Area and Dining I guess can't be blamed on hotel. Bed was fine for sleeping. AC or Heat didn't work. WiFi didn't work. Bathroom needs a review of its own, it needs to be gut renovated. There were no images of the bathroom. The bathroom was an elderly care facility. The shower was just on the open floor with a curtain and toilet was high up accommodating for mobility issued individuals. When shower was on, the water splattered every where. The toilet was not set to the floor, it kept moving.

I'm becoming famished writing this review. Anyways, I get the price is low, that doesn't mean the shower should have mold in the head, water damaged wood, slow water draining pipe.

A warm welcome and friendly staff.

We chose Stelle hotel as it was close to Garibaldi station. You can walk through the station right into a foyer brings you right in front of hotel reception.
A warm welcome from the receptionist we stored our bags as we arrived very early and headed off to the city centre to explore.
The hotel itself is pleasant, rooms were clean. Shower and toiletries were ok.
No free bottled water and two tea bags supplied we asked for a few extra.
Breakfast was fine not overly exciting too much cake and not so much savoury.
Staff member was helpful with the drinks machine, fruit juice was watery.

As mentioned a good base for the station but the area is not too pleasant. We didnt want to drag our suitvases to far and used the airport bus.

Several restaurants around but mostly snack bars. Definitely recommend the hotel for its convenience for traveling onto Ercolano for Herculaneum or further for Pompeii.

Our flight was cancelled and I booked this hotel for an emergency 1 night stay.
The room was clean but a bit shabby and lacking in soul. It was comfortable and had everything that we could want. We only paid 65 Euros so I cannot complain.
The best thing about the hotel were the lovely staff who were very kind and helpful to weary stressed travellers.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, etc and I really liked the direct access from the train station to a back entrance to the hotel so we didn’t have to go out on to the public street sidewalks. The surrounding neighborhoods seemed a bit sketchy and we didn’t feel comfortable venturing out at night. The restaurant at the hotel is not open for dinner.

The location is really good, we needed to be close to the train station so it was perfect.

The only thing that I didn’t like it was the ac since you couldn’t configure it as you wish, the humidity was bad inside the room and we could put the dry mode in the ac but it wasn’t possible to change it. And the breakfast could be so much better! It was really poor and bad quality, old food… anyway I would recommend it coz the room was confortable, big and super clean, and the price was good as well!

This hotel is very convenient to the train station and not far from the airport. It is easy to get there if you take the Alibus from the airport to the train station. It is then just a 5 minute walk.
The hotel itself was clean and the staff is friendly. There are several options for food nearby. The air conditioning works!
The area around the hotel is not the best but also not the worst.

I chose this hotel due to the relatively close location to airport, and 4 starts status. Upon check in, the front desk person had a big frown on his face and acted like I was bothering him when I asked where is a convinent place to eat around here.
The hotel room is old and small. There is zero sound proof, and area is dirty, and I did not feel safe walking around. Luckily I only stayed one night, and got outta there.

During our check in it was not informed to us that we have to ask the front desk to turn on the air conditioner. After we figured that out and had them turn it on it was very loud and didn’t cool the room until 8 hours later. We had 2 rooms. This was the same situation for both rooms (403 and 402). Also we only had 1 bed sheet on our bed, no comforter or any other bedding.

This property was chosen due to quick access to train station. Also there is a grocery market within reasonable walking distance. Breakfast was nice to give a nice start to exploring Napoli. Bear in mind that location is next to central train station so you will encounter many homeless people. Room was nice with minor issue at checkin that was resolved but I would have no problem staying here again.

No options for dining. The wifi in the room did not work. Apparently the server kept going down. The AC leaked so bad it created a puzzle on the floor that i slipped and fell on.

I spent 3 nights with kids and wife. Have two rooms. One with carpet have to sever mold smell and cigaret smokes, was not cleaned before.

The air conditioning was a nightmare. The first hotel I saw in my life where AC control at reception and you cannot control it by yourself, you need to call reception every time you want to change it and most of the time there is no answer on the phone and you have to go yourself to reception.
One of the room air conditioners was not working on the first night and the staff said they could not do anything and wait till morning with a 30-degree temp in the room, I requested a fan to spend the night.

