Central location ideal for exploring.

Hotel located 5 min walk from main train station. Hotel signage is small and easily missed. I had e-mailed a few days previous with our arrival time and Maria was on site to greet us. Maria’s English was better than our Italian and she was very helpful with places to see and how to get to them.
Room was clean and tidy although breakfast was a little disappointing. Ideal hotel to use as a short stay base to explore Naples, Pompei and surrounding areas.

The owner is great but we didn't enjoy location

Naples was disappointing to us and the area of the B&B didn't make us feel safe. The owner is super nice and so proud of his city but we did not enjoy the room because of the location of the B&B and various issues with the room (sheets and towels not soft, bedspread didn't appear clean, uncomfortable bed, hot water not always reliable). Also the room had a bunk bed in next to our bed, which took up space and was odd.

Omg! Hotel practically on top floor of a residential block. Like a scene out of taken. Room really cramped with a double bed/single bed and bunk bed. En suite about 2ft x 2ft so small you could use the toilet at the same time as showering. Free toiletries were refilled dirty bottles. Only stayed one night as a stop off before rome. Breakfast 10euros which consisted of a croissant and two biscuits. Owner didn't even wash his hands before preparing. Didn't allow my children to eat after witnessing this. Asked owner where the train station was and being helpful he went to his computer to get me a map. Unfortunately he hadn't closed his browser from his last time on it and was faced with a load of pornographic images to which we left straight away. Really unnerved since travelled with teenage girls. Hopefully hotels.com will rectify this. Please avoid if your travelling girls only

When the taxi driver dropped me off I was confused because I didn't see a sign for the hotel, but it was inside of building marked #10, on the second floor. Better than this I was greeted at the door by a very friendly and welcoming hotel owner. He told me exactly what I needed to know: best pizza in the neighborhood, what time and where the airport shuttle comes, where to walk if I wanted to explore naples. Room was clean, bed was comfy, good shower, had AC and wifi.

Nice balcony view on Via Ostiense, Rome.

Bruno was so kind & friendly. Our room was adequate with a crazy shower, but we managed. Good a/c & Wifi with a balcony which was lovely at night. Tea & coffee with a snack on the terrace in the morning. A short taxi ride from everything. We'd go back.

Naples Bed and Breakfast.

Our host was very nice and helpful. We saw him out on the streets a couple of times and he always came up to us and asked if we needed anything or gave us recommendations for restaurants. The apartment however was much smaller than we expected and not particularly comfortable. The mattress on the single bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very small. This space may be fine for 2 people but not for the 5 people we had.Still, a very nice man!

Good Location

Friendly staff, good advice about local restaurants and routes. However, we were very disappointed that when we checked in he wanted payment in cash, not credit card. The 'B&B' is really a four bedroom apartment on the third floor (no elevator) of an apartment block. Hard to tell it was a place of lodging from the outside, signage was non-descript. Rooms were comfortable, very clean and showers/bathroom very good.

Close to station and Naples historic centre

Easy walk from station, even with baggage. Lot's of homeless people in the area, but they did't bother anyone.
The hotel is on the 5th floor of a residential building and there's no elevator, so it's not for everybody, but we like it.

In Italy, it's normal practice for women to hang washing on lines outside the windows of their apartments, all visible from the street. (I'm not being sexist, they really were all women I saw doing it). They were very friendly and waved to us when we watched them from our room.

Cinquestelle in Naples

We needed something inexpensive for the night before returning home and this hotel fit the bill nicely. The location wa ideal for our purposes as we needed to catch a train early the following morning and the station was within easy walking distance. The proprietor was exceptionally nice. He made us feel very welcome and he clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. He seemed a bit uncomfortable about it, but he felt obliged to caution us to be mindful of pickpockets if we chose to go out for a walk, and we appreciated his candor. He even escorted us to the nearest grocery to make sure we wouldn't lose our way.
The rooms were spartan, but had all the necessities, including air conditioning, access to a fridge and a good internet connection. One downside was that the hotel is located up several flights of stairs and there is no elevator. If economy annd proximity to the train station are primary needs from a hotel in Naples instead of lots of bells and whistles, this is a good value.

