After a week at an aparthotel, we decided we should spoil ourselves. This was a great option. The staff and facilities were great. The rooms were top-notch. We received an upgrade to the 28th floor. The room had just been remodeled and had some great features. We were there during a large storm, so all the eating options were limited to the hotel. They did a great job keeping up with the customer demands during such a busy evening. I would absolutely stay here again.

In one word, our stay at this fabulous hotel was AMAZING. The hotel is in pristine condition and located in a great section of Barcelona. The service is excellent, the rooms are large, clean, modern, and offer wonderful amenities. The hotel also has excellent restaurant and bar choices. I highly recommend this property.

We booked a panoramic room with sea view and they tried to give us a signature room with partial view right next to the construction and the elevator for the construction. The hotel is under construction, even on Sunday you have noise. They told that rooms are not available because of the construction. Finally we got another room with a great view but only on the 6th floor out of 43 floors. I specifically asked for upper floor in advance but it was fully ignored. Staff is very posh and sometimes we felt that they didn’t want to help us with tickets to sightseeing or at the spa.

The room was very dated and was not user friendly. The light system was really weird. We had a sea view but it was obstructed by the large framework outside. There was two elevators you had to take to get out and the air freshener they had was extremely strong and not natural. Was not what we expected and can’t say we would stay again. Just our preference and not our style.

This hotel checked all the boxes for my family holiday in Barcelona. Beautiful and clean rooms with scenic views - the expanse of the city on one side and the sea on the other. The staff is attentive, kind and eager to help. There's a shuttle that runs into city for daytime excursions. And beach access for guests - I was pleased that the hotel allowed us to take our pool towels to the beach. There's a little store across the street for sunscreen, toiletries, etc. And there are a dozen amazing restaurants a short walk away. Hotel management went above and beyond to help me curate a memorable experience for my family. I will be back.

Update Your Computer Systems & Stop Penalizing Us
Hotel Arts got into a cancellation fee dispute with Hotels.com over a date change before I even left America. Neither company could create a work around for their computer systems and the trip never happened. I spent 2 days dealing with both companies repeatedly and neither did the right thing. Think twice about using either company since you are penalized when your child wakes up puking and you cannot board an airplane.

Very few people working in the area for check-in/check-out for such a big hotel causing delays. Disappointed because no more food can be ordered after 4:30pm in the swimming pool area. Was a lovely hotel, nice staff but my only complaint. Is that I booked the hotel with the impression that the pool would be available. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel. The property, room and service was so bad that we actually checked out early and stayed at a different 3 star property which was much better than this one. Reception only decided that they were willing to help after they were caught with their pants down and we decided to check out early - too late by then. Expedia did their best to help support, but the property was uncooperative. We let our credit card company handle the refunds (which they did).
If you do decide to throw money at this property, get the club room for the best chance at a good experience.