Expedia jumped in immediately and dealt excellently, offering me replacement and compensation after checking with staff. After talking to Expedia rep, I felt someone is looking after us. Thanks Expedia.

The next day they changed the room, and every time we went out, the AC turned off then to request at reception.

The staff was not cooperative, no sense of customer service.
Breakfast was average not many choices.

Not a good area to live in, dirty, rough surrounding.
Overall the stay was stressful and embarasing in front of my kids.

The only good thing was close to the train and metro station.

Not recommended in Summer.

The hotel itself is in a terrible area. We did not feel safe. Upon arrival we were not greeted. We were asked our name and response was oh.

Our room was not any better. The shower was covered in mold shown in the pictures. The safety map typically on the back of the door was torn off and missing. One of the stairs leading down was roped off which was safety issue.

The gentleman that helped us this morning to insure that our shuttle to the airport arrived was very nice and I appreciate his help very much.

Do not stay at this hotel

We were due to stay 2 nights at this hotel, but left after one night. The air conditioning unit was so loud no-one could sleep, and it was held together by tape. On the first evening I spoke to the receptionist who told me to open the window as it wasn't that warm out. Very true, but it was very noisy and a brief window opening resulted in mosquitos entering. Overnight the tape holding the air con unit broke. I spoke to the (different) receptionist who said it was difficult to get things fixed in August. We left because I didn't feel safe in a room with air con held together with tape. I emailed the hotel a few days later and they have not had the courtesy to respond.

This hotel serves a good purpose: it is walking distance from the train platforms at Napoli Centrale Train Station without going outside into the city streets. However, it is functional at best. The room was adequate, reasonably clean and minimalist. However, there was absolutely no welcoming atmosphere and the air conditioner was leaking, noisy and difficult to control. The rooftop terrace was closed. We only stayed from late evening to early the next morning.

This hotel is adjacent to the train station and we stayed for a night before our flight. The front desk staff was so helpful, arranging for a car to bring all 5 of us to the airport (and letting us know when the driver arrived early!); the breakfast in the adjacent restaurant had a range of options; our rooms were extremely clean with plenty of towels and had spacious balconies with table and chairs that allowed us to dry out all our bathing suits and towels before packing up - there were several highly rated and reasonably priced pizza and pasta restaurants within 2 blocks. The staff also ensured (without our needing to ask) that our 2 rooms were next to one another. Overall we were really pleased with the hotel!

For a quick layover hotel to the airport, the Stelle is a good choice but stay inside, the neighborhood is rough and dirty and not welcoming. AC is preset to heat at 78’ with no control (we were told) until June when they would switch to AC mode So windows must be opened and the noise is that of a big city. Overall the facility is probably the best in the neighborhood and there is a coffee bar which opens at 7 with breads and sandwiches.

Stayed only for one evening on the way from Sorrento back to Napoli, to then catch a very early morning flight home. Staff courteous, and arranged a 4 am taxi for us to the airport; the driver was prompt. The room was spacious and clean. The only minor complaint was that the coffee maker was broken, like clogged with mineral deposits…it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. But overall would recommend this hotel. Thank you to each of the kind front desk personnel we met!

Overall excellent - only problem was the walls were a little thin - so the argument in the next room til 2am was a problem that maybe would have been better if the walls were thicker. Bed a little hard as well!

But yes I'd stay again - big plus was the access direct from the central station - turn left facing the platform and just keep walking - you reach the hotel without leaving the station.

The hotel was perfectly located for our needs. We were stopping here on our way to Pompeii. The hotel is around the corner from the train station. The walk to the hotel from the train station was a little sketchy with a large population of homeless people sleeping on mattresses (who did not ask us for money or bother us in any way whatsoever!). Although during the day we felt safe, we did plan an early evening return trip from Pompeii to avoid being out in the night because of the area we were in. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodated an early check-in. I would stay here again because of their location and restaurant. You would have to enter/exit the train station and bypass the homeless people regardless of what hotel you stayed in so that should not be a deterent.
