We absolutely LOVED staying here! The room was beautiful, clean and the bed so comfortable! Just off the main beach front promenade for shopping & tons of dining options. The staff was super friendly - Lefteri and his son Dimitrious were helpful with planning excursions and making recommendations for dining and sunset watching in Fira. We were spoiled every morning with an amazing breakfast delivered right to our pool side terrace. Starting each day with the sounds of waves rolling in, delicious food and a picturesque view was perfect to celebrate 30 years of marriage. We definitely plan a return to Santorini and will stay at the beautiful and picturesque KALYA Suites again!

We stayed here for our first 2 nights on Santorini and it was fabulous. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was lovely and breakfast delicious. The location was great - right on the beach. Most importantly, the staff were amazing. My son was unwell and had to go to hospital and they really went above and beyond to support us. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel!

The hotel isn't right on the beach, but it's only a minute's walk away, which makes it quieter and more private. There's an almost 24-hour little mini shop beside the hotel with nearly everything you could need, and there's an ATM right out front. Oh, and the host is the best—super nice and hospitable. He even helped us book a taxi and rent a car!

Hotel was beautiful and the owner and his son were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were gorgeous , cleaners came in everyday. Close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Pool area so quiet and relaxing . perfect location. Very disappointed with breakfast , you do not get it delivered to your room , you have to go to a nearby restaurant which has a limited /poor set menu. we only went once all week. Otherwise it is perfect.

Our favourite stay in Santorini was at Kalya Suites! The hotel was absolutely amazing, and our room was spacious, clean and modern. The balconies were private and ours offered a beautiful view on the sea where we were served breakfast in the morning.

The staff was amazing! We had arranged transportation from the airport to Kalya Suites, and three staff members were awaiting us at the entrance of the hotel helping us with our luggage and with the check-in process. The pool was super quiet and peaceful, with bar service offered from morning to late evening.

Other hotels on the Main Street across the beach were not that private, and we felt very fortunate to have book at Kalya Suites for more privacy. The hotel is also located a minute walk away from the beach, restaurants and shops on the main street but far enough from the relatively loud downtown Kamari. We are already hoping to come back soon, and would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Kalya Suites from May 1-May 7. We had an excellent stay. As soon as we arrived, the welcome party was there, Savvas, Popi, Kali, and John (not sure if that's how his name is spelled.)
The hotel room was spacious, with a balcony- good view of the water. the hotel has a very nice pool area- unfortunately we were not able to enjoy it because its was cool during those days, and we were always on the go. Daily breakfast is served in your room, for the specific time that you request- just be sure to check the food items for the next day.
Best of all is the staff- they are the most accommodating, patient, and easy to talk to. Savvas is the best- whenever we needed something, or help- he has the answer, and he will take care of it. He was always available, and always had a bright smile. Popi, and Betty- the front desk staff- so pleasant, and personable. Never a dull moment with them.
The other staff members were very helpful as well.
The hotel is accessible to the beach, and the restaurants. The hotel is in Kamari- seaside area, and it is more laid back, accessible to a lot of things.
If in the future I return to Santorini, Kalya Suites will be my hotel of choice.
Thank you Savvas, and staff for making our stay a memorable one.

We had a fantastic stay at the Kalya Suites (again). The rooms have been renovated and are now very on trend. The mattress was the most comfortable I have ever slept on and the mini bar was a great addition to the room, cold drinks on tap!. The breakfast served on the terrace was superb. The staff are all so friendly and helpful from the cleaners to the management. Due to coronavirus we deliberately avoid the pool area on this visit but that was personal choice, the pool is great though. We would definitely return again & again.

A very good choice

A good choice of hotel. We were very happy there. I would have given 10/10 perfect score but for the bathroom which was very, very small, and in common with many other places, the shower curtain just was not good enough to keep water from straying outside. Otherwise it was very good. The bedroom was great. The whole place was clean and the breakfast excellent. Location could hardly be better.

Loved everything about this place. But (and it's a big \"but\"), the hotel and nearby beach are located in the flight path of planes coming into the nearby airport. I don't know if this pattern is everyday but it was all day and part of the night while we were there. Quite loud!

