Breakfast was great - Michelle (or Melissa) was a star; she brought my partner honey ginger and lemon every morning to help with her sore throat. We had a great sea and beach view from our room. The spa facilities let the resort down - for a 5* spa resort the facilities are restricted to two massage rooms, no indoor pool (the outdoor pools were very cold), no sauna, jacuzzi or steam room. We were staying for a friends wedding (around 50 guests), and the hotel accommodated us all very well and it was spaced out and easy to meet up without feeling overcrowded.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kamari. Kid friendly, with kind and helpful staff. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious, with so many options to choose from. Super close to the airport too, me and my daughter loved watching the planes go by!

Only downside was the pools were very cold, especially at the end of September, however this couldn’t be helped, but be mindful if you’re looking for something suitable for younger kids/babies as my 1.5 year old was shivering.

We loved staying at the Costa Grand for our first trip to Greece. It’s close to the airport, on the beach, and next to a large strip of restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious, had plenty of storage, and a balcony that had a partial ocean view. The property has multiple pools right off the beach, chairs on the beach and right off the restaurant. The restaurant is convenient, but in our opinion over priced and not as good as the multitude of options just a walk away. I had a relaxing facial on the second day that left my skin glowing the rest of the trip, and my husband had a massage at the same time. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with helping us to plan transportation and excursions. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The hotel was immaculate, there was never anything out of place. Our bedroom (616) overlooked the new pool which was gorgeous.
The beach was lovely, very tranquil - even the planes didn’t ruin it
The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was perfect each day with something different and regularly replenished
The position was amazing and it was wonderful to be able to walk to restaurants and shops so easily
My only criticism was that the 2nd restaurant by the pool was a bit uninviting and could have done with more staff or atmosphere
Overall a fantastic holiday - ticked all our boxes

I had the delight of staying at this wonderful beachfront hotel with my family.
I booked two beachfront rooms that were next to the pool that backs onto to the beach where the hotel has its own sunbeds. Basically, in all my years of travelling, I cannot recall my room being so close to the beach. The rooms themselves were of a decent standard but basic compared to other 5 star hotels that I've stayed.

During my stay, I noted that the 1st floor beachfront rooms had superior views of the sea and beach and requested to move to one of them when available- the friendly hotel staff kindly obliged. I must say that this absolutely sealed the wonderful stay.

The hotel itself resembles a quaint Greek village in its style- it really made a great impression on me.

The hotel's location is perfect. It's at the end of the vibrant and friendly Kamari beachfront that has plenty of good restaurants that are reasonably priced. I found the hotel and Kamari beach to be a great retreat away from the busy crowded towns of Fira and Oia.

And finally, I must compliment the hotel staff- amazing! They were helpful prior to and during my stay. Very courteous and helpful. I can't thank them enough for helping locate and keep safe important documents that I misplaced. Brilliant team!

We had a great overall experience in the costa grand resort. The studio room was great, early morning sunshine experience from the balcony with sea right in front of you, the nice breeze in the evening, walking by the sea, shops and restaurants in Kalmari area which is happening till midnight. Swimming pool facilities and the cleaning associates will be visible cleaning the properties all the time.

Regarding any other suggestions, I would prefer to have the Main Reception being tagged in google maps/ roads for tourists who are visiting on their own by cars. Since the mail buildings are same, it is difficult to identify the mail reception and no indicators are available to reach the Reception Office. I need to get down and ask resort people to provide the driving path for the mail parking/reception.

Thanks to the whole Resort team in making our stay memorable.

Close to the airport but after a day you got use to it. The beach is extremely rocky. My private pool had an overwhelming amount of ants surrounding it. So I couldn’t use it in the afternoons.

However the staff was pleasant and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and it was close to the nearby shops and nightlife.

We’ve just returned home from this fabulous hotel, right on the beach so we could hear the sea in our room. Our beach front suite 216 was well worth the upgrade. All staff were invariably friendly and helpful, and all areas were immaculate. The food was delicious and varied. We felt we got the holiday we paid for.

We absolutely loved The Costa Grand and Santorini. The Costa Grand was lovely, the staff polite and professional and very helpful. The restaurants were great. The only issue you may want to consider is the fact that the planes fly really low as it approaches the airport. It is quite noisy, although, you soon get used to it. We were touring around the island most of the day so it really didnt' bother us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I thought it was very kind and a really friendly touch that they upgraded our room free of charge because they heard about our difficult journey with a diverted flight. The hotel is beautiful with white buildings looking right onto the sea. Our beachfront room opened up to the pool area and we had a beautiful sea view and 4 of the pools and sunbed areas look out onto the sea as well. Because there are so many pools it is not difficult to get a sunbed each day. The hotel is also on the strip and only a short walk from the bars and restaurants in Kamari. You can also get a bus to Fira from kamari very nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

While this property is on the opposite side of Santorini from Fira and Oia, we found it even better than those areas. It's not hard to get to the beautiful cities previously mentioned from Kamari beach, but if you're looking for a relaxing, slower vibe for your vacation then Costa Grand is ideal. The staff is incredible, the pools and beach are stunning and the village of Kamari is such an easy walk.

