This has been my 3rd visit to Santorini Kastelli and it was amazing as ever!
I was welcomed on arrival by the manager who upgraded my room to a lovely room with 3 balconies! The property is stunning and immaculately clean ! It was a joy to be there to experience the hotel!
I had a wonderful spa set of treatments and the staff at all times were friendly and professional!! I would recommend highly and will be back for a 4th visit!

This is the most beautiful hotel I've stayed in. Beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, very polite and helpful staff (from reception to catering to facilities staff), excellent location with around a 3 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants along the way. A bus stop right outside the back of the property for getting to Fira and beyond too which was very easy and most definitely worth the short journey. We loved the hotel breakfast as well which was fully stocked right up until the last moment and delicious.

Couldn't complain about a single thing or recommend this enough. Was our first time in Santorini and if we're ever back I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Kastelli resort

This has been one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Very clean. Very modern. The staff went above and beyond. We stayed in one of the luxury suites and it had everything we needed. 3 minute walk from the beach with supermarkets, restaurants, and cute shops nearby. Hotel is a bit far from Oia/Fira, but the bus stop is literally right outside the hotel. Very convenient. Will definitely be staying here again!!!

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing. From the beginning, the staff was not kind or accommodating. We had originally booked the room for two people but decided last minute to bring our toddler. The room was already spacious enough, with a daybed they mentioned would be prepared for our child. However, they never set it up. When we checked out, they explained that the reason was because the booking was for two adults, which felt unfair and dismissive.

Throughout our stay, the staff’s attitude changed once they saw our toddler, and their lack of flexibility made us feel unwelcome. They did not allow an early check-in or a late check-out, unlike the other five-star hotel we stayed at previously in Imerovigli, where the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even accommodated a four-hour early check-in and late check-out.

This hotel failed to meet basic hospitality standards. The staff was unhelpful and unkind, and they made no effort to make us feel comfortable as a family. Overall, we had an unpleasant experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Impressed

Beautiful , clean rooms. Bed on the harder side may be more tolerable if you only stay a few nights. Four very well taken care of pools. One complaint is the pools were really cold. There is a beach which is about a ten minute walk. The hotel has some arrangement if you want a lounge chair with a nearby restaurant who you need to purchase food or drinks from to reserve a beach chair. The breakfast buffet which is free has a nice variety of foods and you can make mimosas. A bus nearby can take you to surrounding towns which will cost you 2-euros. There are many restaurants, stores within walking distance. I also would like to add a majority of the servers are male which I was very impressed with. Beautiful, clean resort. I hope to return to in the future. One more thing get a room with a pool even if you have to share. Rm-311 or 312

Nice hotel in Kamari, Santorini. Walking distance to beach, cafes, restaurants and bars. X4 swimming pools. Main pool beside restaurant/bar. Pool opens at 9.30am but if you swim at this time you get asked to move as people are eating breakfast. Good buffet breakfast
Good pool access room in separate area with one pool. Good size room, clean with hard bed

Good but not worth 5star.

Even though clean and nice hotel, doesnt look like a 5 star hotel.
Cons.
Premises are old. Like what you would expect from 3 star ones.
Shampoos, soaps etc are poor.
No children play area. You wouldnt stay at hotel allday if you have children.
No sunbed service at beach.
Pros.
Staff are exteremly helpful and nice.
Breakfast is pretty good, has many options.
Pools are fine for adults. Feels like kids are not wellcome.
Clean.
Close to beach.
Ps. When we stay , hotel was not that busy. Things change when it is busy.
Having SPA shoudlnt allow hotels to be 5star.

Fourth time staying at Kastelli Resort. It's our goto hotel in Santorini. Friendly and helpful staff, very relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant serves great food throughout the day and the bar is quiet and relaxing at night. Nothing seems to be too much for the staff to do for you. A choice of 4 pools to choose from with complementary towels to use on the sun beds every day. Rooms very modern as well complete with smart TV and mini bar. We were also left a complementary bottle of water in our room every day. We will definitely be going back for a fifth visit.

The hotel was amazing and so clean and tidy breakfast everyday was served 8-11 and when we arrived on check in we were given a tour of the resort and made to feel so welcome it was like you were at home not just a guest but family. The waiting staff at breakfast got to know their customers and remembered us every morning which is a nice touch. I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future. Our hostess Victoria was nothing but great from start to finish to ensure we had a relaxing and pleasurable stay and we can’t thank her enough too! Free water in the rooms every day would have been nice. And more variety for breakfast time and lunch menu would have been lovely. Eating the same breakfast every morning was very boring. No kids menus was a bit of a pain as we had to pay full prices for 8year old to eat plus it also meant very fussy food for the kids which was expensive and a complete waste.
The reason we did not complain is because the staff were excellent and always ready to help.

The Glorious Kastelli <3

We were greeted by the knowledgeable and charming Mike who literally took care of us the whole 5 days that we were there. He surprised us with an amazing upgrade to a junior suite with our own pool and thoroughly spoke about the resort and Santorini with so much passion. WE THANK HIM SO MUCH for ALL that he did for us, from booking the best restaurants to patiently educating us on the history of Thera. The staff there are friendly, professional and bend over backwards to make sure you feel comfortable at this luxury 5* resort as well as informing us to making the most out of the beautiful island that is Santorini. Eni also made sure that we were always looked after and gave us advice on where to explore. The resort is right next to the beach and restaurants and has parking available if you rent a car. We treated ourselves to a couple love potion massage - which was amazing and the spa was soo relaxing. The pictures of this resort on the internet HONESTLY do not do it justice. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good selection and there are many pools to choose from. Although the resort was fully booked, I never felt that the place was crowded. You must see it live in all it's beautiful glory to really appreciate it. I really did not want to leave - 5 days was not enough. WE WILL BE BACK THOUGH! ;)

Nice resort and located not far from the beach. The property is nice. The breakfast was good. The spa was a bit dated with the purple. Purple seems to be the color of the resort. I think it could be toned down a bit. The chlorine in the spa was very overwhelming and ruined my husbands swim trunks when we went into the spas hot tube.
Overall it was nice.

My friends and I absolutely LOVED our experience here. Not only was it beautiful and close to the beach, but the hotel staff were all excellent! I received a call, prior to getting onto the island, asking if I needed them to set up transport to the hotel. We had a man waiting for us upon our arrival who drove us straight there in a spacious van. Then we were greeted by a wonderful man, Mike, who truly made our experience top par from start to finish. He gave us a tour of the facilities before leading us to our beautiful room where we had chilled wine and fruit waiting for us. It was beautiful, quite, peaceful and all around wonderful. Thank you to Mike who provided us excellent service and made our stay all the better. He even miraculously carried three of our massive suitcases on his back to escort us out, which I’m still extremely impressed about!! All around AWESOME!

Arrived at midnight- was not offered a tour of the facilities... staff was overall friendly.. breakfast got to be boring- every day the same ... location was great. .. rooms sufficiently clean. Would visit again - although it was little overpriced....

Staying in Kamari

Excellent hotel. We stayed five nights. Great location for the beach, shopping, bars and restaurants. Easy to get around the island by rental car or public bus. Ancient Thiera and wineries are nearby. The hotel breakfast was good. We also had a good dinner the first night. There was a small lending library, spa, and gym, multiple plunge pools, and one somewhat larger pool for swimming.