Property was disappointing overall and would not recommend this place. Cleanliness of the room was an issue. The shelf beneath the sink was dirty- full of dust and dirt. Floor of the room felt sticky from the cleaning product they use. On my last day, the water wouldn’t quite drain from the shower and when I looked at the drain, i pulled out clumps of hair. Granted it was my hair, but clearly they didn’t clean it for several days. stayed a week and midweek, I placed the bath mat towel in the corner of the bathroom to indicate I wanted a new one. They just put it right back. The next day, I crumpled it and put it by the door. Nope, still put it back but this time, they flipped the bath mat to the other side. I had to tell them I wanted a new bath mat towel.
Also, breakfast was supposed to be served from 8 AM to 10 AM. Breakfast was never ready at 8 am- the girl who whose job it was to put out the food was just getting ready to put the food out at 8 am while checking her phone, eating her cereal, and trying to wake up. I had a tour booked who were coming to pick me up at 8:30. Needless to say, I didn’t have breakfast that day, except for a slice of ham and cheese. Breakfast is mediocre- don’t expect much. Lastly, I would think twice about eating the fruit salad. I saw the girl coughing while cutting the fruit to put in the bowl- doesn’t have a clue about basic food hygiene. The same girl also cleans the room- hello dirty room.

Really nice hotel

Very nice facilities, lovely room, and good location if you want to be near the airport.
Good pool, and lots of extras in the room.
Unfortunately the wifi was pretty average and dropped out lots, but that will be a function of how many people are using it.
The hotel claimed they never got my transfer request even though I had a ‘sent’ confirmation, which made arrival pretty awkward.
Other than that, we would recommend it.

Close to everything.
No need to pay the ridicules price for a private transport or a taxi from the airport. Just take the public bus to Fira and then to Kamari. 40 euros vrs 3.60. Your decision.
The hotel is very nice. Lots of very nice restaurants nearby. A supermarket almost in front of it.
The staff was very nice, and Maria, the owner, very helpful. The other Maria is a very nice lady as well. The place is Very clean and quiet. I always carry my earplugs everywhere I go. No need in this place.
I definitely recommend it, and would be happy to stay there again.

Lovely friendly hotel, very comfortable clean rooms with fresh towels everyday. Maria the owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with a great range of options. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and great cocktails served from the bar.

Good value for money for families

One of the better and more affordable areas of Santorini. Located in a peaceful lane. There is only one house between the Kamari beach and Kalya Suites (this hotel). Very good access to the beach. Bus station is 10 minutes' walk. A lot of reasonable beachside cafes and restaurants around. Overall very nice place.

We had a family suite (2 adults and 2 kids). The 4-person suites are on the upper floor without lift/elevator. That was a problem for us because we had a lot of luggage.

Secondly, the kids' beds were on the upper mezzanine floor in the suite, whose ceiling height is at most 4.5 feet. At the entrance to the upper mezzanine floor, the ceiling height is less than 3 feet. So getting in/out of those beds was a challenge even for kids.

Pool is small. No jacuzzi.

Breakfast has good variety. We are vegetarian but we could eat. Tomato/Cucumber, cheese slices, few varieties of bread, Cereal, milk, coffee, cookies, cake slices - was more than enough. There was also a grilled sandwich maker, which helped making nice sandwiches. One small problem - when we asked to warm to milk for kids, they refused to do so. Also, they did not have ketchup (which was strange).

Overall, good value for money.

It is a small, but beautiful hotel, 100 meters from the black beach. Maria and her staff are very friendly and helpful. She organized tours for us, gave us a drive to a nice wine museum with wine testing, and even, due to our early flight, let us in the room at 9 AM and offered us a free breakfast. We were welcomed by cold drinks after driving all the way from the port. Stayed for a relaxing 2 nights. Air condition, beds in the room in good condition. Powerful shower and enough free toiletries for 4 members of our family and they were refilled after use. Property is within walking distance to black sand beach which has many restaurants along it. A convenient store is just opposite of this property. We have to park some distance away from the property though.

A week's holiday near to the beach (1 minute's walk!), but not in the centre of town, this was perfect! A clean, fresh and not over-crowded accommodation (9 studio apartments) lies at the end of a 2km stretch of restaurants, bars and gift shops plus a supermarket and ATM on the way to the beach. Very friendly staff and lovely owner Maria who will do all she can to make your stay enjoyable.

We had an amazing holiday, everything was just perfect. Hotel is amazing with a lovely swimming pool and bar. Rooms are extremely clean and well furnished. Lovely touches with hairdryer and toiletries, dressing gown, slippers. Very well looked after by all staff, glass of orange juice on our arrival. we are a gay couple and felt very accepted in the hotel and island. Santorini is just beautiful. Amazing - would definitely recommend!!!

We came out to Santorini, with our children aged 3 and 7 for my brother's wedding, and made it a family holiday in one! We stayed form 24/8/25 - 7/9/15, and could easily have stayed another week!

Maria could not do enough for us! As soon as we arrived, she helped us with our luggage, and showed us into the room, and we where then given a refreshing cocktail, and juice for the kids. The room was spacious, with a double bed, and a pull out sofa bed, which was huge (even bigger than ours) for the kids to sleep on. The rooms where cleaned, and fresh towels provided everyday!

