Amazing location in the heart of Old Town Nerja, steps to Balcon. Room very comfortable, beautiful views. Staff very accommodating and helped in every way we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Look forward to coming back!! High recommend for self catering stay.

We loved our stay at Nerja, place was cleant and cozy, Had all amenities needed and staff was friendly and helpful. Location is the best, in the middle of town. Plenty of restaurants and shopping options. Walking distance to the shore. We strongly recommend.

Great location. Room had a beautiful view. Did not have good air conditioning working in November. We were able to keep door open since it was very quiet with just the sound of Mediterranean tide. So that worked out. The pillows definitely need an upgrade. The continental buffet was nice. Would hesitate recommending but the staff and the view were excellent and their responsiveness as well as instructions for parking nearby were great. The Nerja Plaza de Espana garage nearby the hotel was one of the nicest, cleanest, and easiest to access garages we've encountered touring Spain.

For facility conditions, a little outdated, tiled floor everywhere, old elevator, gym is 6€, quite small, a bit dirty, there were no towels in the bathroom near the gym and hand sanitizers were all finished
Also in shower there’s only one all purpose soap, no shampoo

This property is located right in the heart of the square- the Balcony of Europe. Step
Outside your hotel and you have restaurants and shops galore. The hotel staff is excellent and the rooms are very clean. Furniture is basic but we had everything we needed. Some rooms offer an incredible sea view. Attached to the hotel is one of the best bar/restaurant views with very reasonable prices. Only downside is there is no parking. There is public parking nearby but you have to walk your luggage across the square to the hotel . Would stay here again!

Really happy with everything the rooms were very clean and well presented and the balconies were clean and had nice furniture.
The staff were lovely and responded to any requests we made really quickly.
The breakfasts were delicious and lots of choice including hot and cold options.
No complaints at all and most important of all the location was absolutely perfect close to all amenities, lovely beaches, bars, restaurants and shops.
The pool was excellent too

Great stay but construction going on. You do need to bring bags from Plaza de Spain to the hotel as the taxi / uber drivers cannot get close to the hotel. It wasn’t a problem for us but it might be for others ( if this is a factor )

A great stay in a wonderful place.

This was our third Christmastime stay in a deluxe apartment. The hotel is centrally located in a pedestrianised area which means access to just about everything in Nerja is a walk away. The apartment we had comprised a bedroom, shower room and a sitting room/kitchenette. The room was comfortable for two people plus their luggage but if extra people use the sofa bed in the sitting room things could get a little tight.
Reception staff are helpful with a special mention for Victor and Eva for arranging taxi transfers and general assistance during our stay. Breakfast is taken out on the terrace. In winter months you will probably need a cardigan until at least the sun comes up. There is a reasonable selection of items available for breakfast but sometimes re-stocking the breakfast buffet is slower than demand dictates. A couple of observations: the carpets in the corridors and stairways could do with a clean as some stains were seen. Second, the interiors of the apartments are tiled which is better for cleanliness but people dragging furniture around in other apartments can be heard clearly which is annoying - especially if this is done late at night.

The only reason I gave this property 4 stars instead of five is that you have to book for slot for breakfast in advance and you only have a 30 minute sitting. When on holiday breakfast should be at your leisure and not rushed. Everything else was great.

Lovely stay staff were friendly . Basic enough breakfast but enough and nice to be able to eat it overlooking the sea. Perfect central location. Imagine could be noiser in summertime but that wouldnt bother us. Pool spotless sun there a few hours a day based on position within 2 buildings . Checkin was fast and the hotel is in a great location. Parking is very limited near the hotel. The internet in the room was working on an off throughout my visit and the bed was uncomfortable. They advertise a gym but it is not open which they should have noted and they are suppose to be Covid clean hotel but I found a female hair in my shower. When I told the front desk about my concern of the room cleanliness they did not show any concern.

Great location. Hotel is ok. What let’s it down is that the beds are rock hard so sleep is impossible. The “gym” and “indoor pool” is a joke. The fact they charge an extra €6 to visit the gym (a couple of free weights and two broken cross trainers) is robbery.

The location is great for first time to Nerja. View was great. It is clean and the breakfast is nice. Furnishings are old and very uncomfortable. The bed was too firm I kept tossing and turning and bedding too light weight for February. Tile floors may be cool in summer but beware they are very slippery when wet. The shower barely worked, old shower head. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Would not stay in a standard room again (308). Asked for a bright sunny room but room allocated was very dark and no balcony. Exceptionally clean, towels changed every day but sheets only changed once in a 9 night stay. Pool out of action due to a refurb, which we knew about but no mention of the pub being closed for the holidays and this was one of the main reasons we wanted to stay in this accommodation. Breakfast was adiquate and plentiful but had to set own table so took time going backwards and farwards as no trays provided also had to leave the hotel to access breakfast room so would get wet in the rain. Fabulous terrace overlooking the sea with access right on to the beach. All staff very nice and facilities in apartment very good but not so comfortable as settee was under the tv so could only view whilst in bed. No Wi-Fi in room. Would stay at this hotel again but not in the same room. Best thing by far was the location.