This is a stunning property, with very friendly helpful staff. It is very clean & comfortable.
It is on the flight path, but there went that many planes in & out so not a huge problem.
The breakfast is fantastic & some of the hot food changes for variety. Plenty of options for us as we have to eat gluten free. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Stunning.

The hotel was kept clean at all time; the staff at front of house, concierge and cleaning team were excellent and we felt well looked after.
I only didn’t give 5 stars because options like poached egg were not available, seed mix was not replenished once it was finished it was not replenished the next day. It would be nice for the hotel to stock seeds such as chia, flaxseed and sunflower seeds just for health conscious guests. Yes there are plane noises but only during the day and it’s not annoying. If you really don’t to be under a flight path then this isn’t the hotel for you but you will miss out on lovely staff and beautiful sunrise views every day.

Costa Grand Resort is absolutely impeccable. From the cleaning standards to the friendliness of staff. The facilities are excellent, lots of pools to chill out by and easy access to the beach. The breakfast never disappoints with its variety of food options and it’s perfectly located for exploring the entire island without being as overcrowded as many would think. Also, it’s immediately connected to the promenade on the beach where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. And it only takes about 10 minutes to get here from the airport. There is the occasional planes that flies low but it’s more of an entertainment rather than a bother. Simply, pure perfection.

Being close to the airport you heard and saw the aeroplanes landing but this did not detract from our stay at all. We would definitely go back to Costa Grand.

Lovely hotel, kept immaculately clean and all staff lovely and helpful too. Highly recommend. Only downside being fair skinned is that the very hot sun in late July means it’s not always easy to sunbathe with enough shade. The aircraft flying overhead can be alarming, but not so frequent where it’s a nuisance. It’s an easy compromise coming here because the hotel is in such a good location for amenities and bars/restaurants, and we actually appreciate the close proximity to the airport (10 mins drive). We hope to return!

The stay here was amazing as well as the staff I absolutely loved the service to our room. The staff member that serviced it daily went above and beyond keeping our room comfortable and clean. She was an absolute delight. The spa was very relaxing. The only take away I did not care for was the planes landing every 30 mins over the top of the resort. It was very loud and sometimes jarring to the relaxation. Everything else’s was a 10/10.

Gorgeous hotel, staying in a beachfront studio, perfect for our girls hen do trip - the room was large and clean, had its own balcony and access to the pool and beach, and a fantastic breakfast included in the restaurant each day. Walking distance to the little strip of restaurants, bars and shops, and only a little further to the bus stop to get to Fira. Planes also fly right over the top (bonus for me, but is a little noisy when they do). Staff were so helpful, there's a gym and spa on site, bags can be kept safe after checkout for you, and it's just a great spot for a break.

Amazing hotel with the most beautiful sunrise views! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family, catering to our every need with genuine warmth and hospitality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a large balcony and breathtaking sunrise views!
The buffet breakfast was delicious everyday and also had gluten free options.
The hotel is also just a minute walk away to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets.
There were a lot of pools to choose from, although the water was too cold to swim when we were there.
We loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back again.

The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and has very friendly and helpful staff.
It is right on the beach and has a number of swimming pools so each one is rarely crowded or busy.
Excellent buffet breakfast and great food for lunch and dinner available too.
It's very close to the airport, so you will see and hear planes flying overhead - though it's not such a busy destination so it's not that frequent.
All in all, a great place to stay!

Customer service was impeccable and the breakfast was just incredible.
The hotel is located on the perfect side of the city and you're within walking distance of the best restaurants and businesses. The beach? stunning!

We only stayed one night because we wanted to stay closer to Oia, but wish we would’ve stayed longer. The rooms are beautiful, updated, clean, and the staff was amazing. They upgraded us to a beachfront for free which was amazing but the other rooms would’ve been just as good I think. Free parking and best free breakfast buffet I have ever seen. We also got lunch at the restaurant and it was excellent. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Only downside is the airplane noise since it is so close to airport but it stopped about 10:30pm and started again early. Also, it is a drive from Oia and Fira but if you rent a car it is fine.

My husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary in Santorini and the Costa Grand was a wonderful stay. Everything from the staff to the amenities was just perfect. The only problem was that our stay was far too short. We will definitely be returning for longer next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location on the end of the Kamari dining strip. Modern hotel with large rooms, excellent air conditioning and good selection of 6 pools, bars and dining facilities.

However, it’s literally on the flight path and your room will shake 50 times a day, 24/7 with incoming flights, including 10 flights between midnight and 6am.

A sea view is only that, over the roof of other buildings and only half the sun beds to rooms ratio meaning the dreaded towels on sun beds before 8am or no place at the pool. Despite the sun beds being empty half of the time.

Some weddings unfortunately also means the guests of these weddings think they own the hotel and take over restaurants and bars. They don’t yet have the balance right for these events.

We chose to stay here as it has a more family friendly vibe than Fira and Oia. The property did not disappoint. It was beautiful right on the beach and the staff was great. We rented a car which made getting around easy.

Rooms were a very good size
Beds round the pool were very close together
Dont underestimate just how loud the planes are and how many of them there are at the start and end of the day
Breakfast was limited
but ALL the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made it all good.

This Hotel is a fine example or a 5 star rating

Most pleasant stay and super helpful and efficient staff. Couldn't ask for anything more. And breakfast was superb and mask wearing was effectively enforced.