The room itself was clean but the hotel was located inside another residence building on the third floor. The building itself was old and unkept. The hotel seem to be an apartment inside a residence building with several rooms which was converted into a hotel. Neighborhood seem dangerous but the room itself was ok. There is no elevator. The host Eugenio was very helpful and gave suggestions. The AC was good which in Europe seems to be a rare phenomenon. TV was too small too see, about 11inches and situated on top of the closet so only viewable from one side of the room. The room uses a common refrigerator for all guests staying at the hotel and is situated in the kitchen which is also the hotel lobby, laundry and breakfast area, probably former large living room of apartment. Overall service was great and room was clean and livable but the location was bad. Do not expect a 5 star hotel but do expect great service and a clean room.

Well worth it :)

Our stay it Cinquestelle was wonderful! Though it is located in a shady part of Naples, the actual accommodations were worth every euro - nothing luxurious, but it is a good alternative to staying in hotels with your friends. Our host was very charming and helpful and made sure to give us tips and other resources on how to get the best out of our stay in Naples. Breakfast in the morning was also delicious! Would highly recommend to those trying to travel on a budget.

The phantom hotel !

We would love to give you a better review but we never set foot in the hotel as there was no one there. We rang the bell and waited for 20 minutes and rang the numbers given outside the door but no one answere. Eventually we had to find othe accomodation . This ruined our day.
Furthermore I have complained to your company and was promised action within 72 hours. We have heard nothing and it's now 5 days. I will be taking further action and will never use your company again.

Good location for discovering Naples/travelling on

Very close to the main train station and stone's throw away from the historical centre.
The owner saved us a lot of time and possibly money by giving us good tips and information for our stay and onward travel. He was kind and ready to help and accommodate our requests and questions.
The room was cool and quiet so we had restful sleep.
Showers are really tiny though so you have to be quite slim to move around.

Payment was made at the place (I booked via Expedia), therefore I was charged in Euros. This caused me extra cost at my bank. Not much but actually means to be charged extra for the fact that the payment is not taken when booking is made. I guess this is more of a booking issue, not the hotel's problem.

We were very impressed with the hotel. The area isn't the greatest but we never felt unsafe and it's really close to the train station. Eugenio was extremely nice and very helpful! He truly cares about all of his guests. I would definitely stay there again!

One of the best B&Bs in Italy

Had a wonderful stay at Cinquestelle while visiting Italy. From Naples, we visited Pompeii/Mt. Vesuvius and the Amalfi Coast. The host was able to provide wonderful advice regarding transportation, food recommendations, scheduling and planning visits to these and other local landmarks. The room was very clean, neat. The bathroom had soap and shampoo. Every morning, a delicious breakfast was served. One of the best places we've stayed at in Italy, and hosted by the nicest couple. Would definitely recommend.

Our room was a double plus a bunk bed for the kids. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our host, Eugenio, made breakfast every morning at 8:30. The brioche were fantastic. The kids loved the hot chocolate he made with the milk frother. There is a nice street market about 2 blocks away with fresh fruit and vegetable stands, and stores for bread, cheese, etc. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Napoli Centrale, which is fantastic for day tripping to the rest of Campania. The wifi was adequate. Great pizza nearby.

In a useful location near the main station the area is a bit scruffy but don't be put off as is totally safe - except for very efficient pickpockets who seem to be common though many cities in Italy. Eugenio was a perfect host full of local knowledge, humour and good advice. Excellent restaurant only two blocks away.

The b&b owner was so friendly and so helpful, he drew us out a route to all the popular places and told us if we ever got lost or scared to call him and he would come and rescue us. We would recommend this place to all our friends visiting Naples. Well worth the money.

Clean and convenient refuge in busy Naples

Clean, efficient, and plain B&B well-run by helpful and friendly Eugenio and Maria. Located behind a tiny sign on narrow Via Bari, 100 steps east of Corso Novara three blocks north of Naples Centrale train station. Third floor. No lift. The room offered a large and comfortable bed, and extra bunk beds in the room provided welcomed additional surface space. Very serviceable wifi. Very secure, with three keys to enter the bldg., B&B, and room. (Almost too secure. As usual with B&Bs, the door to the room locked from the inside with a key. It may be a good idea to leave the key in the door inside against any need to exit quickly in the dark.) Very quiet at night. The common kitchen area contained a toaster oven, but no microwave. No fridge in the room. Eugenio provided discount coupons for a trendy, very good Italian restaurant on Piazza Nazionale two blocks away. He also directed us to a convenient nearby grocery store. The B&B accepted payment by credit card. Despite many pickpocket warnings, we had no problems at all in Naples, and we walked the neighborhood several times at night without incident. The operators do not live on site, but the staff was present every morning. Sufficient English.

