Area is not pleasent at night in particular. Naples it self is not a clean city but people are nice. I decided to book another hotel outside of Naples. Stayed only one night. Hotel is in the second floor of the building. Its just ok for a single night stay.

Napoli Relais is conveniently located directly across from the Naples Central train station and close to the metro line station. This is a busy area with lots of shopping, restaurants, and people enjoying the piazza. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond to contact requests. Catching a cab to the airport was easy, as they line up in front of the train station. It was a great home base for exploring Naples.

Hotel itself is a short walk from the train station. Ettore was a good host. He greeted us on arrival, and was always responsive on WhatsApp for questions The room and amenities are basic, but very clean and comfortable. Expedia says it has Laundry, but it doesn't. We had specifically planned to wash clothes here during our trip and had to adjust. There are also people loitering outside the building which didn't always feel safe, but we never had any trouble. Overall it was a decent stay.

This hotel is located pretty much right outside the train station which is convenient but also located where all the junkies, pickpockets and beggars are also loitering so be aware. I did not feel safe going to the hotel but once inside the building the hotel is located within my perception of the place got better. The rooms are clean and updated. Our room was very small and cramped. I did not find it to be noisy even though right outside the city never sleeps. The free breakfast was lacking compared to what is offered at similar properties but still something for free is always welcome so I won’t completely bash it. Instead of paying for coffee out of a machine in the hallway we opted for McDonald’s located right across the street instead. We stayed here so we could visit Pompeii and Herculaneum which was a horrible location for doing that but if you’re looking to visit Naples itself is fine I guess. We also wanted a laundry facility which is not located on the property as advertised. Check in was easy and simple, the gentleman was friendly and provided information about the surrounding area. To be honest my boyfriend really disliked staying here but I think it more had to do with the area in general and the feeling of am I really staying somewhere safe. We left after one night with nothing bad happening so perhaps it’s all the bad YouTube videos and blogs that warn of the bad areas of Italy that really should be to blame for our feelings on this property.

The area was positively disgusting - very poor and looked extremely unsafe. We did not stay there so we forfitted the money and stayed at a nice hotel in the Chiaia area.....MUCH better. The elevator was ridiculous to get two adults in with bags......can't imagine going out for dinner while staying there. Terrible.....

Great and very friendly staff! Came out to find me when Expedias location was wrong. The hotel is not easy to find and the sign is very small. Maybe a foot square and lost among other signs like it. Look for the tall yellow building to the right side of the square in front of the train station. Look for the Mexican restaurant and the bigger door in the corner. The hotel in on the 2nd floor.

JUST A HOLE IN TH WALL WITH A FEW ROOMS. VERY SEEDY NEIGHBORHOOD. OUR PLANE WAS VERY LATE AND THE OWNER INITIALLY REFUSED TO LET US IN. WE ARE STANDING IN FRNT OF A LOCKED STEEL DOOR ON THE 3RD FLOOR OF A RUN DOWN BUILDING
WITH OUR BAGS. FINALLY HE DEMANDED $20 DOLLARS MORE TO LET US IN. I WOUD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS DUMP. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN EXPEDIA FOR THIS

The property itself was safe. We had to call the host to get the code to enter the building, call again to get the code into the lobbY and then we could also lock our room. But outside was very sketchy. The “buffet” breakfast were two packaged danishes and 2 biscotti 2 waters and two juice and you could make yourself a cup of instant coffee. Couldn’t shower because the shower wand was broken.

Rooms are very nice. The owner is really great, friendly, speaks good English and very helpful on what to do and where to go. The area surrounding the hotel is not the greatest. Somewhat dirty streets, sketchy people and not a very safe feeling. Other areas of Napoli are very nice so venture out. This hotel is also very close to the train station so that’s very handy. We only stayed one night in Napoli so this hotel was a good choice for us. The owner also helped getting a private driver to the airport which was also great.

