An incredible stay. The Boathouse was a beautiful getaway for my fiancé and me during our time in Santorini. We stayed on the property alongside other family members, and all of us were absolutely blown away with our experience.

The hospitality was truly unmatched. Tina was incredibly helpful, organized, and attentive throughout our stay, while Mimoza prepared some of the most amazing breakfasts we’ve ever had. We’ve been trying (and failing!) to recreate them at home ever since. The entire team was wonderful, and although I don’t know everyone’s names, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our trip so memorable.

The suites were spotless and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. The pool was always clean and was the perfect size, and the location couldn’t have been better. Ocean front with lovely restaurants and shops l surrounding.

Every aspect of the property reflected the care and pride of the people who run it. It was one of those rare places that feels special from the moment you arrive.

If we are fortunate enough to return to Santorini, we will absolutely be staying at the Boathouse again.

Thank you, ladies, for helping create memories we will cherish forever. 10/10 recommend.

The town is under the landing pattern for the airport so we saw and heard planes landing. But the town is very alive and walkable and so different then Oia. The hotel's front desk was wonderful. We had to catch a 4 am taxi for our flight and they arranged it and gave us fruit and muffins for breakfast to take with us. We received a free bottle of wine which we drank on our balcony. The pool is a wonderful oasis after the difficulties getting in and out of the water at the beach (shallow slippery for a long stretch). The bar at the pool made it easy to have a drink at the pool.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the garden suite which was two co-joined rooms and a gorgeous shady courtyard to relax in. It’s was perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pool and breakfast is lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

A lovely hotel with amazing staff, who couldn’t do enough to help you. Fresh breakfast each morning you can see being cooked from scratch onsite vs pre prepared. Lovely little bar makes the most amazing mojitos. Rooms large and clean. Recommend.

A perfect retreat looking out on the Aegn

We have absolutely loved staying at The Boathouse!

The staff are just so incredibly lovely, the location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is just beautiful.

This is our first time staying here, but it's clear that many of the guests are returning visitors - which in itself is a clear indication of how much people love this place - and like them, we too will most definitely be returning in the future.

It's very much a place for family and friends, and it seems that all guests are treated as such.

And, if that's not enough, they also have the charmingly cheeky, Zeus!

Honestly, we've loved every minute and can't wait to return in the future.

The is on the south eastern side of the Santorini island; a street full of hotels and restaurants overlooking the beach. Free breakfast, good staff and since we had a rental car we could move around the island freely. There is no parking on the facility, rather in the entire street; you will have to park in the side streets and walk which is not too bad. Best location to watch sunrise.

First trip to Greece, first solo holiday in a foreign country. This was absolutely the best choice. It’s family owned and operated, so cozy and relaxing.
The staff is kind and attentive without being intrusive. By the 3rd morning they had noted that I liked lemon water and someone always had limes or lemons available in the morning. I would def recommend. The room was perfect. Clean, simple with a patio overlooking the pool area. It’s so cozy, yet the natural beauty of the place- the overhanging Flowers, the pretty little nooks… so serene. The hosts are happy to help with questions, laundry service was handy.
It was absolutely lovely and hard to leave.

Best Kamari Hotel

This was a fantastic place to stay for our Santorini trip. The location couldn't have been better and being able to hear the ocean at night from our room was a nice bonus. The Boathouse is located in between the two main restaurant “districts” so it is close to everything yet still isolated enough to be peaceful. Within 5 minutes, you can walk to shopping or pubs. The bus station is an easy 7 minute walk and for €2 per person you can get almost anywhere on the island. The breakfast was fantastic at this hotel as was the tiki bar. Great people and great conversations. The owners are so kind and generous and gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what sights to see. I hope I get to return to Santorini and, if I do, I’m staying at The Boathouse.

The rooms are lovely, comfortable, loved the bathrooms.
The rooms at the back are dark, no tvs not that it bothered me just never had that before. The airplane noise is excessive and intruding but that is the only negative.

Stunning Santorini Stay at the Boathouse

I cannot recommend this hotel enough!! The room was huge and spacious with 2 fiubke doors opening onto a big balcony with fabulous views of the pool and beach, it was amazing! Location was perfect and we were steps away from numerous fab restaurants. Breakfast was delicious each morning, made to order and the staff were very friendly and always helpful with any requests. Absolutely stunning, will definitely be recommending to friends! 😊

Lovely Hotel, the Breakfast was amazing they could not do enough for you. It is also in a great location right on the front strip but at the end so you do not get all the noise.
So glad we picked this place and would go back.

