Excellent hotel in Bali, Crete. Its on the best beach in Bali, Crete. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice, great a la carte food , frendlly and helpful staff.

The bar area of the hotel is really nice and the pool area and it’s on a beautiful beach. The breakfast was excellent and the food we ordered at lunch. The rooms were really nice and big. The Bathroom could be slightly more modern compared to the rooms but it was clean and fine. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Amazing hotel! Better than the pictures, clean, cosy, everything you need! Room was incredible, perfect location on the beach. Beach bar food was fantastic!Shops next to the hotel with anything you need. Some walking needed to go to restaurants but not bad. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!!

We reserved because we knew that they have late check-inn. Our plane was retarde and we arrived around 2 o’clock in the night. We knocked at the door and we call 3 times and we had no answer. So we had to find with difficulty an another place to sleep.SO IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERRIENCE AND WE WON’T PAY FOR THAT NIGHT IN THAT HOTEL.

Sadly not as good as previous visit

We had previously stayed at Nostos in 2019, and decided to book their Junior Suite for this trip to make it special. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as special as we had hoped. The check-in process wasn't what I would have expected for having booked their best room - we were given the keys and waved in the vague direction. We got to the room, which was spacious with a lovely big terrace and hot tub, but unfortunately there were no instructions on how to work it, offers to help with this, and it was pretty grubby. We had to clean it first before working out how to use it. The bathroom was showing signs of not having been cleaned very thoroughly - grime in the shampoo/shower gel stand, and everything looked a little worn. Unbeknownst to me, my partner intended on proposing the second day we arrived, and asked at reception if there was anything they were able to do to assist - flowers or such, and was given a firm 'no'. Again, considering the cost we spent on booking their best room, he was quite upset. We aren't usually extravagant people, so were hoping for a bit of luxury. I'm hoping all these niggles are due to Covid having been tough on the hotel, however I don't think we'll visit again, sadly.

Excellent facilities and style, well kept gardens, nice pools and next to the beach.

The room was nicely furnished, modern and comfortable. A buffet breakfast was offered which you could enjoy on the veranda overlooking the sea. A buffet dinner was also provided with an extra small charge but we did not tried it.

Overall a very nice stay in a very nicely designed hotel.

Excellent stay

We had an excellent stay at Nostos during our family holiday in July. Most helpful and kind personnel I’ve ever seen, perfect location by the beach, clean and comfortable room, nice swimming pool, super tasty food at the restaurant. There are also many restaurants and bars in the area and location is good for visiting the island either with a rental bar or with organised excursions. Highly recommend !

Watch out for unauthorized charges!!

WARNING: Check your credit card statement or be sure to ask for a receipt after purchasing anything from the hotel They charged me $70 instead of $7 for a coffee! I reached out to the hotel to politely enquire about the charge and they denied me of any receipt or information regarding the charge - then stopped responding to my emails. Be careful staying here. Very disappointing experience.

Gorgeous hotel

A beautiful Cretan boutique hotel on the beach.

This small boutique hotel is a gem. So beautifully laid out every corner is a paradise. Bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing decorated to a high standard. Exactly as the photos. The public areas are furnished tastefully and the bar and beach areas are so pretty. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and polite. Artemis who is on the beach made even a coffee seem like a treat.
We had dinner in the barons evening and was pleasantly surprised at the high standard.
I will definitely return to this hotel.