There was plenty to choose from for breakfast, fresh fruit, honey, Greek yoghurt, pastries, toast, bread, jams, cheese, ham, sausages, bacon, eggs, and even omelettes! We couldn't manage a lunch later on, so just had an evening meal.

The location is perfect, just less then 2 minute walk around the corner to the beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants to choose from, all set along side the beach with amazing views out to sea. And around a 10 minute walk to the bus-stop, which takes you into Thira, from there you can get the bus to most other places on the island.

It was our son's 8th birthday while we where there as well, and Maria even had a cake made for his birthday - all as a gift from her to him! She is simply amazing, and could not do enough for you, always checking in passing, if thee was anything you needed, and that everything was ok!

We will definitely return one day!!

Excellent stay, comfortable, close to beach and village. 5 day stay and never bored. Hotel owner and staff very beautiful and friendly people, also very helpful. If you don't want to spend time at the beach or taverns you can relax by the pool or the veranda of hotel. Would recommend to family, friends and everybody, did not want to leave!

Kayla Suites is an excellent establishment, the staff were courteous and friendly. The accommodation is very clean. Maria the owner is a star! She helped us out when our flight was cancelled at short notice ringing round other hotels to find us somewhere to stay at the height of the season. She took us to the hotel and checked it was suitable for us even telling us we could continue using the facilities at Kayla if we wanted to. I can't speak highly enough of her.

The owner Maria and staff made us very welcome.

Kalya studios/suites are about 2 minutes walk from the local beach, supermarket and numerous restaurants.
The restaurants are reasonably priced and we didn't have a bad meal all week. Restaurant sun beds are available at 7 euros per day or alternatively if you have lunch they are free.

Our studio was well equipped and even had added luxuries i.e.slippers, bathrobes, toiletries and hairdryer. Our bed was made and the room cleaned daily and was spotless throughout.

The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and the two ladies preparing breakfast and cleaning were very friendly. Maria and her team couldn't do enough for us and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kalya Suites to my family and friends.

From the moment we got picked up from the airport after a long flight and saw Maria's smiling face we knew we made the right choice! Greek hospitality and service at its best...large bathroom and shower pressure,perfect pool and jacuzzi,great wifi,amazing breakfasts and fantastic staff! Quiet location

The hotel is only 2 mins from the end of the beach and most of the restaurants ran parallel to the beach, they were very quiet so we were pestered every time we walked along, so we tended to walk along the back road into kamari, the plus side if you did frequent a restaurant more than once, you became a very important guest and they made a great fuss, the shops were typical souvenir shops, some did sell clothes & shoes, a number of our friends bought jumpers it was cold on windy nights. The beach is very stoney, so you'd need beach shoes, plenty in the shops, I noticed people went up the volcano in beach shoes as well, no need to bring any healed shoes, just comfortable flatties. I would be wary booking a sunset trip, we only have two sun sets all week, and it is very busy in Oya, all the restaurant were fully booked.

Nice Hotel 2 mins from the beach/resturants

We were dropped off from the airport at the end of the street, the Hotel is a short walk on the right. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the wooden gate and shown straight to ours rooms. All the rooms have a balcony over looking the pool. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, a small buffet of bacon/sausage/eggs bread/cereal/hams and cake which my boys loved, plenty of tea/coffee and fruit juices, every day they added something a little different. Elaine & Maria were always on hand, nothing was a problem, they gave us great advise on trips/transport etc. The rooms had all you would need, hair dryer, toiletries, towels for the beach/pool as well, small fridge, hob ring. The local shops had fresh bread etc so making a lunch to take with us was not a problem. The local bus comes in at the far end of kamari then runs right through the center of Kamari pararrel with the beach walk way there is about four stops, the nearest bus stop to our end was about a 10 min stroll away, it runs to and from Fira about every 30 mins, warning it is very busy (end of May), we walked to the other end of town a couple of times to make sure we got on,( in high season I'd guess you'd have to do??) Please note sometimes the driver wanted us off at the far end of town, so people could get on to go back to Fira, so be aware you will have to stroll the 15 mins back to the hotel. You will need a jacket after 9pm especially in Fira very windy on the west coast.

Staff were so lovely

We stayed here for a wedding for a week in May. The location was great, a few steps from the beach, tavernas and shops. There were about a dozen rooms overlooking an attractive pool and bar area. The rooms were very comfortable, and included some luxuries, such as complimentary towelling bath robes. However, the best part of the stay was the staff who really went the extra mile to ensure our stay went smoothly. Thanks to all of the staff at the Kalya Suites.