Best part of visiting Naples!

Eugenio is fabulous. He shared a wealth of information and suggestions related to sites, transportation and great places to eat (Ask him to direct you to the chicken takeout place!) and he has a particular soft spot for children. My daughter and he became fast friends. He really made us feel at home. The room and linens were spotless and always fresh - Thanks Maria. If you are visiting Naples, be sure to stay here.

Eugenio's hospitality is second to none!

Eugenio the owner of the Bed and Breakfast made us see Naples in a total different angle. It's a very personalised and human experience. As soon as we arrived he greeted us the most natural and friendly way. He helped us parking our car in a private garage, explained Naples to us on the map and showed us all the places we could go. Then he dropped us to a very nice pizza place in the centre of Naples.
We followed his advices and visited the places he indicated us. And we had a great time. He taught us how to be relaxed in this very chaotic environment and basically do like the Napolis do.
If I go to Naples I would definitely go back to this B&B.

Excellent Care By Hotel Owner

Hotels around the train station are not very desirable. But we were able to find this hotel due to the positive comments and affordability. We emailed the owner to let him know that we will be arriving very late in the evening. He went out of his way to to try to find us at the train station. He even tried to call our cell phone to contact us. He is very personal and attentive. He wanted to make sure that we arrived at his hotel safely. The hotel is about 3 blocks from the train station. The owner went over our plans everyday and made suggestions on our travels and costs. He is very passionate on running his hotel and taking care of the needs of his customers. He is the best.

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 24 al 27/07/2021. Eugenio è una persona molto gentile e disponibile che fornisce tutte le indicazioni per rendere il viaggio e la scoperta di Napoli interessane. La struttura è molto comoda in particolare per chi, come noi, siamo arrivati in treno. Sicuramente se torneremo a Napoli sceglieremo di soggiornare di nuovo da Eugenio.

No funcionaba el wifi. No limpiaron la habitación ni hicieron las camas, solo sacaron la basura. Eramos 4 y estabamos amontonados e incómodos. No hay ascensor y tuvimos que subir 2 pisos por escalera con la valija. El desayuno era normal, no continental como decía. En la habitación no había regrigerador. El baño era muy pequeño y sin bidet ni bañera. Cuando quise consultar algo a la media hora de haber llegado ( 12 del mediodía) la recepción estaba cerrada y nadie atendíó.

Très bien placé non loin de la gare et navette aéroport. Centre historique a 15 mn à pied. Deux étages à monter mais marches pas très hautes.
Bon accueil d'Eugenio. Chambre donnant sur cour intérieure calme. Mammas papotant le matin d'une fenêtre à l'autre, trop sympa : toute l'Italie 😊
Problème d'eau chaude le soir et lendemain matin. Petit déjeuner simple et bon.
Ce n'est pas le luxe mais c'est tout à fait correct. On redonnerait l'adresse

Soggiorno piacevole, familare..Napoli mille colori

Essendo arrivati in treno, abbiamo trovato molto comoda la posizione perchè vicinissima alla stazione. I proprietari, Eugenio e Maria, ci hanno accolto con cortesia, disponibilità e simpatia dandoci preziosi suggerimenti sugli itinerari da seguire.
La camera è risultata pulita e ordinata.
La colazione buona, semplice ed essenziale con le tipiche grandi brioche napoletane.

Eugenio e Maria sono dei proprietari molto premurosi e sanno come accogliere gli ospiti: sono molto disponibili, solari e simpatici.

Il b&b è più un affittacamere (ognuna con bagno privato) con una piccola sala per la colazione e stanze un po' da rinnovare (doccia piccola, scarico del bagno molto rumoroso). È comunque fornito di tutto: asciugamani con cambio giornaliero, set bagno completo (phon, bagnoschiuma e shampoo grandi), ottima posizione (vicinissimo alla stazione ed alla metro/pullman), condizionatore in ogni camera, tv, buona colazione (brioche da pasticceria molto grandi e gustose con caffè latte fatto al momento).