Prachtig hotel, maar Bali is verknoeid

Wij kozen dit hotel maar als tussenstop om rond 10u op de luchthaven van Iraklion te zijn.
We hoopten dat Bali nog wat authentiek zou zijn.  Helaas dus, alles is puur toeristisch. We kwamen aan rond 18:30.Nostos hotel zelf: wij zaten in het deel verder van het strand, helemaal geen last van de beat-muziek aan het strand.  Fijn.  Het hotel is piekfijn verzorgd, patio's met planten enz.  We hadden nog net tijd om even te zwemmen. Het zwembad is wel wat ingesloten; op 19 mei verdwijnt de zon verdwijnt er rond 19u.  Onze kamer (120) was eigenlijk wel wat donker, niet veel verlichting. Binnen zitten met slecht weer zou niet zo leuk zijn. Voor de rest waren de kamer en badkamer perfect, een heel groot bed.  Het ontbijtbuffet was heel erg goed, ruime keuze; mogelijkheid om buiten te ontbijten onder een afdak, met zicht op zee. Tof.Bali zelfHet begon al met de beachbar van Nostos zelf: beat-muziek. Waarom geen Griekse muziek? De strandbar er vlak naast speelde natuurlijk andere beat-muziek, je hoorde beide tegelijk.  Niet superluid (oef).  Dus, de trappen op naar de volgende baai van Bali.  Ook die is compleet veroverd door horeca.  We aten in Taverna Galini: die leek nog wat authentiek, en er speelde wel Griekse muziek.  Goed gegeten ook.Bali zit ook geprangd in een kleine baai tussen bergen, zee en autoweg.  Zeer geschikt als je enkel zwemband, strandbars, restaurants, strand-met-zonneschermen wil, voor ons enkel geschikt voor 1 nacht.

L'hébergement était dans un état nickel.
L'ensemble du personnel était au petit soin pour nous.
L'hôtel se situe à environ 1 heure de l'aéroport d'Héraklion, au bord de la mer, on peut dire que nous avions les pieds dans l'eau :D
Nous avons profité de la demi-pension. Les petits-déjeuners étaient copieux et les dîners également (nous ne pouvions pas vider nos assiettes. Quatre plats nous étaient proposés tous les soirs, et si aucun ne nous convenait, nous pouvions toujours demander autre chose (que nous avons obtenu).
Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

We had a standard room with sea view and if this was standard, I’d like to see other rooms. Everything was in good shape and clean. Good location on sandy beach but still peaceful. Nice breakfast and helpful staff.

L'établissement bénéficie d'un bel emplacement à proximité de la plage et d'une décoration agréable.
Toutefois certains points ont été très décevants : Accueil, propreté de la chambre et de la piscine, buffet petit déjeuner très moyen, manque de calme (bruit de musique du bar / restaurant et des activités autour)
La notation de l'hôtel me semble surévaluée par rapport à sa qualité réelle.

Nous avons passé avec ma femme une super semaine dans ce très charmant hôtel, allez y les yeux fermés. L’hôtel est tout a bord très bien situé sur la baie de Bali, il est propre, calme (ce n’est pas un gros complexe a touriste avec de la musique toute la journée..) et le personnel est très accueillant. Le test Covid se fait sur place, vous y trouverez également un magnifique bar et deux piscines. Je recommande fortement !

Tudo foi maravilhoso. O quarto é excelente. Confortável, limpo e espaçoso. Internet excelente. Piscinas maravilhosas. Café da manhã fantastico e muito saboroso. Atendimento ótimo. Localização perfeita, na praia. Paisagem deslumbrante. Praia maravilhosa para banho, muito linda. Não há algo ruim. O translado foi perfeito com motorista muito bom e agradável.

Empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt

Wir waren als Paar eine Woche im Nostos Hotel und super zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren schön und sauber und die Anlage im gesamten sehr ordentlich. Es gibt zwei Pools und der Strand ist ebenfalls direkt am Hotel, sodass es nicht zu voll wird. Der Service war nett und wir würden definitiv wieder buchen. :)

Die Hotelanlage war sehr schön und sehr modern gestaltet. Man hat sich dort definitiv wohl gefühlt.

Zudem ist der Ort sehr leicht per Bus zu erreichen. Ich würde Reisenden empfehlen sich definitiv ein Auto zu mieten falls man nicht nur an der Hotelanlage sich aufhalten möchte.

Einziger Nachteil ist, dass man am Strand täglich für die Liegen zusätzlich zahlen muss obwohl diese vom Hotel betrieben werden.

Ansonsten alles super und immer wieder gerne!
