This is a lovely hotel in a lovely town centre. I was very impressed. The room was spotless, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Thank you for a great stay.

The hotel is only a 15 minute spin to the ferry.

We didn’t manage to get hotel parking, as it was already fully booked, but I parked on a nearby street and would have no hesitation in doing so again.
My wife and I were so impressed by Calais and the hotel that we plan to go back and stay for a few nights.

Hotel looks tiered, is divided into several buildings. We booked 2 rooms on the same reservation and were places in different building and tolad that they did not know we were together, this dispute being one booking and having called the night before to ask if it was posyto have one twin and one double instead of 2 twins. Breakfast was also poor.

Very handy location for the ferry. Beds incredibly comfortable. Quite noisy outside due to city centre location. Not enough staff at breakfast so couldn’t maintain supply of plates, knives etc quickly enough or clear tables at peak time. Odd system in the room where you had to press a button before you could open the door. Not sure what the advantage of that is. Layout of family room was nice to give some privacy.

So disappointed with the whole stay. my husband and i are both disabled and on arrival we was told NO parking spaces left first come first serve was what we was told.and we would have to park outside on main road,which meant my husband going and moving the car every 15mins which was the limit. the 1hour 30mins limit where full.no limit after 7pm to 6am which meant he was up early to keep moving the car again.
The noise throughout the whole night was caused by drunks screaming and shouting.
The bonnet of our car had been sat on with food and drink all over it which left 2 scratches.
So very bad and tiring experience

I’m not meaning to be negative with this property, staff were good, breakfast good, room clean. Basic bar on site with pool/football tables to play…. It’s the centre of Calais, I didn’t realise Calais has such a great night life (casino & nightclub over the road) but in this occasion I had an early ferry crossing with small people so didn’t appreciate to good vibes being had outside… other positives were free roadside parking and lots of restaurants nearby, we went to the Italian on the square which was lovely. Also got a great view of the traditional lighthouse

Extremely disappointing stay. Several issues from misleading information about parking to no air con and the general condition and cleanliness. Firstly, upon arrival we were notified there was no parking available, that we should have called to reserve a place and that it was full. There was nothing in the Hotels.com listing to indicate that. We specifically picked this hotel for the parking. The room was very warm when we arrived and we tried to put the air con on but it wasn’t working. We were then advised that because it was September, the air con had been switched off and changed for heating and there was nothing they could do. It had reached 25 degrees that day, and the room was very warm. We tried to leave the window open but being on the main road it was too noisy with bars on the street. As a result we were barely able to sleep. The carpet was dusty, the toilet wasn’t properly clean, the window blind was broken.

We were given two rooms on the rear of the hotel. One up very steep stairs. Asked for bath but did not get one. Tried to exit hotel to cat park to find we were locked in. Very dangerous. Took twenty minutes to get help.
Also street noise kept us awake until early hours of the morning.

We got a quiet room as requested. Air con needed to be reset a couple of times because it was not cooling. Free breakfast was a nice touch with good variety. Parking is limited. Please make it clearer how people can reserve a hotel parking space.

Breakfast was good but no mayo for eggs which you need to cook yourself and somebody helped themself to egg i was patiently waiting to be cooked. Room was very smelly. I had to open the windows for an hour to remove the smell of dirty socks/damp. In the middle of the night I found out the reason: A/C was dripping water into the carpet when in use: my bags of clothes get soaked wet but thankfully my laptop bag is waterproof otherwise it would have damaged my laptops. Around 4am the water dripping was so annoying that I had to switch it off and open the window: then the seagulls were the ones keeping me awake. Staff was friendly though but not apologetic when k raised the issue.

We chose this hotel because it had parking. However, the car park was full when we arrived at 22:15, as were the on street spaces.
We double parked to unload & the reception staff gave us advice as to where to find a space. Fortunately, on the 5th time round the block a space became available. Free on street parking overnight (until 09:00) was a bonus.

The hotel has an excellent location, parking is payable via an app, or free parking about a km away after you drop your bags off.
Couldn't fault the hotel for the price, lots of bars and restaurants in the town centre too. I recommend Cafe de Paris for an evening meal.

This is our preferred hotel in Calais for stopovers on our journeys to and from the UK. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff are friendly, the on-site parking is secure (you must book in advance) and the breakfast is always good with plenty of choice.

Great location in Central calais. Our room a/c didn't work but they moved us with no fuss. Being on the top floor meant lugging suitcases up a very steep staircase. The Ibis beds seem to have a mattress protector which makes the bed very hot and spoils the night

We went over to Calais for an overnight shopping trip and the Ibis Styles is ideally situated for some nice restaurants nearby. We were able to park outside on rue Royale which was great. Breakfast was excellent with so much variety so all in all a great overnight stay.

Parking tricky but eventually got a space on the street once people started leaving restaurants. Was a little noisy and a bit frustrating that the only “window” was a door - we’d usually like to sleep with the door open and found the room quite hot
Everything else was good- bed comfy and room basic but adequate to just put your head down for a night. I wouldn’t choose this hotel if I was staying any longer due to no kettle in room, no wardrobe (just a rail), no cooked breakfast (but a very good breakfast offering otherwise)

Staff were good upon arrival. Unable to park at the front and parking needs to be booked in advance (15 euros for the night) - it is secure.
Had to walk across car park from reception to get to our rooms. No tea making facilities in room. There were facilities on the ground floor, but they did not work.
Room was small.
Right in the centre and some good restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good.

Great hotel - excellent location

This is a great hotel, centrally located with loads of excellent food options on the doorstep and a 10 minute walk to the beach. We use this hotel as a stop off on the way home via the eurotunnel (its 15/20 mins drive to the tunnel). The staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and the breakfast is great. We used the onsite car parking this time and it was much easier than parking on the street - you need to book in advance with reception and its first come first served.

Great but choose your room wisely

I love Ibis styles, they are cool and the breakfasts are normally good. The only thing you've got to be aware of is the noise from the night club and pub opposite the rooms on the front of the hotel. The loud music was on until really late and really really loud. We were in room 204, you have been warned.
