Hotel located in a quite busy commercial area but that makes it convenient for meals and grocery shopping. Large reception area and restaurant. It has its own free parking in the basement. Chose to stay there as it was value for money and just a 1-km drive to the Genting Premium outlet. The triple room was really spacious but the bathroom was disappointingly small. The toilet bowl was leaking and the walls lacked proper attention for a 3-star hotel. Still, looking beyond all these, it is still a good, convenient hotel for a repeat visit.

This hotel room was huge. They provide the basic necessary. But the furnishing was old and i remember seeing a note that states that they will charge RM20 if tenant moved the bed location. This is a surprise to me.

This was a nightmare, dirty, smelly, your deposit in the toilet ends up at your feet, dirty towels with stains you can only imagine what the cause was, I have visited nearly 90 countries, this is the first time I have complained, Expedia should drop this hotel from their selection... It's a bloody disgrace

I strongly suspect that the sheets were not washed - it was stinky ! When asked to change , the respond from the housekeeping staffs were ‘we already changed the sheets’! The carpet was dirty and the hallway was musty.

Don't even think of booking this hotel

I really can't think of anything good to say about this hotel. Probably rates as one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and thats with being in the travel industry for over 40 years, staying in hotels all over the world. Maybe would have been acceptable if it had been a third of the price.
We had 2 rooms, neither rooms had any towels, one room the toilet was broken and no light either and the hand basin was chipped and dirty. The walls were dirty and stained and to cap it all they took a deposit on checking in and physically checked the rooms on check out before refunding the deposit. When I asked what they were checking, they said the towels! As for the breakfast, my family are asian (I'm western and didn't even go to check) but they took one look on what was on offer and left and found a restaurant outside. Avoid this hotel.

we offered room at level 2 at the beginning, when we got in the room, the room very smelly, ceiling can see water leakage. we immediately requested to change another room. It was lucky the hotel front desk managed to switch us to another room at level 3 which the further and setting in the room is far better and no bad smell. happy!

Hotel's staff is very polite & helpful
The room is spacious but the room condition is a bit smellly, no door mat supplied outside the toilet.\
Food is very good eventhough not so many choices.
Several shop are nearby & we can choose the food either roti canai, nasi lemat or others.
The location is very near to GPO, is is around 10-15 minutes to reach.

The good things of this hotel are near to many restaurants and have sufficient car park for guests. Staffs are friendly though for serving guests. However, the facilities of this hotel is insufficient for guests such as wifi for rooms, hair dryer as wells as the channels for tv. I hope these can be improved in the future. Thank you

I can't use WiFi in my room. When I first walk in my room, smell were not pleasant, it feels like the room has been in the dark for a long time. The sink was broken and water were dripping when I use the sink. The room was big and the service was good, nothing much, not as impress as it look from the picture.

Badly managed and maintained hotel

Rooms are neither nor beds made everyday.

Bathroom in terrible condition. Leaking sink, flaking ceiling, no bath curtains, wet floor and walls smirched with dirt and black smudges.

Central is broken and room cooled by small unit and fan.

Towers are thin, two with no face or hand towels.

Indifferent to compliant as understood they could do nothing with management.

Hotel is grossly understaffed.

Booked hotel by mistake as image resembles the hotel we wanted with similar sounding name.

Have to put deposit for room(Myr$100) and ($Myr30) for extra room key and $Myr10 per day($Myr) for tourism tax.

Bedbugs and dirty

Not amazing at all. Due to the full booking of hotels in Genting Highland, so me and my friends decided to book a hotel in Gohtong Jaya. It's all fine that the hotel looks old... but I am so terried with the bedbugs on the bed! The receptionist just acted like its a norm for people to complain about bedbugs, and he looked so chill and just replied me an "OK". I asked to speak to manager, they just simply ask a Kitchen Manager to come out and talk to me. I told him its bedbugs everywhere! and the room was so dirty, he just nodded his head and never apologize.
Furthermore, I complaint about the toilet, it has insects inside the toilet and the shower curtain (I think they never change it for more than 5 yrs based on what I've seen) is super dirty and many stains on it.

They told me that they will offer me a free stay for my next visit because they cannot do a refund. I told them i will never want to visit this hotel anymore. Eventually, after lodge a complaint and spoke to them, they agreed for refund.

I will not recommend this hotel to everyone of you, I am sure that they never take any initiative to improve or to clean thoroughly the hotel rooms. Don't stay there unless you love bedbugs or you can stay in such place!

Dirty rooms, no water n rude front desk!

Came 10am to notify thm we were there n requested the room face carpark. Told us chk in after 3pm. Cool about it as it was the holliday season. Came back at 6.30pm to chk in, given a room wz no running water in bath table was fill with ants feeding on curms n coffee stains n there we no phone in the room fr asst. Came back down to resolve the matter, front desk insist its not her fault instate of giving us another room. Swap our room to much smaller room n face the roof! Need to came back down wz my 3kids. N still insist its not her fault as rooms not ready! Finally got our fmly room with no towels. It gose on! Will never stay there again. Terrible svc & under par breakfast!

Was given a smoking room so the room does not smell nice. I wish the staff had asked whether we would like a smoking or not. Or maybe the option should have been given when booking on expedia. Staff at the counter not friendly at all. we cheked in on the 4th january room number 301. the room was louzy facing the main road with all the motor and cars bragging their engine. not in peace until late at night. bedsheets and blankets were dirty. room with carpet is so smelly. wifi service cannot be use on floor 3..only csn be used at the lobby. i would not go there sgain.