A perfect time

Amazing stay for such great value. The staff were brilliant and the location for us was perfect. Everyone gave us such useful information of what to see whilst we were there and breakfast on the beach every day was the cherry on top of the cake! The rooms were really clean and the shower was amazing.

A great summer holiday

The hotel was nicely situated at the seafront, with several rooms having a sea view. The owners Diane and Spyros were amazing hosts, always ready with advice for days out and no special request at breakfast was too much to be fulfilled. We visited during the Covid 19 pandemic and were completely at ease with all steps taken to ensure guest safety. We recommend the Boathouse Hotel for anyone wishing to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.

Nothing was unique at all! The beds where so squeaky I didn't sleep for 4 nights and checked out early! Diane IS NOT a good host when I told her anout the beds she walked away!
Wished I had never booked.

No frills place but the room was comfortable. The breakfast could have been better. The bacon and eggs are very under cooked. The staff was very helpful but the owners had left on vacation right after we arrived. They left their daughter in charge but the problem was she didn’t arrive till 10 o’clock in the morning and left early in the evening so there was no one to really help you if you wanted to rent a car or arrange a trip from the hotel. The location was wonderful and the outdoor seating area and landscape beautiful.

This place is in a great location. You have everything near the hotel. I would absolutely consider coming back and the staff is great. I did see some previous guest complaining about the airplanes but that was actually epic. Epic stay

Come to stay as a guest, leave feeling like family. Beautiful property that's postcard worthy. Only hotel with an open beach space so beautiful views of the ocean and the island of anafi. The bar attracts a crowd and on top of quality alcohol you're served with great stories and local knowledge.

Location was amazing... pool area beautiful...owners Diane and her husband were awesome, they even gave us great tips and references for our next Island Milos which proved to be amazing :)

Decor in rooms a little outdated but does the job for the great price you pay :)


Shower was amazing, the bathroom was a great size too

Lovely location right on Kamari beach. The staff was lovely. The owner gave us rides as well and many great tips. One thing is that keep your expectations low with this stay, the room is not exactly a hotel type room but it’s definitely doable as a living space for the time being. My only gripe was the shower pressure. It was less than a garden hose on shower setting. Another was the sink bowl. Those designs are great and cute but not practical when it splashes everywhere when you wash your hands only to drop onto the floor. Other than that, great stay. Great location. Had a good time

The room I was in was exactly what I wanted. It wasn't very special but it had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The outside of the hotel is amazing. A beautiful pool, comfy chairs and a view of the ocean!! I took a bus the entire time I was in Santorini and as pleased with how efficient they are(they are packed though). Diane was great and VERY helpful. The only thing that shocked me was that there are often airplanes landing at the nearby airport and they are very loud. I got used to it pretty fast but I could see a light sleeper being upset. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing little hotel in a terrific location. Owners on site and incredibly helpful with accommodations and recommendations for local visits. Even went so far as to set up a rental car for me! Staff was friendly and we felt like we were home. Highly recommended!

This property sits right across from the beach. The room had a beautiful view. It’s family owned and operated. They are wonderful at directing to places only locals eat at. The little bar is hip hop delight in the early evening. They do charge 20 Euros for drop off at the port and you have to catch a transfer to get there. The nightlife surrounding The Boathouse is lively. Overall a nice place to stay The drawback is the shower doesn’t drain well and the room smells of waste during the heat of the day.

My wife and myself have stayed in The Boathouse hotel for 10 days at the end of May. The location is perfect. Just by the Kamari beach, many restaurants and shops are right on the doorstep and despite that it is was not overcrowded and quiet during nights. The people from local businesses are polite and friendly. As well as the hosts and the staff from the hotel. Very helpfull and professional. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and buffet breakfasts are a bonus. Nothing negative I can think about.
Also, if you are planing stay in Kamari you must visit Amelia’s Tavern (just by the local busses bus stop). The service and food was amazing at great prices and always full plates. My wife is generally fussy but she wanted to dine there all the time and she also loved the Boathouse Hotel.

We had a second level oceanview room. Beautiful view. Nice breakfast in the morning. Kamari beach has lots of restaurants and a short bus to fira for 1.80euro.

Short beach stay

We had a enjoyable stay here....fun area with lots of restaurants on the beach.
Hotel is run by a very nice family.
Breakfast was delicious and it was a good way to start the day eating by the pool.
Rooms are basic and patios are large.
We had a second floor patio with a view.

Now, my rant about smoking in Greece.
It’s crazy....people smoke everywhere.....restaurants,patios,
Beaches....basically anywhere.
We had smokers below us and smokers beside us ....
These people smoked all day on their patios every ten minutes.