Great stop on our Spanish family trip

Great facility was clean and comfortable. Paid for a ocean view, but our balcony room had a pool view and minimal ocean view. Beautiful location with a quick walk down to the small beach area. Water beautiful, warm and NO JELLY FISH! Beach is semi-steep & ocean drops off quickly. Well protected cove area. On low tide it was fun swimming out and around the sea stacks, watching people dive into the water & having a good time. It's worth the expense to pay and park. Breakfast was good. We will come back!

This hotel is at the excellent location, beautiful views and is very close to the beach . It also has a nice pool. People were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was great.
Parking in Nerja is difficult. Probably best to park at the Balcón Europa parking lot when you first arrive. Be prepared to walk to the hotel from the parking lot. The hotel is right in the centre of the walking zone.

Avoid at all cost! Stay away.

Took one look and walked out, did not stay. First off, they advertise \"parking available,\" which turns out to be municipal pay parking (assuming there is room) and then walk with suitcases to hotel. This is dishonest advertising. The lobby was dark with a saggy old couch.We were told to take the elevator to 3rd floor and then walk up to our 4th floor apt, which turned out to be a winding staircase up to basically a garret. My husband immediately hit his head on the sloped ceiling. The furniture was old. A mop and bucket were left in the room. Room smelled strongly of disinfectant. Bathroom fixtures very old. Everything was dingy and sad, in desperate need of attention and an update. The outdoor pool was quite small. The only thing ok was the view from the balcony. Everything else was sad and disgusting. Maybe ok if you are a young backpacker and looking for something a slight step up from a youth hostel. Pictures are misleading, look nothing like what the rooms really are. Nothing modern. They admitted the room we were given was not the room we booked, but they still would not give any of our money back. They said they would move us but not first night because hotel was full. Not only were we not willing to spend even one night in that disgusting room, but we had walked past another room that was being made up and looked only marginally better. Awful place.

Amazing location dated but still nice

Had a pretty good day here the room was not what we saw in the pictures but we ended up with a spacious room with a terrace that was a bit dated and very badly maintained. The hotel is not being run very well breackfast is alright but the worst coffe I’ve ever had in my life! And it’s annoying that your not allowed to sit by the ocean to enjoy the view. Some of the staff was very. I’ve in the front desk and some not so much. The fact that you have to exit the hotel and walk down the hill to go to the bar or breakfast is rediculous as well since there is a staircase coneectung the spaces that goes through the Pool overall it was the only option we had in Nerja and it’s worked well for just a night.

Air conditioning was broken in our first room, were given a very large dirty noisy fan until next day. Engineer came & left room with steps in it, exposed wires where the thermostat was & ceiling exposed in bathroom. We were then moved to a better room, which although clean had the most awful 'bad drain smell' when you entered.
Breakfast was fine with enough choice.
Location couldn't be better.

Biggest disappointment was the parking. Free local parking turned out to be parking in a street nearby. Good luck with finding that. As it was we parked in a car park nearby which was just wasteland but safe enough I think. Cost us over 30 Euros. Reception at hotel not very interested or helpful.
Hotels.com said there was free parking.

Reception staff spoke English and were polite. Room a good size on third floor and looked out over square in front of church. Good selection of complimentary toiletries in the room and dining room faced the sea. Buffet breakfast included hot food. Several bars in the vicinity would make this a noisy location for some but in mid November it was fine. On down side the room looked a bit shabby eg lots of scratches on the wood floor, tired looking sofa. Also chilly at night in November and no duvet on the bed, just a light cover, but found a blanket in the wardrobe. Only stayed three nights. I stayed with husband. If we were staying more than 3 nights we would have paid for a room upgrade.

The position of these apartments is second to none. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a seaview is definitely worth the extra cost. However it is the staff who make this our favourite place to stop in Nerja. A special mention this time for Javier who couldn't do enough to make our holiday special. He is a real asset to the Toboso. We will definitely return.

perfect location

The apartments are in an excellent location by the main square so all the amenities are on the doorstep and 2 small beaches are just a few yards away.

Athough we were self catering we were advised that breakfast was included so that was an added bonus.

Our room(003) was at the rear looking out to the pool area. At night it was very quiet except 1 night when there was a wedding on at Cochrans next door when it sounded like a live band was playing. It was very loud but loud music has to stop at 11.30pm so that wasn't an issue. Rooms on the front would overlook the square so would be ideal for people watching though I understand there can be some noise nuisance around 3am when workmen empty the bins.