We were met with smiles and beverages. Maria and Ellen and Spiros and the two ladies who serve breakfast are absolutely amazing. Kalya is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The location is wonderful, a two minute walk to the Sea but back enough to be so quiet. The service is beyond anything else and everything is done to make the guests feel at home. I was so impressed.

What a fantastic place & host

We were greeted on arrival by Maria and taken to our suite. The accommodation was excellent and spotlessly clean. Clean towels and linen was provided throughout our stay. Swimming pool was immaculately clean everything was 100%.

All the staff was friendly and nothing was too much trouble and we cannot recommend Kalya Suites enough for a relaxing and chilled out holiday.

Maria added a personal touch to our stay making us and all the guests feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was Buffet and more than adequate. The Kalya Suites are only 2 minutes’ walk to the beach and restaurants. There is no better location with so much choice of food and restaurants in this picturesque place. The locals are all friendly and very laid back

We had a great stay at Kalya Suites. The hotel is beautiful, the pool area is lovely, the room was very spacious and comfortable. Maria the owner is very friendly and really goes out of her way to please her customers - the service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is amazing filled with organic produce, fresh eggs and local delicacies. I cannot say enough about this hotel. We loved it! The beach is very close (30 meters or less than 1/2 a block) and there are many restaurants nearby. Maria can arrange for tours and has many excellent local recommendations.

Home away from home

We were very lucky to find this little gem smack in the middle of Kamari Beach. They only have 12 suites so one can expect a nice personal service.

Surrounded by nice taverns and bars everywhere. Two small supermarkets at your door step. One minute walk to Kamari Beach. A nearby free public car park. 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Could not think of a better location.

The private pool and surrounding area and poolside bar are really nice and clean. The room was well equipped and offered a spacious private balcony with nice view of the beach.

Maria, the owner, is an absolute star and a great host, who spared no effort whatsoever to make all her guests feel well and truly at home.

The breakfast offered a good variety and was really delicious, with plenty of home made food & jams cooked by Maria herself. We also had the chance to sample some organic veggies picked from Maria's little garden.

Highly recommended. I would not stay anywhere else in Santorini. Two thumbs up!!

Spacious, relaxing getaway

Excellent personal service from Maria. Her homemade breakfasts are superb. Loved the veggie or meat omelettes and fabulous fresh fruit salads. Very spacious room. We had lovely private terrace on garden. House oats, slippers and many great toiletries are provided. Met lots of friendly international guests and learned of good trips. The outstanding restaurants are 2 minutes away on the beach. Alexander restaurant has great food and live Greek music. Highly recommend.

Greatest hotel one block from the beach

This is a wonderful small family owned hotel with a lot of personal touches by the owner, Maria. These units include stove, coffee maker, refrigerator, safe, air conditioner, good sized closet and dressing table, anything you can think of that you need for your stay. Also the hotel is perfectly located on the outskirts of Kamari, a little bit away from the city center crowds, but a quick five minute walk to the bus stop where buses take you to any part of the island. The breakfast which was included was great, especially the Greek yogurt and Maria's Greek scrambled eggs, yummy. Usually Maria came to sit and talk with people at breakfast and that made every day's breakfast like a social gethering. The guests from various countries chat and exchanged ideas about traveling in Santorini as well as other parts of the world. After days of stay, we made friends. Maria was very friendly and helpful. We actually felt as if we were staying with our Greek family instead of a hotel. Anything we needed Maria was there to help us. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to visit the beautiful island of Santorini.

Le service était au top, le petit déjeuner très bon.

Comincio con il dire che l'albergo ha un ottima posizione per chi si reca a Santorini.si trova in una zona piena di localini; il bello di questo hotel , suites o come lo si vuole chiamare finisce qui.
Al mattino dovevamo farci la doccia con l' acqua fredda perché quella calda abbiamo poi scoperto arrivava intorno alle 10, molto probabilmente perché tutto il sistema era gestito da pannelli solari che solo riscaldandosi mandavano acqua calda.
La pulizia era pessima, quando siamo arrivati il wc era sporco così come le lenzuola, l 'abbiamo fatto presente al tizio che gestiva la piscinetta situata nella struttura che si è quasi meravigliato di quanto detto tant è che ha voluto addirittura vederle prima di cambiarle!!! Può capitare..anche se non dovrebbe ma quasi non credere a ciò che dice un ospite non mi sembra professionale.
Letto scomodissimo..armadi non proprio profumatissimi, tanto che abbiamo dovuto tenere i vestiti in valigia per 1 settimana!! ditate su tutte le ante.
Parliamo della sala esterna per le colazioni..il pavimento perennemente sporco di residui di cibo cosi come le varie stoviglie che contenevano gli alimenti.
Io non lo consiglieri
