I didn’t care for the Ponderosa building. I had requested the main lodge and when we arrived we were placed in another building. The staff at the desk told me if you reserve through Expedia it wasn’t an option. Very disappointed.

Ruby’s Inn is an attraction in itself when visiting Bryce Canyon. The complex features shops, restaurants, and plenty to explore in the surrounding area. The rooms were nice, with comfortable beds and adequate towels and toiletries. The complimentary breakfast buffet at the restaurant was excellent and a great way to start the day.

Overall the property was good…but the room was small cramped and warn very dated underwhelming for price. Buffet both dinner and breakfast was average all canned prepared foods nothing made from scratch. The General Store was incredible..It’s Buc-ee's of Utah!

Pool was cold, hot tub had soooo much chlorine in it and the ammonia smell burned my eyes and continuously was overcrowded beyond the stated maximum. General store is super overpriced, there are other stores like 15 mins away that are way cheaper. Staff in the general store was rude every single time we went in and acted inconvenienced that they have to ring us out. Staff at front counter was good though. Also, the coffee shop on site…. The prices on their website are almost half of the prices you see on the board when you walk in…. We turned right back around and left without making a purchase because of that. I’m not sure why they sell s’mores supplies at the general store and have nowhere onsite for you to roast them. Shower was hard to control and water continuously changed temperature without us adjusting. Breakfast was okay.

If you go in understanding that this property's purpose is to accommodate and move masses of people, this is a fine stay. It's very clean and efficiently run. If on the other hand you're more comfortable with a slower pace look elsewhere. The issue is finding such a place in this area. So, for access to the park this was just fine

It's very big and well, just a little old and need better maintenance, and the room I stayed felt vibration when upstair was running or making some big movement. But it still a good place to stay.

Shower does not drain well and make loud squeaky noise every time you move around in it. Location is ideal only a few minutes fdom park entrance.

Horrible hotel but not much choice in Bryce. Pool was way overcrowded, breakfast was disgusting - powdered eggs, fake yoghurt, fake everything. Rooms were really dated, not that clean, no lifts to upper floors, really thin walls.

Although it was great to have 2 King beds in our room for our family of 4, we were on the 1st floor and could hear the people above us walking around throughout our stay. The food at the buffet is ok for a free breakfast, but dinner was expensive for the quality of the meal. You can't beat the location, just outside the national park and the property is very walkable to all amenities.

Had issue on Expedia side bot booking our room with hotel It was a stressful time since there are not many options in this area Knowing i was stressed the manager was not at all consoling or free to help only there to scold me for me reaching over counter for something to write on while on phone with Expedia. In the end after 90 minutes Expedia did reach the hotel staff and get our reservation straighten out Would recommend hotel just wish it had gone smoother

The hotel is just a couple of minutes outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. There is a water machine near the lobby to fill your water jugs as well as a coffee and hot water machine. A gift shop and grocery store, as well as a restaurant are accessible from the lobby.

Cool place. Laundry room (huge plus but) needs quarters for dryers but doesn’t have a coin machine, so go prepared. Most of the attractions seem to be seasonal so weren’t open during our stay in April, but we really did enjoy all we got to see and do, and it’s super close to Bryce Canyon!

The beds in the room were tiny … it was not that comfortable even for 4 people. The rooms themselves are a bit dark and dingy. We liked the breakfast buffet and main lodge; good place for kids. Not good for a romantic trip.

You could feel the floor move in the bathroom when someone was walking near a bed. Staff was all excellent from the front desk to the restaurant and the store. Only complaint was the room. Which luckily we were on in long enough to sleep and shower

Food in restaurant was just okay. Room clean, but could hear people in rooms on either side. Pool located a far walk or a drive from most of the rooms, yet only one changing room in pool bathroom (floor very wet). A line of 7 women waiting to change out of wet suits to leave pool area. If you dont wait in the line, you can walk thru the lobby on your wet suit to return to outside to walk back to your room. Very good proximity to Bryce NP.

The property has some cool features and its proximity to the park is great. Breakfast was pretty good and there are a lot of helpful amenities like laundry and a large shop. However, the rooms were outdated and the beds were not comfortable. The pool was was almost unbearable with chemical chlorine smell. But all in all its fine.

After checking into the hotel, it was continuously noisy. Children were running around, and there was constant noise from people in the lounge as well as loud thumping sounds from the floor above, making it impossible to rest comfortably. Even after 10 PM, conversations were still loud, so it was difficult to sleep.

The building is very old, and there is almost no soundproofing. The bathroom ventilation fan is extremely loud, and you can clearly hear the toilet flushing from the room above. Overall, it was very disappointing for the price.

Check-in was a breeze. This hotel deals with a lot of people extremely efficiently. The pool and hot tub were pretty busy and a bit of a hike from our roomso we unfortunately did not use them. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and again, despite the amount of people, we got in pretty quick. Overall, I would recommend this place.

This property is massive as far as the number of rooms. We were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking. What a disappointment that there was only one tiny hot tub for a thousand people. The pool area was packed and way too small. Each house of rooms should have their own pool and hot tub since they are all the size of most hotels. The room was clean and staff friendly however the pillows were lumpy and should be replaced and the towels thin. I woke up during the night because the person in the next door room had a coughing attack. The walls are very thin.

The check in process was easy and staff was efficient.
The room was outdated with very small pillows in the bed ( 14”x14”) that I would use on my couch. The bed was not comfortable and we could hear every noise above, outside and next door.
The room smelled like wet dog and our bathroom ceiling had a few spots of black mold above the shower.
It was late once we saw the mold and had unpacked. We left early in the morning and didn’t want to repack and change rooms.

A great stay for the price! The rooms are a bit dated and the food was just okay, but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is ideal. The boys made friends at breakfast and ended up meeting later to swim, which was such a fun bonus. The laundry was conveniently located and easy to use as well, however would recommend a coin machine in there. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Great location for visiting Bryce canyon. Staffs are super friendly. Room is fine. Spacious for 4 family members and it has micro oven and freezer which makes simple cooking convenient. The best thing was breakfast. It was the only hotel I experienced in my life in the US that doesnt use disposable plates and plastic forks. They had a variety of hot foods including scrambled egg, french toast, soup, sausage, and oatmeal. They even served various fresh fruits. One thing I didnt like was that the pool was not that clean. My kids enjoyed swimming there though.

Was very excited to stay here. Once we arrived, I realized that this was not a hotel, most of the rooms were detached, and far away from the main building, and motels. I did not feel comfortable, and made it hard to have to get to the pool and restaurants of the hotel since you had to walk or drive. It was super cold outside, so we had to drive to get dinner, etc. We didn't even try to swim, it was completely packed with people, same for the hot tub. We went to the buffet for dinner, which was extremely bland basic food, and I have the palette of a third grader so my standards are super low. The breakfast buffet was better, and complimentary.

There didn't seem to be a lot of places around Bryce Canyon, so it's not the worst place to stay. Park was 10 minute drive. The detached motel style rooms really threw me, however, and didn't get the fun, comfortable experience I was hoping for.

Beds were full size and not queen. Had to call to get Fridge working, which turns out it was unplugged from behind entertainment center. Then there wasn't any shampoo in shower, it was equipped with two body wash bottles... wife wasn't happy about this after getting in shower and no shampoo. Kids did love the pool which is one of the big reasons we were there.

Easy place to stay just outside Bryce N.P. Room was clean, and the included breakfast was a large buffet assortment in the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel is a busy place, but it was still easy to check in and maneuver around the property. I would stay again if visiting the park - so close!!
