Lovely hotel, would certainly stay again. The only reservation was the buffet breakfast, it was very simple but I think that’s just because we’ve got used to UK buffet style which includes everything, same with all inclusive hotels. Talking to friends who were in other4 and 5 star hotels in the same area, their breakfast was the same as ours. If you need a breakfast top up, there is a lovely bakery shop on the beach front. Other than though, which is tiny element, would def recommend, great location to the beach, shops and bus stop to Fira.

The property not only its well located in the middle of the Kamira. In addition, it's closed to the beach with all sort of restaurants and shops walkable.

A lovely small hotel in a convenient area for shops, restaurants and sea front. We had 2 deluxe rooms which were nice.The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I really appreciated that they got in gluten free bread for me. The pool was quite large and very clean, with toilets and bar.

We loved the large pool area. We could walk to great restaurants and the beach. The bus stop was also very close. The front desk staff ladies are amazing. They were so helpful and sweet! The cleaning ladies were also wonderful and did a great job keeping everything clean. We were close to everything, but yet the hotel felt calm and quiet.

This was our second time staying at the hotel and the staff were incredible. We travelled with our 9 month old child and they made every effort to accommodate us. They upgraded our room, which made our lives easier, and organised our transfers and ensure a baby cot was in our room.

I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Santorini. The location is perfect, next to the bus station, 3 minutes walk to the beach and many dinner options right around the hotel.
With the bus you have easy and cheap access to Fira, Oia etc. the airport is also only 10min away by car.
The best of the hotel is by far the staff. The ladies at the reception Mina and I unfortunately forgot the other girls name, are very helpful and friendly at all times. Mina even prepared a little birthday surprise for my friend.
Also the staff preparing the breakfast are wonderful

Siamo stati solo un giorno di passaggio da Naxos. La struttura è molto carina così come anche la stanza, non grande, ma ben arredata e pulita, bagno ok. Colazione sicuramente da migliorare nella scelta dolce e magari aggiungere un ombrellone sul patio per avere tutti un pochino d'ombra. Sweet hotel, great pool, GREAT staff

This place is a sweet little hotel with incredible, friendly staff, just 2 mins walk from the beach. It also has its own pool area and bool bar and a free breakfast. The room was also huge compared to other parts of Santorini. If you're in town to enjoy the beach and the sunshine and not to hang out in a luxurious room, this is the place for you. Staff were truly amazing. They will make your stay here extra special.

Unfortunately my friend and I was very disappointed. When we arrived the hotel looked nothing like what we had seen online.
The photos online are not a true representation of how it looks.
The staff were very helpful and tried their very best to accommodate us.
However, I wouldn't go back there.

Front desk staff (whom we didn't get the name of) was very polite and friendly. Hotel has a nice swimming pool area but it was too cold to swim when we were there in October.

We love the location! It's a short walk to the beautiful kamari beach and the main bus station.

The renovation seems a bit old, but it is clean, and things are in good condition. This makes for a basic room at a reasonable price.

There's no lift at the hotel and we have to take the stairs.
Breakfast was included for our stay and food was alright.

We are overall happy with our stay.

The check in was easy. Friendly helpful staff. The room was clean. The pool area was clean and had plenty of lounges and umbrellas. There are restaurants and shopping everywhere. Next door, across the road, up and down the street. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away. Despite all this, the room was very quiet. The bus stops are practically at the door step. Breakfast was good with outdoor eating areas. I would definitely stay here again.

All was good but didnt like they ask to make a copy of my credit card and passport. Passports are government issued ID intended to cross borders, not to stay at hotels. With ID theft, credit carda should not be allowed to be kept on anyones database ever.

My stay here was great. The rooms were clean and nice, the pool area very lovely, comfy bed. The hotel decor is nice and the exterior is really pretty.

I did actually book a different room to the one I was given. I had booked a superior room, and I believe I was given a standard room along those lines. This didn’t bother me as it was just me, and it was last minute accommodation and the staff seemed to have trouble fitting me in. Would of been nice to have communicated instead of pretending.
But either way, was a nice stay

This hotel is just perfect for those who love great service, delicious food and great experiences! Me and my partner were so blessed to choose this place, and we would definitely recommended Acqua Vatos to our friends and family. Breakfasts are extremely yummy - I will never forget cheese and cream pies, banana bread, omelettes with corn & carrot and with dill & peppermint. Coffee from the machine has real milk (not powder milk) which makes a big difference. Lovely Miltos and Veselin at reception will help you out with any requests and organise any tours and transfers. My memories of Santorini will remain extremely warm and positive thanks to the experience at Acqua Vatos.

Close to shops, beach and local buses. Get local bus to see sunset at Oia via Fira. Has nice pool and looks good. Breakfast was lovely and well set out, with quality choices. Close to airport. Stayed at Acqua Vatoa on my own for three nights to attend a friends wedding on the island and was very well looked after here by Costos and Rania. Rooms are modern, clean and cool. Breakfast looks fab but as a ceoliac I could only eat the eggs! Beach and shops just around the corner so ideally located. Very happy with my stay!