We always got a sun bed by the pool when we went down about 3-4pm but at high season that might be a problem as its only a small area. The hotel also provides towels for use on the sunbeds so that saved using our own .

The staff on reception were always very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay at these apartments again if I returned to Nerja and highly recommend it..

The only (very slight) downside is that the area around the apartments is pedestrianised so our transport dropped us off about 10 mins walk away which wasn't ideal even though it is possible for vehicles to get close to the main square. I also understand there is an underground car park so there must be some way to get there for private vehicles.

Beautiful location!!! Front area of hotel looks right at the ocean. There was a nice pool area and a large outdoor bar with a beautiful view. Our room looked over an area where lical entertainers performed each night. So cool to watch them from our large open windows. The only negative is that it was a bit loud on that side if the hotel Great breakfast included also! Would stay here again if ever lucky enough to return to Nerja!

We had one of the rooms surrounding the pool. Pool is clean and well maintained. Also had a view of the Med. However the guest use the pool as their pub and all day party area. Suggest getting room without the view and you won't have to deal with 20 plus people just outside the window. Party at the pool is booted out at 7 pm but they come back first thing in the morning.

Great location on the square, right beside the church and overlooking the sea if you have a room at the back. Staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. Rooms are fine and were cleaned daily. Only gripe is that for the duration of our 3 week stay there was building work going on everywhere. The bar, terrace and café were closed which didn't help. No mention was made of this before we booked.....that said obviously it is low season (January) and the improvements will make these apartments an even better place to stay and enjoy Nerja. I would definitely stay there again once the construction is complete.

We both enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and had all we needed in terms of being able to cook for ourselves. It was a comfortable and welcoming place. We had some great views of sunrises and sunsets, very good for Londoners deprived of sunlight! We also slept with the sound of the sea in our ears.

The room was overheated (in a very cold January) but the heating controls worked fine and I was able to adjust it to our liking.

Bed could have been more comfortable but was acceptable.

Great beach just short walk from the hotel, spent some enjoyable mornings walking on the beach in the winter sun

Service was great, we needed a few things sorting out in the apartment and they were promptly sorted. I made a mistake in the reservation and that was sorted out without any hassle.

Note to car drivers: parking is 10 minutes away and Nerja is really confusing when it comes to finding streets. If you're looking a motel type place where you park your car in the hotel, then Nerja is not really the place for you. Most of the hotels we stayed at didn't have parking or if they did, they charged a lot of money for parking that was far away.

The location is just wonderful as it is very close to the Europa Balcony. We paid extra amount for a seaview room, but it turned out that our room was just next to the swimming pool with a corner of the sea. Very disappointed. Our room was located on the ground-floor which required us to walk downstairs to an underground floor, and turned upstairs again to a place next to the bar, with our heavy luggage carrying by ourselves. Considering the fair price, perhaps we just got what we paid anyway.

Good quality by the Balcon

We had a strange room os the third floor that were told wad an upgrade. Javier at the front desk was always very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, and all was clean. WiFi was completely useless except in the lobby and by the pool. Pool was a bit cold, but not too cold to get in. Easy access to a nice beach. There was a fair going on and the town was incredibly busy, but the room was quiet enough except during the fireworks. We would go back without hesitation.

Nice hotel, good location, good bar.

The room was clean beds were good, breakfast was above average. Bar was good pours and far prices. pool was clean and fun for my son. Melody at the front desk was the most helpful but everyone there made you feel welcome.

Excellent views and close to the beach

An ideally located hotel in the central square of Nerja. Very close to the all of the beaches and to local shopping and restaurants. The apartment with sea views was wonderful. Clean and spacious with a stunning view of the ocean, beaches and restaurant below. Kitchen facilities were good with basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery. Relatively noise free at night as we were on the beach side. The pool was a nice alternative for a swim on a hot day.

Fab area but hotel needs small upgrade

Lady at reception was brilliant . The guy was rude and impatient .. Beds could do with upgrading and new duvets instead of current set up.. They wanted €6 for gym use and it's tiny and under equipped wifi very poor

Nice hotel with a great location

We very much enjoyed staying in this hotel. The location was perfect, with a view on to the main square. Loved the option of making our own breakfast. The room and bathroom were both a good size and the bed was comfortable. Free parking was a 10 minute walk. Only issue was that the bathroom developed a sewer smell that got increasingly stronger. Still, would stay here again.

great location and staff!

The hotel was located right off the Balcon De Europa and located right in the center of Nerja. The hotel staff were very friendly and even helped us arrange our journey out of Nerja by being our translator.