Best hotel I experienced in Italy! A quick summary:
- Great location
- Friendly staff
- Clean, modern and bright room
- Breakfast provided

Location is very convenient, just 1 block from the train station with Trentalia, the metro and Circumvesuviana. Saw some reviews about it being harc to find, but with Google maps it was easy. Just exit the train station on the right side, cross the street and go past the bakery/coffee shop; it's the green gate.

The neighbourhood isn't the best in sense that the people are lower income, but we did NOT see drugs, girls by the hour or the like. The building itself is locked and we came back late (10-11pm) every night and felt safe. There is a convenience store and bakery just downstairs which open very late (at least until midnight), but not too many nice restaurants around. It's a bit of a walk, but there is a really good pizzeria (good seafood and pasta too) in the neighbourhood you could try, O'Marenaro. Like many small hotels in Italy, it is a single unit located within a larger building, and this unit has a reception and 5 individual rooms. Our room for 3 people had a queen and double bed, as well as a lounger.

This place is run by Ettore, who is SUPER friendly (but not overbearing). He gave us lots of tips on what to see in Naples and how to get to what was on our itinerary, complete with pictures on his computer to show us what we could see at each place. He also arranged for a cab to the airport for us. He isn't at the front desk

A nightmare. Don't go.

Kids loud crying in the middle of night. Guest (or may be a long term tenant) allowed their kids to make loud noise on the hallway. The door of the hotel room is virtually an empty box which allows the loud noise coming into the room. In the early morning, someone from that same room cooked some heavy smoking garlic stuff in their room. The choking smoke came through the vent and made us coughing a lot. No manager in this tiny home-based hotel in the entire night. The city was pretty bad anyway.

This is a wonderful little place to stay and very secure. We were warned by our taxi driver that it was not a safe place to walk around at night so we found a wonderful place to eat and get back to our accommodation before dark. It is just a 2 minute walk from the train station so was so convenient for our needs as we had an early train to Rome. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Our needs were easily met and we did not find the area scary at all. Breakfast was not what we were used to but adequate to get us started for the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if the need arose.

The room was clean and newly refurbished. Location was perfect, right next to Naples Central station. The host was welcoming. We had difficulty finding the location (we were in the car and busy traffic around station). Larger signage or additional information description could be helpful. Security was good- must ensure check-in times are noted.
I would recommend for couples or intrepid travelers.

Great stay near Strazione Centrale

We had a great stay at this location for 1 night on way to Puglia. They let check our luggage in early so we could go to Mount Vesuvius and were very helpful with information about area. We had a continental breakfast with was great so we didn't have to find anything and a awesome coffee machine. Room was very stylish and clean. Loved the bathroom! Fantastic shower!

The location is super close to Napoli Centrale, but far from points of interests. Project an early arrival time and find a way to call the owner, because no one is on site if you arrive early. Ettore, the owner, was helpful with food and sites suggestions, as long as they are not related to churches. The breakfast food options are prepackaged croissants, crackers and cereal. My suggestion is to grab a sfogliatelle instead.

Simply amazing

Located right beside the central station (which also lies adjoining the bus depot at Piazza Garibaldi), the location is simply excellent. The owner is cooperative. The security features are good. The place is clean. Room cleaning available only once between 10am and 11am. Wifi is good. Free breakfast is inclusive. The items (in sealed packets) would be stocked in your room during the daily cleaning.

Useful place to stay if going to airport

This was a really useful place to stay just before we flew out as so near the airport bus from the main station. This is an edgy area when you first arrive so better once you have seen the nicer parts of Naples. However proximity to station is great, nice room, make sure you have blankets as we did get chilly ( end of October) . very helpful owner, breakfast more limited but lovely café just downstairs. Lift. and balcony.

I was worried when I saw the exterior- it’s a commercial building on a seedy corner of Piazza Garibaldi that has been broken up into B and Bs. But once inside, it was very clean, comfortable and secure. The WiFi worked well and the proprietor made sure that I found my tour point. My only complaint was that occasionally the pipes would squeal when someone flushed the toilet.

