Stayed only for one night for the flight connection. Pity. It seems to be very nice and warm place. Everything was great, the room, the cleaness, the service ( we have ordered transfers , check in out of reception hours due yo ferry delay... Everything went smooth). Kamari Home

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Martha, the owner. She was so pleased to see us returning to our ‘Kamari home’. All of her team are an absolute credit to her – there is no one person that I could single out as going the extra mile. All of her girls worked wonderfully hard to give us the best possible Santorini experience. The rooms are fabulous. Really comfy beds. Perfect bathroom with a relaxing shower. The breakfast is amazing – so many freshly baked bread and cakes each day. A different hot dish each day. Always a massive choice – including a delicious variety of home-made jams. All of the public areas are spotlessly clean – again the girls work hard to maintain these high standards. We were sorry to leave and the team were sad to see us go. We promised to return 2026 and cannot wait!!!

Kamari in Hotel Santellini

Martha and Olga recommended places to eat. Explain what excursions wee available. They both made us feel like we were a part of their family. Martha sat with us when we asked about how the hotel got started! It was a beautiful story to hear. She shared some personal photos with us and told us about her family! Big corporations will not do that! The breakfast was nice with her homemade jams that she makes for her guest. She is there to greet you in the morning and evening! The pool was so relaxing! I recommend this place!

I really enjoyed my stay at Santellini Hotel! The room was very clean and inviting which was exactly what I needed after landing late from a flight delay.

★ The staff
Faye on the reception desk was kind and extremely helpful. She helped book my car to and from the hotel and airport and gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants and sites (avoiding the overcrowded areas).

The cleaning staff were also very friendly and always helpful.

★ The Room
I loved my room (304 - one double bed) as it has a peak at the sea and a beautiful view of the pool and mountains. The right to the left had a loft and the room to the left of that (301) was able to sleep 3.

I would request room 304 again but put a towel over the sharp corner of the shower as I stubbed my toe on it more times than I could count.

★ Breakfast
The breakfast was what you would expect from a European style continental breakfast but was made even better with homemade spinach pie and jams. The Greek yogurt of course being the biggest hit.

★ Location

Very close to the beach!

Kamari has a lovely strip of restaurants (Faye recommended the Alismari which was a winner), shops - clothing, art, cannabis, pottery, and more, night life and markets for fresh fruit and veg.

There are lounge chairs available via the restaurants they sit in front of. Speak with staff about how to reserve one.

Thira was amazing and we ate at Tholoto which I highly recommend.

Imerovigli was beautiful. Some of my friends booked the flying dress

I cannot speak highly enough of this accommodation. We were all impressed with the extra mile all the staff here go to in order to make your stay a great one. A sweet boutique hotel with top end service, cleanliness second to none and a nice friendly vibe. Steps from the beach too. I would thoroughly recommend.

Nice hotel but right in centre of noisy street

What the photos don't show is that this hotel is right in the centre of a noisy street of restaurants, shops, bars, that stay open until the early hours. Bedrooms by the street noisy. Poor sleep as a result though had requested a quiet room. Yes, it's near a beach, but it's not in a natural setting. Shops and restaurants all the way to the beach, which is not very nice anyway. Very disappointed. Breakfast very limited for cooked options. Wouldn't return though owner / manager was friendly and it was very clean. Would suggest staying in another area of Santorini, which is beautiful.

The stay at the Santellini hotel was fabulous. The hospitaility of the staff was second to none and the service was of an high standard. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very thorough each day meaning it will be at the top of our list when we return to Santorini. The breakfast was sufficient and in line with a small boutique hotel, offering hot / cold buffet style food each day.I would certainly recommend it and overall view was excellent.

Beautiful family run hotel

Stayed for a week in deluxe double room. Hotel is run by a lovely family who are totally committed to you enjoying your stay. Desk staff booked transfers, taxis, restaurants and advised on places to visit during our stay.This hotel is of an amazing standard, certainly better than it's 3 star rating with good pool and sun terrace areas including small bar area for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is of traditional Greek food, not the standard full english. It is all home made food of high quality including breads, jams, fruit, yogurt, honey, etc. Hotel is 2 minute walk from the beach, bars and restaurants but is situated in a very quiet location. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Santorini haven

What a wonderful introduction to the Greek Islands! Marta and her staff arranged for us to be picked up at the airport for a reasonable fee and allowed us to lounge at the pool until our room for 4 was ready. After we spent the afternoon at the Black Beach (lounging on beach beds provided by restaurants and bars where bought lunch and drinks), we took Marta's advice and had a delicious Greek dinner late into the night. Each of our two mornings, we enjoyed a sumptuous buffet breakfast poolside. The resort was clean, and the best part was its location a half-block from the beach and even closer to the bus stop. Only a 15-minute bus ride to Fira, which is worth a visit for shopping, sightseeing and the sunsets! Kamari is a nice home base for a Santorini vacation, and Santellini hotel is a great place to stay there.

Postives: 1- staff (Sara and Martha) excellent and helpful.
2- location: excellent.
3- clean hotel.

Negatives: 1- the room didn't have 3 beds as advertised on Expedia, it had one double, a twin and a pull out.
2- TV didn't have enough English or any kids channels.
3- One AC unit in the two story room on a hot day is not enough to make the room comfortable.

Overall: recommended.

Greeted with a warm welcome to this well located hotel.
Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool, but the cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desired.
All amenities are close by and there are literally dozens of restaurants to choose from which is great because the breakfast at this hotel was the biggest disappointment. Very little choice and the same offering every day. Don't expect anything warm, other than toast, a boiled egg or \"Martha's rice pudding\"

This hotel is in a good location and quiet. We requested a pool view room which we received. The staff were amazing and very helpful and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them.. The hotel is spotless everything gleaming. For breakfast there was plenty of choice with homemade bread and Marthas homemade jams - wonderful.
Sara was always on hand during the day to take our order for lunch.(only a small choice of snacks but were lovely ) and answer any questions we had a real asset to the hotel family.

Nice hotel near beach and in city center

We were greeted upon arrival and quickly given our room key. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. This hotel has the classic Santorini feel and is in a great location. There are many restaurants and shops right around it as well as a beach only a short walk down the street. We would stay here again.

Great hotel great location

I stayed at Santellini for my honeymoon. The hotel stay was extremely comfortable and owners were very friendly. We were greeted by one of the owners (Martha) everyday in the breakfast area with a beaming smile and she would always go that extra mile.

The hotel is located on the coast of Kamari with the beach a stones throw away. We booked a full day tour of Santorini island including a volcano and sunset in Oia with a local company called Kamari Tours. The tour was definitely unforgettable.

Overall a great hotel with a homely feel because of the team that work there and own the hotel.

This is a great place to stay!

I thought this was one of the best places I have stayed on my trip. The rooms are unique, clean and modern. The staff was so lovely. Everyday at breakfast they would come and chat with me about my day and how things were going. They made reservations and recommendations for us.

The location is fantastic. Easy to get on a bus to go to Fira and to Oia. I loved the beach and the shopping and restaurants in the area.

I highly recommend this hotel.
