. Worst of all; Posters everywhere stating that the hotel management is not responsible for lost items in the room. So, the hotel management states everywhere that on our absence out visiting the city, they are not responsible if someone steal things from our locked room? This was my worst hotel experience ever.

Extra charges and expensive breakfasts

It cost 3 Euros per day for use of the wifi and an astonishing 14 Euros for petit dejeuner - which consisted of half a baguette, a croissant a coffee and a glass of fruit juice. Not surprisingly, after the first day I avoided breakfast at the hotel and instead went out and spent approx 8 Euros for breakfast at one of the local cafes.

I was also charged 10 Euros 'city tax', although from what I have found on the internet it should have been a maximum of 6 Euros - and that would have been for a top hotel, not a 2 star hotel like this one.

The room was fine - no tea making facilities etc but it had a safe which was useful (and it was free to use).

All in all this hotel was not as good value as it first appeared and I would not want to return.

Hotel Little is a comfortable place to stay just around the corner from Jacques Bonsergent station. It's only a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord and a 30 min. walk into the city center.
My room was on the 5th floor and the layout was a bit unusual (stairs leading up to the main room/slanted walls in the bathroom). That said, the main room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was a member of the hotel staff in the lobby at all times and they will keep your luggage there before check-in/after check-out. I didn't use their wi-fi, but it is available for a daily charge.

If you want to know the Paris locals

If you want to know the real locals in Paris and stay away from the commercial area, it's a budget hotel you would like. This hotel locates in a tiny avenue that's hard to be found on the map, but within walking distance from the Eurostar Gare du Nord station and Metro stations. My daughter and I spent entire morning strolling through the neighborhood. Local stores and residences, bakeries, bars and restaurants, schools, gardens, even the beautiful canal with small bridges are all near by. The little hotel has a tall big French guy who hardly smiles but very responsible and hardworking. If you want to leave your luggages with the hotel, you just need to put them right there in the lobby area. They don't go to storage room or get tagged. You got to trust this guy's personal surveillance several feet away. If the taxi is late, he would put himself on the cell standing in the middle of that tiny street shouting his lung out to make sure your taxi comes in minutes. Breakfast is simple in a cave like setting downstairs. You get baguette, coffee and orange juice. To our surprise, the breakfast was also served by this tall French guy. This time you get to see big smile on his face.