Just got back from a week at this lovely hotel. Very relaxed atmosphere here, staff all very cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spotlessly clean an have all you need including a great little hairdryer. Air-con not too noisy.Breakfast good , lots of choice and exactly what you would expect from a Greek Hotel..... great to have coffee and tea on tap all day long too and a good size pool with comfortable sun beds.Five minute walk to beach and although it is in centre of resort with some great shops ,bars and restaurants,it is not noisy at all. Lovely resort, great place to stay

Stayed for 5 days to attend a wedding, could not have picked a better location suited to us, right by the beach, with its endless bars and fantastic food, the pool and hotel were immaculate with the friendliest nicest staff I have ever encounted, really couldn’t do enough for you and so knowledgeable about their island. We had the junior suite with balcony, great room-lovely enduite with powerful shower. The breakfast was great with enough choice to fill you up for a beach day or sightseeing, freshly cooked an prepared, early season so always a place to sit. Iron an iron board available, took own travel kettle, but had nice coffee machine at breakfast with English teabags. Pool bar service and cocktails lovely with reasonable prices. Irish bar an round the corner with really nice restuarents, local bus service every hour to take you to different parts off the island, we hired quad bikes for 30-40 euros a day an travelled to oia an thira an perissa beach, beutiful island with people to match, will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel looked very different to the pictures online. Our room was really basic and not the modern decor shown through the website. Small room with air con not working properly and no safe in the room. Breakfast was limited and the pool area again not as shown online. Staff are reaLou friendly and extremely helpful so it wasn't all bad but would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel itself wasn't terrible. It is just the showers overflow. i don't know if it was just ours but there is no door on the showers? the aircon would make loud bangs throughout the night and wasn't very cooling. Overall wasn't the best stay.

Lovely Hotel, perfect the kind of stay we wanted

Very nice quiet hotel very near to the bench front. Hotel staff were welcoming although we didn't require their services too often. Pool was a nice size and wasn't too busy considering we went in August. Pool bar was a bit small though but catered for the amount of guests I suppose. Breakfast was nice and has a reasonable selection. Room cleanliness was great but bedrooms a tad small but perfect for couples. Overall a great stay and would recommend this hotel for couple going to Santorini.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, From the manager to the assistant to the room service. Unfortunately the rooms left a little bit to be desired, the beds and pillows were hard, we had to ask for a top sheet, the bathrooms could've been a little cleaner and brighter. I have to say The pool was beautiful the exterior was charming and the area was filled with quaint little shops and some very good restaurants with staff eager to serve. The Agean sea is something to see. Overall I didn't let the few inconveniences stop me from having a wonderful time

Away from the madness

My wife and I loved this hotel. It was on the south side of the island in a town called Kamari. This is away from the madness in Fira and Oia but still has a wonderful Santorini feel to it. This town is also a lot cheaper than the other two towns and it's very easy to rent a vehicle across the street and drive around the island. Our room was nice and cozy with a very comfortable bed. The safe was extremely friendly and we ended up building a bond with them. The entire hotel and location was a 10! The breakfast each morning was a 7 due to its variety. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent position for beach, bars and tavernas. Very close to the road so some rooms could be bothered by traffic noise. Very friendly staff. Some beds and rooms are extremely small. My husband is a very big man and having a room with a small bed pushed against a wall would have been unbearable for us.

Fantastic hotel and amazing staff

My wife and I got married last year in Santorini and decided to go back this year for our 1 year anniversary. We wanted to see a different part of the island this year and felt that Kamari would be a good location in which to base ourselves.

Aqua Vatos was modern, fresh and clean whilst at a very competitive price. Breakfast was included and I was surprised to see that new options were available for breakfast every morning with Marianna (I hope that's how it's spelt) making a new home made offering each morning. Yum!!!

Finally the Manager Alex made the stay special. He was very friendly, greeting you every morning with a big smile and taking the time to ensure you are having a good stay. He was always happy to offer some insight into the best places to visit and offered advice on how to get around the island. The rest of the staff were also fantastic and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Hotel in a very good location.

Great Hotel in the centre of Kamari.
Everything about this hotel makes your stay in Santorini an excellent experience.
Staff could not be more helpful from the manager, receptionists and also the kitchen staff.
Rooms clean and everything you want.
Great pool area with plenty of sun loungers.
Hotel close enough to plenty of quality restaurants and bars.
Overall a throughly enjoyable holiday.

Disappointing

Disappointed.
The hotel does not have early check in
The room was for two people but the bed was more or less for one and the room was so tiny that you could barely fit your things in.
It was my birthday and we requested something special nothing like this happened on the contrary.
Internet was poor

Santorini Gem

My husband and I found the Acqua Vatos Hotel in Kmaari fantastic for our trip to Santorini. The hotel facilities are good, the room spotlessly clean, the staff not only friendly but very helpful. Reception is 24hour so you get to meet various workers and all of them were excellent.Breakfast is more than adequate with the usual fayre alongside traditional Greek dishes....especially different cakes each day!! never had cake for breakfast before!! Free hot drinks are available throughout the day and night!! The hotel is situated just one block from the beachfront and it only takes two minutes to walk there. When we return to Kamari, we will definitely stay here again.

Staff are very welcoming. Rooms are fresh, clean, stylish and pretty comfortable. Maybe a little small. Great central location in kamari,yet still quiet. Rooms with a view they are not, but you don't go to santorini to sit in your room. Altogether very good.

We had an amazing stay at Acqua Vatos! Christina was at the front desk when we arrived and she was absolutely amazing and a sweetheart. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. There was a vast selection at breakfast. The pool was nice and it was close to the beach. My husband and I would definitely be staying here again :)

Lovely hotel, great location, fab receptionist!

A great hotel in a perfect location for beach and restaurants. Cristina, the receptionist was extremely helpful and always smiley and a pleasure to speak to! The hotel is in great condition and provided us with a great stay. The only suggestions would be to improve the breakfast foods as this could be better- more fruit, don't water down the orange juice etc. But we would definitely return!

Great hotel - super service

I stayed here for one night after flying into Santorini quite late. Very nice modern hotel with exceptionally helpful staff. Nice breakfast and pool. It's a 2 min walk to the beach. Very reasonably priced.
But I wouldn't choose this town as a holiday destination when there is so much more to offer on the other side of the island. It's pleasant and nice.. Oia is unique and special
