Beachfront suite 216

Nice spacious well appointed room for a family of 4
Sofa beds in separate room for children balcony access from both rooms. Not much wardrobe/storage as the one down side.

Hotel staff very accommodating in reception and at restaurant - half board is a good option.

Food selection good at breakfast and dinner. Resort easy to access for local amenities and multiple restaurants.

Sunrise in front of the hotel - easy access to multiple pools and beach - plenty of sunbeds and hotel offers beach towels.

Highly recommend

When we first arrived we net Mary and Anna .
They made us feel welcome and even offered us a place to put our luggage as we arrived very early in morning about 6 hours before check in. They also allowed us to have the complimentary breakfast which was included in our booking but would start the next day. They were very helpful and also told us we could use the pool area until our rooms were ready. Georgia was very helpful and very friendly to us. She took time to talk to us and reassured us that everything was going to be OK. She even help us to book our cruise which was lovely I must say. All staff were really helpful and pleasant. When we went to breakfast we met Maria, she was so so helpful and all the breakfast staff was really pleasant and helpful. The cleaners were really nice and very thorough with cleaning. Everyone was really helpful and made our stay a enjoyable one. Costa Grand Resort will definitely be my number one spot for vactioning when I return to Santorini. Customer service and prompt response was excellent. I can't remember all the names of the staffs but they were all great. We just want to say a big THANK YOU for hosting us. The shuttle from the airport was very pleasant and the driver was very engaging. He took us to and from the airport. He was very helpful with our luggage and he helped me to get in and out of the vehicle. I should mentioned that I have a disability and I needed help with mobility. I was treated with care and respect by all staffs.

We had the time of our lives. First time on Santorini and we heard the east side was quieter and beautiful and fun and Costa Grande helped make all of that true.

Easy 10-12 minute ride to Fira but we spent nights listening to the ocean and enjoying a 5 star hotel. Footsteps away were 15 great restaurants and the food and breakfasts at CG were beyond. Stella - the waitress was a delight and we loved every minute.

My husband and I went to Santorini for our honeymoon. This was the perfect spot for us. We had a private suite with a private pool overlooking the ocean. It was more than we could’ve asked for. The staff were incredible the entire time. They were always willing to help with the best things to do in the island including booking main attractions. We always had a clean room and excellent service the entire stay. The location was perfect for us since it’s away from the busier places like Oia/Fria so we had a relaxing trip while still able to see the main attractions of the island. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you to everyone that made our honeymoon magical!

The only complaint we had was that we couldn’t stay longer. The resort is beautiful the staff were incredible and the sunrise from our balcony was magnificent. The restaurant at the resort is great but there are dozens of wonderful bars, lounges and restaurants within a two minute walk as well.
Every member of staff we had contact with was helpful courteous and very friendly, from the desk staff at check in to the maintenance and cleaners.
It’s a bit of a cliche, but we really did feel like family. We will definitely be returning. ♥️

Breakfast was great - Michelle (or Melissa) was a star; she brought my partner honey ginger and lemon every morning to help with her sore throat. We had a great sea and beach view from our room. The spa facilities let the resort down - for a 5* spa resort the facilities are restricted to two massage rooms, no indoor pool (the outdoor pools were very cold), no sauna, jacuzzi or steam room. We were staying for a friends wedding (around 50 guests), and the hotel accommodated us all very well and it was spaced out and easy to meet up without feeling overcrowded.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kamari. Kid friendly, with kind and helpful staff. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious, with so many options to choose from. Super close to the airport too, me and my daughter loved watching the planes go by!

Only downside was the pools were very cold, especially at the end of September, however this couldn’t be helped, but be mindful if you’re looking for something suitable for younger kids/babies as my 1.5 year old was shivering.

We loved staying at the Costa Grand for our first trip to Greece. It’s close to the airport, on the beach, and next to a large strip of restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious, had plenty of storage, and a balcony that had a partial ocean view. The property has multiple pools right off the beach, chairs on the beach and right off the restaurant. The restaurant is convenient, but in our opinion over priced and not as good as the multitude of options just a walk away. I had a relaxing facial on the second day that left my skin glowing the rest of the trip, and my husband had a massage at the same time. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with helping us to plan transportation and excursions. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The hotel was immaculate, there was never anything out of place. Our bedroom (616) overlooked the new pool which was gorgeous.
The beach was lovely, very tranquil - even the planes didn’t ruin it
The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was perfect each day with something different and regularly replenished
The position was amazing and it was wonderful to be able to walk to restaurants and shops so easily
My only criticism was that the 2nd restaurant by the pool was a bit uninviting and could have done with more staff or atmosphere
Overall a fantastic holiday - ticked all our boxes

I had the delight of staying at this wonderful beachfront hotel with my family.
I booked two beachfront rooms that were next to the pool that backs onto to the beach where the hotel has its own sunbeds. Basically, in all my years of travelling, I cannot recall my room being so close to the beach. The rooms themselves were of a decent standard but basic compared to other 5 star hotels that I've stayed.