(This is not the fault of the hotel owners)
If you smoke....then this is surely heaven for you!

Come on Greece! Get with it!
Time to ban smoking in restaurants....at
least it’s a start!

Great little hotel next to the beach and at this time of year a peaceful haven, and we were lucky with the weather which was beautifully warm. It is definitely worth getting the rooms overlooking the sea if you can - wake up to a lovely sunrise. There is a regular bus to Fira, and I can recommend the walk up to ancient Thira nearby - take the track rather than the road to see the old church perched on the mountainside. Ancient Thira is rather more impressive than the older ruins at Akrotiri. From Fira there is a wonderful 11km walk (about 3 hours) to Oia all the way along the edge of the caldera.

Nice week by the beach.

Nice family run business. Spiros and his wife are very friendly, and their employees as well. For a small fee, they picked and dropped us at the airport, which made it easy for us.
Excellent breakfast served on the side of the pool, and unlike other places, you do not have to run early to get your share, because there is plenty of food. Overall, we highly recommend.

Great place to stay if you are looking to stay in Kaimani beach area. There is nothing between the property and the beach except for the beach walk and a few trees. The property has a real nice pool too. They have a bar open until 1 at the pool. The breakfast is homemade and plentiful with hot and cold items. I had a water facing 2nd floor room and it was nice and had AC! The owners are there for anything you need and are super helpful. For a fee will pick and drop off at the airport which is about 5 minutes away. Loved my stay and felt that I came as a stranger and left as a friend.

This hotel made our stay in Santorini so much fun. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was a great location and very easy to access the bus routes to go to other cities. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed for three days at the Boathouse. Overall it is a good hotel. The location was the best thing.
I would change some things: the bath towels were really rough, the pillows to high and hard and the mattress too soft. I requested lower pillow but they didn’t provide. i would stay there again.

Owner of hotel met us at the airport, took our luggage and we followed him to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were staying in Oia but were flying in late and wanted somewhere close to the airport to stay for the evening. Room was basic and great value for the price. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Had a view of the ocean. Would recommend!!

Fantastic place on Kamari beach

The Boat House was great. From the moment we got there staff was ready and waiting and was very helpful with everything we needed. The breakfasts were very good with lots of selection. The location was great across the road from the beach and easy walking distance for town. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful, Relaxing, and Convenient

We loved our stay at The Boathouse! The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast was fantastic, and we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Kamari beach is basically the \"front yard \" of the hotel. You can sit and enjoy morning coffee while watching the beautiful Mediterranean. Overall, it felt very authentic with the right touch of comfort.

There are several good restaurants, cafes (coffee and crepes!), and shops within a few minutes of relaxed walking. There are also a few convenience stores nearby for bottles of water, snacks, or any personal items you might have forgotten to bring.

The bus stop that connects to the island central station is a 6-minute walk. We explored most of the island from this location. Our theory is that we would rather stay by the beach and take a bus (or car, or ATV) elsewhere for more shopping, etc. On our returns to Kamari after venturing out, we would see wet people getting on the bus for a chilly trip back to wherever they were staying on the island. By staying at The Boathouse you do not need to take a wet bus ride after swimming in the Mediterranean!

Great place to stay.

Room was nice and clean. Kamari beach is away from the main tourist volume so it's a bit quieter. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. I'd recommend this hotel to a friend.

Relaxing place to stay

The location was amazing right on the beaches not many tourists, perfect to get away for a relaxing few days with out the hassle of loads of tourists. The hotel is family run and they where all great and helpful in every way possible. Such a nice family. The breakfast buffet was great, they have some thing there for everybody, all in all it was a great relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.

Family run hotel with perfect views

The Boat House is a family run hotel located on beautiful Kamari beach. The family and staff were overly kind, extremely helpful and greatly loved by their repeat guests (which were all over the hotel). The hotel is not fancy but has a perfect location and a great nightlife outside at the pool every night. I really enjoyed my stay with them.

Nice hotel in front the beach

Nice hotel, clean rooms, well connected to the airport and close to the local bus stop. Plenty of restaurant options. Close to supermarkets.
A plus their barman, Annis: nice and helpful at all time. One point down due to the girl working there. Perfect English but she can come across too direct and not great knowledge of proper customer service. Even so I'll go back there if I would have the chance.

The location was perfect right on the beach no noise, clean room, good staff.. the only thing I didn't like is that the room didn't have TV we like to watch tv before bed... and the internet was very slow in the room. I will recommend this hotel to friends that don't like tv in the rooms...
