We used this as a stopover travelling from Denmark to Calais. It was excellent. Easy parking (critically for us without height restriction) behind the hotel.

The room was perfect except for the common 2 single mattresses converted to a 2 person bed (damned slit between them) but for the rest it was a superb experience. AC worked, curtains were dark, bathroom in working order and the bar and parking were a good added amenity. For this price you cant go wrong, but it never felt cheap.

For a second time there was a lady in Reception And it was not that Great because she put 3 of us on Higher floor without single bed for a child so I came back to Reception I put request for a bed because I booked room for 3 people so she said that she will bring a bed, So 10 min after she send a barman who came to our bedroom with a bed for my son. Barman was also very kind with big smile And excellent service. The lady from Reception wasnt that kind like The others guys from Reception. That was Great break in your hotel I will definitely come back. The best bed Ive ever had. Excellent hotel. Thank you.

I had a company meeting for 60 people. The conference room, rooms, restaurant and food were awesome. In my oponion, Ghotel is not 3 star it's 4-star hotel. But the Wifi was useless.

i stayed for 2 nights for business while attending a trade show in Duesseldorf. The hotel is close to the Essen train station which is half a half an hour train ride from Duesseldorf.
The hotel has a nice boutique style and seems new or recently renovated. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were a nice size. Breakfast was generous and included in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room amenities were not the top - just one type of all purpose gel in the bathroom.

The hotel was everything we hoped it would be - clean, modern, comfortable and in a very convenient location. The breakfast was also excellent and was a perfect way to start our day on Essen. Would definitely recommend Ghotel to anyone looking to visit Essen.

G Hotel is new and clean. The beds are firm and comfortable and have power points on each side of the bed, shower pressure is reasonable and there are bottles of hand wash/ shower gel on the wall. There isn't too much noise leakage from the rooms surrounding although it's on a busy road so sometimes you hear car horns or the railway behind. Recetion staff are friendly and efficient, although sometimes the restaurant staff can be a bit slow. The restaurant has a reasonable menu (no room service) and there is a reasonable hotel bar which isn't too expensive. There is no gym on site. Free wifi is pretty quick and seems to have full coverage across the hotel but does disconnect itself regularly.

Accommodatie is op loopafstand van de centrum, treinstation and winkelcentrum. Het was schoon maar wel een beetje basic, was goed te doen voor een weekendje. Miste wel een paar bekertjes op toilet of in de kamer zelf. Airco deed het goed, maar bed was heel smal en kort. Pakeren was goed geregeld en veilig met camera’s. Geen ontbijt of dinner genomen dus kan geen oordeel geven hierover. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Vi havde bare brug for en enkelt overnatning på vej ned igennem Tyskland og der fungerer det fint. Savnede lidt grønt og skåret frugt på morgenbuffeten - der var kun hele pærer, bananer osv. værelserne er virkelig lydtætte hvilket jo også gør man ikke kan åbne et vindue ud imod togbanen - men der er fin luft fra en stille aircondition. Alt i alt er meget fint ophold.

5 Sterne gibt's insbesondere für die nette Junge Frau an der Rezeption beim Check in. Sehr sehr freundlich und immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Wird heutzutage immer seltener.

Beim Check In wurde mir zugesagt die Rechnung beim Check Out zu erhalten. Beim Check Out wurde mir diese verweigert, sehr unangenehm wenn die Rechnung im original notwendig ist. Nicht empfehlenswert für geschäftliche Aufenthalte.

Roomservice teilt im Doppelzimmer nur Handtücher für eine Person aus. Plastikbecher im Bad eingespart wg Umweltschutz. Schon mal was von Gläsern gehört? Zimmer Service muss bestellt werden, sonst wird das Zimmer nicht sauber gemacht. Auch hier wird der Umweltschutz angeführt. Na wenn es dafür mal nicht andere Gründe gibt… also keine Hotelkette, die ich zukünftig wieder buchen werde.

Sehr freundliches Personal sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Betten sind sehr bequem dad Hotel ist geflegt und sehr sauber wenn ich in Essen unterwegs bin dann diese Hotel. Weil einfach alles passt .
