I fell in love with this beautiful place! The staff is so kind, friendly, fun to talk with. Everyone was sincerely engaged with us. The views from Hermes are spectacular! PROS:
•Good location! It’s a 10-minute walk to town, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, since I didn’t want to rent a car or depend on buses.
•Excellent breakfast included.
•Free shuttle service from the ferry port or airport (and back). This is very convenient, considering the standard taxi rate in Mykonos is €40.
•Due to a ferry strike, we had to change our stay, and Chrysa kindly rebooked our dates at no extra charge and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Mayra at reception was very nice as well with great recommendations!
•Nice sea views (especially from the restaurant and lobby).
CONS:
•The shuttle driver seemed upset and even came across as rude when picking us up, which gave a poor first impression.
•Our room smelled like sewage when we arrived.
•Some furniture feels old and worn. Even the wallpaper behind the bed was poorly applied, making the room look outdated.

We enjoyed a 3 nights stay here for a friends 40th. From the moment we were collected from the airport via the free shuttle to our arrival and throughout our stay, the service and warmth from all staff was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble and were a great help ordering transfers for us. Special shout out to Mira on front desk - she was just the sweetest! This was my second time visiting Mykonos and it won’t be the last - and I would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you Hotel Hermes and I hope to see you soon!

A fabulous stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted by two ladies on reception with a welcoming smile, after checking in, one lady showed us to our room and the vehicle driver delivered our cases. Throughout the week, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, they were all absolutely fantastic, from housekeeping to reception, breakfast staff and bar staff, everyone wanted to help. During our stay we needed a few extra things, all were delivered within minutes of requesting them. There is also a complimentary bottle of water each day in the room, along with a payable Mini Bar Fridge. The breakfast and bar offerings were great, for breakfast you can order whatever you like from the Eggs Breakfast Menu, brought to your table with drinks. The young lady and gentleman at breakfast worked tirelessly to ensure you enjoyed breakfast. Additionally, there is a fabulous self service selection. The Bar/Pool Menu was also great. The fixtures and fitting in the hotel are very pleasing with good quality comfortable places to sit with the best views!

Honestly, you have to be careful when you read these reviews. I searched hotels for days, but kept coming back to this one for some reason. I was a little hesitant because of the complaints of the small room size and the long walk from town.

Great hotel nestled on top of the hill that overlooks the old port and city of Mykonos… which is about 11-15 minutes walk. The location provides you the most wonderful and breathtaking view of the city and ocean. They also provide shuttle services if you decide or prefer not to walk. Overall, a great hotel to stay. My daughter and I had an amazing stay, we stayed 2 nights, all the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, comfortable and clean. You get the sunset from ur balcony. Hotel is 10 mins walk to town, if you are observant like my daughter it can be less. Definitely recommend for ur stay , I will absolutely stay here again. The pick up and drop off was great and was easy to organise - the hotel messages you in advance on Expedia to request landing times. Your drop off at the airport can be easily organised at the reception desk on arrival. Excellent breakfast - both continental and hot breakfast available, several options to choose from so no risk of repeating meals! The pool was lovely but given limited sunbeds you need to get there early! The hotel is located at the top of the hill but not too far from the main town (15 min walk) although its a lot of walking up and down hill and on uneven ground so worth noting if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel. Very large room with ocean view. Spotless clean. Included a fabulous breakfast with cook to order menu. Great pool and bar area. Upon checkin received a map and a lot of information on how to get around the island, restaurants etc. this hotel is on the hillside with expansive views. It is a fairly short walk in town —- however the path is not great unless you are fairly agile. A more pleasant and less stressful option is to take a taxi for 7-10 euros. Staff is exceptional. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

BEST HOTEL in our 5 weeks of travels! From the moment we walked in, the service was 5 stars. The staff was excellent, room bright with very hot water and SUPER COMFY BED/PILLOWS. The pool was very large with great bar & VERY comfortable lounge chairs. The sea view terrace was perfect for a romantic evening & glass of wine. Only suggestion would be black out curtains. The shuttle service that picked us up at the port and drove us to dinner every night was an added bonus. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.