Convenient location and a very helpful owner!

We had an enjoyable short stay at Napoli Relais. Although this B&B may not be located in the most glamorous part of the city, its location is just next to the Napoli Centrale station, which is very convinient for us. Ettore, the owner of this B&B has offered excellent service and has a very good sense of humor. The rooms were cozy and the beds were very comfortable.

The location is prefect. Less than 2mins walk from the centre station. Super easy to find. The host was very friendly and funny. Speaks good English. He introduced us about the place,our room,breakfast,how to work with coffee machine,also wanted to know our plan in Napoli so he able to gave us more information about it. He also kindly reminded us to avoid from the thieves. The day that I left the hotel, the lift was out of service, the host was very helpful to help me took my luggage down stairs. Soooooo helpful. And the room is very nice, big enough for two of us to stay. Very clean and bright. Everything in the hotel is so new and clean. I have nothing to dislike this hotel. Lovely.

Kiváló kellemes, kis hotel. Én nagyon szeretem. Nápoly full belvárosában, a Garibaldi tér szélén, a vasútállomástól 2 percre gyalog, a metrótól 1 percre gyalog.
A szobák, és fürdőszobák nagyon tiszták, panaszra nincs ok.
A reggeli kicsit gyenge, kicsit szegényes, ez az 1 ami nem tetszik, de hát ez van. A reggeli előre csomagolt dolgok, croissan, pirítós, dzsem, lekvár, vaj, nutella, és kb ennyi. Nem baj. A recepció nem 24 órás, így bejelentkezéskor előre szólni érdemes / kell. Ajánlom a hotelt mindenkinek.

Kiváló kis hotel. A környék elég gettós, de hát Nápoly egyik legszebb pontja sem jobb sokkal. Tehát a környékkel annyira nem foglalkoznék.
A hotelecske egy lakóépültben van, a 2. emeleten. Lift van. Ezen a 2. emeleten 5 szoba van. A recepciós kedves, segítőkész. A szobák tiszták, kifogástalanok. Napi takarítás van, ami meg is látszik. A fürdőszoba is kellemes, tiszta.
A reggeli nagyon szegény. Már előre megkapjuk a reggelit, ki van téve az asztalra. Előre csomagolt kis vackok, pirítós, nutella, lekvár, és 1 kis sima bolti Croissan. Szóval elég gyenge. De kibírható.
1 perc gyalog a vasútállomás, 1 perc a metró is.
A reggelitől eltekintve, ajánlom a hotelt.

Egyszerű kis hotel Nápolyban.

Nagyon kellemes kis hotel.
Ez a hotelecske, talán 5 szobával rendelkezik mindössze.
Nem túl nagyon hotel. Egy lépcsőházba kell bemenni a 2. emeleten van.
A recepciós korrekt, segítőkész.
A szobák kellemes és tiszták, napi takarítás van.
Ami gyenge (nagyon gyenge) az a reggeli. Előre be van készítve a szobában minden nap a reggeli. Ezek előre csomagolt pirítós, pici nutella, lekvár, és croissan. Nagyon alap dolog. Ezt megeszed és még lemész a kávézóba enni valamit :)
Szóval a reggeli majdnem a nullával egyenlő, de amugy a kis hotellel nincs semmi gond.
Az hogy a környék milyen (kicsit gettós) az egy dolog, de a szállodára panaszt nem tudok mondani. A reggelit leszámolva, ajánlom a hotelt mindenkinek.

La habitación muy bien era limpia y moderna. El Barrio muy malo estaba lleno de inmigrantes y daba un poco de miedo en la tarde y en la mañana temprano. El desayuno no existe es todo envasado unos croissants envasados, y unas mermeladas, lo cual no comimos. Además del recibimiento no hay nadie en la recepción después. Te cobran por dejar las maletas 10 euros, lo cual creo debería ser parte del buen servicio que ofrece el alojamiento.