La mancanza dell'ascensore nello stabile è un punto a sfavore essendo al secondo piano (adatto quindi maggiormente a giovani). La zona non è delle migliori, ma risulta comunque sicura.

Lo consiglio.

TRANQUILLO E COMODO, VICINO ALLA METRO

Eravamo in quattro per una gita familiare, il personale è stato gentilissimo e disponibile a spiegarci tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno per muoveci dentro Napoli e visitare ciò che ci interessava. L'albergo è pulito e l'atmosfera è accogliente e conviviale; situato al secondo piano di un grande palazzo tipico napoletano, si trova a cinque minuti dalla metro \"Garibaldi\"(Stazione Centrale) La stanza era pulita, anche se non tanto grande, così come il bagno, ma, per noi, sufficiente e funzionale. La colazione buona ed abbondante ad orari comodi. Abbiamo viaggiato in auto, che non abbiamo usato in città, ma posteggiata in garage sicuro ed economico(Garage Centrale) consigliato dai gestori, a cinquanta metri dal B&B, Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Piccolo consiglio: attenzione alla manutenzione ed allo stato della biancheria. Da consigliare.

El dueño muy atento y amable. La habitación y baño amplios. La limpieza muy buena. El estado de algunos elementos deteriorados, como por ejemplo parte de la cortina caída y sábana rota. Toallas en buen estado. Queda en un 2° piso contando el nivel de la calle como piso cero, lo que hace muy agotador el subir y bajar el equipaje. Creo que esta característica debe ser publicada de forma notoria en internet, para que las personas con movilidad reducida tengan conocimiento de esta dificultad.

Posizione strategica

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica perché vicinissima alla stazione centrale e alla metropolitana. Per gli amanti della camminata si possono comunque raggiungere molti punti di interesse facilmente a piedi. Di notte la camera è molto silenziosa nonostante la zona sia trafficata. Il proprietario fantastico!

A dieci minuti dalla stazione e a quindici da porta Capuana, ingresso al centro storico. Eugenio è stato gentilissimo e accogliente, ottimi i cornetti della colazione. Certamente non è un albergo e non ha gli stessi servizi, poi in un contesto come quello di Napoli l'impatto è molto forte. Mia prima esperienza in un b&b...

Vi valgte at bo her pga. beliggenheden - tæt på stationen og centrum. Vi blev glædeligt overrasket. Eugenio var sådan et rart menneske. Han lavede en guide til os over byen og gav gode tips til udflugter og restauranter. En helt igennem rar og hjælpsom mand. Værelset var super fint, gammelt og autentisk i stilen men godt til prisen. Morgenmaden bestod af lun croissant og kaffe. Vi var meget tilfredse med opholdet og ville her igen.

Excelente ubicación con personal muy amable

El hotel está muy cerca de la estación de tren y del centro histórico. La atención del dueño es inigualable. Gracias a sus tips pude ir a Pompeya a pesar del poco tiempo que tenía y con bajo presupuesto.

la posizione del b&b è estremamente pericolosa (persone poco raccomandabili in strada, barboni ecc. siringhe e sporco), la camera era sporca, poco curata e la sera senza acqua calda, asciugamani logori e non sufficienti per il numero degli occupanti della stanza, un solo bagnoschiuma in flacone da litro, nessun bicchiere o altro accessorio per l'igiene.la colazione deprimente, una brioches riscaldata ed un caffè preparato col la miscela del caffè precedente(a Napoli!!!!), 2 fette biscottate in busta ed una piccola vaschetta di marmellata. non ci tornerei nemmeno sotto tortura

La simpatia e disponibilità di Eugenio compensano alcune evidenti mancanze prima tra tutte la colazione molto basilare ( 1 brioche surgelata e riscaldata a microonde + 1 caffe o the ) e la mancanza di tipicità dei locali.In pratica è un appartamento diviso in 4 camere + 1 piccola cucina con 2 tavolini .La zona è a 200 mt dalla stazione ferroviaria da cui passano anche metro+circumvesuviana quindi comoda come base di partenza .