During my stay, I noted that the 1st floor beachfront rooms had superior views of the sea and beach and requested to move to one of them when available- the friendly hotel staff kindly obliged. I must say that this absolutely sealed the wonderful stay.

The hotel itself resembles a quaint Greek village in its style- it really made a great impression on me.

The hotel's location is perfect. It's at the end of the vibrant and friendly Kamari beachfront that has plenty of good restaurants that are reasonably priced. I found the hotel and Kamari beach to be a great retreat away from the busy crowded towns of Fira and Oia.

And finally, I must compliment the hotel staff- amazing! They were helpful prior to and during my stay. Very courteous and helpful. I can't thank them enough for helping locate and keep safe important documents that I misplaced. Brilliant team!

We had a great overall experience in the costa grand resort. The studio room was great, early morning sunshine experience from the balcony with sea right in front of you, the nice breeze in the evening, walking by the sea, shops and restaurants in Kalmari area which is happening till midnight. Swimming pool facilities and the cleaning associates will be visible cleaning the properties all the time.

Regarding any other suggestions, I would prefer to have the Main Reception being tagged in google maps/ roads for tourists who are visiting on their own by cars. Since the mail buildings are same, it is difficult to identify the mail reception and no indicators are available to reach the Reception Office. I need to get down and ask resort people to provide the driving path for the mail parking/reception.

Thanks to the whole Resort team in making our stay memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I thought it was very kind and a really friendly touch that they upgraded our room free of charge because they heard about our difficult journey with a diverted flight. The hotel is beautiful with white buildings looking right onto the sea. Our beachfront room opened up to the pool area and we had a beautiful sea view and 4 of the pools and sunbed areas look out onto the sea as well. Because there are so many pools it is not difficult to get a sunbed each day. The hotel is also on the strip and only a short walk from the bars and restaurants in Kamari. You can also get a bus to Fira from kamari very nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

While this property is on the opposite side of Santorini from Fira and Oia, we found it even better than those areas. It's not hard to get to the beautiful cities previously mentioned from Kamari beach, but if you're looking for a relaxing, slower vibe for your vacation then Costa Grand is ideal. I only didn’t give 5 stars because options like poached egg were not available, seed mix was not replenished once it was finished it was not replenished the next day. It would be nice for the hotel to stock seeds such as chia, flaxseed and sunflower seeds just for health conscious guests. Yes there are plane noises but only during the day and it’s not annoying. The breakfast never disappoints with its variety of food options and it’s perfectly located for exploring the entire island without being as overcrowded as many would think. Also, it’s immediately connected to the promenade on the beach where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. And it only takes about 10 minutes to get here from the airport. There is the occasional planes that flies low but it’s more of an entertainment rather than a bother. Simply, pure perfection.

Lovely hotel, kept immaculately clean and all staff lovely and helpful too. Highly recommend. Only downside being fair skinned is that the very hot sun in late July means it’s not always easy to sunbathe with enough shade. The aircraft flying overhead can be alarming, but not so frequent where it’s a nuisance. It’s an easy compromise coming here because the hotel is in such a good location for amenities and bars/restaurants, and we actually appreciate the close proximity to the airport (10 mins drive). Hotel was nice and clean , great locations; ocean front just a quick walk to the beach! The room size and beds was better than expected got a good night sleep every night. Special Thank You to Georgia at the concierge desk for making restaurant recommendations and making the reservations and booking transportation, she was so nice and friendly. She helped create beautiful moments for our family! Love every bit of our stay!!

Even before I arrived my impression of Costa Grand was high. Nikola always returned my messages and then when I arrived what can I say. The Reception was wonderful. Every staff member that works at this resort is wonderful. Even the cleaners, this place is spotless and so friendly and very helpful. I thoroughly loved it. 10 /10
